Comfy chocolate! Not too sweet, not too annoying, just perfect! Definitely recommend to use Le Chocolat Ambre for a date night as all psyсhologist assure that men prefer sweet “edible” aromas!

This is a nice rich chocolate amber, which unfortunatley, doesn’t really evolve to be anything exceptional. The lemon is really what is needed to spice this up, but it never really comes through. The white florals are there but very faint. They make their presence felt in the dry-down….
but ultimatley this reminds me much of bodywash. I did however spray this on a man and the chocolate made itself feel much more dark and I did detect the lemon. I can’t stand it on me, but didn’t mind it on him.
    hmmmmm

Tis the season to sample chocolate flavored perfume. This is Smoky Ghirardelli Chocolate Fondue. That’s it and that’s all. Amber, Milk, Chocolate and Smoke. Obviously, the white flowers are here but it’s buried along with the lemon. I sampled this without looking at the notes. I’m actually stunned that lemon had any involvement in this perfume. Fragrantica could of easily added “smoky” as an accord. This is a straight up December fragrance meant to be worn with the ugly holiday sweaters haha! Wearing this fragrance any other time of the year would be plain ole weird!

Sitting next to a fire burning a vanilla candle in the background while eating a glorious dark chocolate bar that’s starting to melt because you are sitting too close to the heat. This is warm, creamy, a little sweet and luscious…a grown ups gourmand!!! I don’t get overly sweet or cloying at all! But then I love gourmand scents. Worth a sniff for the gourmand fans out there!!

    L’Antichambre – Le Chocolat AMbre
A dark chocolate topping on the opening with drops of orange syrup… So strong!
Then it changes to a softer chocolate touch with floral notes of Jasmine – creamy floral and it feels good!
A dry amber base, soft like benzoin but delicate.
    Very good – well made!

This is a very rich and spicy chocolate fragrance. Gorgeous. The amber and cacao come through very strongly on me, with the jasmine and vanilla following and lingering delicately in the background. I actually don’t get the lemon, which I would have liked on opening but oh well.. it’s really nice anyway.
The lasting power for this little baby is enormous, you only need a small amount and it projects very well.
An absolutely delightful, complex gourmand fragrance.

Whoa. Talk about life being full of a box of Chocolates.
Well mine certainly is not. However when i got this on
my arms turned into boxes of chocolates and I’m alright with that.

I agree, this doesn’t seem to be the Belgian chocolate we all hanker after.
Not a good gourmand at all for me… it reminds me of Musc Maori by PG which I found vile. Here it isn’t that strong but the smell is close. I don’t like this. Fortunately it disappeared pretty soon off my skin.

Super-strong, super-sweet, and more cloying than I expected. I agree with ‘Tessture’ on this one. It should have been made for my sweet tooth. Alas, it was a big N. O.
Edit: I’m giving this another attempt today. It’s Easter Sunday and there is chocolate all around me and it is torture and I am having none of it in the interest of looking good in white pants in a month’s time. This is PERFECT. 😉

Wood notes, amber, choclate and terrible, super sweet doughy notes. Horrible on me. This is the one absolutely epic fail in the L’antichambre sample set I got ahold of. It won’t scrub off, either, so the longevity and stay-put-ness of these fragrances is excellent. Downside is that this particular scent is just vile on me.
