This smells close to Sabon “innocent musk”

After reading a recent Fragrantica article on dupes for clean musk, I went looking for this. I could not find a dirt-cheap bottle but grabbed the shower gel. I figure even if it is not for me, I can always use shower gel, right? I realize the formulation can be different in a different product.
In this, all I get is clean rose and maybe a slight hint of cotton. I was hoping for something like Flor de Algodon, a fantastic cotton musk from Spain which may be discontinued now (I once smelled it in a drugstore in Madrid and could not forget it but could not find a way to purchase it online from the US for many years). I can’t take too much rose and don’t love this, but the shower gel won’t go to waste. I will still keep an eye out for the actual fragrance. Great job at no animal testing, no animal ingredients, and no phthalates and such!

I like Korres for its natural ingredients and the neat packaging.
This one was a blind buy based on the reviews here. Sadly, it
leaves me unimpressed. It starts a little synthetic, but that flies
off pretty quick, as it generally just flies off. I can’t detect iris
at all, all I get is a linear scent. An almost no-perfume, as if it’s
another genre. This cotton smell is so clean, there’s not much
more to it. Funny though, I keep on coming back to this because
from time to time I want the feeling of being cleaner than clean.
That’s what I get. Thank you Korres.

At first it’s very cool and quite intense, lily-of-the-valley & green fragrance. After some times it softens to a very pleasant, cotton base. I like it, but I also find it a bit strange. However, it’s basically office safe because it’s very clean type of smelling.

I’m definitely in love with clean, powdery florals and this is not exception. I-Lotv-C makes you feel fresh and just out of the shower without the use of heavy detergent scents that other brands are so known for .I can’t pinpoint a single note in this scent but I really don’t care, this little perfume is enough to make me feel good in this scorching hot summer. Now, I just have to test it in Santorini or Zakhyntos…some day.

Pretty, pretty, pretty. This is a lovely floral musk, powdery and calming. It certainly is similar to the musk in NR Essence, but with more emphasis on the floral notes. I love this style of musk fragrance, so clean and soft. Recommended.

This definitely belongs to the creme de la creme of clean- laundry-creamy-but-also-powdery-scents. It’s a bit harsh upon spraying, but quickly mellows down to a beautiful, cuddly nivea cream scent.

This fragrance needs a little bit of time to warm up, so don’t judge it by the first few minutes. Once it reaches its heart, this is very much the scent of Nivea creme in the blue tin–a lovely, almost vintagey feel. Longevity is several hours with a few spritzes.

This is a very clean, cottony laundry scent. This would be lovely for anyone who wants to smell freshly washed but not perfumey. I do find it quite linear and artificial, but perhaps only because I’m so used to this type of scent being added to laundry products.

My first reaction to this was “make-up remover lotion on a cotton bud”. In a good way of course, as I ended up buying it – it was meant as my holiday fragrance.
To me, this is a great “just got out of the shower” scent, as it is clean and fresh and powdery, but still a bit interesting and not harsh and screechy at all. It’s also good as as casual fragrance, for when it’s hot, before sleeping or when you don’t need anything complicated.
On me, longevity and sillage are on the weak side and I’ve had to reapply often. It may be better if I layer it with the lotion of the same range.
On the plus side, it’s really inexpensive to get here in Greece.
Update: I have kept wearing this at times where I want an unobtrusive perfume (eg cinema, or a night I spent at the hospital when my daughter was sick) and it has worked a treat. It even seems to last longer now that weather has been cooler. So I feel that my initial review does not do it justice. My current verdict: this is a grower-on-you and it is set to be my weekend fragrance.

This is pretty much a perfect scent for me: it’s stepping warm and glowing fresh out of the bath into the prettiest, softest, flowing, handkerchief-linen nightgown… Egyptian cotton sheets on the bed, fresh flowers in sparkling vases, a cheerful fire in a porcelain fireplace, everything clean, serene, cool and comforting.
I don’t get an alcohol push from this at all, though on me, it does begin too chilly, dry, and damped-down, and then very quickly warms up to a gorgeous, soft, perfect floral, not too innocent, or like “laundry-scent”: more like (my idea of) the platonic ideal of a clean scent rather than a “scentscape.” I love that it’s not too sweet or simple, and as Arbre Amer mentions, it’s somehow both cool and warm. Happily, it’s also one of my picky husband’s favorite scents on me, and it doesn’t break the bank (especially here in Greece) so, a very big “win” here. I’d recommend it to anyone who is looking for: something clean but not citrusy or soapy; refreshing but not sharp or cold; powdery, but not “baby” or “grandma”; soft but not overly sweet; warm but not spicy.

Very strong. Very alcoholic. If wearing natural scents means, you smell like tons of alcohol and something musty and stinky, its’ not for me. All I can say is that I think this scent is really bad.

Very clean and feminine. Lasting power is quite good, and smells very natural. I would say its good spring smell.

This is one of the most interesting minimalist irises in the market and if you take into consideration the low price and the fact that it is heavy on the rare Iris absolute makes it an easy buy. It says here that it is a feminine perfume but the company markets it as a unisex frag. In my opinion it is leaning towards the feminine but can be appropriated by a male who likes Dior Homme or Midnight in Paris. Its character is the opposite of dramatic, a very ambient scent but not without interest and although not particularly sweet it is nuanced with the animalic qualities of honey, making for a play between powdery-cool and sweet warm. There is a spiciness in there, mostly based on a marriage between green elements (lily of the valley?) and clove (eugenol). At first this might seem like too simplistic a composition but don’t make the mistake of judging it from a paper strip. It has to be worn to reveal the aura effect that although subtle will become perceptible by those near you. It makes for a great perfume to experiment in layering with, especially with spicy, ambery or incense based frags. This is the best way a male can rip the benefits of this and in this price range (and all natural composition) one can experiment without any feelings of guilt.

It’s a pleasant smell and i love it! Quite light and soft. I wish it could last longer on my skin, but you can reapply it many times, since it’s more natural and doesn’t contain harmful ingredients. On my clothes though it lasts longer. I wonder if there is another fragrance similar to this, from another house, with a more lasting power. I would be interested!

Feels like freshly washed sheets and morning sunshine. Optimistic and natural as well as discreet. Better for daylight occasions. Not very sweet and romantic.

Fresh and clean, as violeta67 says. Floral and powdery but with a zing! This would be a safe perfume for work and probably great for the gym too as you’d smell freshly laundered. It has good lasting power but doesn’t shout out its presence.

I’m pleased to find such a natural fragrance! It’s fresh, clean, and very comforting to wear all day long.I don’t have an experienced nose as to describe the notes of a perfume but I definetly can smell cotton which is the reason i like this perfume so much. Not to mention the fact that the price is reasonable enough to buy it.
