I had the chance to try this new perfume from Minya Viktoria and I write my review based an a sample I got from Grasse. Dear all, I cannot precisely tell how Im suprised with this fragrance. I like black currant notes, I have many perfumes with it. I wanted to try Hedonist cassis because of this note, and of course, as a hungarian, I was very curious. Already at the first smell I knew that I already felt this somewhere, somewhere very close to me in the very past. Yet, I didnt now what and where and how. That day gone and finished with a nice smell on my wrist, without knowing why does Hedonist Cassis make me feel like if I was in the 90’s. After 2 days I put once again Hedonist Cassis and my memories of a very green bottle with very pink flower cup just came up into my mind, and I knew that this “smell” was one of my favourite perfume. I already forgot that I had this. I even didnt know its name. I googled it based on notes and year, its Les Belles de Ricci Liberty Fizz. Sniffing my nose on my wrist I see myself when I was 22 or so, wearing this beautiful, fresh, green, fruity fragrance, and I dont understand myself, how could I forget such a beautiful scent, like this. Thanks Viktoria, this memory came back to my life and brought back a little part of my forgetted past! Wearing Hedonist Cassis makes me feel like I found something very precious!

I ordered a sample of this, and I don t regret it. A very interesting fruity scent aroma, I love it. I was a pleasant surprise for me. The black currant scent which is the dominant is mixed with a slight of lemon, rose and cedar. Great mix.

I have been applying and wearing this for a week now. I have to say it is a pleasant surprise for me. A unique fruity fresh scent perfect for spring. For me grapefruit and rhubarb is the dominant, of course I feel the black currant as well, but grapefruit caught better my nose 🙂

A perfume which catches the eternal spring feeling. I love the black currant and musk scents, it hits my nose when I apply it. The bulgarian rose and the fresh green grass gives me that after rain atmosphere, when the sun comes out of the clouds and the vet grass is shining.
Above these impressions, an elegant fruity scent.

It is a very fresh, fruity scent. To be honest, I expected something sweeter, till now I like it. I feel this a black currant+rose combination. At least this is what dominates on my skin.

I have been following the Viktoria Minya perfumes. I have seen the progress and the new perfumes coming out. Till now I have to say that Iris and Hedonist Cassis are my favorite. i adore the iris musky-woody scent.
Hedonist Cassis gives me the perfect scent balance. I am not into the very sweet scents. This one is fruity, fresh, I feel the fresh green grass as I apply it, than the dominant grapefruit comes up and a slight cedar hits my nose. It s lovely, pleasant. I ve been looking for these scents for a long time in this combination. I think I found something unique.
The bottle again is lovely, like at all Hedonist perfumes.

What fragrantica lists as top notes are indeed correct. I can feel the black current scent as long as it s applied, that doesn t go away. Great longevity. It s super fresh, very fruity , but not that playful fruity, this one is an elegant fruity which you can wear on a date.

Very nice, soft and a bit powdery. Reminds me of L’imperatrice 3 by D&G, since the cassis note ressembles to a pomegranate to my nose. Light, unoffensive, but good sillage and longevity! Very feminine.

This is something alluring. When I saw the bottle,immediately caught my attention. The scents are amazing, the black current is felt as soon as you apply it. Than a green fresh fragrance comes up with that unique rose aroma. Perfect for spring, but perfect in any season. Another big surprise for me is the crystal in the bottle, REAl crystal. Great estetique taste. Almost everyone around me complimented and asked me about the perfume. Lovely

So my bottle has arrived. When you have it in your hands it is even greater. The bottle is just beautiful, it s elegant, gorgius, it lift you mooode.
The perfume itself is great , the black currant, grapefruit, rhubarb are indeed the top notes love it. It is fresh, I like that the notes develop in a kind of sequence, adore it. And it lasts long.

According to a repost on her Instagram page, these are the notes:
Top: Black currant, grapefruit, rhubarb
Heart: Rose, fresh cut grass
Base: Cedarwood, musk
And let me tell you, after wearing this for an entire day, I can say for sure this is more correct than what Fragrantica listed. The top is very clearly grapefruit. I don’t know about the rhubarb and black currant, but it’s VERY grapefruit-y and super fresh. The grass note doesn’t develop until a bit later, where you also get a green, soft rose, but it’s prominently grassy. The base is very musky. In fact, I get very little wood. It’s a very soft, gentle, pretty dry-down, and takes HOURS to get there. Overall a very pretty scent for summer. Thank you very much to Viktoria for sending me this sample. loved it, i am following this perfumer for a while and saw her in some perfume exhibitions in Italy and i am more and more liking her creations.this Cassis version of the Hedonist series is the second perfume around Cassis i want to have (i bought the sample to check first :)) since YSL’s In Love Again. it surely is a daring creation. i will ask Santa to buy it for me 😀
