Description

Lolita Lempicka fragrance is based on licorice. Beautiful anise note is a perfect match to licorice and violet. The intensive green ivy note is fresh and optimistic. The almond is in harmony with woodsy iris and sweet vanilla, united with heliotrope and Tonka. It was created in 1997.

The nose behind this fragrance is Annick Menardo.

HAD TO post a second review about this. IT IS MAGICAL. I’m not really good at identifying what notes are in the perfume, but all I can say is that it’s the most beautiful floral + sweet combination I have ever smelt! And it has a unique twist to it – maybe that’s the anise everyone is talking about?
Everyone needs to buy this, it’s just AMAZING. I can’t imagine anyone disliking this perfume (but then again everyone says that about their fav perfume lol). I like the longevity and sillage too! It just transports you to heaven.

The smoky smells of autumn and cooler nights have me thinking about the dewy, amaretto-stardust-vapor of “Lolita Lempicka” again.
If you’re someone who likes the sweet smell of nighttime dew on pines and leathery, fallen leaves and a cup of herbal tea and candy corn and licorice under the stars (or a hint of Jagermeister in the Halloween party punch for grown ups, only), this might be an exciting slam dunk for you.

First of all the bottle is beautiful. But the perfume is not what I was expecting. Because, of course, the new sweet-gourmand perfumes on the market are setting a trend and I feel I am not used to this kind of smell. For the moment this scent is just violet to me. I can^t fell anything but violet. Is is not bad but I hope for more.

I am loving this one. So romantic and girly but not “little-girly.” Another frag I would save for cooler weather or else you risk smelling like children’s cough syrup.
On opening: beautiful violet and anise (slightly spicy sweetness).
The dry-down turns into powdery cherries pretty quickly but it is gorgeous and feminine. Not cloying at all.
For me, the base is vanilla, Tonka beans, and a lingering cherry. I have yet to pick up the toffee and I don’t detect much licorice.
I wore this to church yesterday. I am wearing the dress I wore to church yesterday at work today and I get some whiffs of powdery cherry vanilla when I move. Sillage is very close to the skin and longevity is pretty good, obviously if I can still pick it up the next day.
Again, my gourmand-loving husband loves this one. If you don’t like cherries, I would steer clear.
And I simply adore the bottle!

Tried this one gazillion times and never got around to buying it. I just cannot form an opinion about this one.
It meets my first standard – it levels the sweetness with flowery and fresh musky notes. It has the notes I adore – iris, violet, cherries, vanilla. But overall do I like it? Sometimes it smells like I imagine the angels smell. And then sometimes it smells like some basic teeny bopper. Which one is it? Maybe I should just buy it and decide once and for all.

Probably my favourite perfume! Was a blind buy for me but I’m so glad I did it!
So fresh but yet kind of sweet – has a little bit of spice too. I think this one works best on my hair for some reason – this way I get the best longevity and sillage. I also noticed that this one stays long on knitted clothes. Must buy if you like patchouli! It smells similar to Angel Mugler but better (according to me). I think angel causes a headache for the first hour or so.

This is SO beautiful. I love this from the bottom of my heart.
That licorice is very playful and warm. The vanilla smells just as much as to make you feel good without intoxicating.
It is best for cold weather and I always feel like putting a coat on me when applying this perfume.
The silage it’s also something good. Being nor too big nor too small, it makes me feel like it’s a secret scent felt only by me.
HOWEVER….. the persistence of the perfume is…. awful. Even if I spray 5-6 times, the perfume doesn’t persist more than 3 hours on me. Such a shame. The only down thumb of this perfume 🙁

I blind bought this, absolutely sure that I would love it, judging by the notes. I was so disappointed. You’d think I would have learned my lesson with blind buys by now, but no lol. I tried to like it, but just couldn’t. I don’t get any of the yummy notes such as vanilla, praline, or cherry. In fact, all I could detect on my skin was licorice, vetiver, florals, and musk. This fragrance hates me. So sad. However, I haven’t given up hope on Lolita Lempicka, as there are a couple other fragrances I’d love to sample!

If this, the original LL edp, was discontinued and replaced by LL Le Premier Parfum why do I see bottles of original LL available with batch codes from 2017? I don’t imagine they would be counterfeited due to price point and detailing on bottles. I know they’ve supposedly switched to bottles without the cute stem sprayer, but I haven’t seen those around, just the original packaging. I’m so confused.

A watered down licorice and cherry in equal parts. Not impressed, actually dissapointed. I expected some oomph from reading rhe reviews. My opinion is that this is substed to 8-16 years old. But i would like to see a grown up version of it with more depth and “crunchyness”.

An impromptu walk through a grove, summer midnight air, sweet, herbal and crisp, crushed purplish florals, platonic propensities, Marabou licorice chocolate melting inside of pockets, the hookah of the smoking caterpillar, INTP, INFJ types, dreaming of 10 impossible things before breakfast, ivy vignettes framing a fairytale book, violet pastilles and glossy maraschino cherries with stem, what Alice smelled like at the other side of the looking-glass. Luna Lovegood. This perfume must never die.

To me, it is straight up powdery cherries. I don’t get any licorice at all. I think this is a beautiful perfume and I feel beautiful wearing it. It’s the scent a dark fairy would leave behind her in a forest.

This perfume reminds me of what your bag of Halloween candy smells like. It’s slightly sweet, slightly medicinal, but all in a very good way. It’s mysterious and pretty at the same time. I feel like this will be my signature scent for October.

Perhaps it’s that I bought them in the same purchase, perhaps it’s that Annick Menardo is involved…but I think LL has a definite rubbery, synthetic vibe similar to what’s right at the top of Bvlgari Black. I’m into it.
This one reminds me of how a combination apothecary-candy-store would smell: sweet, medicinal, comforting. Defintely a cold-weather fragrance; can already tell this will be great for dreary days with the bright and happy cherry lingering in the middle. The dry-down leaves a pleasant sweet-spicy cloud of powder hanging around me.
The design of the atomizer on this one is so cool! Upon first glance, I thought I’d be removing a cap that includes the stem of the apple, but there is a very discreet, teeny-tiny opening right in the delicate stem itself. I wish more perfumers/designers had the sense of humor and whimsy that this betrays.
[Nota bene: FragranceNet is clearancing this one right now and you can score a 3.4 oz tester for ~20 USD.]

I was underwhelmed by this one. I saw in a few places referenced as comparable to Liquid by HC,which was my signature until discontinued. The initial was very medicinal. The dry down was still slightly medicinal with a touch of floral. Family asked if I bought new air freshener. Enjoyed the perfume when others were wearing it. Guess it just doesn’t work with my chemistry. Beautiful bottle, the atomizer in the stem is adorable. I see this in my niece’s future.

I bought a tester of this as I have not explored this brand, and why not start with one of the first, if not the first ? anyhow without looking at the notes, the first notes I get are violets, musk and sweet candied red cherries the ones you decorate biscuits with. Luscious, sweet and alive, puts me instantly in a good mood. Taking a long whiff for a second it reminds me of Deci Dela Nina Ricci, such an uplifting perfume. The dry down then maintains a musky sweet powdery note and remains that way. Overall a lovely perfume with personality but would not buy a full bottle as I prefer the beginning notes with the exuberant cherry notes.

Nostalgia in a bottle. Mine is from 2001, and it will always be a love as I bought it on a shopping trip to Paris in the Spring of 2002. I even found a pair of Lolita Lempicka shoes in a second hand store and brought those back too.
I have not worn Lolita in years leading up to today, but I still respect its uniqueness. For my taste it starts off a bit too sweet, with licorice taking the dominant role. I love the drydown, where other notes, predominantly florals come out: violet and iris. Vanilla and a whole lot of sweetness holds it all together. But rather than going in the direction of food, this gourmand leans toward exotic and spicy.
Over the years my taste has changed, but I’ll never part with it. It represents a more carefree me, and I will always think of my three girlfriends and me touring around Paris.

Winter + Fall scent, when I wear this in warm weather I smell coffee, but in colder weather this is perfect, I hated this scent when I was a teenager it just smelled like baby powder to me, but now I can smell the delicious licorice and cherry, so fizzy yet sweet, woods all over, the bottle is perfect for this imagine an enchanted forest with pixies and their dust smells like this! Magical, unique and always receive compliments, The violets add a fresh powdery note while the anise compliments the sweet notes like the vanilla! Lasts 8+ and sillage is very noticeable.

This is a clown’s face. You know how you can look at a clown and it’s all happy and gay? And t h e n….creepiness seeps in. It becomes dark, and you feel the chill of loneliness set in, and you become almost afraid.
That’s THIS perfume! It’s not scary! But it changes. It becomes deeper, darker, the gay music leaves the scene, and the most beautiful dark, almost ghostly figure appears. You end up in a trance, and love where your at even though it leaves you feeling a tiny bit frightful.
I think…if you love any one of these perfumes, you’ll like them all. They all resemble each other. At first sniff, with your eyes closed, you’ll know…it’s Lolita Lempicka! But each is different enough to warrant trying every one of them.
I’ve always been afraid of the licorice in this. I’ve had perfumes where all I could smell was the darkest black licorice possible. I Didn’t care for them so much. I wonder if many others get that same licorice smell from this…but I sure don’t. I love all my bottles of Lolita Lempicka, well…the perfume inside them also! lol
These are all perfect and girly to me. This one turning mysterious! oooo la la I’m loving this. It’s ME! 🙂

I wore and loved Lolita Lempicka for several years and used up several bottles. I still find it beautiful but I needed to give it a break for awhile, as it was too wrapped up with memories of an abusive relationship. Perhaps if enough time passes, I will be able to wear it again (maybe layered with something) and form new memories. It’s funny how I hate the taste of licorice but love the smell of Lolita Lempicka. When first sprayed, it’s bitter, almost medicinal with the licorice, tonka bean and cherry accords. As it wears it becomes sweeter, more vanilla and softer, fresher with powdery violets. Like the nicest baby powder in the world, a talc for the bottoms of baby sprites. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous, one of the best I have ever seen. The sillage on this is pretty grand and I admit that I used to overspray on purpose to annoy my ex’s friends. I’ve never tried any of the flankers for this but perhaps I should because I really loved this one and the flankers also have gorgeous bottles.

The first time I tried this, I thought it was far too sweet and scrubbed it off immediately. Only after reading the Turin review did I go back and give it a second chance and I’m really glad I did. It is sweet, but it’s also complicated and dark. The ivy adds a brilliantly odd, gothic note which stops it from being too gourmande, and although the Cherry note can be a bit too sweet for some, it reminds me of something from childhood which gives it a fairy tale aura. There is also a burnt note akin to tar, possibly from the ivy, which gives it a wintry feel. It’s not one I wear every day, but it is lovely in cooler weather and envelopes you like a cashmere scarf. Very good value.

Nice scent, sweet, a bit dark and sexy. I do not know why I once thought he was similar to Angel. Now I see that it has little to do with it except that it may be in a similar style.
I like it very much, but I also feel on the bones that it’s “not my” smell. I do not know why anyway, because it’s the way I like it. It is very durable, in contrast to, for example, Alchim, and I appreciate durability in perfumes.
The bottle is simply gorgeous, I love both simple and miniature bottles, as well as those baroque, overloaded and happy, like this one.

Exceptional creation.I have never smelled a fragrance so unique as Lolita Lempicka, besides Angel. The real queen of gourmands.Forget Mini Sexy, there’s no dupe for Lolita.Violet, anise, licorice and cherry are most prominent and so well blended with other notes.Indeed smells like an enchanted fairytale forest. My mother used to wear Lolita back when it first came out,and now I got myself a 100 ml bottle, since it’s a must have. 🙂

Lolita Lempicka is a very interesting perfume. I place it in my ‘love’ category but I do have to be careful with this one as it can become too much in the heat.
Definitely get the sweet licorice notes and it is powdery which can be sickening when oversprayed. Only need a couple sprays and it lasts me the entire day and gets compliments.
I definitely recommend this in cool weather conditions. I lightly sprayed this in the morning one day and headed to the gym late in the evening. This perfume is veryyyy strong when you sweat, I needed to wash it off because the projection was insane. This perfume does best in cool, crisp conditions. Don’t wear in the heat or if sweaty because it will come alive in an overpowering way.
Aside from the negatives with heat, I adore the uniqueness and enchanting scent of Lolita Lempicka. The bottle is adorable as well.

I bought this blind recently, based on the “Anise” comments id read in the reviews here. I don’t get any anise at all.The only thing I get from the perfume is “Cherry” … sweet plastic cherry. Glace Cherry. Cherry Cola. Cherry Chap Stick. To me and on my skin.. its just cherry.
But that’s not a bad thing. It smells way different to any other fragrance I own and I’m happy with that.

When Vanilla & Anise by Jo Malone has been discontinued, I think what perfume that I can detect the anise note like that. For 2 years, I finally recall the early fragrance that I had it and used up, Lolita Lempicka.
LOLITA LEMPICKA edp. (the original version) is the perfume with sweet and spicy notes that I loved when I was younger. Then I find it again and now I can confidently say that I really love it. It is very lucky for me, because the perfume is still available in Thailand.

Funny, in my early days I would have love this!
Back then when I was into violet flowers like heliotrope, iris etc. I get mostly violet in this one. A suggared up violet. Soft, dusty and quiet. This is a classy teen scent for me. I would’ve purchased it for the bottle only but sadly violet flowers are not doing it for me anymore.

This stuff and my chemistry hate each other! As I sprayed it on my wrist, I immediately gagged! I almost vomited. It is horrible. I didn’t smell any of the notes just a pissy-powdery monstruosity! I wore it for 3 entire hours to “give it a chance” but I simply had to wash it off and it still stayed on my skin! Because of this fact, I will NEVER try any lolita lempicka scents….I am traumatized! Eww.

In the dark interim between which my beloved Hard Candy Liquid was discontinued, but before bottles started popping up on eBay, Lolita Lempicka’s eponymous fragrance was the most frequently suggested replacement. I can’t call it an exact replica, but it is the closest thing I’ve found to a worthy successor.
The main difference is that the anise note in HC stays strong from start to finish, whereas LL mellows out a bit more. LL also uses cherry as its fruity focus instead of pear, making the entire experience a touch sweeter. I sprayed LL on one wrist and HC on the other this morning, and the HC side definitely has a more powerful and interesting dry down.
But this is a Lolita Lempicka review, not a Hard Candy comparison! Lolita is a true beauty in her own right, a sassy surprise in a world of oppressively saccharine young women’s fragrances. All of her flankers are fun, too. I love the aesthetic of using the same bottle, but slightly tweaked, for each variation.
What else can I say? Lolita looks cute, smells great, and works for women of all ages. This is a cult classic for good reason!

I’d call this “spicy for beginners”.
I like it and perceive it as casual that can be dressed up or wear it on a day when you just want to lay around the house in comfort clothes.
When it sattles a bit, all the magic begins.
    I’ll repurchase this one:)

I got this for the anise and licorice notes which I love in perfume. And maybe the bottle had a bit to do with the acquisition as well, it’s very pretty (Plus I heard they are repackaging in angular bottles and wanted to get the original while I could). This to me, is a dark sweet heavy scent with some spiciness due to the anise I’m guessing. Long lasting with vanilla on the dry down. Brings to mind cool grassy areas underneath dense trees…I’m quite taken with this one.

Love this fragrance, as one reviewer said it smells like a fairytale. The licorice and floral play together very well. Sillage is pretty good. Longevity excellent I can smell it on me the next morning.
I did get rid of my first bottle, dumb move. Repurchased it again, lost it in my move went out and bought a new bottle off of zulily found lost bottle. Now I have two…so worth having two. This is what I reach for the most and if I’m not sure what fragrance mood I’m in. Always bring a smile to my face. Recommended!

A delightful fragrance that is softly spicy, sweet, and powdery. I wasn’t sure how I would like licorice in a fragrance but this is great! Licorice and violet are the strongest notes at first. Then it’s mostly cherry and vanilla with chocolate in the very end. A terrific blind buy!

The scent of the bottle that I recently received had already turned 🙁 It just has a SOUR and MUSTY smell, and that was it. Batch code is 6K103A. I am really disappointed that the quality of it went bad that soon.

It’s like a fairytale! A whimsical fragrance. Sweet, powdery floral-woody notes. Not cloyingly sweet at first spritz, dries down to a mixture of violets and iris with hints of cherry and licorice. Last note that lingers would be vanilla. Longevity is just around four to five hours max.

My all time favorite by Lolita Lempicka.
I discovered this scent quite late (when I was 29) while visiting a friend in Paris in fall. A lady in a department store sprayed it on a silk ribbon for me and after a day it was clear I had to have it.
Doesn’t matter if in cold wet Parisian fall weather or in the humid Mumbai heat, this smells just divine on me until I take a shower. It’s a scent my nose doesn’t get ‘used to’ over the day. I keep getting whiffs of it as long as I wear it.
For a lack of a better word, I like to call it ‘fluffy’.
It is sweet but not headache inducing. It is feminine and girly, but I still feel comfortable wearing it at 34. There is a cozy quality to it. It does have a lot of gourmand notes, but the violet gives it a fresh and non-edible quality at the same time.
On my skin the licorice, cherry and violet are most detectable, though I have to say, it is not a kind of fragrance that has one note jump at you specifically (at least not on me). It is just a really nice, unique and recognizable blend.
Also, every time I wear it at least for a second it sends me back to that lovely, even if rainy, visit to Paris.
Really hope this won’t get discontinue completely (like seemingly quite a few of the LL fragrances).

Love the opening with the sweet licorice and anise. However, the dry down is awful on me. The softness of the sweetness goes away, leaving earth, dirt, mould and moist cellar. Too bad, not many licorice ones out there. I’ll stick to Diesel Loverdose for my sweet licorice vanilla cravings.

A surrealist interpretation of a forest-bound candy shop that only sells licorice and violet flavoured candies set in one of those Jean Cocteau fairytale movies where the trees are glittering, ivy is climbing, and everything is half-obscured by a mysterious twinkling haze. The shop isn’t alone though, it is attended by the Hansel and Gretel witch, only now she’s the good guy and she’s called their dad to come and pick them up after they rampaged through all the sweets. The dad’s cherry pipe tobacco mixes in with the licorice-violet candy sweetness, the dark forest air, the misty fog and a few woodland blooms Titania had picked and put on a vase when she stopped by. Everytime I smell this fragrance it swirls me into a dream. Hope they won’t reformulate anymore and leave it unrecognizable like so many other classics.

I like this LL apple. Usually i worried apple shaped bottle always contains very girly, sugary water. This is not the case. It’s soft spicy yes, just well balanced. Mysterious and crisp. Not heavy at all. Longevity is fine and sillage is kind of soft. This bottle is refined, with a fairy image which just match with the perfume’s character. Nice!

Years ago I fall in love with this fragrance. It was in 2006-2007 I think. I remember it smelled very sweet, but not artificial. My friend just buy one and I sprayed it on my wrist but it’s not the scent I remember. It smell like cheap synthetic licorice and powder:(

  42. :

(EDIT: Oh god, I must really love this stuff; intoxicating, sultry, witchy potion of dreams! I went and bought 3 flankers, all of which I love. Clearly, that liquorice accord has cast a spell on me and stolen both my heart and this month’s perfume budget!)
I never knew this perfume existed before I tried it a couple of months ago – now, I really can’t get enough of it. I love liquorice notes, and this liquorice with anise is delicious, edible and has that lovely bitter bite that real liquorice has. There are powdery, woody florals – I mainly detect a deep, rich iris and a clean, floating violet. There is also the unmistakeable scent of fragrant soil in a forest – this must be the ivy.
The different notes come in across the duration of wear – liquorice and anise first, then powder floral, then green and earthy – and the sillage fades significantly after the first blast of liquorice. It lasts quite a long time, especially on fabric, but the sillage is fairly minimal after the first half hour; this is when it is soft woods and ivy, and is perfectly office friendly at this point. I love it for daytime and will now always have a bottle on the go.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

The positives are the beautiful bottle and the overpowering projection. The negatives are it smells boozy and synthetic sweet, I detect predominantly licorice and aniseed, I do detect the ivy which gives it a somewhat earthy scent, but overall this fragrance is far too synthetically sweet for my taste. It is too synthetic and smells juvenile as a result and has no sexiness of mystery for me, it is just synthetic and in your face. I did once think it had a spicy mysterious but I was mistaken a combination of play dough and licorice for spice. I do own a 30ml bottle but I rarely ever reach for it and when I do its out of guilt for never spraying it. I don’t like the way it smells on my skin up close it smells very sweet but also play doughy. It has no freshness, depth or sexiness for me. I just find it synthetic and bland. I have tried to like this one, but I have to be honest it’s a struggle getting through my 30 ml bottle and I would never repurchase this one. It’s headache inducing and not refreshing at all so sadly I can’t even wear it for the gym. On the plus side the sillage is profound if you enjoy the scent itself.

Surprised more people don’t mention the rubber and vanilla, very similar to Bulgari Black. Surprise, when I looked up the perfumer, she is the creator of both of these scents.
This is an instant classic and also a love it or hate it perfume. Easy to overdose on but suitable for most ages, occasions and times of day. Finally bought a bottle years after having smelled it out of fear it might be discontinued or refomulated.

As a great lover of anise, I became obsessed with Lolita Lempicka last autumn. Its magical, woody smell envelops me in an aura of warmth and comfort. The sweetness is just strong enough to remind me of liquorice candy, but not so sweet that it loses its elegance and sophistication.
For a few months, I wore Lolita every day. After a while, however, I did become concerned that the smell is too mature, too old-ladyish. Sometimes the fragrance would smell musty to me like a grandmother’s old scarf. Now I am torn in a love-hate relationship with this perfume. Of one thing, however, I am certain: Lolita has something magical, a special ingredient which I have never encountered in any other perfume. For this quality alone, Lolita should be a staple in any perfume-lover’s wardrobe.

It´s teatime. The March Hare hosts a tea party, which he shares with the Cheshire Cat /with its distinctive mischievous grin/ & the Hatter. They´re drinking star anise tea, eating liquorice, sniffing at these charming & magical bottles full of amazing fragrance & listening to their favorite song. Can you hear that tune?
… a tea made from the leaves
    of eucalyptus fragrances
    and coriander seeds
You wake up in the morning
    to warm Pacific breeze
where mean cats chew on licorice
    and cannot climb the trees

This reminds me of a snowy forest❤️ I love wearing it on cold days.
To my nose it’s licorice, star anise, cherry & orris root, it’s spicy which is perfect, the smell draws you. The bottle is adorable, like a glazed Apple (except it’s blue).. The juice inside is phenomenal & magical.

I was about eleven when this scent was released, and was given a miniature bottle of it during one of my mom’s perfume hauls at the department store. How I cherished it! I kept it for years, occasionally sniffing from it from time to time. Fast forward 14 years, I officially got my very first bottle and it’s been my signature scent ever since. I’ve repurchased it more than any other perfume. People around me recognize this as my scent. It’s waned in popularity in recent years since most girls are all about the trendy sugary-patchouli, so this one stands out in the crowd, smells unique and is sweet and gourmand-ish without being intrusive. There is definitely an ethereal quality to it, it’s quirky, it’s feminine, it’s dreamy, and works well in any occasion, neither too casual, nor is it formal. It truly is in a league of its own. There’s an intriguing, powdery ‘fairy-dust’ quality to it, and there’s that invigorating kick from anise that I find irresistible. It is a beautiful licorice-vanilla scent, it’s got abit of everything…sugar, spice and everything nice…a touch of woods, a little fruit, a little green, a smattering of flowers (violet and iris mostly), a pinch of something refreshing and herbaceous (I guess it’s the ivy). Very distinctive. I wear this one almost all year round, day or night. Everyone likes it on me and they always notice when I have it on. I leave my mark with this scent everywhere I go. The only time I wouldn’t wear it is when it’s really warm out. Moderate sillage, it leaves a dreamy trail of scent without screeching it’s presence. Lasts all day on skin and clothes. I will always have a bottle in my collection. Lolita Lempicka is me, and I am her…so yeah…there’s nothing more I can add about this lovely wonder.

I’ve been reading recent reviews of LL – which is one of my favourite fragrances of all time AND one which consistently garners the most compliments, from men and women, every time I wear it.
In my experience, LL has enormous sillage, leaving a wonderful trail behind me, and excellent longevity, even on my normally-perfume-guzzling skin.
So many of these recent comments are complaining about non-existent sillage and poor longevity, which has never been my experience – and I have worked my way through several bottles; sadly I have none left now.
This page is for the ORIGINAL LL, which is no longer available.
Reviewers who are not experiencing that awesome sillage and longevity cannot be testing this one, but one of the more recent flankers. I currently own a bottle of LL Le Premier Parfum, which has similar properties to the original(i.e. monster sillage etc.).
The company has gone through some upheavals lately and perfumes now only seem available on the grey market (or eBay re-sellers, for example). The latest version of the perfume was released in 2017 and is called LL Mon Premier Parfum; the bottle is hideous and even the only company (Nocibe) which is currently licensed to sell it suggests spraying lots of it; reviewers on their website have expressed their disappointment at its poor performance.
As so many of the recent reviewers are noting the same problems though, I can’t help thinking that there must have been a disastrous reformulation of whichever perfume it is that they are testing – or that the market is genuinely flooded with fakes. Either way, it makes me really sad, as this was one of the most innovative and wonderful perfumes of the late 20th century.
I strongly recommend trying to get your hands on one of the flankers, many of which have similar notes, as you may get far better performance for your money.

I read many of the reviews here before trying Lolita Lempicka. I wasn’t sure what to expect it to do with my chemistry…
I tried it on clean skin (no lotion/oil) and was delighted that Lolita Lempicka opens into just a wonderfully unique not-quite-gourmand scent on me. I could nearly taste the anise/ licorice as the perfume bloomed- which was fascinating! Unfortunately, like others, I found that on me, it was short-lived and faded too quickly into a barely-there scent. I didn’t get any of the “bug spray” type notes from this, but I can kinda detect that aspect.
Today is not very humid, and right around 70 F inside and outside my home. Not even much of a skin scent on me after 4 hours of wear, which was disappointing because the scent of anise/licorice is so deliciously mixed. I am glad I bought a tester and I do enjoy the fragrance overall, it isn’t on my list of perfumes to buy unless I can find a way to help it perform better- either with layering (lotion, oil, ?) or perhaps trying it again in Fall/Winter, in colder weather and it performs a bit more to my liking.

It opens up quite pleasantly with a hint on apple, anis and florals BUT….
in the end I have to agree with everyone who detects a bugspray scent:(

Rose and liquorice explosion!! Sweet and rich but not excessively so, simultaneously fresh and light. Lolita is blended so artfully, so beautifully.
    A joyous, sparkling f
