I think this is a lovely scent. I like this. It does remind me of Miss Dior Cherie a bit. I like that these benefitted PETA.
They are Vegan and Cruelty free. Pam is one of the first and only celebs that did this with their beauty or fragrance line.
Actually had concern over the implications of its production.
PETA is a wonderful cause. And this is a nice scent.

Watered down patchouli & something that smells really plastic or playdoh like. Still its somehow less vile than the blue one. I dont think either of them are well made at all. I wear cheap &/or celebrity perfumes when they are well made. These are cheap & smell cheap. Again, im not upset I bought it since it supports PETA but I cant rebuy either of them.

ok, first, the bottle is transparent glass, not this pinkish beauty we see in the picture. second, i got this one, when i smelled this from the spray, it is so amazing. 100 points, but when i sprayed it out, oh, such a horrible smell, 50 points
the opening is quite fruity and sweet
but very soon it turns into a genetic artificial plastic smell which i could detect neither patchouli nor orchid.
and u expected this to be a long-lasting scent according to the notes ?
lasts about 30 minutes on my skin
    maybe because of summer heat

Edited. This is the blue one. I’ve just purchased this primarily because it is not tested on animals and is 100% vegan. I’m pleasantly surprised so far but it was so not what I was expecting. I envisioned a low siliage and watery tropical fragrance- something like Britney’s island fantasy or Katy Perry gourmonds. It’s much more Sophisticated than that though. Think Hugo boss deep red or the poison range. Still i out for final verdict though but so far is interesting enough and sweet for me. I also got the o other Pammy at the same time and think it’s called but like miss dior Cherie. Not very me but if you like great for a clear conscience x

This is sooo Yummy! Don’t be afraid of the notes listed, they are so compatible. This is a serious party of players, but if you like to dance, GO for it! I tried this based on all of the helpful Fragrant-ian advice and on the night I wore this out, I gave someone a hug and she said’ You smell wonderful”! I really enjoyed this, like it even a tad more than the ‘Day’ Malibu. I do love ‘loud’ fragrance and was not worried about ‘failure’ at this price. What I loved most is the discovery that not all perfumes must be so serious and ‘pedigreed’ to be enjoyable. I love it that some of the $ goes back to PETA, and helps some adorable ‘mutts’. I am now on a mission to discover the really reasonably priced and fabulous ‘overlooked’ ‘gems’ in the fragrance world that are out there. Fore sure, this is one.

O my God I love this!
First of all the bottle. Nice. I always check for these things, because I do like the bottle to look good enough to display in my collection. This bottle looks like a pink diamond. Very sexy and Marilyn Monroe- ish. I had never sampled this because you won’t find this at any Macy’s store. It was a blind buy but I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the fragrance. In some online sites or ebay you can find it for 30 bucks.
This is what I was talking about when I reviewed Can Can by Paris Hilton. This perfume is more like a stripper perfume! It’s sexy and filled with gourmand good smelling notes: chocolate, amber, vanilla, violet, orchid and wood. This is probably unisex too since it’s not super feminine or girly but it’s not a guy’s cologne either. It’s a well balanced fragrance of good stuff. I like the pomegranate in this perfume. It reminded me of Calvin Klein Euphoria but with a lot more chocolate and vanilla.
The patchouli note is rather odd but it seems to give this fragrance everything it needs. It’s not a gross patchouli. It’s like a little incense and with the champaca it seems to make this into an Oriental not a heavy Oriental but more like a modern Floral Oriental.
And that vanilla and chocolate is like a cake. This is such a sexy sexy sexy perfume. It always gets guys attention and girls. Last time I wore it to a club a guy smelled it on me and asked what perfume it was so he can buy it for his girlfriend. He danced with me anyways in order to get the scent on him I think lol
I love this perfume. It also really does seem to match with Pamela Anderson’s personality and celebrity image, but the image she had in the 90’s when she was in every magazine, when she was on Baywatch and when she was the most desired blonde celeb that made even Anna Nicole Smith look bad by comparison. This is a sex bomb. It’s seductive and womanly. The scent has great longevity and you can wear it after you get home from work and the scent will be on you while you go out for the night with your friends.
    Nice!

I have the 100 ML Eau de Parfum in the pink bottle. This is a lovely fragrance. It has a sweetness and spiciness that suits the sex bomb persona of Pamela Anderson, but the Pam we remember from Baywatch in the 90’s. This is sexy, this lasts a long time and has notes I’m crazy about: chocolate, vanilla, orchid, violet, amber. Patchouli continues to surprise me. Patchouli is probably what makes perfume so good without us even realizing it. It smells green at first, with green notes that could be osmanthus or tea leaves. The sweet scent of vanilla and chocolate reign supreme although it’s still very floral with orchid and lotus. A pomegranate orange flavor is also there. The amber and woods are divine. This went straight on my dresser table in my bedroom. This is a seduction scent. And I can confirm that this stuff really works.

I like it. This smells sweet but in a mature way rather than girly, sticky sweet. Don’t want to smell like candy. I gender bend fumes but not quite that far. Too mature for that to not be weird. My passion is an oriental, any Elizabeth Taylor. However, this is a fantastic change of pace I’ll wear day or night. Maybe the patchouli helps unisex it for me.

You know, I really wish Pamela Anderson had went on to make more fragrances (and who knows- she may still do so). I enjoy the two she created and the story they tell.
Despite the fact that this is very different than the Malibu “day” fragrance (the blue bottle), they go hand in hand. “Day” represents a dreamy day on the beach in Malibu (for a spoiled entitled celebrity of course). “Night” simply continues the story. It’s something you would spray on after a day of surfing and a quick change of clothes to hit a trendy club still smelling of sea salt. It’s candyish sweet, but not in a scary way.
To me it kind of smells like Turkish delight, the gelatenous rose desert. If you do not like patchouli, stay away from this as it’s basically the star of the show here. Malibu Night is not my all time favorite but I really like it! It’s fun and not too serious and does have some sophistication to it. My only complaint is (like the “day” version) it doesn’t last very long. Staying power isn’t the greatest, but it’s inexpensive. I’d say worth carrying it along in your bag and reapplying in the john.

Unfortunately the bottle I ordered off of eBay came destroyed (like, literally I think the postman had some sort of grudge against me that day), so I only had about 5% of the original juice left in the bottle, which, by the way, was literally EATEN away by the alochol content in this perfume.
So, my review may be a little biased. Maybe.
It smells awful. Nothing like I hoped. I’m a huge patchouli lover and was looking for something sweety and patchy for night time. This just smelled like a mess of acetone nail polish remover and stayed very linear for 20 minutes before it was gone completely.
I threw the bottle in the trash and got a refund from the seller. Sorry, Pammy, I tried!

Returned it. Too much patch, not my cup of tea. but then again may have been a spoiled bottle.

I blind bought this at Big Lots today. Only $8 for 1.7 oz. My bottle looks the same, but the juice is clear, maybe old and changed. Glad I only paid that for it because at the top smells very much like finger nail polish remover and patchouli, strong patchouli. Kinda reminds me opening J.S. Fancy Nights. That’s all I really got for first hour, but then dried down to powdery amber. I don’t know if I’ve ever smelled Coco M. so can’t compare, but if smells similar would not pay top price for this. Definitely don’t get fruity floral with this seems more oriental. Will def require further testing, dont know if I can get past that long polish remover smell.

I was surprised with this one after smelling her Malibu Day, this is more of a mature sophisticated scent. I can smell the scents, Patchouli with pomegranate hints of chocolate then dry down of green notes, somewhat musky. Very pretty!

  14. :

I agree with others, it’s Coco M with a dash of the saltiness of Womanity. I actually really like it when I’m in the mood for it, overall very impressed with Pamela’s fragrances. I enjoy Malibu Day, too, though the lasting power and sillage are much weaker with that one.

  15. :

Malibu Night is just okay. It’s not a horrible smell, but it just doesn’t work for me. I tend to like Patchoulli in small doses (Britney Spears Believe, Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction) When it’s a dominant note, (Malibu Night, Jessica Simpon Fancy Night) I don’t care for it. Even if the price was great, I still wouldn’t buy a bottle. In my opinion, Malibu Day is definitley the better of Pamela Anderson’s fragrances.

  16. :

    5 out of 5

Definitely getting the Coco Mademoiselle vibe here, although the patchouli in Malibu Night is not quite as green and strong, or the notes as defined.
This shares a similar fruity-oriental-patchouli characteristic but it is understandably a little thinner, and not as strong, sweet or long-lasting.
I am not a fan of Coco M anyway, so I would have preferred that this scent be a little more distinctive and unique, but I have no complaints regarding the value. I like the smell enough to justify the price of owning this, but not enough to warrant purchasing a bottle of Coco Mademoiselle.

I’m actually quite surprised by this one. It’s not one I would ever seek out to buy. I received a sample from the lovely smile4thecamera so am trying it out today.
I’m getting a distinct Chanel-esque vibe from this perfume. It reminds me of Coco Mademoiselle in the way it is fruity and soft. It has alot of similarities! It’s really nice and very unexpected! If you want a cheaper version of coco mad then get this!!
It’s more fruity than anything else. Chocolate isn’t even a factor here for me. It’s more about the pomegranate and soft sweet flowers.
I also don’t find this scent beachy..I would say this is more of an elegant evening scent.
    I really like it!

Hmn, I wanted to love this. I’ve seen it mentioned here and there as a beachy type of scent so I knew I had to get my hands on a bottle. The notes looks extremely promising and I thought, “Patchouli and chocolate in a fragrance, and it still manages to be beachy? Must try.”
Well, I can see the similarities to TM Angel in the begining. It’s that patchouli and chocolate blend that make it so similar. There’s a lot going on here, but thankfully it does not stay like a cheap nockoff of Angel for too long. It dries down into something deep and spicey. Its not for me, though I have to say that for a celebrity its pretty daring.

Ok, I am definitely not adverse to celebrity scents but I had my doubts about one put out by Pamela Anderson. But this is amazing. Fruit, chocolate, patchouli, and yes something beachy in there as well. I can’t stop sniffing my wrist! Very well done.

when I pull the box out to get the scent out I can smell a strong peppery aroma, when I spray it its just kinda strong, almost nauseating and no cocoa or anything sweet in this, just blasts of……i dont’ even know what it is, its just awful.

Malibu Night is an interesting scent, underrated in my opinion and unfortunately it is often overlooked in the world of celebrity releases.
I have never been Pam`s biggest fan but I really warmed to her in the past years due to her voluntary work for animals. The fragrance is, of course, cruelty-free which is a big bonus.
Now, down to the scent, I mostly get pomegranate and pathouli. Not too sweet at all, more fruity than sweet and somehow elegant, although this is the fragrance that made me realize that I don`t really like pomegranate in perfumes – it gives the scent a definite unisex, borderline masculine quality just like in Jo Malone`s Pomegranate Noir.
In this case it is well balanced with earthy, dry patchouli.
I was really excited about the cacao/chocolate accord but sadly I get very little of it, well, maybe a pinch of dry cocoa.
This whole composition is rather mature to my nose, not at all your typical “celebrity-style” gourmand.
I wouldn`t even classify it as a gourmand, to me it`s much more like a fruity floral or chypre fruity.
Overall this is a pretty fragrance, longevity is about 4 hours with not too overpowering sillage.
    The bottle is really cute.
Malibu Night is available for a very affordable price so I would say it`s definitely worth a try – you might be pleasantly surprised.

I would like to try this sounds interesting. And get a grip ajl577 how do you know that Pam doesn’t help the local shelters. I Help the Human Society, I don’t locally, have three very wonderful puppies that I adopted (brothers that were left to die with their mommy). . . Please this is about the perfume it is not like she is taking out helpless animals and testing on them. Sometimes our opinions are best left to ourselves as well as the road paved with good intentions!

I’m a big fan of beachy scents, so I thought I’d give Pam’s a try. I love it! There is so much more to this scent than meets the eye. First of all the pomegranate gives it a bit of a tart quality, and champaca flowers? Wow, not many perfumers use champaca – they are awesome. Malibu Nights has kind of a sultry-salty dry-down with a titch of cocoa and wood. I’ve been wearing it during the day because it makes me feel good, and it’s not an overly powerful scent to begin with – at least on me. This is surprisingly lovely and soft and wonderful. I personally think the ingredients are pretty amazing, and this doesn’t smell like anything else I’ve tested which is also great. This is one of the few scents I’ve purchased lately that makes me want to over-spray big time and wear it every single day.
The bonus is that it’s cruelty-free fragrance, which is important to me.

Well…for the price..this is a decent perfume. In the middle phase, it almost smells like cinnamon and bubblegum..sounds strange, but that is what I smell at a certain point!! It is nice, definitely for warmer weather. It is pretty.

O.k. I am in total agreement with PerfumePatty. This smells like TM Angel, a bit easier on the patchouli I think, and easier to wear because of that. Decent sillage and lasting power (not as good as Angel by any means though). Decent little perfume.

This fragrance does reminded me indeed of Miss Dior Cherie or Coco Mademoiselle, but at the same times it has its own originality, maybe those masculine notes? which I think patchouli and pomegranate would cause. It also smells beachy to me and I even detect some slaty ocenic notes tehre. To my nose prominent notes are orchid, patchouli and amber.
I find this scent quite nice actually, but I understand those people who get the masculine notes there. I still like it. My problem is I don’t know where to wear it, maybe on the beach at night time? Although to me it’s not dark anough for the night and too overwhelming for the day. I do think this scent would suit more the young croud though.

I got it today, i love Peta and suporting causes like this so that was my first reason to get it.
In second i love Pam Anderson.
In third, the smell is amazing very spicy and sexy, is similar to Coco Mademoiselle but more ambery and woddy (But not hevy).
the bottle is not my favorite but i do like the box.
The lasting power is very impressive (almost all day)…
    I highly recomended ; )

I tried this one today. It reminds me of something familiar (in a sort of Miss Dior Cherie kind of way)but I can’t quite put my finger on it. I mostly get the chocolate, amber, vanilla and patchouli notes. I am starting to really fall for this one. Ok here is an update:
So I was able to get a bottle of this for a really cheap price and I am starting to really love this. It took me about 4 times testing this to really make up my mind about it but it really is quite nice and well done. To me it smells NOTHING like Angel. I am very impressed Pam! I LOVE this perfume!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This also bears quite a similar resemblence to Coco Mademoiselle.

Tried a tester at a department store of this – my immediate impression was that it’s a knock-off of Thierry Mugler’s Angel. Too synthetic for me.

This one surprised me as well, I picked it up just to see how much I would hate it and I ended buying it. Definitely an evening version.

Just thought I’d stick up for this one. It doesn’t strike me as masculine at all! On me the chocolate and orchid come through to sweeten the mix, and the patch and pomegranate give it some character and bite. This was a blind buy for me, and I find that I’m getting a lot of use out of it. (The chai aspect mentioned below was graham-crackery to me, but that’s not a complaint. Unexpected and cute.)

  33. :

    4 out of 5

I get no chocolate in this! Actually all I get is masculinity at full blast. Smells heavy, cheap and tacky. I was hoping with all the notes it might surprise me, especially since most of them work splendidly on me. It did surprise me, but in a bad way.

Malibu Night is not just another eponymous fragrance. It’s a perfume with a purpose. Portions from the proceeds for this organic, cruelty free perfume will be donated to animal cruelty rights/PETA organizations and that alone works for me. This floral fruity gourmand scent is seemingly pure. It’s a summery, beachy, light weight perfume that performs well in the hot humid tropical climates. I wore it to the beach in the day and into the night last weekend and was more than satisfied with this scent.
Pomegranate and chocolate and a touch of green in the opening notes are alive and kicking but calm down smoothly and fuse into the heart in an ingratiating manner as the black orchid and lotus make their floral presence. The dry down is pleasing as the wood of the mahogany and sweet golden amber unite flawlessly. The ideal amount of patchouli appears allowing this fragrance to linger on pleasantly for a good 4 to 5 hours.
Point-blank: a fun, free spirited summer fragrance.
