This is the first rosy scent that I find pleasing. The soft rose fragrance is really feminine and lovely. The sillage is humble yet it lasts to 5 hours, which makes the perfume even more elegant. Highly recommend this to little sweet ladies.

I’m sure I’ve written a review or two about this or other Issey scents in the past, seeing how the Lotus version is in my top 5 favourites of all time…anywho! So I was actually away in another city where they also have my beauty fav Shoppers Drug Mart and found a 100 mls bottle Of this gem for $19.99 and it rekindled my love for the l’eau d’issey line. While I’m not a lover of rose scented fragrances, this one the rose is light enough of a rose
To not be in your face old lady smell, make sense? It truly is so lovely,if you are into the Issey brand

    Rose?
I smell the original L’Eau D’Issey (note of mock orange-lily). But then it turns very green, watery, aquatic and dusty. Watery like waterlily, green like crushed stems of it, dusty like neroli but it isn’t neroli, it is pollen of flowers? lots of pollen. Aquatic and dusty, strange combination. After 2 hours I scent something like base of Dali’s Little Kiss Cherry or Tommy Girl flanker.

I am very cautious of rose scents as they tend to be very strong and heady which results in a bad headache for me. So I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this one. It’s a very crisp, fresh and green rose. Upon initial spray, it is very sharp but then dries down to a delicate floral that’s perfect for spring.

This had a sharp opening for me as well as some of the other reviewers noted. After the initial opening, I mostly get musky rose rather than any white florals. I think the musky rose creates a soapy powder element that doesn’t work well with my skin and sinuses. I do love the Pure version, but for a rose fragrance, I prefer Jo Malone Red Roses.

Okay so I had this fragrance for a few years.I got it as a gift from a friend.I wasn’t wild about it because I noticed it has peony in it or what my nose recognized as peony. And that note although it smells lovely makes me kind of sad.I lost a loved one during a time I wore a peony fragrance.
Well, I wore this from time to time I wasn’t wild about it.I gave it to my mother and then just about a week ago I saw it on my mother’s dresser not being used.So I took it back LOL I know I began wearing it.Most of my fragrances have been giving me a headache except this one and Hot Pink by Marc Jacobs. It just hit me yesterday how beautiful chic and classic this scent it.Its not a big heavy floral its light soft and pretty. But, yet it last it lingers lightly on your skin.I always get compliments from men when I wear this.I think I need to buy another bottle of this when it runs out.I truly enjoy this scent.I love rose and can smell that also I smell Lily of the Valley but, its all soft not harsh or offensive. This is a great fragrance.

Smells lovely, then smells like musty rose, then smells quite nice, good and then fades away.
Won’t say its bad. All fragrances at some stage do this.. I’m just glad I have a sample to get to know it better. I like it enough.

This is watered down Montale Roses Musk with lotus. To be honest, I finished an entire bottle but I didn’t spray this on my self but on my sheets and in the bedroom lol. This is so cool, crisp and clean and beautiful. I really miss it. might get it again for the same purpose. Don’t judge me!

Forale is a very delicate transparent pink floral. Pure and innocent if not slightly infantile – it’s watery, flowery aroma brings bittersweet imageries of pastel green carpeting and rosy flowery tapestry, a room of the 70’s teen ballerina.
It is a great scent of minimal, fresh, understated, translucent floral feminity. An early green rosy floral with absolutely no sugar.
Like a more concentrated, higher quality version of Cabotine Rose or Versace Baby Rose Jeans without its signature violet-vanillic sweetness.
It is absolutely beautiful but feels way too romantic-nostalgic for everyday wear to me.

I had my eye on this for a long time and I finally bought it, blindbuy. I love it! its fresh and unique like the other Issey scents, it smells beautiful! lily of the valley and rose. I need to get moore Issey scents!

  12. :

I don’t feel any citruses here, neither lily, only gentle rosehip and just some slight shades from the original Issey. And also it reminds of Dior Addict the way I like it – very soft and tender .

Rose done right. Feminine and airy with the perfect touch of woods. Concentrated perfume oil in this would be amazing. A girl can dream.

Smells very girly/feminine. Perfect for spring! The scent is what a pretty girl suppose to smells like.

I got a sample of the edt and I don’t like it at all. Initially it is very strong and I can smell lily and rose. After a few minutes it doesn’t smell like anything on my skin at all. I can’t really detect the woodsy notes. Longevity is weak. To me the scent reminds me of toilet freshener, especially if you’re not that keen on flowery scents like me.

I’m tossing up whether to get Lotus or Florale. I really, really like Florale but I’m unable to test IM Lotus before purchase. As an aquatics lover in a hot and humid climate they both seem like a good choice. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

I absolutely adore this perfume, I was infact looking for this smell for a long time. Can someone please help me understand what exactly is this fragrance all about. Is it the lilies, sorry no expert here. Because I have Dolce Rosa Excelsa so I think I know how roses smell and this is nothing like it even though many say this is about roses?

  18. :

    5 out of 5

Upon initial spray, it was very sharp orange and lily at first. A few seconds later rose adds itself to the chorus, but not overwhelmingly though. This is a very soft rose, very faint at first, but as it grows stronger and the woody notes start coming in, a muskiness makes its presence known, and the sharpness dies down. Then, it does something.
It becomes Miracle on my skin. How did that happen? I found 3 others that said the same thing. Whew! I though I was going mad. lol Ok, maybe I am a little, but still, this was unexpected. It’s still very lovely and I think I will enjoy wearing this.
Longevity is not too bad at about 4-6 hours. Remember it’s an EDT so this isn’t going to last 18 hours. Good choice for warm weather, but much too delicate for cold.

Es una locion deliciosa, siempre que me la pongo recibo muchos elogios, para mi es fresca y de larga duracion

Issey miyake floral is a very pretty springtime floral, floral notes are dominant here but not heady or classic florals,it’s all about sweet lovely rose, also lily in smaller amount,I consider it a simple, fresh rosey fragrance and a must try for rose lovers,it reminds me many other rosey perfumes but this fresh musky rose lily combo was pretty enough to make me grab a bottle and plan to go for it frequently during spring and summer days
There is just a hint of citrus to make it fresh,so there is no sour citrus sharpness to my nose, there is also a soft musky undertone which I find very gentle and likable
It’s pretty simple, linear and in offensive, but very wearable, bright and lovely, one of my most beloved ones in this line,I love it’s simplicity, there is nothing overdone here to ruin beauty of rose, last rosey perfume that I found this much simple and lovely was acqua di parma rosa nobile(which I like more but is much more expensive)
Longevity is more than what I’ve expected for such a soft pink silky scent,at least 5-6 hours, and sillage is moderate during first hours before it turns to a gorgeous skinscent
I happily own a 1.7 oz bottle, very cute and it’s color matches the scent perfectly

  21. :

    If by perfume you mean an interesting or failed succession or mixture of scents, a more or less careful matching of notes, a certain evolution over time;
if by perfume you mean a smell that takes you somewhere (else, new) remember Eau Florale just means flowery water and tune your expectations down.
This is melon and rose, sweetish all the way down to a flattish creamy-soapy ending, period. Not water-melon, rather cantaloupe. (Suggestion to creators: what about a “cantaloupe au Xérès” fume?)
I admit being new to the maison IM, maybe I am not getting their “language”, but I feel they gave very little thought to this one and the result is minimalist in the worse acception.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

Floral aquatic is generally not my genre. After a harsh citrusy opening I smell a well crafted musky rose with moderate projection and longevity. It’s getting better after a little while and the rose gets more sweet and voluptous. I find it very well executed but maybe too sour in the opening for my taste? I’m not sure that I’d be patient enough to wait for the heart to bloom.

  23. :

    4 out of 5

I’m currently using up my bottle of this Edt and I am really loving it. The reason for me using it up is the fact that the longevity sucks so bad that there’s no reason to hang on to it. It is very floral and soft and is the perfect perfume for work.

  24. :

    5 out of 5

L’Eau D’Issey Florale is a fresh spring time fragrance of flowers. This wears more like an eau de toilette by the way and not a heavy or complex perfume. This doesn’t follow the traditional top middle and base note formula so it’s a linear scent that smells exactly the same from the first spritz to the dry down and disappearance. I wish it had a longer life span but it’s not bad. It’s great to put on after a shower and to wear during your work day. The scent opens with fresh mandarin orange citrus. It’s there for the first few minutes but it quickly becomes a rose. This is mostly a rose fragrance but it also has an additional floral note of lily. I detect the lily but she’s clearly the Rose Queen’s lady in waiting and she’s trailing behind her. This is a sweet rose perfumy and feminine but not especially striking or memorable as a rose fragrance. Just an easy to wear casual rose. The woods are very soft. It’s a beautiful simple fragrance, a tad on the innocent side. It’s perfect to wear as a casual fragrance with casual clothes. Not a formal clothing scent. If you love rose perfumes and clean fresh simple linear scents you’ll like this one. Although this is a flanker for the first L’Eau D’Issey this is no way related to the first one or a dupe of any other fragrance that I know of. It’s very pretty.

My mother loves the original but I loved Florale accidentally. We have a bottle for more than 6 years and it still smells so nice although was kept simply in the bathroom, (under lights, heat, humidity) something not good for perfume’s life.
I am not into florals but I liked this one. Rose scared me a bit as I don’t like it in perfumes but it almost has some fruity character. To me, what describes this perfume perfect is Turkish delight! Exactly this. Have you ever tried it? If yes, you’ll get my point. It is made mainly of rose-water, cornstarch, drops of red color and on top sugar powder.
All in all, it may be a bit bold but it’s a safe option for work, dates, even to gift it. Better for 25+ ages and active characters. Rosie, oriental, light but bold, a bit sour due to orange but sexy because of the soft woods. Works better in mild to cool temperatures. Issey Miyake always puts some drops of his special fantasy in his perfumes.

I think its time I confess my addiction to perfume. I am now blind buying at least 2-3 perfumes a week! I typically do this at shoppers drug mart because they have a clearance 19.99 shelf that is updated near daily. So today I found this! Not only is l’eau d’issey, l’eau d’issey summer and l’eau d’issey lotus my top favs ever, but I actually had not sea this yet. It had been marked at 98.00 for the 50ml bottle and I got it for 19.99! I’m in absolute shock I found this so cheap. Anywho onto the review….so I happen to find this near identical to summer 13/14, just slightly more floral. It is such a beautiful perfume. This whole line of fragrances is. If you like the original than you would likely love this, well I guess if your Intl florals than you would anyways. And if you like the summer ones than you WILL love this. True beauty! It smells so pretty!

BEAUTIFULLY DONE White Floral and ROSE! I have been through so many rose fragrances searching for the right *ONE* or *ONES*. I also love ROSE THE ONE by DG, but the Rose here has been done totally different. It takes a mediocre L’eau D’Issey and jazzes it up a notch, still with the lovely aquatic note, just lighter.
EDIT: You MUST be a fan of the original L’eau D’Issey to enjoy this fragrance. The L’eau REALLY comes out strongly after the initial spray dries down.
I have (5) 8.2 ounce Dept Store refill bottles and / or decants available from 5 mL to 2 ounces spray and rollerballs available for swap or sale. 100% Guaranteed!!

This smells cheap and overly floral. I spray this on my kids when they beg me for perfume and I won’t be with them so I don’t have to smell it on them. It gives me a headache.

i bought this perfume two years ago, it was good at first with very nice floral and fruity scent, i was pretty happy with it.
but after sometime, it got bad.. the smell became pungent, giving me headache everytime when i use it.

    Aww goddammit…
I blind bought this, and it just doesn’t work on me. The orange and rose are there for about 5 seconds of glee, before fading completely into strong, soury, masculine woods – smelling very strongly of cedar on me. Not floral at all, makes me want to choke. LE SIGH. Glad that it smells good on some folks, anyway.

A very noticeable and markable perfume, at the same time sutile and fresh. Every time I wear it, at least one person gives me a compliment. On the second time wearing it, people remembered and asked me the name of my perfume. Even not using too much, people use to say “felt your accent” when they smell it somewhere (I love it!).
Notes are very equilibrated and well distributed, doesn’t have any very strong note over others.
I believe it’s the finest spring perfume I ever had.

  32. :

    4 out of 5

Very fruity rosey on initial spray but within 20 minutes it mellows to a refreshing watery rose with a hint of sharp/ tangy fruit.
Sillage is moderate… Arm radius with 2 sprtizes at the neck 1 on each wrist.
Longevity I would say it lasts 4 hrs but I can smell it faintly on my wrists and on my clothes.
A really good spring and summer scent, carefree and easy to wear… Good all rounder and a modern fruity rose.
Less potent than the original EDT – just to give you an idea of potency! But I love the original too

I’ve only wore this a couple times before, and the first time I found it to be similar to Vera Wang’s Truly Pink, but after wearing this yesterday I decided I like this better. At first it seemed as though it had a medicinal quality to it that I was unsure about, but as the hours went by that note faded and the scent just got more and more beautiful. I imagined a summer evening in Connecticut where I grew up, sitting in a backyard next to a rose garden, reading a book and sipping a glass of white wine. Oh, this perfume made me feel so homesick and it lasted the whole day! A very romantic, elegant, classy perfume.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

I don’t generally like limited or summer editions of my favourite perfumes but this one and the Lotus version are just – amazing!
I have a feeling that honey is coming somewhere from the base of this fragrance after about an hour on m skin…it’s a pure miracle.
But, as always with Issey Miyake, if you don’t tolerate lily well, you won’t like it. If you do- you’ll be blown away by this beauty.

  35. :

A gift from my husband. Screechy, headache inducing for me…too much lily. Lily does not agree with me; it smells rotted with my chemistry.

I’ve been on the market for a rose-led perfume for my collection. This weekend a SA at Sephora sprayed L`Eau d`Issey Florale on one of my hands and Dolce&Gabbana Rose The One on the other. I went out into the mall to do some more shopping and to let the perfumes dry down so I could see if either of them played well with my skin. But I forgot which hand was which! The two perfumes are very similar, but I found that I was liking the scent on my left hand a little better because there were traces of sour that played nicely off the sweet, the perfume seemed more playful and alive, and it warmed up beautifully with my skin. My left hand ended up being the D&G which is the one I think I’ll end up purchasing.
I didn’t dislike L`Eau d`Issey Florale by any means, and if you’re looking for a more straight-forward, refreshing rose scent, I think this one could work well for you. But if you’d like your rose to share the stage with some vanillay/fruit/musky back-up dancers, you should probably check out D&G’s Rose The One.

As if Stella and Bright Crystal mated. An aquatic almost musky rose. Reminds me of other rose-focused perfumes like Smoky White Rose. Nice.

All in all, not for me.

Rose, rose & woody notes, Perfect fragrance for roses lovers, I guess. I don’t get any white flower scent unfortunately. I have a bottle of this for a few years now & only half way through. I found it flat and boring, never took my nose on a journey of aromas wonders !

Gorgeous … My new signature scent… I normally stay away from harsh aquatics but this is floral aquatic..I was desperately looking for a rose scent..done right of course..and this one is it…. Gorgeous..gorgeous..gorgeous….
And yes ..forgot abt longevity….applied at 7 in morning and even after 7 hrs it’s still there…hoping my nose doesn’t gets used to this….
Edited: I should mention the amount of compliments it’s getting me !!! I have men complimenting and hugging me.. sniffing me deeply…well..they’re friends..so its cool..
My female boss also complimented me..and asked me the name of this perfume..which I did tell her reluctantly… 🙁
I would be sad if she gets this for herself..

I was never much of a floral perfume fan until I tried this scent, although I have always loved single flower scents- rose especially, tuberose essential oils, jasmine essentials oils eye.
I purchased this because it makes me feel fresh. It’s light and clean and very feminine.
It’s a lovely ‘garden’ scent …. Not too strong, not over powering. I’m a fan.

  44. :

    4 out of 5

In the bottle and on the test strip, this is a pretty, light, watery floral appropriate for an office or school. It’s polite, unobtrusive and feminine. On me, all I could smell was lilly. I really wanted to like this one on me, but the overwhelming lilly note was too old ladyish for my taste. Skin chemistry again…

  45. :

    5 out of 5

Very onedimensional fragrance that I got as a decant when I bought other perfumes. It smells the same from beginning to end on me. I find the longevity a bit poor, the scent sticks around for about 2 1/2 hours.
The lilies, like always, give me a headache. I don’t know why, but when a scent has any type of lilies in it it always ends up giving me a major headache and sending me into a sneeze fest. Perhaps I’m allergic or something.
I was hoping to smell some of the rose since most people seem to get it, but the lilies overpowered everything. Might just be my chemistry though. I threw the decant out, it’s just doesn’t work on me.

This is the best L’eau d’Issey flanker I have smelt. Its not overpowering with the white florals like some of them are nor is it sickeningly sweet like L’eau D’Issey absolue. It is well balanced and the bottle is really beautiful. The only downside is the lasting power compared to the other flankers.

  48. :

    3 out of 5

While alot of perfumes are too strong on my skin, this one is just right. If you are someone whose body chemistry turns everything intensely overbearing, try this. You can spray alot on and smell delicious and like a fresh flower all day, always soft and never too much. 🙂

  49. :

    5 out of 5

i get a lot of lily and a soft rose. it is more a wet fragrance than dry. its a really soft feminine fragrance. i imagine a light brown or blond haired lady with hair flowing in a soft breeze. she wears a skirt and light light pink shirt. the shirt is rather plain. she is pretty but in way is she an attention grabber. casual perfume. maybe too casual for business professional. nice though but not for me.

  50. :

    3 out of 5

This smells very aquatic and floral from the bottle or on a perfume strip, but becomes quite sharp when applied to my skin, almost detergent-like. I think the orange note becomes a bit too prominent on me. This fragrance reminds me a lot of Lancome Miracle; it’s pleasant, clean and feminine, a very pink scent but perhaps a little sharp on people with certain chemistries. I would advise against blind buying this one.

  51. :

    3 out of 5

I have a deluxe sample of the EDT and I really wanted to like this. I don’t know if it’s the lily, but this goes sour on me. I love citrus, so I don’t think that is what is turning sour. I do get a very authentic fresh rose scent as well, but this is way too watery on me. I just applied a significant amount about five minutes ago and all I get is a tiny whiff of the rose if I smell very closely, and that odd sour note. I think if your body chemistry works with this fragrance, it could be extremely delicate and pretty as other reviewers have stated.

  52. :

    5 out of 5

On my skin it is strong lily, almost ozonic, watery, even if no watery notes are listed. Very delicate fragrance, suitable for someone who likes subtle flowery scents.

  53. :

Oh no. Not nice at all, too woody on me. I hardly smell the rose at all.

  54. :

This one was scrubber for me. I was lured in by its pretty bottle and by its perfume strip, which had very pretty, very pink dry down. But when I sprayed it, I got a face full of flowery windex and a pounding headache. Dreadful.

I have many perfumes in my wardrobe and I was very reluctant to add any more, that being said, I went back to smelling this eau de toilette probably around ten times. I just couldn’t get the smell out of my head, now whenever I wear it, I get a quick compliement from a guy standing near me. It just seems to grab men’s attention lol.

Let me start by saying I love aquatic perfumes: I wear Cool Water, Hyle, Aria di Mare, Michael Kors Island, D&G Le Bateleur, Demeter Salt Air, Sea & Sun in Cadaques, Acqua 330 and many more. So I had high hopes for Issey Miyake perfumes.
However, there is something in the Issey EDTs that just does not work with my skin, and produces a sour, artificial note that I really cannot stand; Eau Florale is no exception. Interestingly, I love the original L’Eau in EDP, but dislike all the EDT versions, including some of the Summer edition flankers, that I have tried.
I shall have to wait for the EDP version of Eau Florale; I really do like the delicate rose-lily note, so I’m hoping it’s just the EDT version which doesn’t work for me.

Very soft, rosy, feminine and light perfume. Longevity and sillage are moderate, but otherwise, perfect perfume for summer and daytime, the note of rose is well balanced, not overwhelming at all.

This perfume is chosen for my wedding day.
It is romantic and feminine. It is light, like the caress of a rose on the skin.

When I smell this, I picture a young Japanese maiden—bathed with rose water and milk—wearing a light pink kimono “resting” with perfect posture; her skin radiates a warm sensuality that melts the snow surrounding her.
It’s elegant, romantic, relaxed yet structured. This perfume leaves a profound (non-fruity or gourmand) sweetness and an aquatic salty muskiness akin to ambergris on my skin.

  62. :

I really love this scent in the sample size, after using 3 samples of Issey florale, I decided to buy the fullsized bottle. And how disappointing it is! Absolutely different from the samples. I think the perfume in fullsized bottle is exactly the same as BVLGARI Omnia Amethyst – the one I hate most, I don’t get any dewy rose note which I used to smell of the samples, only got strong woody lily scent, I feel totally sick of it. I think I was defrauded by trusting those samples 🙁

This is a lovely perfume. My skin has a love-hate relationship with citrus note and sometimes turning them (especially grapefruit) bitter. For this perfume, the orange note is very strong and smells like some yummy orange vanilla (no idea where the vanilla note comes from since it is not listed as a note) which makes me want to lick myself. The rose note also comes in quite strong. This perfume reminds me of eating a piece of orange vanilla cake at a chic cafe which has a beautiful vase of roses on the table.

This is a pretty floral, I like it, it smells delicate, fresh, I enjoy having it in my collection, it isn’t outstanding, yet I like using it on spring days, it is well constructed, I always found the original weird smelling, this one is far prettier, and the longevity is nice.
    Nice job by Alberto Morillas.

I just had tried this today and this one has great sillage and longevity on me, even better than the regular one (still markable after 8 hours +).
really pleasant scent, will certainly buy one!

Very simple. Lily is the star, rose supports nicely in a powdery/sweet way. Fresh, clean. Appropriate for any age. Even though it’s light I think the flowers are “mature” enough to stand up to colder weather.

I’ve loved this since I first time tried it two years ago, but found the sillage too fleeting–only about 2 to 3 hrs–to be FBW. Just last week they were having a buy one get one at my local department store so my friend and I got both got ourselves a bottle. Here are my observations:
The tester at the store was lacking the orange note, however the juice from my new bottle had ample amounts of it, meaning that it’s probably something that dissapates as the perfume ages. Fine with me either way. I got it mainly for the rose, and this will be a fresh, watery rose for the coming spring and summer months. Also, my perfume was longer lasting than the store tester by a couple hours more. I didn’t detect the lily so much. Fresh lilies are so intoxicating, but for better or for worse, neither the tester nor my bottle had much lilies in it. It’s true that this isn’t very original, but I don’t really want to be wearing high-art perfume everyday; I think this would be a very suitable everyday/office/work kind of scent.
I appreciate the original, but on my skin it became almost too astringent and sterile for personal use. The watery rose and mandarin notes in Eau Florale adds softness and juiciness.
EDIT 7 July 2014: I’m going through a purge of my collection this one is going. My taste has just changed. I just don’t like a bunch of my old stuff anymore. Now, this just smells boring and insipid to me.

I love Issey Miyake fragrances because they are delicately uncomplicated.
They all smell very similar…aquatic, woody and floral but they never disappoint!
The rollerball version is portable and reasonably priced.

A delicate rose-based floral. I don’t get much citrus from this, its more of a straightforward floral. I think this could be worn at most occassions without offending anyone. Smells very feminine and pretty. Fairly linear, but smells great from beginning to end.

I thought I would like this and bought a big bottle of it, luckily I got it at Costco and didn’t pay full price at other retailers. My coworker has similar taste in fragrance as I do and she highly recommended this. This does not like my body chemistry at all. I like the smell from the bottle very citrus, I can smell the bitterness of the maderine orange and floral. Smells beautiful but it just does not like my body chemistry, I have the same problem with dkny pure verbena. I love the scent but it leaves a musky drydown. It also have a very sharpe smell, almost burning my nostril hair. I like it better sprayed on fabric, so I will difinitely spray on my cloths instead.

i bought Dior Addict Eau Sensuelle together with this one, interesting..the drydown of both scent is pretty similar on my skin! (or it’s just my nose that is getting confused?) anyway this is another pleasant fresh cooling out of shower experience scent. it stays close to the skin…the only difference i didnt catch any rose scent on my skin, just lily & some woodsy notes.

This is awesome, a lighter interpretation of rose, perfect for spring and summer.. lasts a lot and the bottle is very cute.. at first smell it may look a bit strong, but after that it´s perfect.

Tried this today in the store & fell in Love!!
It is a beautiful rose with a hint of woody undertone. Not overpowering- just very pretty.
It lasts a long time on my skin which most fragrances don’t. Plus the bottle is so pretty.
It’s a must have! It will be the next buy on my list!

Tried this recently, and as much as I wanted to like it it was not for me. The scent was too musky and aquatic for my taste. The rose that emerged was nice but it was not a fresh rose, it remind it me of the potpourri or dried out rose smell. I have never smelled this one on anybody so I can tell if I like it on others! Sample before you buy not a safe blind buy.

    1/3 of rose water
    1/3 of l’eau d’issey
    1/3 of water
    here you are – L’eau d’Issey Florale
It is a little bit sour and ozonic as well but surprisingly I like it

Got a sample of this, and I’m glad I did. This is just not my taste. It’s wearable, but not good. It’s very flowery, but it’s so strong in the beginning, I feel my nosehair is burning!
After 1/2 hour it’s wearable, but a bad lasting power. After 1 hour I have to smell really close to my wrist, to know it’s there.

Smells like water rose, or even a lotus, watery, quite strong and longlasting. This rose smells quite different and not like any one I’ve smelled recently. Seems that most fragrances by Issey Miyake are just t
