The house of AVON celebrates 30 years of Imari fragrance and in its honor it presents the collection IMARI which includes three editions in redesigned flacons. Two fragrances presented in new flacons (Imari and Imari Seduction) repeat famous compositions while the third fragrance Imari Elixir is a brand new edition to complete the image of the new, jubilant line. Fragrance Imari by Avon was first introduced in 1985 and during years it was followed by editions Imari Seduction from 2007, Imari Mystique from 2011 and Imari Blossom from 2013.

IMARI SEDUCTION was announced as the fragrance that tingles desires and passion. Its composition is accentuated with rich, irresistible fruity notes of plum, purple orchid, dark rose and warm vanilla leaving a hypnotic trail on the skin.
Fragrances IMARI, IMARI SEDUCTION and IMARI ELIXIR are available as 50ml Eau de Toilette. The offer includes accompanying body care products.

sweet clean and so soft, safe for an oversprayer. any age can wear this one, it would make a nice gift, pity about the name though which limits who you can give it to, if its for a young girl then peal off the lable.

This is my favorite of all the Imari series. Original Imari just makes me think of the 80s and members only jackets. Not something I care for. This flanker is so pretty and contemporary. I could see this as a good work perfume. Plum isn’t overwhelming. Sillage is moderate. Trying to think of what frag this reminds me of, will update when I figure it out. If you’re looking for an inexpensive daytime fragrance that smells much more expensive than it is, try this. You might really really like it.

I had the original (purple plastic capped bottle) Imari Seduction and now the latest reformulation (seen above). I prefer the latest because it doesn”t have the overwhelming (to me) sticky-sweet plum and vanilla notes the original did…. What I smell now is a slightly sweet top note of dark berries that quickly merge with middle notes of dark orchid and a dark rose. Throughout this a refreshing minty ‘dry’ patchouli note rises and lasts for several hours as the drydown….Imari Seduction p is a beautiful, womanly and affordable (around $10.00) when on sale or from Avon reps on Ebay.

I loved this scent. I wore it a few times but there was something in the composition that I was mildly allergic to. I had to give it away to a family member. I really loved this scent. It was very sensual to me.

I have had this before, and it does smell a bit different now. The seduction of 2014 seemed a bit sweeter, more fruity on the opening notes. Tried last night from my new bottle, there is a spicier, herbal layer that I quite like. Spillage is average on me, longevity about 6 hours. This is a far more sophisticated scent than it would appear by looking at the notes.

From the notes I should really like this, but sadly no. The dry-down is not so pleasant for me, something a bit wrong with the musk notes I think and the vanilla just isn’t nice. Disappointing.

almost identical to the original … almost. sprayed my left wrist with the original – which is my cheap alternative to Hypnotic Poison – and my right wrist with the reformulation, and buried my nose into both. the difference? the newbie has a slight cat piss accord

Floral, sweet but not overpowering, this is a nice daytime scent, perfect for spring. The bottle looks cheap though, what were they thinking? The old bottle was beautiful, the dare I say iconic Imari shape.
I’m hoping to finish my bottle this spring but I will not repurchase.

Oh no. Oh no oh no. Imari Seduction, the original from 2007, is my favorite perfume. It is perfect, and it does not have any rose in it. Why does Avon change their most popular fragrances?????
Update 03/16/16- I tried the new Imari Seduction and I hate it. They have ruined a perfect fragrance. Avon, please fix this horrendous mistake.

Imari is a sweet but earthy, slightly powdery and musky in a good way but there’s a BIG DIFFERENCE in Imari Seduction where I smell no musk and it’s more floral and slightly fruity but also a slightly mature scent (great from 24-34 age range). I like Imari Seduction much better. Imari Seduction you could wear anytime of day vs Imari which smells like a strictly evening perfume. Actually Imari seduction is probably more similar to Imari Elixir than Imari.

This is simply a repackage to celebrate 30 years of Imari. The fragrance is the same Imari Seduction from 2007, just in an updated bottle.
