Jezebel is a sweet, fruity scent. A member on another website described this fragrance as smelling like a Chupa-Chups lollipop. I would tend to agree with her.
As far as sweetness goes, this is much more wearable than the gourmand Autumn, also by Bud Parfums. I am always in support of upcoming Australian perfumers, and in reference to Howard Jarvis’ work, so far so good.
I ordered a small dab-on sample of Jezebel, and really, that’s enough to last two weeks. You only need the tiniest dab of perfume to scent yourself all over. The sillage is that strong.
Jezebel is more sugary than fruity. Howard isn’t giving much away by saying that it contains only spices. If the spices are indeed there, they are very subtle. I can detect wafts of berries, amber, rose, sugar and blood orange.
Jezebel is definitely not an oriental spicy scent. Think more of a floral fruity gourmand.
