   Honey and hyacinth with a little iris, I don’t pick up vanilla in this composition. Ingredients feel natural, decent performance. For the money I like other Memo scents better, so for now a pass.

   This, to my nose, is a well done honeyed pale purple floral. It carries a strong scent memory to my favorite grandmother. Ilha do mel is all Spring to me. I perceive no sensuality in the composition, ergo would be great to wear with the entire family to brunch. If Ilha were an outfit, it would be a classic design demure pastel or floral dress.
   I get hyacinth first and foremost, but altogether there’s a seamless hyacinth/honey/jasmine accord.

   On my skin the opening reminds me of Lys Soleia, though they don’t have similar notes – perhaps it’s the sunny fruity floralcy of it, maybe the tangerine. This is a white floral dominant scent from beginning to end. It does have a honeyed sweet aspect, but this is far from a HONEY scent. The mid of the scent is pretty, mostly a sweet jasmine and hyacinth. It has a powdery undercarriage but doesn’t become too powdery. I think it’s pretty, but it’s not “me” somehow. I think hyacinth just reads as very dated to me, and it keeps this scent from being a like. Projection is good and longevity is low-medium.

   It becomes even curious that precisely the perfume with more harmony between concept and execution is the one inspired in Brazil and one that escapes from the clichés. In general the foreign brands when they want to launch something inspired om Brazil make ompositions that aims to Rio de Janeiro some tourist point known from the Northeast, offeingr something that does not escape much of a fruit citric that has inspiration in caipirinha. Our country, however, goes far beyond these cheap cliches and it gives me pride to see something like Ilha do Mel, which is inspired by an island located in Paraná and known for the beauty of its beaches.
   For the first time, the concept and the perfume make sense and an Island that is known for its paradisiac beauty and its history of beekeeping is matched with a floral scent that creates a bouquet of white flowers with nuances of floral honey. It is not a sweetish fragrance, as it would be expected when you think of honey, but rather a scent that sees the aura of honey exhaled from the flower, as if it were the time of its harvest by the bees and the air was impregnated by its lush and attractive floral aura.
   The idea of the honey blossom is worked in an abstract way, starting with a fresher and metallic hyacinth floral combined with citrus nuances and evolving into a bouquet of flowers with nuances of white flower and yellow flower. It is a harmony that offers the sweet and waxy aroma of gardenia, the most restrained, woody and elegant scent of the jasmine of the poets, the carnal aroma of orange blossom, the honey nuances of the rare broom absolute and the powdery-earthy nuances of iris. Ilha do Mel develops in a similar way to Marfa, with the floral aroma growing in volume with time and ending in a creamy musky vanilla base, with the difference that in Ilha do Mel the base serves more of support and does not create a gourmand aura in the composition. It is a beautiful perfume, balanced, complex and coherent between name, inspiration and execution. One of the strongest as a whole that Memo has to offer.

   I received a tester of this when I purchased the Irish Leather from the Memo boutique. All I can say is, beautiful… This is definitely on my have-to purchase list. After wearing the tester for the past couple of days I can safely confirm that it is the most beautiful floral I have ever came across.
   To me this perfume is very simple, a beautiful blend between jasmine, rich honey and a hint of orange blossom. That is literally all I smell. It is incredibly feminine, pretty, sweet and flirty. I would say its the perfect spring and summer fragrance. It reminds me of a jasmine honey luxury soap that you would get in expensive hotels. The sillage is so powerful and it stays on me for hours and hours. The whole Memo line has the best lasting power, which is why they are so worth the price. Cannot wait to treat myself to a full sized bottle next spring !

   Ilha do Mel is a beautiful sweet delicate fragrance that evokes the clear summer sky,purity, and everything is clear. The color that I perceive from this fragrance is white… a solar white, white and quiet. Merger with orange blossom and jasmine give the very noticeable smell a joyful and positive character.! I like it. ღ

   This is a fragrance for a Gardenia Lover
   Also you smell notes of mandarin, jasmine, juniper, and gardenia. The sweet floral and musk adds to the heighten note of the gardenia which last all day and year round.

   I’m not a floral guy at all and this is not the sort of scent I would wear but I can certainly appreciate it.
   Very delicate and uplifting mixture in the opening of mandarin orange and a delicate bouquet of jasmine orange blossom and hyacinth. Hyacinth is by no means a favourite floral aroma of mine, my mum always has hyacinths in her house and smell is very pungent. The mixture of jasmine and maybe the iris in here give this scent a sweetness along with the honey and vanilliac base, which make it…well just very nice.
   The quality is undeniable and this scent lasts and lasts I can’t fault it, if you’re a fan of bright and breezy florals you could do a lot worse than checking this one out.

   حينما أشم رائحة زهرة الجاردنيا، أو حتى ترتسم صورتها في مخيلتي.
   ينتبني شعور حسي بوجود هالة متفجرة من الجمال والدلال داخل قالب من الزهو لا يخلو من الغرور
   لطالما بحثت عن جميع عطور الجاردنيا وقد جذبني بعضها، وكان البعض الآخر مخيبا للآمال
   ما بين سيطرة للياسمين أو التيوب روز أو أشياء أخرى
   فأنا أبحث عن عطر جاردنيا بمقاييس الجاردنيا الناعمة والقوية ويمكن استخدامه رجاليا
   أعتقد أن عطر ميمو الجديد قد أرضى بداخلي هذا الاحتياج
   الانطلاقة مع أول رشات للعطر ستكون بخروج العرعر الراتنجي المنعش مختلطا برائحة عسل الموالح الإيطالي الذي تفوح منه رائحة تشبه البرجموت والليمون الصقلي الحلو
   الآن لا يوجد أفضل من زهرة Hyacinth: زهرة الصفير – زهرة الحزن أو زهرة المطر: “وهي نوع من الزنابق ذات رائحة مكثفة زيتية عشبية مسكرة عميقة، تنتج رائحة جميلة عند اتحادها برائحة مع رائحة الياسمين وزهر البرتقال، ilang-ilang، البنفسج، مسك الروم، زنبق الوادي والنرجس”
   لتكون همزة الربط بين هذه المقدمة السريعة الكثيفة وبين اندفاعه لاهثة للياسمين الدافئ بصحبة الجاردنيا المخملية.
   الكثيرون قد لا يستطيعون التمييز بين الياسمين الدافئ السويتي الطابع وبين الجاردنيا المخملية الحالمة الأكثر دسامة من الياسمين.
   الآن يمكنك أن تقول انك تستمتع بأروع توليفة تجمع بين الجاردنيا والياسمين من دون أن يسرق منهما الأضواء نوتات أخرى مغايرة لهذا الوسط الزهري شديد البياض.
   وأحب أن أصف العطر في هذه اللحظة بأنه عطر sentimental يخاطب الوجدان بكل فصاحة.
   لن تخرجك أزهار البرتقال المنعشة أو زهرة السوسن التي ستزيد المكان انتعاشا وشعورا بالرطوبة من هذه الحالة ولكنهما قد سيرسمان ابتسامة رضا على شفتيك
   من يدري أي خاطر قد استدعاه الآن نسيم هذا العطر من خزانة ذكرياتك.
   ستكون الفانيليا في الخاتمة دون انفراد ولكن فقط لتدعيم بقاء عبق العطر لفترة أطول.
   أعتقد أن تسمية العطر بجزيرة العسل قد يكون لرمزية العسل عن السعادة أكثر من كونها رمزا للرائحة السويتية، هكذا رأيت العطر..
   عند تجربة العطر ستكون مخيرا بين خيارين لا ثالث لهما “الغرام أو الحب” وفقط.

   يصدر العطر في عبوة 75مل بسعر حوالي 150 يورو
   أنصح جميع محبي العطور الزهرية والجاردنيا خاصة ألا تفوتهم تجربة هذا العطر واقتناءه لأنني أعتقد أن الجاردنيا بهذا النقاء والجودة لن تصمد طويلا داخل قنينة العطر بل أتوقع التلاعب والتغيير الإجباري لجودة العطر في المستقبل.
