    A Real Beauty
If you found Gypsey water not bright enough and a little too feminine , then this is what you always wanted.
Beautiful and classic, similar to creed smw, but without the metallic edge and smoother, brighter and even smells of higher quality
I get 3 to 5 hour longevity and fair to poor projection sadly, but this is a romantic scent
This would work magic on a picnic, spring days and summer days
This is better than reflection man, less performance, but a better smell. Sorry, not sorry

This one is a beauty and embodies the full experience of perfumery. Citrus and florals mixed with a musky-ambery base. It’s unique, for sure. I’ve had such a strange experience with this one… It’s my most worn fragrance – and probably my most beloved fragrance – and yet I never think of this. I never talk about this. It’s fairly middle of the road unisex. I think the sweetness of the opening may lean femme, but the opening lasts every bit of 2 minutes. If you’re truly looking for a unique, uplifting take on citrus – this should be on your radar. The mixture is stunning. This is a happier, sweeter version of silver mountain water – but I’d reach for this over that every single time. This is fantastic.

    Fragrance -Magia Bois 1920
    Bottle from – 2017
Magia opens with fresh, bright, pleasant, natural and charming citrus notes of mandarin and bergamot fused with a romantic jasmine, followed by amber.Than as it lingers on the skin,it slowly moves to a little bit spiritual, powdery, woody and musky scent with a hint of animalic notes and a wisper of mysticism. This fragrance has a calming effect on me and reminds me of a forest elves casting a healing spells. It has some similarities to Silver Mountain Water by Creed,Silver by Al Rehab and Mefisto by Xerjoff.
    Longevity – 7/10(7+ hours)
Silage/Projection – 7/10(moderate projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours)

I received a sample of Magia during a recent order and I tried it this morning for shits ‘n grins not knowing what to expect. Very nice!…a mostly citrus and white floral fragrance with a bit of a metallic-fruity twag, for lack of a better word. But wait, where have I smelled this before? Okay, it does have a bit of at Silver Mountain Water thing going on, but this fragrance not a SMW clone by any means. It’s just a refreshing Spring/Summer fragrances IMO.
Performance wasn’t stellar in that it lasted 4-5 hours and sat softly, although not a quite a skin-scent, on my fragrance friendly skin. The drydown was pleasant (sort of a white musk) but I had to bury my nose into my skin to find it.
Overall, I like it but it’s not bottle-worthy for reasons mentioned above. But it is a nice fragrance so judge for yourself because I do like it.

Nice fragrance but I found it to be low sillage and longevity. After a few hours or less it became a skin scent. Not sure worth the extra $$ for this one.

A refreshing change of pace for me, who doesn’t usually go for citrus. I got this as a bonus with a sample order (twistedlily) and found it surprisingly enjoyable. A realistic, juicy orange is on top, supported by musk. It doesn’t last super long or project that far, but it’s a pretty light scent, so that’s understandable.

I got a bunch of samples from twistedlily to try some new summer scents, and this is one of the only ones that captivated me right away. I’m getting a refreshing citrus with a warm base. A grapefruit margarita that’s been sitting on the beach for a bit; the ice has melted and some of the salt from the rim has made its way into the cocktail. The animalic element is subtle and just adds a unique warmth to the base. Simple, natural and very refreshing.
update: After several wears and reading some reviews comparing this to Creed SMW, it is now mostly what I get when I smell it. Undoubtedly it is a smoother, better blended SMW, with a more naturalistic and animalic warmth to it, and a juicy orange top note. Unfortunately, I also agree with wxmath on its weakness. I hate to say it but once the $2 Al-Rehab Silver dries down it would be 95% there, and you’d probably have a chance at being noticed with that one too. Very nice, but it would be hard to pay the price with that in mind

When I tested this one out the SA presented me Magia as well as Ancora Amore, and insisted I (a woman) would like Ancora Amore more. Well she guessed wrong. Magia wins me over instantly with its citrusy but slightly oriental nature.
The perfume opens with orange and spices in a very fresh way. It is by no means salty, like their former release Verde di Mare(2014) or even the famous Hermes Eau Des Merveilles. The floral note is quite subdued to my nose. The listed “animal note” really comes across as leather than the true animalic smell, and it shows up half an hour after Magia begins to dry down, giving it a “leather shoes” note as well. At the base I can smell the amber. It is a tiny bit powdery, but doesn’t bother me.
Like Cyrus Smith said, a good everyday scent that is well-rounded and very pleasant. Depending on what you seek in your cologne (e.g. leather) this might tickle your fancy. I also tested this on paper, so it might behave much more interestingly on skin.
    Good job Bois 1920!

Magia is a very bright & simplistic creation that evolves basically around the freshness of sharp citruses, white floral note and animalic notes that comes out more peppery than animalic (at least on me). Tart, biting and bright is how I could summarize this new fragrance from Bois 1920. An everyday fragrance that doesn’t reinvent anything, but stand out by the realistic & natural overall feeling it offers. Longevity is around 6 hours, silage is moderate. A like for me.
As always with Bois 1920 great quality ingredients and naturel smelling composition.
