Synthetic smell, a lil bit too harsh for me. But not as harsh as Lacoste Challenge. On the positive side, the smell is long lasting. Well, i’ll go with Cool Play.

One of my absolute favorite men’s scents, according to Lacoste this was inspired by the heat of the sun and was released with Cool Play as flankers to Style in Play. I think in this case, the flanker is actually better than the original…
This starts off with a juicy yuzu citrus note surrounded by pepper and nutmeg. Sweet, fragrant and slightly spicy yet smooth. The spices are warm and the yuzu is sparkling and lush, a fitting allegory to the Sun. In the heart, soft freesia blooms alongside reedy papyrus and green ivy resulting in a flowery, airy woodiness kissed with greens, quite different for a male scent. In the drydown, guaiac wood’s strong but subtle aroma blends with a light and very clean musk. This is a very nice scent and very playful. It is ‘hot’ in the way an attractive person is hot: pleasing, sensual and natural. This is a great summer scent and wears well in the heat. This could have been a unisex scent, but the drydown does lean a bit towards the masculine. I adore it because it is so much softer than most men’s scents but refreshing and still not ‘perfumey’…
Sillage: close but good
Longevity: above average
Overall:4.5/5
Discontinued now, this one is a challenge to find and I am guilty of saying “I’ll get it later” when I saw it on a department store website for more than 1/2 off the retail. Now it is gone and I’m almost out! Word must be out that it has been discontinued because everyone’s prices are way up…

This scent is great and the combination is really pleasant, I strongly disagree it is a bad scent, besides it is very hard to find so that makes it more exclusive. As with all fragrances you should try it on your skin first, I agree with that.

this is one of the sexiest scents for men. i like all the notes in this. i innitally bought it for me thinking i could pull it off, but then gave it to my boyfriend because it was too manly for me

Bad scent. The citrus and musk do not mix. Initially pleasant, but quickly turns sour.
Before you buy it, test it and make sure it jives with your body chemistry.
