A feminine floral fragrance created with Peony bud, frankincense, rose and wood notes (not sure what wood)
These four notes dance around each other delightfully.
The peony is fresh, the frankincense clear, crisp perhaps even citrus (there is no smoke in this). The rose is full blooming, warm and slightly fruity, the wood note on the green side.
This last 8 hours or so, and can linger longer on fabric. All 4 notes can be recognised from beginning to end without seeming linear.
Sillage on me close to moderate.
A fragrance that has been woefully marketed. Misnamed? not at all sultry, I’d describe it as flirty.
It’s not a perfume to blow anyone’s mind, it’s an old concept that manages to be as youthful as spring (makes me think of the lovely Leslie Caron )

Yes! How funny! It is a lovely feminine perfume, very pretty rose and peony, with a lovely base of wood and incense. Simple, but very strong and long lasting. I love it.
