Description

Angelina Jolie was chosen as the face of the new perfume from the house of Guerlain, Mon Guerlain, coming out in March 2017. Jacques Guerlain said: “We create perfumes for the women we admire.”

Thierry Wasser was inspired by the “notes of a woman”, or “the choices, emotions and dreams that embody modern femininity.” The fragrance will be launched for the international market, with the notes of lavender and vanilla. Mon Guerlain was created by Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk.

I wasn’t expecting to really like this, but actually, I love it. The two main notes are indeed lavender and vanilla, combining to become that undeniable licorice smell that these two notes produce when put together. This perfume is sweet and sunny. I can smell that same scent in Lancôme’s Hypnose, although in Mon Guerlain it is much warmer and relatable. A beautiful, bottle worthy perfume. My only complaint is that it doesn’t last very long on my skin.

Oh my, this perfume! This perfume has a magical quality to it. There is something ethereal and so profoundly beautiful in it – something that I can’t quite describe in words. It makes me think of a late evening near a lake or a calm morning in a lavender field. I think it is a perfect scent for a sunny autumn or an early spring.
This is a delicate scent, but it lasts and has decent sillage. When I first sprayed it on my wrist, I wasn’t too impressed – it smelled like a mess of notes. It was like somebody had really good ingredients for a cake, but couldn’t be bothered to make the most of them, so decided to throw all of them in a bowl and let them be.
After 10 minutes or so though, the initial mess is all gone. On my skin, the only notes that shine through are lavender, vanilla and bergamot. The lavender is herbal in a soothing way, while the vanilla is buttery and reminiscent of a fancy pastry shop. The bergamot offers a slightly sour feeling to the mix. These three notes blend amazingly on my skin, but I have to wait a bit for them to show up.
Throughout the day, some notes shine brighter than the others. It’s like a competition at times, but at the end of the day, they all make up and complete each other.
I love this perfume, so go give it a test sniff, if you haven’t already.

A beautiful woman in a cashmere sweater walking through a lavender field with a beautiful sky. She has vanilla beans in her pockets. A tap of powder in the morning. Absolutely love this fragrance!

Sweet, fresh and warming. Vanilla and lavender with spicy undertones.
Such a beautiful perfume, I love it.

It was a disappointment to me ,it doesn’t smell like vanilla to me ,too much of a levander scent,I ll consider this as a fresh levander-spicy perfume, which reminds me of a clothing store smell.Just not for me.Longevity is pretty good though

I recently bought This one based on rewievs and notes. So dissapointed… Too sweet and too ordinary. Im a Big fan of Guerlain.. But ufortunately not this one.. It gives me The same headache like feeling that I got from RL Tender Romance.. You cant win em all. Silage and longevity is average. Mon Guerlain … you leave me unimpressed

Don’t love it don’t hate it. Just an average perfume.Using just the tester and not going to buy it. It misses the WOW factor.

I just recently purchased this scent after watching so many amazing reviews and reading the notes and scent profiles. I love powdery, vanillic and floral scents. And even though this one is all of that I don’t really care for it. It’s not that it’s bad either. It’s just uninspiring and the longevity leaves something to be desired. Looking to trade my 3 ounce bottle. I’ve only used twice.

I tested 3 Mon Guerlain flankers today on cards and they were all disappointing. A few months ago I was considering blind buying the original, but now I’m really glad I didn’t. I want more excitement in my fragrances.

It’s a warm, sweet, vanilla scent. This perfume is not extraordinarily impressive to me but I can understand why so many people like it. There is something decent and classy about it. The top note is not overwhelming, and it settles down a very pleasant scent. Both longevity and sillage is moderate.
Bottom line: I like it and would recommend for ladies over 25.

Sweet vanilla menthol perfume. I wear it to work and I get complimented a lot. My colleagues can even “smell” whether I am in the office or not (very intense sillage!). Unfortunately, this perfume is getting very mainstream.
As for my personal opinion – I absolutely adore it. My husband loves it even more.

There’s nothing unique about this fragrance. I tried to find something different about it but it smells like typical perfume. I love Guerlain but this one did not win my interest.
And so much the worse if Angelina Jolie is the face for Mon Guerlain…Can not stand this obnoxious woman.

It smells like gentle refined version of a*men pure havane, especially from the middle to the dry down those scents like sister and brother. The big defrinces only in the opening where Mon Guerlain strikes with lavender and pure havane with wet tobacco honey but even then I can recognize clear relations between both.

  15. :

    4 out of 5

It’s beautiful especially the initial spray as it smells very interesting. However as it dries down, it smells a little bit similar to Shalimar Souffle de Parfum which is not surprising since both are from the house of Guerlain.

  16. :

    4 out of 5

A sophisticated, spicy vanilla scent. As a top note I always sense a sweet liquorice with vibrant vanilla and it quickly settles to a soft and sweet musk with some floral notes. Definitely an attention-grabbing, feminine and classy scent. However the over-advertisement puts me off as so many people have this now. The only thing special about this fragrance is the vibrant opening but the base notes smell like many sweet musky scents out there.

I’m always glad to see October come with its bright leaves and cooling temperatures. It means I can start wearing the Orientals I love so much, which are far too heavy and cloying with summer’s heat.
I have a subscription to a monthly perfume service, and when I saw Mon Guerlain, I clicked on it instantly. I have Shalimar, and it is a favorite, so I thought I’d try this one.
It’s absolutely lovely, but it doesn’t play out on my skin as I expected it to do, given the listed notes. The first scents I get are lavender and citrus, and I really liked this combination; it seemed very bright. As it progresses, out comes vanilla. This isn’t a cheap vanilla, but something smooth and creamy and delicious smelling. It’s wonderful, which is a good thing, because for me, the progression of scents ends right there. Nothing else but vanilla–no jasmine, rose, sandalwood, patchouli. My skin loves those last two, so I expected them to bloom. But I never caught them at all. After the opening, it’s straight vanilla for me. I don’t mind, as it’s a gorgeous vanilla, rounded and smooth. Just a bit unexpected, given how I know certain scents usually play out for me. The longevity for me is *amazing,* given I could still smell it on my skin twelve hours later, though by that time strictly a skin scent, without projection.
Although it didn’t turn out as I expected, I have nothing bad to say about this scent. It’s clearly quality and I’m pleased with it as it is. If I had to pick between this and Shalimar, it would be the latter, no contest. I will happily use up my sample, but have no interest in purchasing a bottle of it.
It’s always interesting to see how others perceive scents, how they smell things in it that I don’t. Body chemistry is a funny thing, right?

The first spray for me is sparkly with bright lavender notes, followed by tobacco and then vanilla. For the first hour, I can’t get past the tobacco notes. I don’t smell any sandalwood at all, ever.
After about an hour, the dry down is way better on my skin, with mostly lavender notes popping up ever so slightly with a party of smoke and leather; the silage is moderate at best.
My final impression is that of an aged Parisienne prostitute, sitting on the edge of her rumpled bed, smoking a cigarette looking very, very sad….

  19. :

    5 out of 5

It had a nice lavender and lime thing going at the opening. Unfortunately, within an hour, all that was left was the smell of vanilla candle wax and old cigarettes. Four hours later, the lavender is back in full force, overpowering all else. It’s not awful, but it’s not me. I agree with sensory_journ that I would not want this to hang around on my sheets and shirts.

I’ve been using this perfume for about a year now, on and off. I reviewed it back when I first purchased it. I adored it, and still do. My only gripe is that, although sweet and beautiful when first applied, and for the first day – the second day, and for a long, long, time after that, it leaves a smokey, cigarette type smell on clothes and sheets, which seems to get worse as time goes on. Even after washing that smell can linger. For that reason I started trying hard not to get the perfume on fabric, but it still gets on collars and cuffs if sprayed on the neck and wrists. It’s upsetting because the initial burst of the perfume is so pleasing.

Mon Guerlain is a pretty scent, with mainly tonka and vanilla accords to my nose and a hint of lavender. It’s very creamy and easy to wear, does not project massively or last a particularly long time. It is a nice fragrance but lacks any wow factor. Good for every day use, for me, anyway. Pleasant, sophisticated & definitely a crowd pleaser.

I LOVE LOVE Mon Guerlain! It makes me feel like a grown up LOL! It’s a beautiful, smooth, feminine scent. Great sillage and lasting power and the bottle is classic and beautiful.

Lavender talc and burnt sugar on me just makes me feel nauseous I am afraid.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

Soft and pretty lavender and vanilla…I think. Sadly, I seem to be anosmic to much of it. The scent is so soft to me that even as soon as I spray it on, I need to stick my nose right into my skin to smell anything at all.

Never had a bottle of this, not even a teeny tiny one, but every time I check in Ulta, I come to say “Hi” to this beauty, hoping this might be finally the day when I leave the store with orange Ulta bag in my hand with this critically acclaimed masterpiece created by famous french perfume house, inside. Mon Guerlain does have a cute bottle, it also has my favourite licorice and tonka beans notes as a base and wonderful citrusy opening. However, there is one thing that turns me off and breaks my heart into pieces: it’s the lavender note. I can see how lavender is a symbol of famous Provence region in France, but, in my opinion, it does not belong to this fragrance composition. Unfortunately for me (and others who are not fans of lavender notes) it is too noticeable to ignore. Will keep waiting for a flanker without a lavender I guess. Hear me Universe!

A restrained yet casual version of Tonka Imperiale, or say a balanced and refined version of Dior Feve Delicieuse, or even a herbal take on TF Noir Extreme / Noir pour Femme. Yes, they are all iterations of Tonka Imperiale itself.
I would be happy if someone wearing this next to me.
Rating: 6/10 for original; 7/10 for Florale flanker.

This is what I want to smell like for the rest of my life.
The most beautiful scent I’ve ever encountered. Sheer sophistication. I don’t have the words to describe it. For me all the notes blend together so perfectly. It makes me feel calm and happy.
Warm, fluffy, powdery and slightly ever so slightly sweet.
I will never be without this one

I love this scent…but I have no idea where to wear it. I travel a lot for work and I always have different scents for different places and situations. Not sure yet where this one will end up. It is upscale with a lavender floral feel…for work but a special outdoor event…a wedding maybe. It is unique but not in a “smell me from a mile away” kind of way. I am glad I bought it…and I soon will know this will be a classic for me.

This is based on a manufacturer sample of the EDP.
This is a warm, sweet cozy scent, one that I think of as youthful. I can imagine a beautiful young woman putting on a fuzzy sweater on the first cool day of fall and spraying this on. The woman also happens to be wearing Uggs and leggings and drinking a pumpkin spice latte. Translation: it’s kind of basic, nothing groundbreaking, another take on the sweet, young scents that seem to be saturating the market right now. I would also say it leans more casual than formal, though the gourmand quality probably makes it alluring enough for a date.
While I don’t think of these as cozy notes, what I smell when I first sprayed was strong citrus (I guess the bergamot) followed by a more subdued lavender. In my mind lavender is more of a “cool” scent to be paired with lemony fresh or aftershave type scents, but in this context it is interesting. The bergamot fades away quickly and the lavender takes a back seat to leave a very sugary, vanilla tonka bean scent.
I can’t pick out any of the floral notes listed at all, nor can I detect sandalwood or patchouli. Everything is wrapped up in the warm, sweet, cozy hug of the basenotes. Eventually a tiny hint of spiciness comes through to compliment the vanilla, could this be the benzoin? At times I can catch a hint of the so-called Guerlinade base but for the most part all I get is the warm sweet smell. Interestingly, on the inside of my wrist I get a little combo of powder/smoke/spice a la Shalimar, but it doesn’t show up on the back of my hand. Skin chemistry is weird.
While pleasant, this would never be something I buy a bottle of or wear regularly. It’s too boring…no hard edges or intrigue save for the first few seconds of top notes. I tend to go more for loud bright white florals or classic oriental fragrances. I’ll definitely use up my sample, though, because the opening is enjoyable and interesting, and the other aspects are pleasant enough. I’ll save it for a nice crisp fall day and a fuzzy sweater, Uggs and PSL optional. 🙂

All I can think of when I wear this scent is campfire, cocoa, twigs and treetops. It makes no sense.
I can’t place it. It smells so much more seductive and deeper than its color and look would suggest. I absolutely love this fragrance.

Received a couple of samples when I repurchased Liu by Guerlain, a scent I have returned to since I discovered it in the 80’s.
Found Mon Guerlain warm and pleasant at the beginning. Received several compliments but I found it ever so slightly too “loud” after a couple of hours. Warm, yes, but lacking in the usual complex and elegance of the House of Guerlain.

  35. :

    5 out of 5

A warm, soft lavender. There is vanilla, but it’s not powdery–a very refined vanilla , and tonka to add more body (and the Guerlain vibe I guess).
It’s a good smelling perfume, very agreeable to wear. And there is nothing wrong with that.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

Powder, for me, is a dirty word; and when I first read reviews calling it powdery, it made me hesitant to try my sample.
Fortunately, this does *not* smell like bathroom / carpet freshener! It is a lovely blend of vanilla, lavender, and jasmine that – in true Guerlain fashion – lasts at least 9 hours. Definitely quality.
This, and Atelier’s “Vanille Insensee,” are the two fragrances on which I’ve received the most compliments. Clearly, my skin loves vanilla. In this case, though, the fragrance is a floral that’s actually FLORAL (and not a powdery mess), with gorgeous notes of lavender (that isn’t too heavy) and jasmine, at the start. Then it dries down to a lovely floral vanilla, and the final dry down even has hints of soft caramel. Great longevity, and decent sillage (people walking past my desk smelled me and complimented the perfume). This is a fragrance wonderful for both work and a date night. My sample ran out a long time ago, but I should get a bottle.

I bought a Mon Guerlain gift set a couple months ago after smelling a carded sample; it was like a drug and I needed that fix!! Bergamot here is so well-done, balancing perfectly with the herbaceous lavender and sweet vanilla. I haven’t really wanted to wear any other perfumes since I got MG… Really considering changing my signature scent!

I was expecting something in the line of La vie est belle, Jimmy Choo, Coco mademoiselle, flowerbomb or other pink juice in clear bottles that seem.to be so popular these days! But to me this is Sooo much better!!! I think it’s because the patchouli, wich i’m not a huge fan of, is much more on the back ground, more subtle, and gives this perfume just what it takes to have some back bone without killing all the other notes! It is almost a gourmand fragrance, but not quite there, wich is just perfectly sweet! It’s a very good perfume!

Not my cup of tea anymore. It never really was but I did like it for a week when it first came out. However I started hating it almost . My cousin bought it also and I could not handle the smell on her either to the point where all I could smell was ashtray. Like a smoker.
I really hope the EDT is nicer without the smoky smell.
I am huge lavender and vanilla fan , so I am sad I don’t like it as it’s a gergous bottle and a great name.
I enjoy Jersey and Boy as well as the new Malle ( music for a while ) they are all lavender ~vanilla’s ,but done much nicer I find.

Mon Guerlain has become so painful for me to wear, but it is still so beautiful to me that it is worth enduring. I picked up a bottle in duty free in the summer of 2017 before boarding an international flight to meet for the first time somebody with whom I had spoken online for the two years prior. On this trip, I wore Mon Guerlain almost exclusively, since I could only manage to fit one other perfume bottle into my carryon (which, for those curious, was L’Heure Bleue—ironic that it now shares its melancholy with Mon Guerlain).
I distinctly remember holding the unopened box and caressing the embossed letters through the sealed duty free bag the whole flight to my layover destination, where I finally couldn’t help myself anymore and tore into it to spritz the fragrance a couple times on my skin. From layover to my final destination, from the day I touched down to the day I took off, the moments I didn’t smell of this perfume were few and far between. Memories of this trip are so distinctly vivid because of Mon Guerlain, and if otherwise they would begin to fade away, Mon Guerlain won’t let them. For better or worse.
Over a year has since passed since this trip, and I am reminded that nothing lasts forever. The love of my life and I no longer speak; the vanilic veil of sugared lavender and shades of lilac purple fade; the rose-tinted liquid nears the bottom of the bottle; and the bottle itself is chipped at one corner, itself reminiscent of a unique memory, but one which makes Mon Guerlain even harder to wear because each time I dare spray it, the bottle cuts my hand. The symbolism doesn’t go unnoticed, but I can’t help but allow Mon Guerlain an immensely special place in my collection and in my heart.

for some reason Mon Guerlain gets stuck at the top notes, the lavendar is too strong to the point where it burns my nose. it smells like Miss Dior (2017) with lavendar in it. super generic, you can do better Guerlain.

This is just gorgeous. The vanilla and the lavender in MG are to die for. It does have something masculine in it, and could easily be unisex. The lemon -the unisex part in it keeps me from madly falling in love with it, though, which is why I won’t purchase a bottle. I would like to get Mon Exclusif, but I guess I would need to sell a kidney first.

When I tested this I deff. took a quick liking to it I said ope there’s certainly a Vanilla note in here (vanilla lover here) So I spritzed some on me mmmm very nice! It reminded me of something I kept catching familiar wafts while walking through the mall (great sillage btw) then it struck me I said it smells like something I use to wear only better! realization it faintly reminded me of Pinroses Cuddle Punk only with more vanilla. Nice powdery comforting slightly edible vanilla; longevity is a beast too!

Mon Guerlain was my fragrance of the day today; I am a huge Guerlain fangirl and I have not used this particular fragrance for a while, so I was excited to assess it for a review.
It’s undeniable that Mon Guerlain has the Guerlain DNA. From the beginning, the benzoin/vanilla accord is undeniable, and I love the iris note (far more evident than the lavender, if you ask me.). It almost seems like a richer, warmer Shalimar Parfum Initial. It also has great staying power; I have had it on for over eight hours and I am still catching whiffs of it.
My issue with this fragrance is that it is sooo linear. Aside from a bit more iris in the first few hours of wear, the view with this fragrance never changes. It also lacks the complexity of some recent but similar Guerlains–L’Instant and Parfum Initial come to mind. Will Guerlain ever create a Chamade, or an Apres L’Ondee again: multifaceted, kaleidoscopically changeable, capable of surprising and delighting the wearer? Mon Guerlain is pleasant, sure; it is obviously a quality product, but it’s the pretty girl with the nice personality whose name you can never remember. I will use my classic Guerlains and leave this one on the shelf.

I recently bought a bottle online at sephora, and when I smelled it, I couldn’t believe how different it smells from the one I bought in France….the North American version is sweeter , more tonka bean, thicker…and a bit smoky…the french one is a fresh aromatic lavender , with a hint of vanilla in the base…now, I did send samples to a couple friends to hear their opinion, and they could easily smell the differences…now, talking to the owner of an import company who buys fragrances in France for her American customers, she did confirm that the perfumes going to export can definitely have different formulations as the regulations regarding perfumes are stricter in France….I must say I much prefer the mon Guerlain bought in France ! I don’t care for the typical tonka bean vibe throughout…it lacks finesse, and refinement..and as a french I know we don’t like gourmands as much as North Americans, generally speaking of course…very interesting !!

I tried this again today. I just can’t get into it. I think it’s because it seems overly sweet to me. It comes on strong in the first hour, with a lot of lavender; that’s not a favorite note of mine in most scents although I love the smell of real lavender plants. It feels as if there is an overdose of vanilla and not enough of something else to balance it. In fact, this one of the few fragrances I have washed off my arm after wearing it for over an hour. It’s not horrible or anything, just too sticky for me. Hours later, the bit that got on my sleeve still smells, and it’s quite nice. At this end stage, it reminds me a bit (just a tiny bit) of the late lamented Anne Klein II, probably because of the vanilla. Mon Guerlain is fine, but I’m just not into it.

As several other reviewers I also had a “feeling” that I have smelled it before. Its vanilla with hints of powder and spice. I think perhaps its similar to Lalique vanilla fragrance. And I do think it has some similarities to L’occitane’s Terre de Lumiere(or whatever its called) because I smelled it recently and liked it quite a bit.
I do like it a lot, so far I had small atomizer from Scentbird so I was happy to try it. I wouldn’t buy a full bottle of it though.

@meissie1982 I had the same feeling also. It reminds me of some vintage vanilla from the late 90’s, it was very popular at that time and a lot of girls were wearing it. It takes me right to my childhood.

@ Nordhaul, I had that same thing like…this remindes me of something else.
The weird thing is that my vintage bottle of D&G by women sometimes give me that same vibe as Mon Guerlain does.

The tester in Debenhams smelled amazing, so when I went ahead and purchased it, I expected it to smell the same like the tester. Well, not a chance! The tester smelled sooo much nicer and sweeter… So I went ahead and purchased another bottle from a different company.. and again I was disappointed. The tester is amazing, yet what we are being sold is a completely different perfume, that just resembles the original.
Unfortunately the same happened to Organza, which was purchased from John Lewis (I cannot smell honeysuckle in it any more, just pretty heavy on amber), same happened to Aromatics in White, purchased in Debenhams (while in a store the tester was heavy on patchouli, the one I received have no patchouli whatsoever, it’s nothing but roses and I hate roses!!!) Have been really disappointed with all late purchases, except of vintage Amarige Mariage, which smells just divine on me.

This scent is so comforting. I think it works well day or night. It’s not really a date night kind of night perfume but more of a curled up in a blanket night perfume. If I spray it on my wrist it’s a lavender bomb on me and it’s like aromatherapy after a day at work.

Feminine with a hint of masculinity. Amazing longevity! It’s been 20 hours since I dabbed it on and it’s still there. During the first hours it has heavy sillage although I don’t personally feel it as strong during the first hour, but afterwards, it becomes a bomb. This is a herbal vertion of the Florale flanker.

Gorgeous. gorgeous fragrance! I’d like to find a flaw in it, but I can’t and it drives me crazy 🙂 Expensive smelling? Checked. Easy to wear all year round? Checked. Classy and elegant for women over the age of …? Checked. Trendy and youthful enough for very young women (or young at heart)? Checked it too. It’s a bit of everything and it’s very well done. Sweet, but not cloying at all because of the lavender note which feels like a breath of fresh air in this perfume. The patchouli stays clean and feminine. while sandalwood and iris add depth and substance. I think this is Guerlain’s best creation of the last decade. This and Terracotta Le Parfum.

I was not interested in this one when it first launched mostly because of Angelina. Recently I was in Macy’s and spritzed paper. On first sniff it was just ok, a few squirts to the wrist at the counter for good measure. I couldn’t put my finger on it but I just was not in to it. Then something happened on the drive home……I could not stop smelling my wrist. Soft but not too soft.. sophisticated, vanilla with a twist. I immediately had to buy a bottle. I love the look of the bottle as well. So glad I decided to try it.

I feel the same way as Tittertat below me. I usually love lavender scents, but this seemed too artificial to me and overall too sweet with a fruity vibe. It reminded me of one of the Juicy Couture fragrances. For a authentic lavender scent, I much prefer Serge Lutens Gris Clair. Another nice lavender vanilla fragrance is Vanilla Lavender by Lavanila Laboratories. Jo Malone’s Amber and Lavender is nice too.

I wanted to like this fragrance but I have issues synthetic lavender. Long story short, is nice and would please most people but I find it a tad too sweet and the lavender a bit too cleaning product- ish. I do like the powdery vanilla. If I want lavender I find the only one I can tolerate are Prada Luna Rossa ( male) and Perfumes de Ceour Lavender Vanilla body spray.I
I think Angelina Jolie is good as the face of this perfume but I admit, I prefer Jennifer Annistons Near Dusk.

I feel like i jumped on the hype wagon with this fragrance and I’m SO glad i did! The smell is comforting yet somehow has a sophisticated elegance to it. It makes me feel confident and pretty – so I’ll definitely take a whole bottle of that! I haven’t really tested out longevity but it’s better than i thought upon reading reviews. It’s the first time in awhile that I’ve been so excited about a full bottle purchase as i usually live by sampling fragrances and find it hard to commit to a whole bottle. However so far with this one – no ragrets 😉

Truly one of the most gorgeous fragrances I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. I admit, I didn’t love it when I first got a whiff at the counter. I remember it being mostly patchoulli and lavender and a little citrusy something, but none of the vanilla I expected from reading reviews. I only bought it because they were having a sale on this particular fragrance. I don’t know what happened when I put it on again, or what’s up with the bottle at the counter, but the next day I went ahead and wore it for the day, and it was gorgeous. Creamy, elegant vanilla and gorgeous tonka, with the loveliest hint of lavender and spicy sandalwood. Thank you Guerlain counter for having that boxed deal on Mon Guerlain. I would have definitely passed on this gorgeous fragrance otherwise, which would have been unfortunate.
Edit: I forgot to talk performance whoops. Lasts an entire day out(which is 8-9 hrs) on me and then some. Sillage is the only criticism I can give, that being meh. Even when I just put it on, it doesn’t spread very far at all.

UPDATE: I was hasty to dismiss this so quickly (after all, it IS Guerlain) because as it dries down I’m getting this incredible honeyed SOFT citrus/floral that is very appealing. Sophisticated and unique in it’s own way as all Guerlain is. I like fresh/citrus green notes so I’m delighted the Bergamot didn’t stay in the background. I’m beginning to love this, actually! And I think you could wear this year round. whew! … so glad I didn’t give this away already…:-)
Previously: A soft vanilla/tonka bean to my nose. Pleasant and of good quality, I think it would appeal to younger audiences. For myself, I’ve never really been into vanilla but I’m sure my sister will love it!

    Odd!
I have sprayed this on several times now i department stores and really like the soft freshness it gives off.
However when i smell it in the air on someone else I actually do not find it that pleasant at all. Then the lavender feels harsh and the vanilla is less soft?
    Odd! Odd! Odd!
