Description

Dior is presenting new composition, Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, which gives a whole new magic of aromas.

Velvety soft petals of vanilla orchid surrounded with fruity aromas revive the scent of vanilla and add a lively frame which is not complete without Damascus rose. Instead of Sambac jasmine, Demachy includes ylang-ylang extract, while orange blossom absolute adds a full and gorgeous sensual note. To create impression of tasty fruit notes, this composition uses tuberose and vanilla, while green leaves and stem carry the scent of freshness. A base of Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle incorporates creamy trace of sandalwood and musk, which are as harmonious as a woman’s siluette.
The new seductive fragrance by Dior – Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle is available as 50 and 100 ml, as well as 100 ml spray deodorant from September 2010.
The nose behind this fragrance is Francois Demachy.

I recently received this in a blind swap and love it! I wasn’t sure at first, but after a couple tries, yes, for me, this one is a winner. I’m not really a fan of HP EDP because of the prominent licorice or EDT because of that Play-Doh scent that I just can’t get passed.
To me, HP Eau Sensuelle is like HP EDP and Poison Girl EDT had a baby! It has some of the dept and complexity of HP EDP with some of the lightness and sugariness of PG EDT, and none of that Play-Doh business.
It has moderate to heavy sillage and it’s fairly long lasting, but it is also somehow light and airy.

Ámulatba ejtően szép, virágos illat. Nagyon jó áron sikerült hozzájutnom egy üveghez és nem találok szavakat!
Számomra a legszebb Poison <3 Édes, de nem gejl. A medvecukor vonal is szépen muzsikál benne, virágos jellege gyönyörűen kibontakozik a bőrömön. 🙂

What this seriously reminds me of is YSL Cinema, lots of warm orange zest with loads of honeyed vanilla and a huge soft floral aspect to boot. The vanilla isn’t the original’s spiced at all. This scent is really its own thing. It’s very sweet and thick, aspects of thick cosmetic powder mixed with a lot of candied orange peel and vanilla.
Along with Secrete, I don’t get the root beer vanilla, just a plain type. It’s still warm and cozy in a way but just not what I was expecting. I prefer the spicy root beer vanilla notes in the original much more than the the citrus and florals here. It’s nice enough, but leaves me missing the original. I actually prefer the Secrete which is basically Sensuelle Light. Sensuelle can be a touch thick and cloying for me.

I ordered this off Amazon Canada after reading all my fellow Fragranticans glowing reviews, and just received it today. I own and love the original Hypnotic Poison, both the EDT and the EDP. The original (ETD) is one of my all time favourite fragrances, consistently withstanding the test of time.
Of course, I eagerly ripped open the box as soon as the postman arrived at my door, and that beautiful, weighted bottle glistened up at me. I rip off the cap and stick my nose directly on the nozzle, inhaling deeply, enjoying the sensation of the cool metal on my nose. Yes, this is definitely related to my beloved HP, but they aren’t sisters. 2nd cousins, perhaps, but not sisters, as this beauty is more about the flowers.
Getting wafts of it in the air, I do smell the original – that luscious, familiar, play doh-y, rootbeer-y aroma that you either love or hate. However, if I smell my skin at close range, I detect some sort of flowers. It actually sort of reminds me of Kenzo Amour, which I also have, and which also feels heavier on the floral aspect. Fragrantica describes this as a ‘livelier’ version of the original, and I agree with that. It smells brighter, certainly.
This is a beautiful take on the original, and I’m glad I’ve added it to my collection, especially seeing as it’s discontinued. However, the original Hypnotic Poison still is, and will always remain, one of my favourite fragrances of all time.

I found a 3.4 oz unopened bottle of this. I’m wondering if anyone has a formula number from the first release of this to compare to what I bought. The date code is December 2010 but I want to check this isn’t a revised version. Thank you!

for me it’s the original HP with some floral vibes
a bit citrus and less milky less nutty
    it develops more feminine
and more suitable for other seasons like spring or autumn because the original seems only suitable for cold winter days
This one is far way better than the eau secrete
i am a crazy fan of this at first
then after i had used for about 10ml
i lost my passion for this one
and finally i feel that the original HP is better than this one in any aspect
so this is a like, not a love

Just reveived this today, and after receiving Hypnotic Poison the other day, I am now comparing both.
I find the HP Sensuelle MORE flowery vanilla than the original. I get different “pops” of flowers weaving in and out…then the vanilla backing them up.Sensuelle is almost smoother than the original too…the bitter almond is rather subdued in Sensuelle. I love it !!
And IMHO, it is OK to own both,as I detect the differences enough to enjoy both for different vibes/reasons. Bravo !!

I loved this fragrance years ago and worn it in 2011 as a signature fragrance. People could easily recognize me;). By the way, eau sensuelle was a sillage monster on my skin.
I loved how the deep flower scent mingled with the vanilla note. Or else: One could have described the vanilla note as “flowery”. There were also some woody undertones that I always liked in scents. It was also the first perfume I wore that developed a pronounced orange blossom touch. I thought that was delicious. But most of all, I liked how the fragrance unfolds the floral notes that emerge step by step: first orange blossom, then followed by powdery jasmine and vanilla orchid.
After I used up my third bottle, I was a little tired from vanilla scents in general and returned to my usual chypre scents.
A few months ago I wanted to buy a new bottle, but I realized that production had ceased. I found that hard to understand because the following fragrance (Hypnotic Poison Eau Secrete) was only half as good, not complex enough for my taste. And I missed the Woody Vibes which Eau Sensuelle had.
This christmas I got La vie est belle ECLAT as a present. I was positively surprised when I saw a certain resemblance to the lost Eau Sensuelle. It’s not a dupe – not by far – but it has the same flowery vanilla vibe with a woody background. Recommended for all lovers of Eau Sensuelle.

I was able to get my hands on a full 100ml bottle of this beauty. Hypnotic poison vintage EDT is one of my absolute favourite! I find myself reaching for this stunner. To me, this smells like jasmine, sweet oranges and powdered sugar, with some vanilla and almonds in the background. It’s like a brighter, less powdery version of Hypnotic Poison.
This kind of smells like Mark’s and Spencer’s Island Sunset, but that one is a bit more ambery.
HP eau sensuelle lasts for about 5/6 hours on my skin.

I currently am using this perfume and is very special. I love the way how I can feel the smell and often rubbing my hand to my neck to feel it once again.
It is a fragrance that you can not get bored with and I really want to use it everyday, day and night.

  15. :

To me this is a skin scent, nothing in common with the HP or any of the HP flankers. It’s mostly a flowery/ vanilla and powder scent. I agree with another comment that this has to be removed the title Poison. It was a blind buy I kind of regret. Nothing special to me, I prefer the secrete if it wasn’t so weak at projection and longevity.

Dior hypnotic poison is my signature perfume and always will be. Can die for the scent which is so sensual as the name says and sophisticated. Love love love it. I hope that Dior will not discontinue this.

I like it, it is nice, but I prefer HP EDT so much more, eau sensuelle , looses the gourmand , and goes into the flowery direction. I love the gourmands so much more.

The elixir of love!!! And I am in love with HP. Just imagine a beautiful Fall, late afternoon, and Robert Frost’s, “The Road Less Traveled”, suddenly comes to life. You find yourself walking down a rural, wooded, nature trail somewhere where time has stopped. And all you hear is the soft crackling of fallen leaves under your feet. Suddenly, an adorable, fluffy, puppy comes bouncing toward you from the sultry underwood. So you bend over and pick him up, and upon straightening up, the scent of freshly cut sweet clover from a distant farmer’s field comes floating around you, enveloping you, hugging you. You faintly smell vanilla and jasmine in the air, falling down around you from the falling leaves. The puppy whimpers, and you hug him to reinsure him that all is well. You continue your walk with the sensual, wooded undertones guiding on your way and the world stands still. That’s what Hypnotic Poison reminds me of. Love it. Love it!!

Sensual is damn right. This has the sheerness of the EdP but none of the liquorice, essentially it’s something inbetween the EdP and EdT. I also swear that this is a jasmine bomb first and foremost, but the notes say orange flower and tuberose. That being said, there’s also a tartness to it which is not found in the EdT. If the original HP is too gourmand for you, or the root beeriness of it bothers you, this is as good as it gets.

I got this as an extra in a swap and I wasn’t expecting to like it. I’ve always felt that Poison looked good on paper but was too much to my nose.
This is actually really good. I do seem to have a soft spot for tuberose and vanilla. But this grows and evolves without ever being too sweet or too floral and is heady without being cloying. In the first hour or so I could swear there was a spicy note that I’m not seeing listed. Sometimes I got a really great cedar note and I wouldn’t be surprised to find some oud in the formulation.
The longevity is amazing. I was never overwhelmed or disappointed by the scent. I am very impressed.
    -=-=-=-
Wore this again today and it’s better than I remembered. Warm and musky but flowery and sweet and spicy and creamy without ever seeming overdone. Typically scents described as well blended translates to too perfumey because I like being able to pick out the notes. This is well blended done right.

I got a sample vial some time ago. I love the smell from the beginning till the end (which comes after very long.) All notes are well mixed. It is simply perfect.
Having finally found this precious gem, I realize it is being discontinued as I cannot find it anywhere.
    That’s not fair!

Firstly, why does it have to be discontinued Dior u fools u should have made this in edp as I just want to amp this beautiful fragrance up even more !
I love love love You hYpNoTic eau SeNsUellE !!
I’m a sucker for Dior midnight poison and original poison u no the one with plummy notes , b4 the plums were removed and it was nuetered lol 😉
but even though I have a mini collection I have never bought hypnotic poison edt , just not got to it yet. However for some odd reason this bottle came up first the flanker , well I’m a lover like most everyone else!
I became so obsessed that I literally slept with my bottle at the end of my bed,( made sure would not fall) so it would be the first thing I would go to and smell each day , I know craziness! My man looked at me like I was nuts lol!
After a few weeks I added it to my collection and stopped sleeping next to it 🙂
lovely orange blossom with a vibe like icing sugar and marzipan, with a musk that is velvety and the softest sandalwood .
This fragrance is weightless so gentle, a caressing of the skin but Francois Demachy has done this magical aroma in a way no one else could, the vanilla is not custard but more frosting or buttery the florals settle so softly I see totally why it’s called eau sensuelle !
I can say it’s velvety and feminine a little powdery but done perfectly nothing overwhelming yet highly addictive I think I will deffo invest in the first edt and the edp if there similar to this !!
I got another way of explaining this fragrance, icing sugared light flowers , my hubby had no idea what I ment by that but I knew what I ment lol 🙂
A fellow fragrantican summed this up by saying this is like soft vanilla baby powder- soft lightly sweet , nice and comforting : I could not agree more !
This version is nothing much like the EDP which is equally wicked in a different way. Eau sensuelle is dusky powdery bliss , the EDP is far darker and sweeter yet sweet done very very classy, not much liquorice in the sensuelle but that’s amped up in EDP, sensuelle is more floral instead.
There quite different so if you can get both do !
A million outa 10 ! This fragrance is a MASTERPIECE, my favourite of the favourites please God let me see, bid and Win every Bottle on eBay that’s affordable, and anyone who reads this is ~^HYPNOTISED^~ from These Words and just cannot help but move away from this review thinking negative things of hypnotic poison eau sensuelle, so u don’t want any do you ? That’s right you reading this you , yes YOU ,, what’s that , you hate all hypnotic poison especially this one, Christian Dior is a complete BUMBOCLAAT, agreeed sister :))))))) that’s it you boycott HPES ,
I will give your bottle a new home dear !! haha PMSL :))
Dior u mushrooms bring ths back or else ‘!!!!!!!!!

this is beautiful-soft, vanilla…perfect for fall/winter. i purchased this at universal perfumes and cosmetics in kuwait-a perfume oil, no less. and it is perfect-very concentrated-a drop behind each ear, and at the base of my skull, on my neck, and i am still smelling it tonight.
when i first got it a few weeks ago-i said’vanilla? they are crazy-this is a bad batch.’ so i put it in the linen closet, in the dark, and let it settle for a few weeks. i pulled it out today and ….perfect. the vanilla sees almost buttery to me-soft florals faintly in the background.
i am thrilled, because i tried this a few years ago- decanted sample-and i never thought i would smell it again-i am so thrilled i was wrong.

This is my favorite autumn perfume is my favorite season of the year too. It increases a little my melancholy reminds me of the dry leaves that fall from the trees, the first fresh winds that would represent the floral face of this perfume as well as the smell of the first times a stove is turned on after many days of intense heat represented in the warm phase of vanilla and sandalwood. A pity that has been discontinued although I have my bottle for several autumns…

Another Ebay find I managed to get cheap. (50ml bottle still half full) The phillistine selling it posted it to me in a jiffy bag and NOTHING ELSE! No extra bubble wrap, no newspaper, nothing. By some miracle it arrived unscathed. It is everything I hoped for, a version of Hypnotic Poison WITHOUT the heavy play-doh note that I really hate. It’s lovely, more floral and sweet but not cloying. But I doubt I shall fork out the £300 some are asking on Amazon for their remaining bottles..
I think the bottle is the nicest in this series, lovely glossy but translucent deep red glass.

Oh this perfume is beautiful, it is kind of the same as the Hypnotic poison eau de toilette, but more fresh and a bit flowery, i think even the longevity is better. Really is for collectors of The HP family. It is worth the cost as it is with the midnight poison.
Monica Belluci as the face of it says it all.. Cant be more vibrating and energetic feminine than that..victory is guaranteed.!!

For me hypnotic poison (eau sesnsuelle)is the best of dior. It is way more better than the new hypnotic poison (eau perfume).HP sesuelle is really unique, sexyyyyyy, mysterious, it is a mix of devil and angel.IT makes me feel sexy and confident as if i am embodied with supernatural powers. When i spray it, every body question me about it and compliment me.My ex used to adore it for it’s heaviness and sensuality, unlike the new HP which is weaker and less strong and less vanilla, and it doesn’t last at all.I prefer the woody and powdery combination it is a great one and it made it smell better. The combination of orchid is amazing with the vanilla and less sweetness in it, which gives her more sexy and mysterious scent that never leaves the nose. The base notes in this Hp just nailed it,the musky and sandal wood are perfect. At first it is heavy but as time passes it becomes more adorable especially the woody combination and the vanilla and orchid.the scent always stays deep even after 12hr and i will stay feeling sexy and love my self. All this greatness isn’t found in the new Hp.I didn’t like the almond and the soft spicy at all.The new HP fades fast but it is still a good one but i hope HP (eau sensuelle ) stays forever in the market and don’t take it away.It is my signature and i would like to keep it this way for long.HP (eau sesnuelle) really is hypnotic and makes you live a fairy tail and who smell it especially guys fall in love with you without knowing you, it attracts.I will always adore it and never exchange it with anything else. Please don’t take it out of market.

I was so keen to try this, I bought a full bottle unsniffed. I thought a floral Hypnotic Poison sounded interesting. It’s not. Instead, the floral notes are bitter and have an unpleasant sharp, powdery note in the dry down. Turns out strong florals are completely out of place in HP. I prefer the campfire and licorice notes added to the newer Hypnotic Poison EDP over this mess any day.

ist like a soft vanila Baby powder – soft lightly sweet, perfect for everyday use, just nice and comforting, soothing, not bold at all. I like it much better than the original because of the lack of the bold fruits

I was given a sample of Hypnotic Sensuelle once. This is like the regular one with intensified the floral notes. The floral part of the core feels stronger and adds sensuality to the sweet oriental composition.

    This is a gorgeous poison.
I think this is a flanker with the best DNA that reminds me of Poison. Could it be a great grandaughter of it? You bet.
Its a sensual floral with tuberose, orchid, vanilla and creamy ylang ylang. Its modern with the times concept of “a poison.”
I dont think its super related to the original HP,much more than sharing the name, and sharing the vanilla aspects, as HP is more gourmand and ES is in the floral oriental category with its predecessor the original Poison. Staying in line with the time, ES does not have the huge presence, and becomes a skin scent to me, but wear time is moderate. I wish they would have amped up the silage and the longevity as a wink and a nod to the original Poison, which we all know it was a behemoth in its time.
ES has an overall fresh presentation that I enjoy. I really like it best out of all the Poison flankers. This is definitely back up bottle worthy. I wish they would make this in a EDP and larger sizes. A classic.

Is magnetic and hypnotic!, very very original scent. You cant never go wrong with this one. Even if you are wearing simple clothes this fragance will dress you better than anything. Is a gem and a modern classic like its big brother poison.
Is very expensive, but you get what you pay

A highly combinatorial perfume to special occasions and / or romantic, I can not see him out of this context in any way. 12 years after the launch of its version “matrix”, his predecessor Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle version hits the market and becomes a knockout between vanillic oriental perfumes, and between the public who likes this pungent scent family and highly diabetic [ laughs] … Like any good flanker, this also brings its pioneering arrays claws and DNA the consecrated last assigning them success and recognition, and for being a Dior chances of something going wrong is almost nonexistent, that’s good. Well, Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle has in its top notes a romanticism between living dewy roses for edible Vanilla, Ylang Ylang silky like a fine fabric and a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers Orange exhaling innocence and affection absurdly every move performed. In your heart show the characteristics of the Maison Christian Dior gene, that “something” luxury, cleanliness, elite that Casa prints nicely in his creations represented here by intense Tuberose, creamy, consistent, concentrated, pure and also live as roses beyond the entrance, which this flower is revealed to be this fragrance is to establish a perpetual romance without fear of future regrets, in it a sweet and sharp orchid very similar to poignant perceived Orchid in the acclaimed Black Orchid by Tom Ford, which refer to certain restrained sensuality, something very same simple. In its base notes, which by the way never seem to get, as the scent evolves slowly to fix absurdly, we realize more vanilla with sawdust tones, musk and sandalwood oils, giving it orientality, romanticism, benquísmo, joy and will to live yes, the feeling of “love of life” that the Eau de Sensuelle conveys is exquisite in its essential, sending its use for events and loaded with tender affection, preferably. Longevity worthy of a Dior, and who submit to it, get ready for the compliments and questions of the most diverse “im” possible to imagine!
Word of the day: caring… (day 27)

dark, sweet and beautiful <3 even though I love Hypnotic Poison, I have to admit I kinda like this version a little bit more…Eau Sensuelle seems to fit my chemistry better too. a first spray instead of getting just a rootbeer like opening, this one has a twist! rosey citrus! then when it dries down it starts to smell like rootbbeer(thanks to the Vanilla) like the original Hypnotic poison with floral, wood and musk notes! this scent is overall beautiful! please try it and snag it when you can! Eau Sensuelle is a gem!

Absolutely love this perfume. Works better in winter however, so I’m shocked that people wear it in warmer weather.
It’s this perfume that got me to love Dior as a brand. Later moved on to J’Adore and Gris Montaigne.
Stunning stunning stunning. One of my favorites.

This is definitely a sister to the original HP. On me it starts out floral and even slightly fruity. After a couple of hours the orange blossom emerges and is prominent. I’m not usually a fan of orange blossom as it can turn a bit furniture-polishy on me, but here it is a joy. The best part of this scent is the drydown, it becomes a gorgeous candy vanilla with a dreamy sandalwood and musk vibe which I adore. I own HP as well, but I prefer this, mainly for the drydown. I am a big sandalwood fan and I keep getting wafts of it, ahhhh! While HP is the uber-cool slightly untouchable older sister, Eau Sensuelle is a bit less in your face, the more approachable and altogether friendlier younger sister.

  40. :

For me this is a very heavy aromatic perfume, but I like it because I looooove vanilla. In combination with the ylang-ylang it becomes a bomb of sexiness.
I have a bottle for some 2 years now, I spray it now and then, only in the evening because I think it’s too heavy for daytime or work.
I also use this one in combination with Prada’s Candy and I like that combination of heavy aroma’s of vanille and ylang-ylang with the soft sweet caramel touch of Candy.

Last year I blind bought HP because I LOVE Vanilla and especially almond! But when I got it all I smelled was root beer, ugh! So I swapped it.
I JUST got a sample decant of HP Eau Sensuelle with a swap and it’s been sitting on my coffee table for a few days. I was like EW! I’m just gonna give it away with my next swap. Luckily, I gave it a go and I LOVE IT!
Wow… crazy how a small change to a scent can make you go from hate to love!

Omg, this is amazing. Beautiful autumn / winter fragrance. I can smell an amazing ylang-ylang (which I love, generally), the “typical” HP vanilla, but it’s less sweet than the original Hypnotic Poison. So happy to have it.

  43. :

I love this. I feel like this is one of the few perfumes that does orange blossom correctly and doesn’t come off smelling overly citrusy or like a creamsicle (the latter can definitely happen a lot when orange blossom is combined with vanlla…) It has an airy quality while still being velvety and rich smelling- how do they do it? This is a really good floral version of Hypnotic Poison, especially for those who don’t like the play-doh aspect of the original (I don’t detect it here).
Just lovely. Very sad this has been discontinued, I recommend stocking up on this if you love it– I missed the boat on HP elixir & many midnight poison versions and am still bummed out about it – not making that mistake a second time!

  44. :

    5 out of 5

Best vanilla orchid scent I’ve tried. I love this one and I see many other members alike.
To me the orchid note is tricky. As a synthetic note more often than not in an orchid-dominant perfume the plasticky orchid smell overshadows any other notes, and I hate that smell so much. I don’t know how Dior did it, but in Eau Sensuelle the orchid scent melds so well with the vanilla, it’s as if I’m sniffing a floral vanilla variant rather than vanilla and orchid. This is my definition of a well-blended perfume right there.
Eau Sensuelle opens with that floral vanilla note and some very fresh rose and orange blossom, the ylang is very sheer, almost undetectable to me. It’s not very sweet. About 1 hour in the freshness fades and milkiness of sandalwood and tuberose appears. It turns a little bit heavier, muskier, but never becomes overly sweet or pungent, and still projects nicely (1 foot at least). It doesn’t change much from there on, but what a nice vanilla heaven it is!
Might not be the cheapest scent out there, but is SO WORTH IT. Since Dior discontinued this gem, anyone who’s interested in vanilla or floral scent should at least get a decant or mini soon before it’s too late!
P.s. Jo Malone’s Vanilla & Anise is a fresher, more herbal cousin of this one. The vanilla-orchid harmony is shared by both perfumes.

This is my second favorite HP, and I believe the most wearable. The original is amazing, but since you can’t get it anymore (the current formulation is not quite the same), I would say that the current EDP (is it being discontinued already???) is my favorite, but this is a close second! What I like about this is that the “play-doh” note is subdued, so it’s a little more light, floral, “summery”. I get a similar “feeling” to the original EDT but somehow it’s just so wearable. I feel that I have to be in the mood for HP EDT or EDP. This one is sooo sexy and lasts ALL day so that makes me happy. The EDP has a more heavy, thick, almond, vanilla, and licorice scent. The EDT is more “play-doh-y” and also rich, thick, almost pasty. The Eau Sensuelle is like a sensual, rich flower rather than a glob of melting ice cream (like the others), if that makes sense.
P.S. Get this while you still can! Dior discontinued it (like they do all the good perfumes 🙁 ) and so you’ll be SOL pretty soon. Fragrance net . com has it at a good price!

Velvety, sensual, strong, sweet, intoxicating, warm, spicy, utterly feminine, very-very beautiful. The notes – yes, I agree, it’s tuberose, rose and orchid on a woody, musky base.
So in love with this one!

This is such a beautiful fragrance!!!! I have first come across the original HP 4 years ago when my Italian assistant manageress was loyal at wearing it. I enjoyed the scent then, but since she was wearing it… I just simply didn’t find the point of bringing myself to get the same fragrance as her.I vividly remembered the vanilla from the original HP.
Last year, as a gift my friend got me a set of Dior miniatures perfume and I found out that there was the miniature of HP(Which I latter discovered that it was the eau senuelle version) and during last winter I was using it. I was and still am in love with the scent!! everyday I have gotten so many compliments from both men and women… people I thought to be too arrogant to give me such comments gave me them. That gave me that very decision to purchase a full size one! When carefully examining the bottle, that was when I realized that I wasn’t using the original HP.
I was puzzled for a while due to whether I should purchase the original or I should purchase the eau sensuelle version. I have been on this site many times to look into reviews and at the end I have decided to get the eau senuelle since it was this perfume that gave me all those compliments! And honestly, I don’t regret it a single bit! I absolutely love this perfume and up till this day whenever I’m wearing it, I hear all those compliments and asking me what I’m wearing.
People compare this too much to the original HP… I have go smell the original one and find myself really loving this one so much better. honestly, this fragrance deserves it’s own crowd of followers instead of just being compared to the original. It may not be for everyone but this is what true sophistication smells like

260 people think that eau sensuelle and the original hp smell similar!!!
This is really awkward..to me there’s a huge difference..actually one of my frieds absolutely love the original and absolutely dislike eau sensuelle..this is quite misleading imho

I just got this perfume today, it was the best blind buy ever! I like Hypnotic Poison but I’ve always thought that is too intense for me, this version is a little bit softer but still have the vanilla notes that I love from the first one. I love it!

This is very nice! Very strong, only 1 spray needed for a great sillage (outside armlength) and holds for easily 6 hours.
I have smelled the Hypnotic Poison and the 2 flankers eau Secrete and eau Sensuelle. Although I ‘liked’ the original HP, it was a little boring to me and did nothing really. The two daughters, eau Secrete and eau Sensuelle are like angel/devil twins. Secrete is much more extrovert and easily goes out, flirting, dancing, seducing and you know the woman hides a little devil inside her. The other one, Sensuelle is more the quite, sweet one. Her power is great, but more soft and calming. The combination of creamy almonds, young orange blossom and a velvety orchid gives that calm touch I believe. That’s probably the big difference with her sister, who has a lot of juicy citrusses.
Eau Sensuelle is an amazing done perfume and it’s sad it is discontinued. Great to go out with, but also great for a evening on the couch, movie, wine and cheese with crackers. Elegant yet young, sweet without the sugar.

I don’t like the rose in this one. It’s an OK fragrance and one of the most common smells out there. I don’t think I would wear this, it’s a tiring scent for me.
And there’s a huge difference with the original, I am comparing them as I’m posting this.
