Beautiful rose patch, elegant, feminine, georgeus. Its very similar to Avon Premiere luxe gold blush but fresher with out effect of faint or murky rose. Just Perfect.
Edit:the drydown is warm skin scent, ambery jasmine. Rather close to skin, the rose and patch is hiding. Could be more powerful such as Avon’s luxe gold blush. But isnt so generic as mentioned. From rosey patch to ambery jasmine. Nice. Cheapie goodie.

A tragedy that this beautiful fragrance was discontinued. This was a classically formulated floral chypre but wearable for the modern day girl. The atomizer style bottle was a nice touch and this was before Britney Spears Curious designed it in that style. This is a gorgeous rose perfume. The rose is what hits you as it starts. The jasmine follows and patchouli and musk gives everything a more sophisticated, womanly and romantic flair. It’s not a little girl it’s a woman who has matured and would never receive candy as gifts, only flowers. This smells like the 1950’s when women were women and men were men. If Audrey Hepburn wore this stuff back in 1955 she could have had any man she wanted. It’s classically feminine, classically beautiful, artistic, and yet so simple because there aren’t that many notes. No fruits, no spices, a touch of wood and amber. I am so glad I kept my old bottle. I still wear this.

Is it Bvlgari Rose Essentielle edp? No.., it’s Jeanne. Yes.., Jeanne is very similar to my fav perfume, Rose Essentielle edp. It’s very cheap, but sorry to say, only stays 2 hours on my body. But it’s not a problem, u can spray it to your body all over again.., making your body smells fresh but also relaxing.

Lovely scent and packaging! The scent is ambery and warm with the flowers peeking through. I’d say that it’s part of the Narciso family – maybe a distant cousin. It also reminds me of Basic Instinct of VS. A colleague of mine has the body spray version of it.
I already own two other fragrances of JA and like them a lot – but unfortunately this one hasn’t so much sillage and lasting power. But I will happily spritz away before bedtime and admire the bottle on my vanity 🙂

This is a vintage style scent-uncomplicated, but very similar to some niche scents out there at a fraction of the cost. Gentle rose with hints of jasmine, patchouli and oakmoss- sophisticated and classic, with a soft sillage and moderate longevity- suitable for anytime, any season. Don’t let the low price of Jeanne Arthes scents put you off trying them, the fragrances are just as good as many known brands, all that may be lacking is the intensity.

Very feminine fragrance and at the same time so inexpensive.
Arthes is not a well know make, I must admit, but I took my risk and purchased ”Joanne” tempted by a low price.
It is such a grown up fragrance, very feminine and elegant.
Starring: Rose, the gentle note, Jasmin, not as bitter as in other perfumes, hint of patchouli and oakmoss.
Oh, I cannot stop smelling my wrist.
If you are a rose lover, that perfume might appeal to you as rose petals in Joanne, seem to have a different dimension than majority of rose fragrances available on the market.
Very chypre, very rosy, very elegant.
Perfect office fragrance!
