Surprisingly lemony. Extremely lemony when it opens, a good kind of lemon, like Lemonheads. Soon peony and patchouli appear off and on. Meaning you can get a whiff of peony and you think it’s going in a Pleasures Eau Fraiche direction, then it veers into patchouli much like Avon Prima aka Dreams. Yet the lemon persists. Say what you will about the other qualities of Little Pink Dress, it’s one of the most persistent lemons out there.
It’s not weirdly woody like Light Blue. I am not a Light Blue fan, but LPD is a pretty nice scent. I don’t get the comparison at all.
Caviar: I bought this because of the caviar, actually. Since I love Womanity so much, I wanted something else with a little of that DNA and maybe not fig (though I adore fig – just wanted caviar in a different context so I could appraise it better). The caviar is not so much a note in its own right as it is a texturizer. It prevents the lemon and peony from being so screechy. It’s there, but sometimes people react to the idea of caviar more than to the reality. It does not smell like fish eggs at all. It’s not even briny. Just has an unusual warmth, a grounded feeling. The caviar forms part of the base and gives this an earthy fresh tone.
Ends up as a nice citrus patchouli with an unusual tang.

This perfume is a stank, i get what it is to dislike about it but still i like it.the lemon makes it fresh, the caviar makes it weird maybe unpleasant but still i can detect the rose which i like in a scent and it is fresh and light.
The beginning is like a dusty cloud fruity citrusy and then it settles to a rose smell, feminine, soapy, creamy and nice.Doesn’t last long but i reaply and i like the pink bottle and that it has rose which i can detect.it is a day perfume for me, i find comfort in it’s easy to wear, pleasant, soft and fresh aura- i would dress in pastel clothing when wearing it, it is uplifting and gives a feel good vibe.i don’t know why but i think of chalk when smelling it even if chalk doesn’t have a particular smell. And i find it pleasant and strangely sophisticated.
It is not particulary versatile but neither unpretentious
This perfume is one of those instant likes for me

I’m having it right now and dont understand why is it in the citrus category, when the dominant (for me even the only) notes are flowers like peony and jasmine? I even sensed rose, but it turned out it was the peony. That’s basically all I smell. The fragrance is far from original, a lot of perfumes smell like this. It’s not for my taste, but it’s not that bad. Weak longevity.

I absolutely hate this perfume. It might be the caviar, but it turns my stomach & I have to scrub it off immediately.
I find the opening of this similar to Agent Provocative Pink Fatale which people also liken to light blue. However AP is a beautiful delicate mix, citrus in its opening also however it just works. Little pink dress however does not!

I’ve just finished one 50 ml bottle so I think I deserved to write a full review 🙂 I also used Little White Dress from the same family. Little Pink Dress is too much woody according to my taste. Before buying it I though it was more fresh or floral, but it is not. Wood notes or maybe patchouli is so dominant that I don’t even smell citrus notes, floral notes properly. I don’t think buying it again and I don’t think that it smells like DG Light Blue. Never! Light blue is totally fresh while this one is something different. If I have to make a choice between Little White Dress and Little Pink Dress, I would prefer Little White Dress. Although none of them is the fragrance of my life, Little White Dress is much more floral with a hint of spice. Overall, it’s not the best Avon fragrance you can get if you are a fresh fragrance lover.

I thought this would wear like the Avon version of Guerlain’s La Petite Robe Noir The Little Black Dress. This is nowhere near that but it’s still nice. It’s an inexpensive perfume but the scent is actually pretty good. The opening is a fresh citrus refreshing and uplifting. The peony and jasmine floral notes are blending very well together although I can detect only the peony which I assume is supposed to represent the little pink dress. This has caviar in it and I thought o my goodness what would that smell like in a fragrance? I could actually detect it and it’s hard to describe. It’s soft and a bit creamy, definitely out of other gourmand fragrances. The patchouli-caviar note give it a spiciness that I like. This is not very soft in fact it can be quite heavy so I apply only lightly on my wrists. Nothing to be excited enough to make a YouTube video review of it and certainly nothing to brag about but its a pretty very pretty fragrance. Smells delicious, fresh and citric with a pretty pink peony. I wear this pink dress only on windy days. On breezy days the caviar note smells unbelievably good.

I don’t like this perfume at all. I gave it to my friend. I dislike the caviar note which is very noticeable to me. Strange perfume. I think it’s a perfume best worn in spring or summer mornings. Little longevity and sillage.

Citruses and pink peony with right amount of patchouli (noticeable but not prominent).
I dislike the caviar note in this (or in anything..?) and I’m happy it’s toned down on my skin, yet I find it less necessary for this perfume.
It is not unfitting for winters, it’s just more of a day, summer and spring perfume but I can see how it could work in the fall or for evenings.

I have not actually bought the perfume so I am only going by a sample and cannot test it fully.
The original bottle looks pink and girly. Thats not what Id associate this scent with. This scent is hard to place because I can smell some things but I’m not sure what they are.
So firstly there’s quite obviously lemon. I didnt even look on here or in the brochure before being told that. I can also smell something else a bit more gentle in the background which makes it quite nice. BUT on sniffing more, there’s a sharpness – at first I thought that’s the lemon, like lemon zest, but no. Its something similar to lemon… I looked up peonies and patchouli. I thought patchouli smelt sort of woody, a bit sharp and smoky. Peonies, I dont know – but on one website they said they could detect rose/woody and a lemony scent from peonies. Whatever it is, I don’t like it. It’s too strong. Almost spicy. I usually like citrusy scents and I can detect the floral (I like jasmine fragrances) and the woody/green acent which is ok but its the extra sharpness which clashes and is too much.
For the record I do not like lacoste touch of pink if this helps anyone. I figured later it must have been the apicyness. In a way its good this scent isnt ‘ordinary’ ie just lemon and a bit of floral. But I feel theres a clash somewhere and I dont like it even though I want to. It’s making my throat sore too.

A more floral cheap copy of Light Blue and dries down within an hour to something soapy. Poor sillage and longevity.

Ya well, now in the Womanity of Mugler, caviar is as well there, but there is stomach turning, here is just in the … listed notes maybe for publicity purpose.

Avon prices are right up my alley, affordable! Probably I hafta have this ’cause it’s pink. I hope it smells as pretty as it looks! I like these little square bottles for some reason, I’m drawn to them and they aren’t THAT cute.

this is the most unusual smell. My first time using it I could hardly smell it on me so I sprayed over with No 5 and I can say the mix was good, I will certainly do that again.
The next time I sprayed with a heavier hand and Lpd lasted the day on ts own.
I do like this fragrance for times when I want to smell like I wear fragrance because its so unattractive for a women to wear none, but if I want to quiet and in the background. this is truly a real little pink dress fragrance, Avon picked a perfect name. I’ve just ordered Little Black Dress and its going to be interesting fo me to see if I is a little black dress 🙂

A bit too LightBlue-ish in the drydown and too chaotic in the opening – as if there had been an explosion in the perfume lab and someone tried to clear things up quickly without being noticed. To cover up the disaster results, they quickly added something very familiar that sells well (loads of citrusses), packed in a bottle and here we go – a ‘brand new’ scent which does not seem to be new at all. Not that’s it bad, it’s just not very revealing, but definitely nice and long-lasting, however not safe – surprisingly it did give me a headache after one spritz on my wrist and this hardly ever happens to me.

Well, in my skin at the beginning has a smell very rare citruses and Jasmine. But after 6-7 minutes smells like tobacco flowers!!!.. is very sensual, but only for 30-50 min.. it’s a shame!!.

The dry down to me smells like D&G Light Blue.

I am so in awe with this fragrance, very happy to have taken a chance and ordered it without testing it first!!
I get so man compliments and inquiries as what I am wearing throughout the day…it just make me feel chic when I wear this!! It kind of reminds me of Chanel Chance in a sense of if there was an EDT…this is much softer than the Chanel Chance EDP but less fruity than the Chance Eau Tendre and certainly less greener than the Chance Eau Fraiche).
It last quiet well as I can still smell traces of it up to 7+ hours later and the silage is about a arm’s length and it intensifies with the body heat which gets to about 2-3 feet from the wearer and a little cloying at times for me but hasn’t gave me a headache yet.
I’ll say that it is more of a fall/winter scent due to its projection and silage however it will also work well early spring and on cooler summer nights but I would not recommend it for summer days unless you are into heavy.
Definitely my new favorite and I intend to stock it up in the next promotion!!
Edit – My love affair with this seems to be over, at days it is bearable and still pleasant but on most days it smells off…not sure if my chemistry has changed since or if this batch just went off that quickly!
Well try again after a while of sitting out and will see…

Well done Avon…you`ve come up trumps with this one!
Im not sure about the caviar being in there?? I dont get it at all…but this is a really good dupe for Addict 2. This smells pink and fresh.
For once I feel avon have hit the nail on the head.
