Description
Courreges La Fille de l`Air is a new fragrance of the collection Courreges which arrives on the market in June 2015. It was created by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin of Firmenich and it was announced as a fragrance with focus on orange blossom.
Composition of the fragrance starts with fresh Calabrian bergamot, which enhances a breath of freshness with green-floral shades of neroli and orange blossom highlighting whiteness and femininity. The story closes with a blend of musk, ozone and neoprene accords (synthetic rubber accord) that highlights tartness and smoothness of the edition.
Sales of this perfume begin at the beginning of June exclusively on the official website of Air France (shopping.airfrance.com) and in airport stores, because a deal was arranged on its exclusive promotion with a French airline. Somewhat later, in mid-June, sale starts in perfumeries worldwide. Available as 50ml EdP and 90ml EdP.

I tried this on the back of my hand and never forgot it. I got a compliment just from having tested it on my hand. I just had to buy it!
I find it to be a clean, soapy aroma reminiscent of holidays in Spain entering luxurious clean hotels. A lot of Spanish ladies seem to smell like this too.
I’m familiar with By Kilian Sweet Redemption, Robert Piguet Mademoiselle Piguet, and Ellie Saab (all orange blossom dominated) but none of them wow me like La Fille de l’Air has.
Imagine a clean, fresh orange blossom with a Spanish twist (despite being a French fragrance) and you will have imagined La Fille de l’Air.
I would wear this in the spring or summer time with an orange dress or a white crochet dress.
Projection: Moderate to heavy
Longevity: Roughly 3 hours on me but so lovely I’ll reapply.
Price is a lot.

Just tested this afternoon.
Orange blossom in the opening; orange blossom in the heart and orange blossom in the base. And nothing more. I can not notice the famous (or infamous) neoprene note. And it is not a particullary rich or beautiful orange blossom scent. It is the kind of orange blossom that you can find in a bath splash cologne. If you like orange blossom, you should try this one, but there are far better orange blossom fragances in the market (Agua de Naranjos de Sevilla of Agua de Sevilla, Adolfo Domínguez’s Azahar or Guerlain Flora Nerolia).
Sillage and lasting power are moderated. Overpriced, Courrèges has made far better things.
