Oddly, my first impression on this perfume was very similar to J’adore, although upon side by side comparison, they turned out to be quite different. Perhaps it’s the jasmine note that gave such impression.
When I compared them side by side, and closely sniffing them from arm to arm, J’adore is a bit more mellow and floral vs. Les Ors being fruitier and slightly sweeter.
In my personal opinion, either of these perfumes are good for spring and early summer, will have see how it will do in very hot summer later. In the fall and winter, they develop sharp note that feel harsh and piercing to my nose, a trait that these two perfumes share in common.
I received Les Ors as a gift back in November, when the weather was just turning chilly but still warm enough. Couldn’t stand the harsh note. Tried again in the middle of winter… still no avail.
For the last time, I gave it a try a few days ago. It is an entirely different perfume, very lovely indeed. I can smell banana, pineapple, jasmine and caramel, all very nicely blended together.
It is a quite loud perfume, perhaps tropically happy? Will have to update after I apply this in the middle of hot, humid summer day to see how it develops.
