This is intensely fresh, woody, dry, astringent, slightly metallic, and a bit green. For the most part, the floral elements are there as support to tame the rather rough-and-tough oak and oakmoss. Honestly, it’s a bit much up close, but when you let it diffuse in the air it’s very pleasing.
Although listed as unisex, I find this to be firmly masculine with a gentlemanly touch, and the scent as a whole is very unique. While oakmoss as a note is rather common, you are hard-pressed to find it as genuine and in such a large quantity as it is presented here. It may even be real. Smells like it, but I’m not sure. Then there’s the oak. Oak as a note is rarely used, and when it is used I usually see it in gourmand and oriental fragrances instead of freshies. Florals in such a large quantity are also unusual for a more masculine fragrance.
Appropriate for both casual or formal, and despite being an Arabian perfume there is nothing too exotic or challenging for your typical western nose. Good stuff.
