KLYBOK – :
Another masterpiece from JoAnne Bassett. Oakmoss is my favorite note & this floral chypre perfume is deep, rich, seductive, vesatile & pleasant.
My Rating: 10/10

Well, when she describes on her website that Intimacy is a chypre in old style it’s one in the Golden days of this structure. But it doesn’t smell old-fashioned to me, instead it smells rich, complex, exquisite, really misterious, and with an harmony that i can imagine on the parfum concentration of Chypres like Mitsouko and Coty Chypre on its best form. The oakmoss is earthy, salty, dark, the jasmine gives a sweet, round and floral aspect which is more on the background. The citrus doesn’t seem to bright for me and there is something slightly spicy and maybe a little bit boozy for me too. The patchouli on the base i notice it as slightly gourmand, with a dark chocolate facet maybe? It’s simple but complex at the same time, and i don’t remember when i have smelled this kind of chypre quality on a current product. It’s really good, at least for me and on the parfum concentration.
