Description
Hell is the place sinners go to after death. It also said to be an underworld prison and torture chamber where sinful spirits are punished.
According to Babylonian legend, the underworld is known as “the land of no return” for both humans and gods alike. Despite knowing this, Ishtar, the goddess of love and war decided to undertake the journey to hell to rescue her dead lover. At each of the seven gates, she had to shed a piece of clothing that symbolized her divinity. Eventually, Ishtar met Erishkigal, the goddess of death face-to-face and collapsed to her own death.
The unconditional and selfless love that overcomes hell is demonstrated in a Father’s love. In exchange for the safety and happiness of his beloved children, he will gladly give up everything. Only a Father’s sacrificial love can conquer the gates of hell and the assurance of His love gives us the strength and courage to press on. Hell 地狱 was launched in 2014.
Kar-Pushkin – :
This is a lovely fragrance. In fact, I have had the pleasure of visiting a Re:classified boutique and have tried a range of their fragrances. For the reasonable price (around 320元, or £37 for 80ml) I consideer them to be good value.
This perfume is lovely. It is not a masterpiece. The notes individually are evident and strike me as good, but not high, quality. They stand alone, though, and do not blend into a coherent whole extremely well.
The initial spray is all black pepper. I cannot notice so much cardomom
After five minutes, I can detect a sourish vetiver alongside the confessed ceder. There is a dusty smell of cinnamon (like a jar of ground cinnamon left in a kitchen cupboard a little too long, but, hell, who wants to smell like a christmas cake?)
After quarter of an hour, the vetiver is still there quite intensely, but leather comes into the background. A spanish, rather than a russian leather. (So I have failed again in my attempt to fins a Russian leather that I can really afford….Damn you Chanel!)
After Half an hour, it is a spanish leather, in the style of Tom Ford, with a hint of vetiver still lingering. It becomes a fairly clean, new boot, leather scent for about six hours thereafter.
It’s lovely, really.
Now, many Chinese people are smokers, given the cheapness of cigarettes (there is a government tobacco monopoly here in China).
This fragrance would be perfect for a smoker. No, I am a quite heavy smoker and this fragrance blends with that ok. Hell mixes well with cigarette smoke. I also use a shower gel and moisturiser scented with (cheap, synthetic) jasmine, which this fragrance layers well with it.
Congratulations to Re:Classified for knowing their audience! This is a combination of challenges common here!
Even if you are not in China, if you want a reasonably priced, woody/vetiver/leather fragrance, I would recommend this, if you can get ahold of it.
(N.B. This is available on TaoBao (Chinese Ebay), but it is difficult to persuade many sellers there to ship overseas.Look for TaoBao agents)
