At first, a HUGE blast of grapefruit hits your nostrils!! Quite sour compared to the original Sport version. I like them both but this one is more of a Sport-edition, IMO. Really clean smelling. Only two notes are listed which cant be accurate. Performance is actually good. After a days work i can still smell it on my wrist. Put some on your shirt and you will get two more days of this lovely summerscent 🙂
    Limited edition

for me this is the best issey miyake scent.
I usually don’t like issey miyake (PH, d’ete, summer) they are identical for me.
    But this one is different.
It reminds me a scent from another brand but i don’t remember.
I will update if I remember.

WTF??? If you can’t tell the difference between this and Chanel PE there’s something VERY wrong with your senses
Honestly, I’m convinced some people are either intentionally making comments/comparisons that have nothing to do with the fragrance or they’re drunk and on the wrong page…and the sheep that give it balloons are even worse
This fragrance is 99.9999% like the original Issey Sport and smells NOTHING like platinum
Egoiste….all I can do is shake my head

Well, if I was blindfolded, I wouldn’t be able to distinguish between this and Chanel’s Platinum Egoiste for the first few minutes. The best I can say is that it lacks that metallic sting that users of P.E. are greeted with. Issey is a more tamed version so to say, of the Chanel, both in terms of scent and how agressive it is to begin with. But the difference is mild at best to begin with.
The drydown is where the two scents differ the most in my opinion. Issey lacks the class and zest of the Chanel here and has to content with a generic lemon-lime drydown, very similar to Versace Man Eau Fraiche drydown. Performance is not as good as the Chanel, but given that it’s low cost, one can always reapply at will.
I prefer the Chanel over this installment from Issey but the two are readily interchangable with minimal variation in the actual scents.
