The bottle is just so beautiful, very classic and nostalgic, like something that could have stood on my grandmothers dresser. She was a quiet and gentle woman, and this bottle reminds me of her. I knew the original Fleur d’Interdit in 1994 but of course then never gave one thought about perfumes ever being discontinued. Glad to see Givenchy kept the same bottle. From my recollection Jardin d’Interdit is rather different from Fleur d’Interdit. It’s very fresh, floral and fruity, with some sharpness to it, no powder or warm base. It’s rather linear, some sweetness in the opening disappears straight away and leaves a fresh floral scent and remains that way. An easy blind buy or gift for young girls. I can see this being popular in Japan, it suits demure (school)girls very well. Nothing forbidden about it! 😉

Well, it has been unseasonably hot and humid here, so I figured this would be a good time to test this one out. Sadly, I concur 100% with Sapphire44256’s review. First of all, this is so very light, even spraying heavily, I am questioning “where is this”..? So, after sniffing-sniffing-sniffing my wrist heavily, I barely detect..nothing, basically. Did I simply just spray water on my wrist..? I gave a good 4 or 5 spritzes. But after more sniffing, I pick up..nothing, basically. I also bought mine from fragrancenet, so I am wondering if maybe they got a bad batch? I even sprayed 3 or 4 more spritzes about 20 minutes after the initial blast (for a total of like 7 or 8 spritzes for one wrist) still…nothing..:(
If I smell the cap and the nozzle itself, I get the weird scent Sapphire44256 describes, just a weird, chemical kitchen cleaner type of smell that tried to masquerade as a flattering floral scent but comes off as..weird… I even thought maybe my sniffer was off for the day, so I asked a couple folks to sniff my wrist to let me know what they thought of my new perfume, and they both said they could not smell anything. All I know is this is a bottle that smells like nothing at all for me. The bottle itself is cute, but..I did not buy this for the bottle alone. I was hoping for a light scent, but not this light/non-existent. *For the record, I’ve bought numerous fragrances from fragrancenet, never really had an issue like this before, so I do not know what is up with this… Maybe they got a bad batch..?

I bought this perfume, and I’m really confused by it. To me, it does not smell like kiwi, or fruit, or even perfume. It smells like salty acrid kitchen cleaning chemicals. And I didn’t buy it from amazon or Walmart where they sell knock-offs. I bought it from fragrancenet. So this is just really weird. When I sprayed some on my shirt sleeve, it bothered me all day, and I wanted so badly to take it off and throw it in the wash to get the bad smell out.

This bottle is really beautiful. The kiwi is also i feel the most prominent note in the scent and it is divine. I feel this scent is best worn in the warmer months. Fruity amazingness.

prettiest bottle ever. there’s something missing in it for me besides the longevity and silage. it’s a nice floral girly scent which disappears quickly but it is winter in australia. i’ll drag it out of the drawer in spring to see if it tests better then.

Absolutely beautiful, completely feminine and young. I’d recommend to young woman 16-28 that have plenty of innocence, charm, grace and inner beauty.

I have just bought this duty free! I love the fresh fruity fragrance of it, quite acidic when first sprayed , but then the peach notes come on, mmm delicious! it has taken me a long time to find a perfume that I LOVE, although this is only EDT hence my disappointment at the longevity of it, lasst only a few hours on me, but I have heard that even after the wearer stops smelling it, it is still there? not sure about that. Happy with my purchase though 🙂

This is a wonderful spring scent from Givenchy! It’s very fresh and bright without being too acidic for my tastes.
Opening notes are a little sharp (maybe because of the pepper?) in a good way, then kiwi adds a really fun kick to it. It softens into a very well-balanced floral leaving a burst of kiwi to sweeten the rose hip. It cheers me up and makes me feel more feminine for sure!
Staying power relatively good – I got about five hours out of two sprays. Sample this if you can find it somewhere, it’s quite lovely!!
