100% for men. To keep it short, Antonio Puig’s Quorum silver twin! Spices & very pepperish. Nothing sweet nor fresh, just a nice typical male fragrance for everyday & office. I do have doubts on the longetivity & projection for I can hardly smell it myself while it sprayed the usual way for an eau de toilette yet 2 times on my neck, 4 times on my t-shirt & 3 times on my chest within the collar. See the bottle, fragrance is like it. Nice, straight lines & no variations. Also exactly like a piece from Chanel buth then no wander; it is Lagerfeld (Chanel’s designer) conclusion so far; light fragrance tending to distingued side. Nice for everyday & casual offical stuff like office. I can not imagine someone falling in love with this one.

It is a testament to the strength of scent if it can actually ground you (a little) in the midst of a personal crisis. Kapsule Light is like the lingering kiss of an angel – so soft, so beautiful, and so elusive. It opens with a muted orange and neroli note – fresh and inviting. In time, the scent swells to bring forth a comforting nutmeg mixed with a dewy, floral musk. I can’t tell what the floral is but it is soft and supple and just perfect for accenting the musk. After a few hours of a gently dancing floral and orange hinted musk, the scent develops a rich and cozy nutmeg aspect that takes you on an earthen adventure for a few hours. Aside from Royal Muska, this is definitely a favorite white musk of mine. While Royal Muska may be perfect for a carnal affair, Kapsule Light would be used to find peace among saints and to rebuild what was lost amongst the taint of humanity. Quite durable for being so quiet, like a thought that grows silently into action – peace in a bottle.

100% masculine. I don’t smell anything feminine about KL at all.

I like it a lot but on paper strip it reminds me a bit Krizia uomo istinto. However Kapsule is less seductive and sensual but i think this is the best of the trilogy.
I would buy it if i did not own Krizia that i find it more authentic with better longevity and projection.
Further more it is a pleasant fresh perfume indeed and no offensive.Don’t forget it is a unisex perfume but i find it a bit more masculine than feminine

Without hesitation I find it a milder version of the discontinued Zanzibar. A slight peppery wind blowing among scattered birch trees. Kapsule light is described as citric, warm and fresh but that sounds a bit made up to me.
Combining the Kapsules can be fun a few times – until you realize that you have no idea what you are doing and that no matter how you try the combos won’t combine into a working single body of scent. It’s like a traffic light where all three lamps are lit at once. You get a sensation of depth (which the Kapsules lack on their own) but mostly you get confusion. The Kapsules are not really worth the money because you will want to get all three and that will drain your wallet of more dollars than two bottles of good cheapos or one bottle of designer quality that can look down at most niche frags as if they were overpriced noobs.

I had migraine last night and I felt it this morning also, so I was thinking which scent I will choose for this day. I selected this one from my collection and it was great choice. It’s pleasant, fresh and so so light!!!
IT’S LIKE COLD/ FRESH WIND FROM ORANGE TREES.

Very light and elegant. You could spray with abandon and still be subtle and pleasingly fragrant. I smell musk mingling with fresh and wood notes. I would wear this anytime because it is discreet and refined. It smells more masculine than feminine, but a woman could certainly wear it.

Light, inoffensive musk – that’s really about it. I suppose this could add a skin-like background when layered (as intended) with the others. If you spray on a lot, more of the nutmeg comes out, but there’s still a warm-ish, gray musk underneath.
Good for office wear when sensitive noses work close by.

I bought 30ml of it but i had to give it to my husband because for me Light it´s totally masculine scent. I felt just bad and weird when I use it once. But on my husband it smelled really nice. It´s fresh, I smell bitter orange with a hint of nutmeg.

dries down to a dry musky cedar and it’s close to the skin. top notes were almost aquatic on me. I didnt get orange, or nutmeg, or cloves…so weird. It says this is for women and men…this is questionable. I feel like this is way more masculine than unisex, and nothing can realy be layered to doll this up a little. I love the bottle design, I dont love the juice. So this is going back.

This is one of those fragrances that you can wear 24/7 in every season.
Seriously, this is like background music to use a metaphor. It can be there if you want it, not overwhelming in the background and much valued. And hell, you will miss it when it is not there!
However, don`t make a mistake in thinking that this is a boring fragrance …as generosity does not equal weakness.

Subtle or boring? Well, it’s all a matter of personal values, I suppose. KAPSULE LIGHT, to me, is a subtle, slightly masculine-leaning cologne. The dominant cedarish quality is I gather imparted by iso-E-super? So I guess that what I loved about WOODY was not the iso-E-super, because here the spices are at the threshold of being undetectable. To my nose, the overall feeling is closer to Molecule 01 than to WOODY. Yes, LIGHT, as advertised, is light. This would be a fine scent for the modern wall-less open office. I am also sure that this would mix well with more intense perfumes, to mellow them out a bit. I am going to try mixing this one with some of the harder-hitting offerings from the house of Comme des Garçons…
Although the individual perfumes of this collection are not earthshatteringly brilliant, overall, I am happy with the KAPSULE collection. Great concept, splendid aesthetic execution on all fronts. Why even the silver-and-white-accented, textured black cardboard boxes are beautiful! Did I mention that Karl’s signature is stamped (with raised lettering as in Braille) on the bottom of the bottles? The color of this bottle, by the way, is a lighter version of the tealish-smokey blue of the WOODY bottle. They look so sleek lined up together. Bravo, Karl!

I think this was the first fragrance that I bought that got me interested in fragrances,,,It was a blind buy, I bought it for its cheapness, and I wasn’t let down.
Its very nice, very clean, very light, I would say its flowery with a little sweetness to it that tops it off,
for casual use mainly… I would also use it in the evening as a bedtime scent or when you come out of the shower, and your looking for something laid back and light for lounging,, this is the one.
    Thumbs up…

It is indeed light. It’s faintly woody, spicy, and ambergris-musky. There’s a hint of orange, and a slight hint of jasmine at first, but mostly it’s just spicy-woody-musk lite. After it dries down a little, the predominant note is a bone-dry cinnamon, boosted by the musky notes. For some reason it seems as if there’s more in the sillage than there is close to the skin. For a “light” scent it has fairly good longevity.
Kapsule Light is not bad at all; in fact it’s quite a nice, conventional, well-behaved, sprayable, non-floral fragrance.

This is much better than I initially thought, think of a M7 Fresh Light/Light. It´s very good.

Light is my second Kapsule after Woody and I really enjoy it. The name says it all- it is indeed very light. At first it seems a classic masculine cologne, but it softens quickly into a delicate unisex with distinctive bitter orange and jasmine. At a certain point it reminds me a bit of Arpege Pour Homme, but is of course less powdery. I like this modern, unobtrusive daytime fragrance, but regret it does not last very long. Still, I am glad I have it as it is an amazingly comforting unisex with masculine touch.

I like this, it´s fresh and light and a little bitter.
Something to wear when you want to smell very nice and not so loud, in a minimalistic way.

I finally got this today after wanting to smell this one for years. I am a big fan of Mark Buxton and this has his style written all over this.
Of course the name tells you all you need to know, its light yet sparkling. This style of fragrance is very in vogue right now with Voyage d’Hermes and Surge Luten L’eau making expensive additions to this genre. I believe that this beats both of them hands down and the best thing of all is that you buy a 75ml bottle for under £15.
UPDATE: I have been using this a lot lately and rally love it. I have also been using it to soften some of my heavier scents. It really works and gives some of lesser used scents a new lease of life.

I thought (in all honesty) Karl Lagerfeld was dead…but after smelling this wonderful scent, I’m really glad he isn’t. It’s about time someone released some decent scents and let the wearers decide for themselves and not be told “For men” or “For women”…Kudos Karl!
It is true to it’s name-LIGHT! But it is described really well by nattonline.(Thank you, friend, for the sample!) The bigarade (bitter orange)is juicy and bitter but has just a hint of sweetness to it, clean but not overly citric. Jasmine, here is soft and smooth, like a floral breeze. The spices are gentle and are added mostly to accent the other notes in the mix, nutmeg smooths and the cloves add a soft warmth but it never smells like curry or pumpkin pie spices. The musk is heavenly and you could call it linear, but every now and again I get some other hints in the fumes-sometimes fresh, sometimes sweet and every once in a while the faintest whiff of spice. This is a great scent for when you don’t want anything TOO much, but want to wear something really nice and well-made. I don’t agree that it’s half-done, just done well at a low volume and for a rainy evening like it is right now where I live, this is just perfect…
    Sillage: close
    Longevity: decent
    Overall: 3.75/5
I have seen the Kapsules on-line at the discount sites and thought that even at those prices, they were expensive; but after smelling LIGHT; I want to try the other two, especially Floriental. This is truly a unisex scent that seems to blend with its wearer male or female, and I find it great that it is not citrusy, floral, spicy or too musky but just what it says it is…and if you apply it, then put your nose to your skin, you have to strain to smell it; but, if you just sit back and let it do it’s thing and rise softly around you-it’s so very pleasing!

I love this scent! It is my all time favorite scent that I can literally use all year round. This Kapsule Light is the only one that gives me a little bit of everything that I enjoy. It’s cedar’ish woody with white floral freshness understone. It is a little cold and bitter, but yet sweet and comforting. It’s spicy but never gets hot and dry. It’s refreshing and clean without being too squeaky. It is strong but never gets heavy. I get something minty too. It’s the best of everything I like in a scent packed in one simple quirky bottle. It’s strong enough and lasts pretty good on my skin. I just can’t tell you how much I love it. 🙂 I ended up buying three bottles!

It’s the first of the Kapsule trio I got my nose on: Very exciting at the first sniff, kind of a sparkling freshness with a promise for more. But after a while it settles down for something half done.
Which is why you should combine it with the other twos. Well, so I did.
Fiorental & Light: A lot more depth then each one alone,Fiorental is adding a body. Unfortunately tie pair turns (at least on me) into a sticky sweetness that I don’t like.
Fiorental & Woody: Behaving gentler and more composed. Easy to overlook and forget …
Light & Woody: They combine to a light and clean scent with some tweaks on the edges. Again nothing really noteworthy.
So what about all three? Definitely the most complex one – but it lacks a roundness. The scents do want to work together, but every one seams to pull in a slightly different direction.
What remains? An interesting concept that thought me a lot and three bottles in my wardrobe.
