The bottle is gorgeous. It is a modern version of a victorian crystal bottle. So the fragrance. A modernized classic cologne.
Atemporal. Nostalgic. Fresh poudre. “Ferny”. So elegant.

For all the Guys who miss Signoricci, I would definately recommend this as a suitable replacement.
The blend of the spices are quite similar to Signoricci, the citrus in this is not as dominant as in Signoricci, and I do not get any tobacco note in this.
Very good for evening wear, women happen to like this very much. Neither this or Signoricci are linear fragrances but they develop very nice and calm.
This fragrance does not speak loud and clear, it speaks with a softspicy delicious alluring voice through-out the drydown.
A skillfully crafted perfume creation, that is definately worth the substantial amount of money that it costs.

I got the extrait de parfum version of this fragrance in an entirely metallic gold coated bottle from Saks Fifth Avenue back in the 90’s. I remembered it as a very rich (both in sense of smell and money) spicy floral woody fragrance that captured my, as well as many of my friends’, hearts. It was sort of formal and more suitable for the evenings. Although I am not able to describe exactly how this fragrance smells now, I certainly have a spot in my brain that stored all my memories with it and that makes me want to find another bottle all the time.
