This is the first Annick Goutal I got years ago.
To me, it’s extremely fresh, simple, and chic.
It’s very lemony but not sweet and the balance with the cypress gives it some depth and makes it a little more masculine. Totally unisex.
I wear this on very hot days, out of the shower, and sometimes I layer it with my Eau Sauvage talc, it’s very cool.
Reminds me a little Eau de Rochas.
I don’t mind the longevity, I just put another drop later or use on my hair or clothes.
    Very Goutal!

I wanted to love this. Songes is so complex and beautiful that I just assumed all Goutals would be equally amazing.
I work in an industry that uses a lot of chemicals. One of those chemicals is limonene. Limonene can either smell like oranges or a Pine-Sol type floor cleaner. I got both from Eau D’Hadrien, and that’s all I got.
I literally smelled like I was eating an orange next to a mop bucket. Thank goodness it doesn’t last long, because I stuck it out hoping the dry down would be worth it. And, I see from several other reviews, that I am not the only one who got the limonene overdose.

Nice, but fleeting. Vanished in less than an hour. Maybe best in candle form.

what a beauty this scent is
yes even tho its really basic and theres nothing unique about it its still fresh and uplifting and deserves a seat at the table
what you get at the start (lemon cypress and mandarin with some other undertones) is exactly what you get to the bitter end but like many other citrus based scents most dont last very long on the skin and when they do they sit very close to it
this scent is no exception 🙁 projection is lacking but one cant help love the way this smells it just screams summer
the only way i can see this scent being added to my collection is if i was willing to shower myself in it just to make it last and project and since im not willing to do so im going to have to pass
but maybe this will work better on your skin so give this a go
    on to the next

How they have not been sued by SC Johnson is beyond me.
Straight-up Lemon Pledge for all of 2 minutes, followed by a few more moments of something more pleasant. Then, it’s all just a bad memory.

In the Eau de Cologne Chanel Les Excl. style … classical fragance, lemonade, green and sweet too lemons and limes, yellow, green and luminous water … delicated and sophisticated cologne …

The citrus mix is well done, but longevity is pathetic. Even when sprayed on the wrist, I could not smell it 20 minutes later. Spend your money on AdP

I quite agree with the reviewer who pointed out that citrusy fragrances don’t last, but everything else about this I love! The citrus notes and the cypress blend perfectly on me. Some may find it a bit too masculine, but it is a unisex fragrance. I’m wearing it now,and I foresee a purchase of a big bottle coming up!

I have the EAU DE PARFUM of this fragrance. It is the perfect summer fragrance. It is a blend of lemon, grapefruit and cypress — light, airy and fresh smelling. It goes on intense, but melds into your skin shortly after. It is more of a summer fragrance, but I occasionally will layer it with a stronger, more winter fragrance. Hadrien layers brilliantly with most fragrances… it is very versatile.
The only downside is that even at the parfum level, this fragrance has little staying power (the eau de toilette will fare less potent). After a few hours, it vanishes. This is not uncommon among citrusy type fragrances — most do not last very long.

Eau, O, Oh! Smelling this scent brought a hugh smile to my face. It reminds me of O de Lancome, which I was given a bottle of by a special aunt while I was in my teens.
This is a zingy burst of citrus. This makes no apologies for its lemoniness. There’s no vanilla, no flowers, no green, none of the notes often used to soften the zestiness, but I like it the way it is.
I just remembered that I used to use O de Lancome to mist directly onto my face to cool me down in the summer. Whoops – that probably contributed to a few of my wrinkles!
Thank you to the lovely Anywho who sent me a sample of this sunshine in a bottle.

For me its too sharp. I was looking for a nice fresh summer scent, but this is only a lemon mist.

Comprei um decant desse perfume por causa das suas notas. Fiquei decepcionada porque no final das contas essa fragrância me lembra muito xixi de gato, sinceramente. Sabe uma casa que tem muitos gatos que não tomam banho? É bem isso que sinto.

This would be nice during the hot summer days, but there are so many citrus – lemon fragrances, so who needs another one? I can’t detect anything I haven’t smelled before. Only lemon, grapefruit, lemon, grapefruit… Boring!
