Description

Laudano Nero by Tiziana Terenzi is a Oriental Spicy fragrance for women and men. Laudano Nero was launched in 2014. The nose behind this fragrance is Paolo Terenzi. Top notes are wormwood, cognac, rosemary, tobacco, myrtle and amber; middle notes are red rose, black locust honey, cedar, iris, sandalwood, rosemary, ash and slate; base notes are cashmere musk, laurels, incense, camphor, agarwood (oud), vetiver, musk, oak, vanilla and labdanum.

Smells like a bar rag at first, then settles into a rose soap and oud scent with a melted vinyl accord. The oud is similar to that used in Ferrari Essence Oud. The rose and iris are clashing in an ugly way with the camphor, laurels and rosemary and should have been omitted. I’m disappointed that I spent 3 bucks on the sample. This unbalanced fragrance seems as if it was carelessly thrown together instead of something that was crafted with any kind of integrity or forethought. The ingredients may well be good quality as it took several washings with soap and water and rubbing alcohol to get it off my skin.

Great writing below especially from Lemon Lime and Zaca, who’ve managed to describe this, and more, far more eloquently than I ever could.
I love this as it has nearly all my favourite notes; tobacco, wormwood, labdanum, incense and I can detect nearly all the others (which is rare for me) it is dark, rich and intoxicating.
All my other bottles cower when I reach for this as none of them can compete with its depth and longevity.
    Majestic.

You want it darker? All too often, in perfume as in life, my answer is “yes” … but not here. Laudano Nero goes just that one shade *too* bitter and dark for me – must be the wormwood / myrtle / camphor I guess. Verges very very close to being a Black Afgano I could actually wear – impressive given that BA makes me run screaming from the room – but even after appreciating it, I can’t love it or think it would work for me.
Punchy, near-acrid, full of character and authentic notes. Bay, vetiver – loads of ‘difficult’ things in here I normally hate – close to an arrogant, overbearing thicket of tough aromatics – but the overall effect is still really compelling, like a savage bouquet garni that’s going to overwhelm everything else in the pot. It’s kind of gamey. Nature wild in funk and claw. Labdanum swinging away in maximum force. Wood and amber sweeten and deepen it a little, but don’t make it any gentler. Not for me, but really impressive if butchy, herbal, punchy naturals are your thing. Moody in the extreme. Sense impression: stratospherically expensive antique Chinese ebony carvings.
I have a lurking doubt that this one might react very differently on different skins and be gentler, warmer and heavier on the spice – lucky them. So strikingly individual that gender is irrelevant but it is a beast definitely tending to the butcher side.

This can be described in 3 words. Dry, sweet and boozy. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing this. This is the last thing I’d ever want to smell like, niche in every sense of the word. Very mature fragrance and I don’t find any appealing characteristics about it, it’s quite obnoxious and what a nightmare it would be having to spend a day being close to someone wearing this beastly concoction. Reminds me of what an apocalypse would smell like. Full on inferno. Nuclear performance. What a suprise…

Smells like a long-ago extinguished campfire. Someone brought cognac along, and poured some over the last remaining embers. The morning after, the wet earth, mixed with the ashes from the fire pit, cognac, and some of the surrounding moss and plants is what I get from this scent. Sweetness from the honey rounds the scent off after 15-20 minutes or so, at which point it kind of smells like a humidor. It is a melancholic and contemplative scent – definitely interesting and unique, if not my style.I do not get a strong resemblance to Tobacco Oud, which has the whiskey and tobacco turned up to 11. This is far more earthy and also less linear.

This is another example of gorgeous oriental aromatic wood. Start is a bit messy/boozy, but that is just for 30min or so, the rest is heavenly woody (the ingredients do not manifest separatly, it is mostly linear blend, hint of cogniac, hint of tobacco, some sweetness, mellow pine, or cold slate, or aromatic oud, the floral notes are pretty non-existent). Very pronounced Oriental note, reminds me Bvlgari Man Black Orient or Clive Chrisitan woody oriental L, of course this is extrait, so everything multiplied and lasting. Love it

A succinct description – dark, dirty, boozy, enigmatic. The opening is awash with the boozy almost-citrus of camphoraceous Cognac – frankly, this almost takes it into cough syrup territory. After a while, it starts to settle down into this dirty darkness which can best be described as a congress of tobacco, oud, incense and amber. The march of the heart notes further brings the ash/slate ‘accord’ into picture. By the drydown, sandalwood stands like a sentinel over the remnants of the tobacco, oud and incense, which lie in a post-euphoric daze.
Despite this description, I’ll say it’s a seriously acquired taste and I personally put it somewhere between like and dislike – certainly not a ‘love’.
Longevity – Effortlessly 12+ hrs. Projection – pretty heavy but maybe less than one would expect an Extrait concentration to provide. Frankly, it’s not a bad thing, considering this is one of those fragrances that I would certainly be wearing for myself and NOT for compliments.
Note – As far as comparisons with Black Afgano go, here’s my take – they start off in a fairly similar fashion (Cognac domination of LN vs wood-incense-hashish paranoia of BA) and gradually move towards each other. At the far end of the drydown (post the 30-hr mark on a scent strip for both of these) they are virtually indistinguishable.

An overly sweet suffocating mess. Feels like I’m being stabbed in the throat. It opens up smelling like PdE’s Wazamba, but promptly takes a totally different path, becoming considerably thicker. Boozy, nutty, woody… Something in that vein. I really can’t tell because my airways are clogging up as a response to the ruthless assault. Simply awful to my nose.
The performance is almost monstrous, which is good if you like this one

When I fist sniffed this straight out of the bottle, it was a like, then 2nd sniff it was a “I love this juice” and I have felt the same ever since.
On my skin, I get the Cedar, cognac & tobacco with honey, oud and after 30minutes the ash and slate come in and stays throughout for the next 10 hours.
To me, it is in the same family as Black Afgano, but no where near the same. This one goes in a different direction with the honey staying through. To some people, they may get a close resemblance, but not my nose. This is a earthy dry ash with a little sweetness, with hidden mystery playing a part.
This fragrance is way up there and will be appreciated very much so by the perfume connoisseurs.

I recieved my decant sample of Laudano Nero a week ago. Since then I have been able to get a full test of this. All I can say is that it’s quite unique in a way. I can see why this is being compared to Black Afgano; I can even pick up a few hints of Gucci’s Intense Oud (the fruitiness). Laudano Nero however still goes on its own direction with the different notes that it uses; for instance, its use of red wine is definitely obvious. Then there are its notes of slate, oak wood, etc. That Black Afgano comparison comes from the oud and smoke notes. Other than that, both fragrances have their own character.
    Scent: 8 / 10
    Projection: 8 / 10
    Longevity: 9 / 10

    review #2:
for $150 (on ebay) this one is easily accessible and IMO, a must have. i stand by my original review that is the best fume i’ve ever blind bought and top 3 for me. if you want an idea of performance, i sprayed this on clothing a year ago i put into a box into a cool basement for storage. i recently opened that box to go through the clothes and the fume is still very strong, pronounced and absolutely gorgeous. same story when it hits the skin, expect 12+ hrs. boozy and dark, melts on my skin and makes me feel like i’m on another planet.
does one need to smell every single note in a fume to enjoy it or call it remarkable because it’s so obvious? i don’t think so. love, love, love, always love.

I don’t get this scent at all as in it’s a mish mash of notes, none of which really work well together! I would certainly try before buying, especially at price,

This is nice, but way over hyped. It’s certainly no where near a masterpiece. Its first 25 minutes are below par, but it does getter better after that. It’s a resinous woody fragrance with hints of cognac, honey and amber. There is no tobacco. In fact most of the notes listed are not present. If there, they’ve been drowned out.
Lovers of woods could possibly love this, so I get its praise.

The most popular fragrance from the Italian niche house of Tiziana Terenzi, Laudano Nero (Black Labdanum) is a beautifully blended, less synthetic and lighter version of the insanely popular niche Black Afgano. A smoky, sweet, balsamic and noirish affair, this modern sophisticated Oriental is built around a central labdanum note. The notes can take up a whole recipe book: wormwood, cognac, rosemary, tobacco, myrtle, amber, rose, honey, cedar, iris, sandalwood, rosemary, ash, cashmere, laurel, incense, camphor, oud, vetiver, musk, oak, and vanilla (phew!). Perfectly unisex, with pronounced sillage, projection and longevity. Beautifully evolving on skin in its shape shifting dark layers and perfect for cold days. Does remind you of a wintry day around the Paris fashion shops. One of the classics of modern perfumery.

You can tell that a lot of love and craftsmanship went into making this fragrance. However, what you have to understand is that this really is a “scent of place.” It is “dark,” but there’s a lot more. The main accords in this beauty are a woody accord, an herbal one, a boozy one, a gourmand one, and an ashy one. Yeah… that’s a lot of stuff going on. Still, it all works together to paint a nice picture. It’s like you’re sitting by the fireplace wrapped in a cashmere wool blanket as you’re drinking fine cognac and eating honeyed sweets on a cold night in a wooden cabin.
This is the scent I like to reach for when I want to feel cozy. Projection is at least on the average side, but it DOES last. Olfactory fatigue is low, so it’s great for personal enjoyment with 1-2 sprays underneath my shirt for nice wafts all day. When going out I use around 4. For the quality and complexity, I got this at a bargain price of $75. It took me a few wearings to fully appreciate it, but I’m really glad I got it. One of my favorite scents ever.

I immediately say that my expectations have been disappointed.
I had great hopes on this scent … but I was disappointed. it is not a bad scent but is not a dark scent. it is a scent that changes too many faces.
it has too many facets. sometimes it looks dark, sometimes sweet, sometimes aromatic, sometimes spicy. it’s not as dark as I thought. and then in the end I hear only brandy and licorice that is not listed(licorice) and much wood. it’s not a bad smell but all this hype is unjustified. if you want a drunk sweet that sometimes seems dark ok. but my rating is 6/10 excellent performance. but strong disappointment.

I had this about 2 years ago and didn’t think much of it and it wasn’t really my style so sold it. I repurchased this a week ago just because it was a good price ad I had a huge urge to buy something so that is exactly what I did. This time around, I kind of do like it and am learning to appreciate it’s nuances.
What I get mainly from it is boozy notes, sometimes incense, labdanum, honeyed tobacco, honeyed amber… I get different things at different times so this changes quite a bit and as someone complimented me last night ‘caramel’… hahaha I personally never got that from it but I guess the sweetness and the mix of notes can be interpreted as caramel through someone’s nose.
What I like about this is the incense and labdanum that I sense at different stages. The sweetness is omnipresent and is akin to someone who isn’t dirty but hasn’t showered in a few days and they omit this honeyed kind of weird smell, not unpleasant just a tad uncomfortable but I am ignoring that and going with lighter sprays and enjoying it this time around. I do sometimes just spray it in place of a deodorant because it is going to project anyway!
The quality is really good as I have noticed with other Terenzi fragrances. Nothing smells synthetic or out of place or incomplete. Liking the smell is a different matter entirely.
It is kind of sweet and can be outright cloying at times even in the cold weather. I would go with no more than 2-3 sprays in autumn and maximum 4-5 in the winter. I would never wear this in the warmer weather. Yes, it is potent. The ones I normally don’t like so much are always so potent!
I think it would be something that would appeal to the younger crowd due to the comparisons with other fragrances (which I personally haven’t felt) and maybe that aforementioned gourmand effect but I think this would really suit a mature minded well dressed man aged 32+ as it doesn’t come across as a younger guys fragrance and has a somewhat sombre mood despite it’s sweetness which is not a bad thing. Can be worn casually, formally and even on a night out like I did. Just go light on the sprays please! 😀

  23. :

    4 out of 5

I think this is way over hyped. They list so many notes, but I can’t recognize any oud; mostly camphor, Labdanum, rum and sweetness, some vague woody notes and rosemary.
It’s nice in the Winter cold.

  24. :

Received a sample from Notino’s; some of the notes:
[Wormwood, Cognac, Tobacco, Amber, Red rose, Cedar, Iris, Sandalwood, Cashmere, Incense, Camphor, Oud, Vetiver, Musk, Vanilla, & Labdanum].
Now the abovementioned notes are blended very well together. I can’t say that I recognize them individually though.
With that, in the opening I get an extreme dose of what I would call cherry tobacco.
As this initial smell fades the combined notes give you a RICH, dark, SWEET Rosy Incensey laden smell. Followed by some Sandalwood Cashmere-ish, woodsy [cedar] goodness-could there be perhaps a Cherry wood vibe I am picking up?!?!. [breathe]
In my opinion, this fragrance is very inviting but sharp. In the dry down you are left with this spicy sweet velvety (maybe even suede-like) fragrance resting on a woodsy foundation!
    Nice it is!!
I cannot comment on the similarity to Black Afgano, however, as I sat trying to figure out why this smell was so familiar, it hit me……….
Laudano Nero reminds me of Dzhari of Phaedon without the sharpness. That sweet almost suede-like feel with a spice-incense vibe, even Bois 1920 Relativamente Rosso. Both sharing a dark, sweet ambery essence!
    Performance: 8/10
    Projection: 8/10
    Silage:8.5/10
    Longevity: 10/10
    Overall: 8.5/10
P.S. I must say, the longevity on this is GIGANTIC and that’s because its concentration is Extrait de Parfum; (…containing 15% and 40% of oil concentration; known to contain the most precious raw materials in comparison to the respective eau de parfum versions which has a fragrance concentration of between 15% and 20%).
When I sprayed Tiziana Terenzi’s Laudano Nero onto the back of my hand, it literally lasted 2 days gradually dissipating. Extrait de Parfums have the highest fragrance concentration and this is the reason this fragrance lasted so long.
This is a nice fragrance overall!
(…looking to maybe add this to my wardrobe; pulled the trigger-added [10/26, received 11/1])! What a wonderful sweet semi-dark woodsy fragrance!

  25. :

    5 out of 5

WOW! Yes, this is some great stuff! Laudano Nero is dark, woody, smoky, ashy, boozy and slightly sweet. A masterpiece IMO.
I do get the similarities to Black Afgano, Tobacco Oud and Amber Absolute. It is almost like Black Afgano and Tobacco Oud got together and had a child. Then that child got together with Amber Absolute and had a child. In young adulthood (the beginning of dry down) the prodigy child discovers high end booze and enjoys indulging… a lot… and soon begins to smoke. As the young adult becomes a mature adult (full dry down) LN begins to realize the futility of his current path and begins to mimic his great grand father Black Afgano, but a bit more mellow and not as deep and dark. And then spends the rest of his time making his forefathers proud.
I get good projection and longevity on my skin. LN can be warn in casual or formal attire. I see LN is more masculine than feminine, but I would still consider it a unisex scent.
Bottom line: If you like darker scents or the notes / comparisons in the reviews here, you should try a sample. If you like fresh clean scents, you will probably not like this one.

If Batman had a signature scent I bet this would be it. I have never been to Paris but when I smell the dry down I could imagine myself walking alone in a cobblestone covered street, on a dark and rainy night.
When I first sprayed it on my arm I was like O MY GOD! This stuff is so complex and intriguing. Absolutely wonderful.
Does have the same dark, mysterious vibe as Black Afgano but is different in smell. It has a touch of softness and sweetness which Black Afgano lacks. It is a better alternative to BA for people who don’t want to spend an arm and a leg to own one. Worth each and every penny! Go get your nose on this one.
Only recommended for people who have a highly developed sense of smell and who want to experience the higher level of perfumery. If you are a youngster who wants to impress the masses, this is definitely not for you. This one is for the more mature crowd and for the gentlemen out there. Will get you noticed and make you stand apart from the crowd. I’m impressed. Highly recommend it.
I can smell all the individual notes and the transition from the opening to the dry down is just marvelous. This is mostly a night time and cool weather scent. Does not do well in daytime or in heat.

Half spray on my hand. Im not gonna lie. I almost puke when i first smelt it, i was definitely scared of it. 30minutes in and that half spray is still projecting like crazy but it becomes softer at the hour mark. It envelopes you, like it or no. It becomes more bearable as time goes on, less harsh, i get whiffs of it. It feels warm, definitely only a winter scent in my opinion. But i cant stand it when i sniff it up too close. Just not for me.

  30. :

    3 out of 5

There is not much to add to what other reviewers have already eluded to. Laudano Nero does come off as similar to Nasomatto’s Black Afghano.
However, there are subtle differences. I find LN is moister in texture whilst BA is drier. This effect could be due to the presence of cognac and honey together.
Moreover, if you can imagine a spectrum where BA is at one end (i.e very dry) and Amouage’s Interlude Man (very moist) at the other end, then LN sits somewhere in between.
I hope that makes sense otherwise I might be too intoxicated!!!

  31. :

This is certainly not a perfume for perfume armatures.
if popular perfumes such as J’Adore could be likened to ‘Gin & Tonic’ then Laudano Nero is a very complex ‘shiraz’.
incredibly complex, I liken it to the dance of seven veils, each veil dropping to the floor to give way to a new note.
Strong, dark, complex. IMO a winter perfume only, this would clear rooms in summer heat. In my vast collection I can only liken it to two others,
    Lalique, Encre Noire A L’Extreme
    Givenchy, Eaudemoiselle Essence des Palais
If you love these then by all means order a bottle, otherwise Not a safe blind buy.

Initially I got a sweet brandy note that was almost candied and cordial-like. At first I couldn’t understand what all the raves were about for Laudano Nero.
Underwhelmed, I started to test another on my other wrist. Then beautiful smoky woods and a touch of oud spiraled from my daub of Laudano Nero.
I can indeed smell ash but it’s not dusty or dry, more like the sweet ash that is formed on a just-burned musky labdanum and amber incense stick.
The scant touch of tobacco is warm, moist and sweet. I pick up the slightest hint of bay laurel and dark nutty vanilla. Sandalwood is delicate but decadent in the drydown. I smell more bitter artemsia than camphor as far as the subtle green notes go.
I’ve worn this a few times now and vacillate back and forth between wanting to add this to my collection and not. It’s indeed a beautiful blend but borders on being another rosy labdanum incense with too many subtleties to captivate me all the way. I wish at least one or two of the more interesting notes were amplified, but then again that would probably make this fragrance more polarizing and less wearable. As it is, I think this is a great addition for anyone who is looking to add a wearable, smoky, woody incense fragrance to their collection.

  34. :

A wearable sibling of Black Afgano
These two smell very similar but where the Nasomatto gets tiresome and too loud imho, Laudano Nero works wonderfully on the skin and clothes, being something people will ask you about since the sillage and longevity are great but never overdoing it. I respect and sort of like Black afgano but after some minutes on my skin I feel a bit claustrophobic with it, you just can’t escape its cloud. It is also more monolithic smelling for hours the same way… here there is more development.
I guess the main difference is that where BA focuses on the “harsh-ish” note, Laudano nero plays it more safe with a gorgeous cognac note and a strong tobacco that give the whole a cosier sweet touch. Don’t get me wrong though: Laudano nero is also a dark scent and it’s very charming. A safe blindbuy (unlike the Nasomatto) and very niche style to my nose.

Oh.My.Stars. I loved this one right from the start, and everything about it from the top notes to the dry down. Many hours later I can still smell it and all the different notes. It definitely can’t be accused of being linear! All the notes work amazingly well together.
Because of this gorgeous, mystifying scent, I fell in love with me while wearing it and now want to make mad passionate love to myself.

  36. :

If this smells like Black Afgano, that I don’t own it and never sampled, but I am intrigued by it, then it’s a pass for me. This is another TT disappointment for me. The other one was Ecstasy (on my skin is just a pungent 70’s hair do spray). Laudano Nero is quiet, not pungent; in fact it is a skin scent in less than an hour and it has no wow factor. I am a fan of dark, mysterious, enigmatic but pleasant scents. This is dark (as in Black Afgano, I guess) but not pleasant. Fortunately is not revolting either. It’s just not worth a full purchase for me. I am wanting to try Al Contrario, but now, after two disappointments, I wonder if I still want to give TT a chance on my olfactive discoveries.

  37. :

    3 out of 5

I am obsessed with perfumes. As a matter of fact, I am so obsessed that every now and then I feel like grabbing 3 or 4 of my favorite ones and simply spray them all on me so that I can drown myself in bliss . . .
But then I realize I am 47 years old and perhaps I should get serious.
Upon discovering, spraying & sniffing Laudano Nero, my olfactory space-time continuum came to a halt. I found myself suspended within a stationary universe of unprecedented euphoria. Even if I had dreamt of this scent, it would still not be that good.
Laudano Nero is (to me) a familiar yet unique blend of some of my most beloved accords. I detect the densely aromatic boozy opening of Idole de Lubin (edp), the aroma of sun dried fresh tobacco leaves in 1740 (or Tobacco Oud), the tamed sweet oud note in Black Oud (LM Parfums) and/or Black Afgano and finally some leathery animalic nuances reminiscent of Montecristo.
Laudano Nero not only encompasses all of the above but successfully elevates them to a higher level of quality, refinement & sophistication. From its opening to its everlasting drydown the complexity of its composition never ceases to challenge the senses. All of its main accords are ingeniously complemented by notes of fresh coffee, dark chocolate, warm amber & aged dusty woods that enhance the richness, the opulence & the mystery of its aroma.
Laudano Nero is a good excuse (for me) to be obsessed with undiscovered perfumery.
    10/10

I recently purchased a sample from Luckyscent. Today is my second time wearing it… The sample is in the type of vial where you dab it on, instead of misting.
My thoughts: I LOVE this fragrance. For me, there is nothing jarring or out of place. It has this delicious aroma that expands, contracts and mellows throughout the day. Very harmonious. It is a seductive scent that draws you in. I can’t stop sniffing my wrists. I WANT MORE.
The first wearing, when I opened the vial, I got a whiff of green, most notably the laurels. It had that momentary sharpness that you smell when you break a leaf or a green twig off a branch. I dabbed it on, and immediately noticed honey, vanilla, and cognac. Warm, delicious, but not cloying. Then it settled down into wood smells, I particularly noticed cedar, sandalwood and oak. I got occasional whiffs of tobacco and oud at random times throughout the day.
On the second wearing, I really notice tobacco, cognac, and cedar + sandalwood moments.
I haven’t caught the rose or iris yet, but I’m hoping to experience that.
(Nor have I noticed what I think of when you say “incense”: that smoky, nostril-burning stuff at church, or that headache-inducing stuff you smell at certain types of bohemian shops).
Today it is 80 degrees, and walking around outside, I could smell myself, but I didn’t think it was too much for the warmer weather. I’m not sure how this will work out when it gets to 90.
Seriously, I can’t stop sniffing my wrists. I will definitely purchase this in the future.
This fragrance doesn’t read gender-specific to me. It is simply divine.
That is… after I test drive some other Tiziana Terenzi fragrance samples.

The unrelenting heavy sweet boozy woods in this makes me a little woozy and nauseous. Definitely more masculine. I do not understand the comparisons to Sahara Noir which is dry and dusty and subtle and nuanced and most certainly unisex. This is a thick liquor wooden plank to the head, like Zoologist Rhinoceros underwent genetic mutations, and the result was so dark the rhino became an alcoholic.

The insert booklet that came with this perfume introduces Laudano Nero as an interpretation of Paris on a rainy autumn day. ???
How pedestrian! Because what I smell are the fumes of a deadly and most definitely illicit substance. Does that sound bad? it is not. This is what I imagine the smoke wafting from the pipe of Alice in Wonderland’s caterpillar smells like. Or perhaps a monastery of rogue monks who converted their basement into an opium den; the air still thick with the honeyed echo from their now defunct mead distillery (They still pump out a few bottles as a decoy)
My imagination has turned this perfume into and dangerous and dare I say thrilling adventure down darker alleys (none of which are in Paris) with no threat to body or mind. What a bargain!
So I love this perfume is what I’m saying. Probably my favorite. Officially ranking perfumes is taxing for me.
Practicalities: This stuff is really strong, be mindful of your loved ones and spray sparingly. Longevity is admirable. It will last all day. The price is very reasonable given the quality, complexity, and longevity of the product.

A fragrance with lot of personality, a dark scent with many deep layers and…lot of COGNAC! I get a woody-boozy vibe from it and a rich resinous amber that blends in beautifully. It is a fragrance that makes an impression, a very good example of the niche perfumery.
To me Laudano Nero is not similar to Black Afgano as some say, they go in different directions even if they both share the dark-woody aspect. The main difference would be the strong cognac note that you can find here.
Good performance and great price point!

Smells like Armani Prive Encens Satin but with added cognac and extra spices. There is also something there that smells like sweet amaretto.
It leaves a very oily patch your skin, which can last for over an hour. Projection and sillage is low.

If you love your scents thick, syrupy, resinous and complex, I would consider this blind buy worthy. But only if you’ve been initiated into the world of ambery niche fragrances.
Aristocratic booziness mixed with treacly honey, an undertone of aromatic tobacco leaves and a whiff, just a whiff, of medicinal oud. If I didn’t already own Farmacia SS Annunziata’s Ambra Nera, I may buy a full bottle. Laudano Nero (love the name) is dustier and dryer. In fact, this is one of the driest fragrances I’ve ever tried. I cannot get over the pumice/ash not
