This has been designed for all perfume collectors! Especially those that love bottle designs. It’s outrageoulsly pretty, truly madly, deeply.
So it’s a high grade chic, silky white floral, with a sexy thin veiled powder trail. It’s very close to the original L’air composition but the fresher notes are slightly muted. There is an expensive soapiness which has feminine simplicity. There isn’t an obvious woody or oaky, animalic scent. The amber is huggable and gentle and the spice is covered with a lace sheet of sprinkled powder.
This fragrance could easily be a Chanel meets Estée Lauder , then kisses Dior.
It’s Romantica in a bottle, it’s your wedding day perfume, the perfume you gift someone on their wedding day or a fragrance you wear over silk lingerie or a satin kimono.
Harrods were selling this perfume as an exclusive for a lot of coins it was at least £250 which is definetley pathetic. I contacted Puig. I wanted to know details. Harrods staff told me that the bottle was Cristal and it was made by Lalique. Puig emailed me to tell me that was not valid. It’s not true.
So why so expensive why so exclusive?
The feathers attached to the crystalline doves , the beautiful lid design are hand placed by Lemarié feather craft specialists, the last in the world. The crystalline doves have been adorned with spotless white feathers. This pays tribute to the couture heritage of the legendary fragrance.
Very pretty!
Absolutely not worth the Harrods price. I paid 85% less via reputable perfume retailers with free delivery.
The fragrance is soft and it is intimate and I cannot stop staring at it.
I would absolutely have this as wedding fragrance sitting on my dressing table in a boudoir fit for a queen or Bride to be.
Alas!
As I am an unmarried minx I’ll enjoy this from my perfume display cabinet and spritz whenever I feel like falling in love.
It’s classic, it’s delicate it’s one to treasure.
