I’ve blind bought this perfume 100ml of it after reading all the good reviews on it but OMG! this is NOT for me at all so I have this full bottle of 100ml just sitting there & Sure will not get much attention from me 🙁
SOrry to all you that adore it! but i’m not into green stuff! I am more of oriental vanilla person

There is an herbal, green, grassy note in the drydown. Atemesia… or a ‘fresher’ sandalwood? Anyone else get this? I enjoy the brighter evolution from the heavier sweetness of most of its wear.

I am very confused how people are smelling sweetness coming from this perfume. I smell oriental with a touch of mint. The mint must be the patchouli even though I really do smell wintergreen mints. I blind bought this because of all the good reviews on here. However, I believe I didn’t do enough research. I am 22 and believe this scent is way above my age range. I just swapped it but wanted to advise women my age to definitely test this before buying it!

very sweet floral (narcissus, ylang, rose, neroli, peach) with powdery elements (surprised iris and/or violet aren’t listed as notes), hint of vanilla in the top, patchouli (the sort of plastic kind), sandalwood and amber; a light nice fragrance but not earth shattering, great for the price

Probably got the reformulated version after reading the article on it by Marlen on Fragrantica. It’s nice. Pleasant. Smells like Fleurs d’Orlane by Orlane. Nothing revolutionary. Good as a room spray.

I love this fragrance, in fact, this is my second 100 ml bottle. Unfortunately, this second bottle does not last on me, so I’m thinking I might have a reformulated version. Has anybody had any luck with the ones purchased lately? Thanks!

    Amber peaches.
Although i keep on sniffing plums instead of peaches, i wonder why! maybe the pineapple, amber, & orange blossoms creates that plummy effect! so i would take the peaches out for now at least and go plum, tuberose, amber, orange blossoms, & pineapples. Raspberry is there quite clear after 5 minutes as it shoots quite higher than the plums! the ylang is wrongly voted, it’s there but not that dominant as it’s underneath the plums, tuberose, amber, raspberry, and the vetiver.
This is a fruitti with slightly earthy blend, not animalic as it’s earthy dusty. Interesting to be honest as it’s well blended, not much frutti, and not much earthy.

This was a hand-me-down from my sister (she’s into retro scents), her 100ml bottle was half full when I got it, and now I’m almost through with it. What can I say, I quite like it! I can describe this scent in a few words: fruity, tuberose, woody, warm, rich, powdery, very early 90’s. Should I call it a fruity-oriental tuberose scent? That’s what it is. The opening is harsh, but it settles into something warm and lovely. In terms of strength, it’s more tolerable than many powerhouses from the same era (for instance I can’t stand Amarige or Red Door), it’s not as loud as I had initially feared it would be. It’s very comforting actually. I wear this scent to bed and go to sleep cocooned in a cloud of Mackie. I think my mom wore a similar scent when I was little, so I associate this particular genre of perfumes with comfort and safety. Longevity is fantastic, the scent rubs off on my sheets and sticks around for days. I had Chloe Narcisse too and ultimately, I do prefer Narcisse as my 90’s powerhouse, it’s sweeter and I love the narcissus-apricot combo in that one.

I was 10 years old wandering through the fragrance department at Simpsons. I think this was the 1st perfume I ever tried, I still remember the sales lady dressed in all black very mod- she was leaning over the counter and smiling as she sprayed me. At first it was shocking, alien. Such a new world of smells. When the olfactory assault ended a beautiful fruit salad erupted- peaches, grapes things I seldom got to eat and had certainly never eaten together. It was magical & in my mind I morphed into a ‘real’ woman-a magazine woman- flaunting high cheekbones wearing a cut out bathing suit maybe a fancy black kimono, a scarf, some brightly coloured bangle bracelets hot pink lips geometric earrings and a floppy hat. Really ridiculous like. “Like a Prayer” and “Escapade” are playing somewhere in this vignette and I’m pretty sure I’m thinking I’m Madonna standing on a beach smoking a Virginia Slim or rushing off to a board meeting. Fantastic. Then the saleslady gave me a sample and I’d open it from time to time just to smell it. Even the box was fantastic all black with a beautiful fan on it, so quintessential 80’s.

Wait. Just wait for the dry down. At first, I thought it smelled a bit rotten/sweet. However, that went away after about 15 minutes. Whew. Ok. Now I like it!

This fragrance is, hands down, one of my all time “go-to” fragrances since the day it debuted in 1991. In fact, I’ve never been without it! The way the fruity top notes mingle with the heart notes of jasmine, honeysuckle & rose (these are the notes I pick up immediately, at least!) is amazing and lends itself to being a classicly beautiful fragrance. This scent makes you “feel good”…and ANY and EVERY time I wear it I get at least 3 compliments asking me what I was wearing, what it was called and where I could get it! AND..I’ve found that men are especially attracted to it..bonus there! Give “Mackie” a try…I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! I can’t afford Clive Christian so I’ll stick with my Mackie…I can have 10 bottles of Mackie and it’s still a third of the price of CC!

Fruity florientals are swiftly becoming my favourite olfactive family. Narcisse, Poison, and now Mackie– I’m obsessed.
This is exuberant, lush and tropical. Mackie is dominated by mouthwatering peach, raspberry and pineapple intermingling with warm amber and overripe, luscious ylang ylang & menthol-rich tuberose to create an aroma reminiscent of Juicy Fruit bubblegum (in the best way possible). As the fragrance wear progresses, the amber intensifies and radiates warmth and fleshy, sticky sweetness. This is gorgeous!

Smelled great in the bottle, however when I sprayed it it smelled of delicious mackerel. At the end of the day I don’t want to smell all day of mackerel.

Was at a restaurant, the waitress was wearing this one. Before I ask her what she was wearing because it does project… was ” Mmm that smell reminds me of the men’s fragrance Mont Blanc Individuel”. The fabric softener side of it I guess.

Funny story, at first I got this because it was only $5 knowing nothing about it..I sniffed without spraying and thought ” ugh! Amarige knock off” which I do not like.
But a few months later I sprayed some on a whim and I found it quite fun and pleasant. It alike a much sweeter original Chloe, I get yellow fruits, tuberose and powder. Sounds kind of odd but somehow it works together. Its a nice warm or slightly cool weather scent. Its been vaguely compared to Fracas and Truth o Dare but I haven’t smelled those to compare.
    For the price, why not?

One of my all time favorites!
I wore this fragrance in the early 90’s when it first came out and loved it. I hadn’t seen or heard about it in a long time. Recently, I was shopping online at Kohl’s and saw it. I was so happy! It is very affordable and I immediately bought a bottle.
I still love it! It is fruity, woody, and warm. I love the ylang ylang and amber notes. I agree with others that it is a powerful fragrance. A little goes a long way and you need to be careful on how much you apply. It’s best suited for the cooler months. I will wear it often this fall and winter.

  18. :

    3 out of 5

I just happened to buy a small bottle because the price was so great on a 30ml, and I was on a but of a fragrance spree.
I distinctly recall this fragrance back in the 90’s, and it was not my thing back then.
Not surprising, because this is a very confident, mature scent..and I was not that back then.
Fast forward to today…its a different story. Granted it is a special occasion, evening fragrance, and one likely best in the cooler months…if applied at just the right amount (less is more), I love it.
It is fruity and floral, but not sweet. And it has a nice spicy, ambery undertone that holds everything together for a long time.
Mackie was created in an era when big bold perfume wad the style, even during the daytime. However, given todays sugarbomb tastes, I think it is much more refined than most that are being pumped out today.
I am glaad i gave this one another chance, and will enjoy it this winter.

I am wearing this scent for the first time today. It would be a good winter fragrance because the juice is spicy. It is a clean smell. Its different than any perfume I’ve smelled. Its wonderful. It is warm and ambery like the colour of the juice. Oriental and soft once it settles. Love it.

This was a blind buy. Vintage? I’m game. Leather and pineapple? Yes please. The notes looked like a concoction I would absolutely adore.
One spray – one, and I was nearly knocked off my feet! This powdery concoction (I mostly get a musky powdery amber and overripe peach) is SO HEAVY that it overwhelmed and assaulted my nose. Until now, I’ve never had a perfume make me feel nauseous. 🙁
This is the first perfume I’ve had to scrub off and I’m quite sad about it.

I adore quality, long-lasting, intense perfumes.I really wanted to like “Mackie”.
I spray it on and only Ylang-ylang and white floral is what I get. Yuck.
The vanilla that everyone keeps on talking about, comes out after an hour or so, sits close to the skin and disappears after 5 minutes. Sad.
    Not for my skin.

  22. :

    I adore this!
When I first read about this fragrance, the thing that caught my eye was that people said it has a “Gucci Accenti vibe”. Accenti is my all time favorite, so I knew I have to try this one, and I’m so glad I did 😀
Nice flowery peach, that’s turning into a warm powdery scent, so comforting and beautiful, and the ylang-ylang really turnes it into something more special.
+ If you also have a sensitive nose to synthetic peach smell, try this one, it’s the most realistic peach scent ever :3

I wasn’t a huge fan of this before but I got suckered in by a ridiculously good price.
Well, after the first spray it was like “What have I done?!” and I immediately took it off with an unscented baby wipe.
It’s not completely gone but what’s left smells amazing!
Maybe this one’s going to be a spray and walk through, then wait kinda one…

This is 80s powerhouse of a fragrance-very in your face and small spray lasts a long time. On whether I like-eh, not so much.
Its floral oriental which is my favorite category but I felt like Mackie was bit spicy for my taste. You get hit with very strong florals, mixed with some spice and powdery note. Bit much for me. Although I will give Bob Mackie kudos for creating such a classic that can really withstand test of time.
PS I am not sure why some comparing it to Rapture by VS. To me, those two are not even slightly alike other than both are floral orientals and strong powerful fragrances

  25. :

    3 out of 5

The original Bob Mackie is rich, full bodied, thick, naturally sweet ripe fruit juices smoothly blended with deep intoxicating florals and rich sweet amber. Doesn’t smell “old school” or out dated at all. It’s a very uplifting, happy fragrance, NOT sultry sexy, just beautiful, delicious and enticing.
On my skin, peach is prominent at first, a ripe, tasty juicy peach at the peak of freshness. I feel as if I’ve bitten in to a perfect peach and drizzled the juice on my skin. Next, the naturally sweet florals appear, expertly mixed with fruits. Real amber anchors this scent, giving it extreme lasting power. The overall effect is naturally sweet, captivating, extremely long until you wash it off.
Projection is strong, loud at first, but calms down to moderate strength within an hour. After 12 hours, it wears close to skin.
Bob Mackie is a very affordable very high quality perfume. If you like fruity perfumes or fruity florals, you owe it to yourself to try Bob Mackie. Just remember to spray lightly, since this is a REAL TRUE perfume, not a synthetic, not watered down, so very little goes a long long way.

I was so excited when I found this at SDM. This weekend on the discount shelf. But it barely lasts an hour on my skin with just a hint of the warmer notes before ‘poof’ it’s gone

One of my Fragrantica friends surprised me with a bottle of this in a big gift box full of goodies recently, and I was pretty excited about it, as I’ve always been a bit curious about this perfume. The bottle & concept is so campy, and I certainly love a bit of camp.
I’m going to keep my review simple and vague, because I have the EA version which is surely a vague reinterpretation of whatever this scent used to be. All I need to say is that if you’ve ever used Alberto V05 Original shampoo and loved the scent, and wished you could find a perfume that smelled just like it, you owe it to yourself to grab a small bottle of Mackie, if only to spray in your hair after a shower.
I’ll probably never make it through my 100ml bottle, but I am glad that I have it! Mackie is just hilariously fun. Thanks, Josh! 🙂

Potent and head turning, I would definitely commend the sillage and longevity of this. Tuberose is prominent but the fruit combination gives it a slight “spicy” edge to make it different ( think spicy the way carnation acts) bottle is hopeless and the spray broke quite soon, had to decant the entire thing!

  29. :

I can’t decide if I like this or not. I used to dislike tuberose but I’ve happened to find a few scents that I like. I like that this isn’t gourmands and modern and that it has a powdery sweetness. Don’t like that it reminds me a bit of Tresor. I think it’s best to wear in autumn weather for me.

Fragrance buying can be tricky at first. No wonder so many shop by favorite celebrity or established name. Slowly, I learned to shop by notes and groups themselves. Take for example, ylang ylang. Kept seeing those banana peel looking things in fumes I loved. Therefore, thusly, this guy thought, Hey! why not get That one as a Primary note? Intro. Mackie by Bob Mackie. Added bonus is the decade it was crafted. The trends of perfume late 70’s to earliest of 90’s is bonus for me. Big and Perfumey! Was not disappointed. Bottle is a bit strange and modern art hard to stand but that reminds me of the time of fragrance genius from which it comes. I’m starting to wonder if there isn’t any scent that can’t be unisex.

Bob Mackie is a wild beast! I am talking the vintage version. So sometimes when I get a new vintage fragrance I take it in the basement and spray it in the wash tub to test and see if it’s rancid. I sprayed this one two days ago and you can still smell it in the entire basement.
This is nasal napalm. If you make the mistake of direct skin contact be for warned it will stay with you for several days, even after a washing. This is one of those scents that I wish Mackie would create a new age flanker that is half the potency with a tad more modern vibe. So if you do spray the vintage directly on your skin, in about 3-4 hours when it does decide to calm itself wow… it’s lovely. But I don’t have patience to handle the wait. Another option is to get the vintage and water it down with perfumers alcohol. But again I am not quite that patient
    10 in longevity
    10 in silage
    10 in quality

This was a huge surprise for me. It’s a powdery sweet floral that still maintains enough of an edge to make it interesting. For me this smells like the past–not in a bad or dated way. It’s like nostalgia in a bottle. I think of the 80s or very early 90s–off-the-shoulder tops, curly hair and chunky bracelets. This has surprising projection and longevity. Recommended.

EDT – A well-blended floral fruity (not superficially sweet or juicy) scent. Very sensuous and grownup but light and elegant. Decent long-lasting power and moderate projection.

Mackie was my go-to frag in the late nineties when I was out on the prowl. When I wore it, my state of mind was instantly transformed. I morphed into a sultry bombshell… a maneater. I never, ever wore it during any other time except the weekends, and not because it simply wasn’t a day time frag, but because of how it changed my mood and persona (work is no place for the inner vixen). That is how transformative Mackie is, and I imagine it does much the same for those who wear and love it. Just as others have mentioned, yes, the longevity of Mackie was off the charts, it lingered on me and my clothes for ages.
Even all of these years later, it somehow smells relevant and not at all dated. I last wore it a couple years ago, garnering so many compliments from those around me. Women (mostly Millennials too young to remember the nineties) were especially intrigued, almost demanding I tell them what I was wearing. That says something about this fragrance: If it appeals to this generation, then it’s a classic, at least in my eyes.

Oh. My. Word. I think I have found the new love of my life! Ralph Lauren’s Safari has been (one of) my signature scent for as long as I can remember. I know Mackie doesn’t smell exactly like Safari, but there must be something in common because my soul produces the same reaction to the first spray of either scent. The initial blast of Mackie’s earthy spices seduces me instantly and envelops me in a warm embrace…an unknown, long awaited love affair has now begun with this new-to-me classic. After the blast, I’m luxuriating in the most warm and sensual blend of florals – not sweet, but truly floral like actual flowers to my nose – and spices that take their time to develop. I can’t believe the incredible longevity and good sillage! That is rare on my skin. I don’t pick up on the fruity notes, but that is OK. It is perfect as it is. Also, although I love patchouli, it has a tendency to make me cough…not here. As the base notes rise up, it is nothing but pure bliss. I just want to curl up and let this beautiful cloud envelop me completely for hours! What a dream to hibernate with this incredible juice! How did I live this long without finding this gem before now? I have no idea. But I can tell you I will NEVER be without it again if I can possibly help it.
ETA: I just realized that this beauty also reminds me a lot of pre-reformulated EA Red Door…which is the other of my two signature scents. Interesting that this reminds me of the best of both frags…no wonder I’m in love!

I threw this in my online shopping cart along with a couple of other fragrances I have had my heart set on, plus the reviews looked intriguing. I sprayed my wrists and upper forearms and at first I was OH GOD A STINKY 80’S FLORAL BOMB…but that first loud bang settled quickly into a kickass soft peachy floral, a little pineapple, a little amber, and a patchouli drydown. It’s wonderful. After getting a little bored of the current crop of fruity florals I’m enjoying throwback scents. This is a keeper.

I’ve already reviewed this but since I’ve just applied some again, I had to brag about how a ghastly bottle with an even ghastlier synthetic orange coloured juice can produce such pleasure! This is not a modern fragrance, but it’s not a granny’s handbag either. This is for women. Do sample it if you can. Yummy.

I purchased a bottle of bob Mackie considering all the positive reviews. Honestly. the perfume does smell expensive and is way ahead of it’s time. This scent is in a class of it’s own. I’m likely to purchase another bottle. The juice inside has made me overlook the cheap looking bottle.
Top notes are divine. I want it to last forever. The base notes kicks in really fast. Unfortunately the scent doesn’t really last on me. However I have observed that perfumes get stronger after the first couple of sprays. Fingers crossed, I’m hoping this does. Nonetheless that hasn’t put me off. Overtime I will leave an update.
Update: I have been wearing bob Mackie for a couple of days. After 2 hours the fragrance dissipates. Such a shame. I must have the reformulated version.

Where do I begin! This scent is bold and strong but in a good way…It is definitely for a lady who demands attention as she enters a room…If a man does not look up and notice you then he has lost all sense of smell. Even though it is heavy and earthy, it is delicate at the same time. I would recommend applying in very light sprays or one full spray in a strategic location. The lasting power is phenomenal!!! ALL DAY FOR SEVERAL DAYS! I was given a sample vial about 18 years ago and have never looked back. I went a few years without it in my collection, but never again…When you wear this, be prepare for all eyes and noses to be on you. You may be wearing a $100 outfit but you will feel as if it cost $1000…

Mackie is like a lady.. A lady who smokes, curses, shows her cleavage without shame, plays poker, drinks whiskey shots and does not care. But she is one of the most honest and hard loving ladies you know. That is how it made me feel.
I got this this morning and put it on my right wrist and immediately she sucker punched me in the face BAM. It was a harsh opening I was not prepared for. And I prayed for a full five minutes for the pain to just end or let me die. And ever so slowly it started to ease up, and after an hour or so I started to have smell the spice and the smoke over the “in your face” florals and syrupy sweetness. Do I like it, yes, do I love it, a little, she is a powerful woman and demands respect. By that I mean, use caution applying this potion. A tiny bit will go a long, long way. Seven hours later and after a long day I can still smell it very strongly. Not unpleasant, but in your face any way. Like the lady I described above. You will love to hang out with her but you better rest well, eat well and plan for a long rock ripping night with her. She isn’t laying down until she gets good and ready.
Ok, many hours later and this lady/perfume is still on me, maybe even in me… I think I can actually taste it, like I swiped a piece of incense out of the church thurible and hid my sin in my mouth. Be VERY careful about how much of this you put on. She will toss you on your head and hold you down with a size 9 stiletto pinned against your neck.
18 hours and still smoldering… LOL Getting ready for a shower and smelled my arm. Yes, she is still there like a fire that won’t die. You can’t see any smoke or flames but if you stir the ashes you are going to find coals. From now on I am going to spray this on something and then dab it in a VERY TINY amount on me. The bottle sprays it out way too profusely.

I bought Bob Mackie only trusting the opinions of fragranticans. I live in Italy so I ordered it on line. I bought it for a song. The bottle is simple and cheap. I can’t say the same thing for the juice inside. What a beautiful discovery. Very floral, loud and opulent. I like floral scent but they must be very impressive. I like fragrance with big personality, fragrance that leave a sign in the memory. There is tuberose, flower that I like at the right doses. In Bob Mackie the flowers are so well blended that the result is not screeching and cloying. I can add that it’s not a fragrance on which you can say ” I already smelled it somewhere or It remembers me something”. I love Amarige but really I can’t say that Bob Mackie is similar. They simply contains similar notes but they are substantially different. I love it.

    A loud, proud BEAUTY.
Thanks to a fellow fragrantican, I discovered Mackie about 3 years ago. She’s everything I’ve ever wanted and then some. And yet….I must confess there are moments when I wonder if Mackie is truly for me. Usually within 30 minutes of first applying, in fact! That first onslaught of sweetness gives me pause – before the beauty sets in.
Yes, she’s loud. That’s what the opening is all about. Even though the tuberose is bold enough to occasionally remind me of Red Door, there is substantially more going on in Mackie. She’s grounded in a way that Red Door and other 80’s florientals ( no matter how unique ) can’t quite manage. And the depth of Mackie’s drydown is the reason she’s so memorably beautiful.
For one thing, her base notes last a gratifyingly long time. And they’re amazing! Patchouli extends and blends the greens, fruits, flowers, and musk into a terrific finale. One would have to be curmudgeonly indeed not to enjoy Mackie on someone else, if not oneself. She manages the frothy joie de vivre of Red Door with substantially more sophistication. But not TOO much. 😉 Like a Bob Mackie gown, Mackie is the star of the show and not shy about it.
Five Stars…. enjoy with caution or bravado, at your own risk. ( In other words, a little dab’l do ya! )

this has to be the most longest lasting perfume ive ever had, I sprayed it on my robe and I could still smell it after 3 washes! now that’s long lasting I love those type of frags value for yr money, im talking here of the original Mackie not new one, I love it sooooooo, on me it starts off with this deep raspberry syrupy liqueur and a little jasmine comes in soon after, drydown is like another review mentioned a jammy rose honey scent, Ive never come across another perfume like this, its original in that way and you stand out with it on cos its so different and intoxicating, I cant stop sniffing myself when I wear this just gorgeous

I LOVE it! Bought it based on the reviews here. Many of you mention the strong opening and that you should wait the middle notes to settle in before exiting the house, which takes a while. Well, the strong opening only lasts a couple of minutes on me, and the perfume reaches its’ base notes pretty fast. Which unfortunately also means that the scent disappares quite quickly on me. Such a shame, because it intoxicates me, and I want to smell it constantly!
Mackie is really something special, and I am so glad I found this little gem. It’s sweet in a really good way, playful and sooo well blended! I think we just started a life long relationship, pal :)Just have to keep you in my purse for reapplication during these long late nights hours. I can live with that.

I’ve reviewed Mackie at least once…maybe twice before. I adore this scent. It’s funny how our perspectives can change on a scent..we can view it differently over time with the addition of new scent experiences in our lives.I just read another reviewer compare it to Amarige and at first, I thought..”no”. After a few minutes though, I definitely smell the comparison. It’s softer, more subdued..a tad less sparkly. Other reviewers also say they smell pink bubblegum and I have to completely agree. Those dusty, pink sticks of gum that we dug out of our mother’s purses back in the day. While thinking on that comparison it reminded me of another of my favorites that I recently had the pleasure of finally purchasing….Vivienne Westwood’s Boudoir. I have them ( Mackie and Boudoir)on side by side at the moment and they are not twins but relatives for sure. I would say that Mackie is like the offspring of Amarige and Boudoir. What a beautiful child they make!

I just blind bought this because it was $4.
If Id only checked fragrantica…tuberose = NO for me. Its a rather nice scent IF you like tuberose, I can see why people appreciate it but it gives me a headache. Full bottle if anybody wants to swap message me.

Mackie is almost a dead ringer for Amarige on my skin-only not quite as potent. I get a colorful tutti-frutti like melange that is jubilant, sweet and fruity. No aldehydes, no hairspray or worse yet no bug spray as some have suggested.
I find it difficult to associate this fragrance with Makie’s fashion sensibility. I always found his look to lean in towards matronly. Too much Vegas in the 1970’s The clothes worn by the mother of the bride hoping to look younger by virtue of becoming more adventurous with shiny fabrics and bold patterns but nevertheless slipping uncannily into that undesirable fashion category steriotype: women of “a certain age”. Fashion-wise, a place not one of us knowingly would want to go out of our way with our hard earned money.
I have been wearing Makie for about an hour, and I am liking it more and more. It’s lighthearted, sweet and bubbly like a nice Asti Spumante. It is not too anything, moderate in every way. It is soft on sillage and because of the quality of the sweet accord, I think it would be great for any age group. As long as you are not of the unfortunate who get the aldehydic explosion.
Would I again? Yes, if I am successful in downscaling my fragrance library to only my soul sisters and I come across it in my travels. Not as loud as Amarige, and less synthetic to my nose. That just reinforces my belief that pricetag does not guarantee greatness. And you can’t beat the price..

My first review, here goes… This is an interesting scent. As many people have said here, it has a touch of hairspray, gum (Juicyfruit?)and the slight smell of a 1970’s mother’s purse. Starts out a bit strong and then mellows into something akin to the cloud left behind after the woman wearing Gorgio walks by. Womanly, playful, a little sexy and fun. A great scent that adapts differently to each wearer. If you try it and it isn’t for you, it shouldn’t take long to find a grateful friend who’ll wear it happily!

Bubblegum! That’s what this reminds me of. Bubblegum and a slight hint of hairspray and cigarettes. I know what you’re thinking, I should hate it, but oddly enough I love it!
Not for everyday wear, but perfect for those, “I want something different” kinda days.
Bought blind out of curiosity after reading all the reviews. Glad I did.
    7/10.

It was a blind buy, after reading all the reviews I was so curious, that I just had to HAVE it. After first spritz I was very disappointed in how sweet and peachy it was. I thought I will give it away but after a while I smelt something really unique. Fortunately that peach notes fade fairly quickly on me and I’m left with flowers, musk and something earthy I can’t quite put my finger on it but I enjoy it a lot. It smells even better on my clothes.

Iconic 80s tuberose that you love if you were there to remember it – even if you don’t intend to love it at first. At first it’s a lot of things at once: pineapple, flowers, and woods. Then, rather than settling into a progression of notes, it settles into a personality. If you imagine that Amarige got a spiral wrap perm, blew it out with a third of a bottle of hairspray, then went out in a satiny floral print dress with shoulder pads and had a good time in a place filled with cigarette smoke and Sade, finally getting home in the early hours of the morning and kicking off the 4-inch pumps, you’d get an idea of the personality this owns.
It’s got just enough citrus and woods that a VERY secure metro male could wear it on Saturday.
