First time I use it was at the beginning of summer. Too much lemon candy for me, so I put it back into the drawer until now (fall). I was looking for a lemon note as I can find in Guerlain HR in the opening (I’m addicted to it), and I remembered this gem, so I gave it another chance. This time Lemon line was awesome, very bold and balance. The opening now is a little sweet and the dry down is a classic lemony. This perfume is outstanding for spring and fall at least, let’s see in winter, but IMO definitely not for summer or only one or two sprays top (too intense).
For me is good for office or casual events. Performance is above average as most of Mancera’s perfumes.

Not many reviews for this one which is surprising, it’s an undiscovered gem! Juicy, natural lemon/lime on a bed of lavender, oak moss and musk. Very potent and long-lasting, and all-around well liked by those in your scent bubble. I get a smooth almost sandalwood vibe from this although sandalwood isn’t listed as a note.
Nothing at all in common with laundry detergent… not even close! Perhaps if a niche house offered a high-end laundry detergent some day it may smell something like this, but saying it smells like detergent or synthetic is way off base.
Criminally underrated if you like citrus aromatics! I’ve owned many and only a few have lasted through the years in my collection.

So much hate for this awesome fragrance? this is for natural lemon, citrusy lovers like me, the stupid remarks on this superior fragrance, and this scorny arrogants are nothing but a bunch connoisseur wannabes “nose trained experts” that treat these kinds of fragrances with disdain by displaying an utter disregard for them….

i agree with Shanester66 … it smells exactly like lemon drop that but it doesn’t last much as other manceras i have, may be its too hot here in India i.e.42 degree Celsius .
Will try again on a cooler day to tell the longevity on this .
But overall a very nice & fresh fragrance .

Typical citrus blast but with better performance than most. Obviously made with quality ingredients, and has beast mode projection. But to me, it’s over priced for such a casual generic citrus scent. As the reviewer below me indicated, check out Moschino Uomo which this smells a lot alike at less than half the price. On the other hand, if you have been looking for a lemon/lime dominated fragrance that can literally fill a room and last for hours, you just found it here. Lemon Line is unquestionably beast mode.

it´s almost the same like moschino uomo (which is for far better price) .. nothing groundbreaking. clean synthetic lemon smell … linear

I see a lot of comparison to lemon detergent . For this blame all the detergent cleaning companies who use aroma chemicals similar to perfumes use. I think this fragrance is lemon candy predominantly due to lemon at top and amber at base.
When you buy mancera or montale expect a little synthetic vibes. End of the day their experiments are liked by a lot of buyers so it works.

This is an incredible citrus fragrance, and by far the most powerful one I’ve smelled. It starts off with a very realistic tart lemon with hints of green bergamot and orange. As it dries down, it ends up smelling like lemon candy but not in a cloying or cheap way, but rather very luxuriously done (though with a bit of sweetness that increases the longer you wear this). The fragrance really reminds me of Anglia Spiced Limes but on steroids. It remains lemon-dominant for the duration of the fragrance (incredible for any citrus fragrance), but gets more of the oakmoss, lavender, and white musk notes overtime, especially after about 5 hours. It’s extremely strong in the opening with huge sillage and projection, while sillage becomes moderate after 3 hours but leaning on the strong side. This itself is a feat for a lemon-based fragrance to have such great sillage. Longevity is also insanely beastmode! In fact I wore this and it lasted for over 12 hours on my skin. I then went to sleep, woke up and took a shower, and put on another shirt. And I was shocked to notice I could still smell it on my new shirt (I had originally sprayed just two sprays on my neck). The fragrance definitely leans masculine. Overall, this is a really fantastic lemon offering – possibly the best lemon fragrance for men out there (barring Profumum Roma Acqua Viva, however that is a really pricey niche fragrance). It’s lemon done in a really classy and gentleman-like way; I could wear this for regular days but I think it would work best when dressing up and in the evening. This is one of my top 5 fragrances of all time.

This is good and different. I don’t think I can say ‘great’ yet, but I’ve only had it one day so far!
I really like it, and it’s a good summer or spring fragrance. It’s pretty much straight-up lemons for me – the whole thing, rind, juice, flesh. Very vivid and fresh. I don’t think I smell any lavender or moss, or any of the other mentioned notes. Just juicy, freshly cut/peeled lemons, simple, clean and very fresh and happy. It lasts and projects firmly above average for a citrus perfume (they’re notoriously weak and short lived in their majority), but on the grand scale of perfume things I’d say it’s only average to maybe slightly above average.
All in all still worth it and I’m happy I bought it!

Every time I wear this I am glad I did. It’s a citrus fresh scent that actually performs. People come into my office from the hallway to tell that I smell good. It’s simple, smells great, and performs. If you want a solid Summer scent that you don’t have to reapply 4 times a day, pick this one up.

First of all, it’s LIME and not lemon. It should be called Lime Line. And yes it’s mighty powerful, in fact the most powerful and longest lasting lime in my experience, yet with a very stong lavender which isn’t one of my favorites but really does work well with the lime.
Thank you kindly for the recommendation of layering this with Cedrat Boise as I own both and oprobably never would have put these two together. The combination works really well, like a full bodied tutti fruity with some unexpected spiciness and some floral. Nice combination!

I think I like the first ten minutes of this. The rest is quite forgettable.
Eau sauvage cologne by Dior is way much better in my opinion, since it lasts longer (six hours versus two and a half) and it’s got a nicer drydown and fresher opening notes.
Tested both during sunny August days in Italy.
I like the bottle, but not the juice.

I am huge fan of Mancera fragrances, but I am not really a fan of the citrus-aromatic, freshie type scents. They’re okay, but I don’t own many because I don’t wear them often enough. Well, I managed to finally put my nose on Lemon Line and shocked for two reasons: 1) how incredibly different it is from most of Mancera’s lineup – even the non-oud scents and 2) just how I much I love this one; it’s my new go-to citrus-aromatic for the warm Spring/Summer days.
We’re all familiar with the citrus-aromatic genre so I’m not going to go into great detail describing this fragrance other than to say I pickup on lots of lemon, a touch of lime, a freshly spiced aromatic vibe that is somewhat green and with vague hints of floral tones in the background. My fear with this fragrance were that the citrus notes would be overpowering (they are loud and proud in the opening), the lavender would be too aggressive and the scent would shit-the-bed and disappear in 2-3 hours. Instead, everything in this citrus-aromatic strikes the right balance and it performs extremely well for a citrus-aromatic.
Performance is stellar in that Lemon Line lasts a solid 7-8 hours on my skin and projects slightly above average on my skin, which is great for this type of scent. Moreover, while I truly enjoy the citrus-aromatic top and heart phases,I most enjoy the drydown when the musky-woody vibe ramps up and the citrus-aromatic tones fade into the background.
If you wanna know what this smells like then imagine mixing a bottle of Chanel Allure Edition Blanche with C.O. Bigelow Lemon No. 1999 and tossing in touch of that Mancera musky woody DNA…and ramp-up the quality. Overall, a very fine citrus-aromatic that you should try if you’re into this kind of fragrances. Peace!
Update: although I have never tried to layer this one with Cedrat Boise (never thought of it) I’ll give it a try as mentioned above. Moreover, I layer this with Kumkat Wood and the Lemon-Woody combo makes a much better fragrance IMO.

Wow!! What a nice fresh take on lime; Lemon Line has this Lemon Citrusy, Geranium, Oakmoss aura-umm umm!
From the opening, I get a coconut limey feel…reminds me a little of Creed’s Virgin Island Water’s lime sweetness even has a Creed’s Royal Water’s dry lime citrusy vibe-however, Lemon Line is its on flavor and juice, has its own unique qualities…..just some landmarks to help distinguish the scents’ features.
There are some floral notes, however the lemon and citrus are the main players here…..
This fragrance has some beast mode sign projections in view…verdict still out!
    Projection: 7.5/10-for first few hours…
    Sillage: 8/10
    Longevity: 6/10
    Overall: 7/10
Sits on the masculine side of things, however could be unisex!! Nice overall scent!

Very good citrus-lavender-woods (moss) combo imo surrounded by mainly geranium and musk. The advantage besides just smelling plain good is that this has above average longevity and good projection, especially first 1.5 hrs. Another advantage for Cedrat Boise owners is that this stuff is to be perfectly layered with CB! The combintaion of those two works like magic and gives CB a fresher touch or Lemon Line a heavier touch if you will. Inoffensive and perfect for warmer days/evenings for just smelling fresh, luxurious and good! Thumbs up! Rating 8.5/10

All composition is predominantly like lemon detergent… But, it is insistently most asked cologne by my coworkers. Especially females admired that juice!

Somehow it reminds me of benetton unisex. Very lemony and off course pure summer perfume. After the initial humongous lime-thirst, lavender comes to rescue along with a hint of white musk. Overall a fine lime lovers fragnance. Anybone with TDH should avoid. after settling down it reminds me of tdh but nt as bitter orangy as tdh have.longevity is moderate on my skin.sillage is moderate too.
    Over all,
    Fragnance-8/10
    projection-7/10
    Longevity-6.5
Price- at €150 should be avoided. Buy if available less than €50-60.

its amazing . it smells almost like D&G Masculine but this stuff is on steroids . its my d&g replacement .its a burst of zesty lemons . this goes well layered with mancera cedrat boise .

I admit to being a relative newbie, I got a sample of this and was impressed by it being lemony and fresh without being too sharp or too sweet. The Lavender seems to help it not be too sherbet-like and the geranium tempers the potential for it smelling harsh cleaning product-ish. As Esteban says the Oakmoss brings in the masculinity but not too much for me as a female 🙂 A nice balance and it lasted all day.

Lovers of lemon and lime beware!
You may well faint by smelling the opening of this fragrance.
It’s pure lemon. And while for some people that brings a picture of a house cleaning product, to me this smells like heaven. Not too many scents can rival the fresh, zingy, wake me up smell of lemons. Heaven!
    But then…Lavender.
Lavender is a note that I dislike completely. Even if I try really hard (like in this composition) I still have a hard time trying to ignore it.
Thankfully this is a “citrus on steroids” so the lavender doesn’t take over.
The oak moss later is clear, bringing just the right amount of dirty masculinity. And the white flowers? I don’t smell any, maybe they are just hidden in the background.
This is a nice fragrance, inoffensive, refreshing, cheerful, most appropriate for daytime or hot and humid summer nights.
As usual with lemon scented perfumes, most people won’t like it. But that’s the story of poor lemon, a victim of household cleaning companies.
I like it, and the fact that this is not a “sweet lemon” or a “meringue lemon pie” type of scent makes me like it even more.

A lemon ice cream tasted at the beach in the middle of August. It surprises me how Mancera build images with scent. Not too intense but pleasant.
