A beautiful, warm and cozy scent! It reminds me a lot in the beginning of Shalimar, I even used both together and they are siblings. The first impression is nearly the same but the drydown differs a bit I would say. All in a ll as I am a huge fan of Shalimar this scent is just beautiful to me.

A very cozy, snuggle-worthy fragrance full of fuzzy musk and soft tonka that makes me want to swoon.
I tried the oil hoping it would be more concentrated and have better longevity than the perfume–sadly, it did not. Sillage/projection is non-existent. Too bad, as it is such a wonderful, warm fragrance.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn at the Le Labo counter in Saks that they offer a scented oil. I tried the Labdanum 18 fragrance on my arm and then the same oil on the top of my hand and to me they smelled identical and for the test I would say had the same strength in terms of longevity and sillage. Considering it was a test wear and not my usual wearing on the back of my neck/head I would venture to say it would be relatively long lasting. As they claim, there’s 18 components that make this fragrance up and it’s quite unique. This is definitely on my with list! Jason G 011313
