    Prime Casual Crowd stuff this.
Same old, ‘nice’ ‘ pleasant’ fog of sweetish peachy-calone and watery mist
Like, the same as 10 million of the other one of ‘thems’
And while no where near Niche price levels, still sold for grossly more than it should be (which is £10)
    My rating: 4/10

What a F…g good scent this is (or was)!! Despite of the performance issues, this will allways be a beautiful memory for me….it’s not unique at all, but it gives you a very pleasurable and comforting, and – still- manly aura. Of course…girls love it (if they are close enough);)

I’m a perfume aficionado from India and I review perfumes that I have used. My comments on perfumes are based upon how they perform in the climatic conditions of my country. In other words, a certain fragrance may perform differently in other countries as compared to where I live. Moreover, my comments are based upon how people react to different scents.
Hello and welcome to another review. Today Im going to be reviewing a flanker of one of my favourite brands Yves Saint Laurent and the fragrance is L’Homme Eau d’Ete for men. This is a flanker of YSL L’Homme and it was launched in the year 2007.
I think the word that pops up in my head every time I wear this fragrance is upscale. Just like most of YSL’s perfumes this one too is very chic and elegant. The notes are ginger, bergamot, white pepper, violet and basil. Although I wear it with casuals but I think its more suited to formal wear. Its definitely a summer perfume as it performs better in the heat than in the winters.
    Rating:
Fragrance : The fragrance is sophisticated but nothing unique. Starts off as fresh spicy for the first 30 minutes and culminates into citrusy powdery as the day progresses. I would give it a 6/10
Sillage : The sillage for this one is pretty ordinary and is slightly better in the summers than winters. Wear this one and you won’t really leave a noticeable trail. 5/10
Projection: The projection is quite weak as compared to La’Nuit de’lhomme and the original La’Homme. Its about 2 to 3 ft depending on the weather. 5.6/10
Performance: After using L’Homme and La Nuit de’Ihomme my expectations from d’Ete were sky high but I was very disappointed with its performance. Thought I did receive compliments from women but only in the high heat. I have worn it in winters but it was hardly noticeable and it turned into more of a skin perfume after an hour. Im going to give a 5.9/10 only because its a compliment getter.
L’Homme Eau d’Ete does not offer anything unique. Not my personal favourite but women do seem to like it on me.

I find this one very easy to wear casually, this is a crisp mellow version of la nuit. The scent is nice and refreshing but the performance is sub level.
My best casual scent so far.
I’m not going to rate this one, I can say that I do love it for what it is.

part phenomenal and part amazing truly this is. Love come in all shapes & sizes, but for me is was this ysl cologne. Sweet, alluring, seductive. That alone doesn’t do it justice on its projection/longevity/ & how appropriate this is. from a night out to casual & even business. This fragrance will capture everyone nose without the doubt and leave them wondering what was that enchanting smell. PERFECT to the T 1 out of 10 PERFECT 10 🙂

Down to the last drop of this. Got it when it came out and now its Impossible to find at a reasonable price. It was my signature scent for a while. I love the top notes the ginger really stands out. Has great longevity on me and I get tons of compliments. I will miss it when I’m all out of it!

Sweet scent, smells great. I wouldn’t consider this cologne “sexy” however. It is a great smelling cologne though. Smells great but not very masculine.

This is a wonderful day cologne. Not too strong and not too weak. Don;t need to spray too much on you either.

This one has stronger ginger smell than the white cap.

Whats the difference between this one and the one with the White cap? I saw the differences on Fragrantica but can anyone break it down and their experience with them?

This one REALLY rubs me the wrong way… I don’t know.. If you are at all sensitive to lemon peper, dill, etc.. those kinds of scents. you will HATE this.
