This is my third time buying this. This has a fresh spicy sweet yet warm barber shop oil vibe that I love without having that same LeMale opening like a lot that came out a few years ago around the same time. It’s because of the labdanum & saffron . It has that cheap yet chic vibe that smells like and new car scent without being too sweet or overwhelming uneasy to wear . Imagine riding in an old school yet newly minted Monte Carlo with navy blue leather. This guy u just met, he is Arabic or black dude he is clean sexy suave quiet and mysterious. You just met him and he makes a few stops here and there….U are just glad to be in the guys car and the smell of smoke clean car and barber shop waft through the air. He makes a several stops here and there. U notice a bottle of cologne in his glove compartment it is not designer yet rather some unknown vendor cologne he bought off the street somwhere that he probably paid too much for along with a bag of something else…. and u realize that u can’t be about that life but enjoy him while the night lasts.

This one is listed as an oriental spicy, but if you are expecting an oriental quality in this one, it’s nowhere to be seen. It will still perform in winter, but the scent is best utilized as a spring-summer day fragrance. It has a huge dose of citrus and high-pitched ginger with some fresh and warm spices and a powdery, creamy background that stays throughout the wear. This one has an old-fashioned soda-fountain feel to it with the ginger and citrus and the creamy nutmeg on top the first hour of wear. In the dry-down, this becomes a toned-down, minimalist version of Brut but without the overload of orange blossom and talc powder. The same basic concept is there though. Just Cavalli I Love Him is a very solid performing cologne, longevity is outstanding for such a soft base, with a consistent 8-10 hours plus and decent projection the first few hours. This one never seems to go away, it holds and holds and holds on to the skin.
The scent itself is not beautiful or all that attractive, the citrus is simply too high-pitched and the spices create a bit of a sour and pungent wear with the cream soda vibe constantly lingering; but if you stick to 2-3 sprays the more cloying elements will be kept at bay pretty easily.
But with performance so good and the scent a great performer under the heat, this is a good affordable option for casual day use or especially sport or beach wear. Would do really well for active, sporty guys under 30 as it has a very youthful and fresh feel. Nothing amazing, but solid. I don’t give ratings, but if I did it would be a solid 7. As Adam Sadler would say; “Not too shabby.”

It’s got that spicy, powdery combo like Armani (Black) Code but with some sweetness mixed in. It’s not quite as fresh/sweet as the bottle and blue color lead you to believe. I was hoping for a little more citrus and less powder personally, but this will please a lot of people as is. The sillage is minimal but longevity is excellent.

OH AND THE STAYING POWER IS LONG…MODERATE DEPENDING ON YOUR OILS YOU EXPEL…BUT NO IT DOES NOT SMELL LIKE HUGO BOSS…I KNOW THAT SCENT…IF YOU SMELLED ROCHAS…ROCHAS…OR BURBERRYS…IT IN THAT RANGE AND I DON’T THINK HUGO BOSS…HUGO HAS A SOURISH NOTE…FOR IT BASE…THIS IS A DEEP WOODY’S…IF THIS IS SMELLING LIKE BOSS…YOU MUST OF BEEN OLD AND STORED IN BATHROOM…LOOK AT MY REVIEW BELOW…THIS IS A GOOD SCENT AND A GOOD PRICE…IF YOU WANT OVER TOP..EVERYONE BODY CHEM DIFFERENT SO IF IT SMELLING WAY OFF…IT MIGHT BE OLD…IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN…

I HAVE THE WOMEN VERSION…JUST PURCHASED THIS FOR MY MAN AND I AM REVIEWING IT FOR ALL THE GUYS OUT THERE…THIS IS AMAZINIG…AND IT SMELLS WELL BALANCED WITH DEEP WOODY SCENT WITH A SPICE BUT A LIGHTER FRESHER BALANCED…I SPRAYED IT ON MY HUSBAND AND HE SMELLED YUMMY….NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CAVALLI EVER!!! I FOUND IT HERE IN CHICAGO…BUT MINE WAS PURCHASED IN US VIR.ISLANDS AND FOR GOOD PRICE…BUT YES THIS IS GOOD SCENT FOR A MAN…NOT OVER THE TOP…BUT I THINK IF YOU LIKE THE BURBERRY THEN THIS WILL BE IN YOUR RANGE OF SCENTS….

to me the first spray smells exactly like Hugo Boss for men;very generic and common.nothing really special,but just a soupy fresh spicy fragrance for men.
after about ten minutes it becomes warmer and a little better,still I don’t consider this one as a wow.it’s just ok,I like the female version much better.

Basically a fruiter version of Just Cavalli Man. Pineapple and tea note is quite evident. I do not get the saffron note. Longevity is excellent. Don’t let the olfactory of this one to fool you. This is a refreshing summer fragrance. And a quite good one at that. Of course it is not unique or groundbreaking but a very nice fragrance overall. 8 out of 10
