i think this is teh best from the range. warm and musky in the good way, not extremely powdery like the original. that scent that you would wear walking in the park in nice autumn afternoon. to me smells also a bit minty. it also remindes me of yankee candle’s autumn glow. nevertheless one of avon’s top 5!

Take the coconut away from the original Far Away, you’ll have this Gold version. It is a little bit more oriental and warmer than the original with the prominent vanilla and ylang ylang. The dry down is so comforting with peach and orange blossom standing out. For the price, this is as good as it can get, and so much better than other low-key fragrances. I like it a lot.

This is my first Avon from the “far away” collection so i’m not biased and i never smelled the original one.
This is really a lighter version of Casmir Chopard. Casmir is one of my two signature fragrances so i was shocked when i tried Far Away Gold the first time. But after a few minutes you can smell some differences: It’s less heavier and the sillage isn’t as huge as Casmir.
Also Far away Gold is a lot more creamy and less oriental than Casmir and a tiny bit more tropical- i really think if you are big lover of Casmir like i am, you will be very happy with this for the summer time.

This is comfort in a bottle, to me. The original Faraway was always a staple in my home growing up. I’d completely forgotten about it until I learnt this was a flanker of it and the memories came flooding back.
Whilst it shares a lot of similarity with the original, this is truly a scent of its own too. It’s warm, powdery amber that envelopes you in an aura of ylang and vanilla kisses, opulant and golden.
The lushness reminds me of the sun hanging low and red over the dusty desert skies during a trip to the Middle East and when I spray it, I’m brought back to that wonderful place.
I couldn’t be without this scent now. Truly a winner in terms of complexity, longevity and sensation.

I’d imagine nectar to smell like this…:) ylang and jasmine covered in honey, slightly powdery, slightly tropical. The peach note gets stronger with time which I actually like and prefer over ylang.
it is a better offering than many mainstream and celebrity fragrances out there in the same category. Pleasant – if that is all you need from a frag, then definitely worth buying.
I used to have the original Far Away but it does not hit me as a close match – think YSL Cinema is closer.

Initial spray brings Grape soda with Coca-cola. Then a bit of vanilla peeks through. Does not agree with my skin chemistry but wonderful as air freshener.
    One spray on me:
    Sillage: two to three feet
    Longevity: about an hour
    Rating: 2/5

Don’t Prejudge This line of fragrances – the first spray, was not to my liking. But after trying this another 2 days, LOVE this! And am already starting to receive compliments. This may become another SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE for me! I am already receiving incredibly great compliments from people that I do not know… this stuff is REALLY GOOD! Just be patient with the dry down time. It sets up super strong, but then warms with your chemistry.
Avon just created a horoscope recommendation for fragrances.
Far Away Gold falls into the Leo category, which definitely suits my horoscope symbol!
    ———-
I ordered the cute Fragrance sample sizes of the Far Away Collection. It came in a very cute purple and red harlequin circular pattern that is adorable, within itself. The 3 fragrances are:
    Far Away
    Far Away Gold
    Far Away Infinity
I prefer the Far Away Infinity because it set up immediately on my skin – and created a chord without any individual notes competing for competition.
The Far Away Gold, the first time – set up a bit vanilla and powdery for my taste. The initial run of this – I’m not liking it near as well as the Far Away Infinity. This was coming in way too powdery… and I hate to use this term – because I’m the one that has gone on a lot of rants with this, but this smells “old lady” to me… it does. I can’t use another term, because this is the thing that immediately came to mind. This stronger smell can be pretty overwhelming right at first, but BE PATIENT. Good things come to those that wait… this warms up into an incredibly alluring, sexy sophisticated, magical scent after about 30 minutes to an hour.
However, the first time I tried it – I was eating a lot of garlic around the holidays to fight off the cold and flu season. So it could just be me and my chemistry this time of the year. But this is not my pick.
Also, I feel that this line is really a good vein of gold to continue adding and tweaking new fragrances within this common family of scents. With more tweaking… maybe adding some cinnamon, rose oud, or coconut — you may have some more incredible scents that appeal to a larger audience.

Do the Avon scratch and sniff tests work in their catalogues? You bet they do…
I just ordered the Avon Travel Size Perfumes in this collection based on the fact that I fell in love with the smell of the original Far Away perfume that I found in the scratch and sniff test that I tried a few weeks ago.
At first, I really didn’t find the allure… but took the time to rub this on my arm.
Later that day, I couldn’t help but notice the fabulous aroma as it was gelling with my own chemistry. This was intriguing – I love this. If the original perfume is anything as special as the scratch and sniff sample was – then this will be quite a great perfume line to wear!
    ——–
Will follow up later with a longer review based on how this smells when wearing the perfumes.
The Avon Travel Sizes of Far Away – are Far Away, Far Away Gold, and Far Away Infinity. Can’t wait to try this in person – and see how this sets up with my chemistry.
    ————
    Mail Arrived!
Trying the 3 fragrances now –
Love Far Away Infinity the most – still sampling all three!

This scent is really nice, I really really enjoy it.
It’s similar to it’s older sister Far Away, but it’s a little more vanilla and less heavy white florals. Don’t get me wrong, some people might mistake one for the other if they weren’t familiar with the Far Away perfume and its flankers. I find it to be just as beautiful and powdery and sweet but it’s missing a few of the Far Away nuances that set it apart.
This perfume is just darling in the spring time but it also holds up well in the heat. I can really see this as a cold weather perfume too because of the cozy vanilla and powdery essence. It’s classy and well put together, like we all wish we could be.

I feel like a woman! This is creamy and rich, and it gives me the feeling of coziness and loveliness.I keep sniffing and I like it each time.. It has defintely vanilla but it is not sweet!! oh i love that because that gourmand cany shop sweetness blast is not my thing. I consider this Far Away Gold a classy and golden scent,. Too bad that it is not longlasting.

I’ve been wearing Far Away Gold on my left arm and Far Away (the original) on my right arm all day so I could compare them!
As soon as I sprayed Gold on I thought yep, this smells like the original. Now that I have them both on I can separate them. Gold is deeper with more amber, and less sweet since it has no coconut. Far Away is slightly sweeter and a little bit more fresh due to the coconut. They definitely smell like sisters. I’m glad I have both though. I have them as the little 15mL purse packs so they were really cheap. I think Gold lasts a little bit longer on the skin than Far Away, but performance wise there’s not much in it. Both are moderate to long lasting. And both are good as a day time winter/autumn fragrance

A lovely combination of yellow and white florals. Very pleasing. Almost leans a bit bubblegummy but not quite. The ylang ylang comes out strongly on me, as does the orange flower. Reminds me of a more subdued version of Roberto Cavalli, actually. The jasmine is creamy and the peach does not bother me for once. Very nice.

@Shellapoo, why not do a swap, put it up on Ebay or even donate it to a local shelter instead of throwing it away? Your trash may be someone else’s treasure after all! 🙂

Love it!!! Vanilla and Tropical but not for summer. Nice and warm for chilly winter days and nights. This is one that sits in a lovely cloud around you I can smell it on myself all day long. I have a coworker/friend who hates it so I can’t wear it to work or around her. I can see how this would upset the scent sensitive but I totally LOVE IT!

  17. :

I like the 3 Far aways very much ( original, Gold and especially Infinity) All 3 are exquisite on distinct ways: original, unabashed and shameless ylang/amber/ coconut bomb (though on me it is quite soft), Gold, controlled and mature vanilla with ylang and some coconut and Infinity, whispery vanilla/jasmine, sofisticated and long lasting.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

There is something about Far Away and it’s flankers that I adore. They are exotic yet comforting, enveloping you in a warm, luxurious cloud. these are syrup sweet and decadent. If you like sweet vanilla/tropical florals with warm cozy base notes you will love these. This is even warmer and richer then the original.

  19. :

    4 out of 5

This is very much like the original Far Away but more modern. It even has similar notes.
This one is heady sweet floral oriental but without that extra “zing” that original has.
I like original better just because its different from other things out there. Gold is more modern and as a result, smells like several other perfumes I smelled before. I think its quite nice actually but not sure I woud get it since I have similar fragrance in my wardrobe

Very beautiful, but heavy! I don’t wear this, this wears me! A little dab’ll do ya.

  21. :

It’s too sweet and suffocating, I don’t like it but I realise why some people love it so much. It’s a great quality perfume, almost like it’s not coming from Avon but expensive designer perfume. Great longevity and sillage. I don’t hate it, don’t get me wrong, I just don’t like vanilla that much, it suffocates me. But it’s not disgusting like Pur Blanca, it’s still wearable.

An unexpected gem! Oddly enough, this smells like Alien at first- the jasmine+amber combo is similar, and the vanilla edge reminds me of Alien Essence Absolue. The ylang peeps through, and gives Far Away Gold it’s own personality. Yet again both Gold and the Aliens share their nuclear-strength concentration. Overall, this is a slightly more floral Alien Essence Absolue with a lighter jasmine and strong, exotic ylang. I got a good deal on it, and despite being on a no-buy, I’m glad I picked it up!

  23. :

    3 out of 5

At first spritz, Far Away Gold is overwhelmingly sweet & syrupy vanilla. After it has time to settle, the more exotic coconut and ylang ylang come out to play, with just a small splash of citrus that helps tame some of that syrup. It’s thick, rich and exquisite. This fragrance goes through quite a metamorphosis – the drydown is mellow and warm, but there is the overpowering punch of sweetness you have to wait out first. I’d suggest Far Away Gold to gourmand lovers – it’s edibly sweet with an exotic punch. Very delicious!

  24. :

    4 out of 5

Well, because it doesn’t smell like glue to all of us. On me and to me it has a vanilla-y ylangy and ambery scent with peach and jasmine undertones, very classy and with good sillage and longevity. I had a beautiful vanillary scent called Revelar Noite (or so other people tell me) smell just as burnt rubber (and worse, for a long time). And Miami Glow on me and to me smells of rancid coconut and passion flower (granted , on very hot temperatures, Miami Glow tends to turn due to the heavy components).

every time I wear this my husband says I smell pretty!!! same with the original far away, gold is a softer sent great for warmer weather,it’s long lasting so the price is great.

The first time i smelled far away gold was on a lady at my church, i thought it smelled sweet and nice but not my style. It reminded me of root beer and exclamation perfume. My mom loved it and ordered some for herself, on her it smells like deep vanilla and orange flowers. Just for fun i tried it on myself and on me it smells like thick vanilla, amber and peach. After an hour it is all vanilla, amber and osmenthus. I like this perfume, not love but when I’m in the mood for something warm, cozy, sweet and heavy i spray this on. Longevity is pretty good, i can smell it in the air around me for at least 3 hours after putting it on and sillage is about an arms length. So if you like vanilla, amber, peach, sweet, deep, heavy perfumes give this one a try

  28. :

    4 out of 5

On me Far Away Gold smells very sophisticated and mature (over 25).First 5 to 10 minutes on me are confusing and too loud: ylang, freesia , orange flower fight to the death, then gradually the scent calms down to a flowery jasmine peach ensemble that gets more vanilla-y by the minute.Drydown is vanilla, jasmine and amber, delicious. It is quite long lasting but not too loud (except for the first minutes) and sillage is moderate to heavy. It also has some of the DNA of the first FA but much more subdued, it is quite sweet and can be even thought as gourmand-y because of the predominant vanilla. Great scent with excellent performance !!!!!

This opens up smelling like the original Far Away then morphs into a delicious creamy vanilla-amber scent with the tiniest hint of coconut and spiciness in the dry down. It’s really really worth it for the dry down alone. It also seems fresher somehow. Not as cloying. All negative reviews aside, try it for yourself and formulate your own opinion. As for me I smell delicious right now.
That being said I hate the bottle. I hate the sprayed on gold of the bottle. I hate the cheap tassle, it’s not as pictured above with the gold jewel thing. It would have looked better if the name was written across the neck of the bottle. The whole effect is just gaudy, but that doesn’t take away from the loveliness of the scent inside. Also I don’t think it lasts as long as the original.
Edit: I wore this to go out with my husband. He said I smelled like chocolate the whole night. This was enough to make me order two back up bottles before it gets discontinued. Also it pairs extremely well with Rihanna’s Rebelle. Just delicious!

    “Far away from my expectation”…
A very prominent combination of ylang-ylang, vanilla and amber with strong hints of jasmine. The coconut scent isn’t as strong as the others but it’s more intensive than the fruit notes. A bit powdery in its character.
If the vanilla and amber were toned down, it could have smelled better. It can be too sweet and something makes it smell a little bit artificial but it doesn’t bother me too much.
It’s almost like the perfume scent in some makeup…
I find this perfume to be special and unique yet I have scented something like it before but I can’t remember what.
This works for days or evenings and the best season to wear it would be fall (or summer nights) but I think it could work alright anytime, in smaller doses.
I don’t directly dislike it but it’s nothing I want to scent too often.

Well, this is a lovely surprise. I have not even liked many AVON perfumes (Im an ex-AVON lady!) but this one is impressive. Long lasting and with a decent sillage. It smells so decadent. Well done AVON. Lots of sweet creamy vanilla and amber that is given a bit of edge with the ylang ylang. I smell jasmine and coconut all the way through but thankfully the coconut is low key. I can also pick up some of the citrus but vanilla is most definitely dominant. I much prefer this to the original Far Away. I dont think it smells like a vanilla candle and I have many fragrant candles of various makes. I love it so much that I bought a back up bottle in case its discontinued!

I love this and for me is better than the original in totality

  33. :

I have the original Far Away, tucked away in the dark closet. I just have a hard time wearing it. I love vanilla scents, but there is some note in it that bothers me. A local antique store has a large Avon booth, where new Avon is sold, at good prices. Far Away Gold was one of them, so I spritzed Far Away on one hand, and Far Away Gold on the other. They are indeed very similar, but I think I prefer Gold.
I may end up buying this, but both versions sort of remind me of a vanilla candle, with some Arabian type spice market spices thrown in. I just can’t get past the candle, or room spray vibe this gives off. Now, I love vanilla, and one of my favorite perfumes is YSL’s Manifesto. With Manifesto though, I don’t feel like I smell like a walking candle.

  34. :

A beautifully creamy floral, with a good amount of warmth and powder.
Far more wearable than the original. Far Away Gold is a great every day scent which I personally prefer in autumm & winter months.
I think it’s been discontinued, so I plan to purchase a back up bottle.

  35. :

    4 out of 5

Far Away Gold is difficult for me to wear, because the frothy root beer vanilla drydown is very “me”, but it takes a couple hours to get there … it’s starts so obnoxiously harsh with a weird floral amber that reads matronly. bf and son think it starts nice on me … funny what appeals to different noses

  36. :

    3 out of 5

@Naureen – it’s not the fault of the low price or the spraying distance – Far Away Gold simply IS nauseating and headache-inducing!:))) While I able to wear my beloved Far Away (which is also a dangerously opulent scent) from time to time, this one I can’t stand. It holds too much of the yellow-floral component. Plus the vanilla and all the rest make it just more than enough.

  37. :

Too powdery, intoxicating & it’s making me sick. for hours it really hurt my nostril, I got so dizzy & had to use vicks inhaler to remove the horrible cloying.
Just bought & tried one spray. I’m going to get someone to try it out before I use it again. Other perfumes don’t hurt my nostril, this one did badly.
The instruction says hold the bottle 15-20cm away, i did it 5cm like i did with other perfumes. this could be the reason but i got to find out. first time buying cheaper perfume, never thought it could be this bad not following the instruction on the box.

I just got my bottle of Far Away Gold a couple of days ago and have been using it as the temperatures are steadily climbing. I thought it would be more of an autumn/winter scent but find it is quite suitable for summer evening as well as cooler daytime wear. I have owned the original Far Away (which I had to give away as it was too strong for me in summer and didn’t like it as much for winter wear) and I still have a bottle of Far Away Dreams (which is a lovely little flanker that is softer and more wearable for me than the original). So, FA Gold is my third try of this collection and I must say that I like it. I get a coconut/chocolate (ever so lightly)/exotic vibe which is quite yummy and makes it a more playful/casual/cozy/comfy scent for low-key occasions. I usually have a hard time with Avon fragrances but FA Dreams and Gold are the only two so far that I don’t mind wearing for casual everyday wear.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

On the scented page it smelled almost like chocolate but unfortunately the real perfume was too sharp on me. I don’t know which note gives that alcohol-like scent. It could be just my body chemistry. I tried to wear it for a couple of months, but no, I can’t bear that sharpness.
On the bright side the staying power is magnificent for the price and the bottle looks glamorous.

  40. :

    4 out of 5

Because I like Far Away, and I like just about anything with vanilla and coconut in it, I thought I’d try Far Away Gold. It definately smells different to the original Far Away, and has more of a punch and good staying power. Spray it on 15 minutes before leaving home.

  41. :

    4 out of 5

I don’t know why or how, but I smell patchouli in this one. Gold is like a tad fresher, lighter version of Far Away, but not to be taken lightly. It’s rather a more flowery, exotic version of Far Away, creamy and summery, and that’s why I indeed tend to confuse it’s name constantly with that of “Far Away Exotic”.
Ylang Ylang is pretty detectable, but vanilla is somehow toned down here. Amber and peach is also evident.
In the winter, Far Away Gold smells rather a bit sharper -albeit still pleasant- but the season for it I believe is summer.
Whereas I wouldn’t wear 5 sprays of the original (formula) Far Away to work, I believe it’s safe with Gold. Not because it’s a watery frag or something but because it’s less complex and kinda softer than her “mother” and tend to stick (to the air/clothes/skin etc) less.
I actually have a back-up bottle and (if you like it) recommend the same; since limited editions as such disappear in rather a short time.

  45. :

Far Away Gold and the original Far Away are atypical Avon fragrances. They are my two favorite Avon fragrances of all time. Both center on a vanilla sweetness. Both are pleasant and gentle.
I think the reviewer who thinks that Far Away Gold smells like patchouli may be detecting amber, not patchouli. Please don’t expect patchouli from Far Away Gold. You will be disappointed.
This fragrance is all about vanilla, fruits, coconut, ylang-ylang, and sunlit jasmine. It smells exotic, fresh, and almost edible. It’s like a day at the beach drinking tropical cocktails with little paper umbrellas in the glass.

  46. :

I received this as a gift. When I first sniffed the top of the bottle, My take was PATCHOULI. I only sprayed the smallest amount on my arm because I was afraid of being overwhelmed by the PATCHOULI. It mellowed out pretty fast. Six hours later, I have the powdery, spicy vanilla everyone is describing. I will definitely try again because this one changes (drastically) for the good.

    Similar to the classic version!
Far away from the Gold got for Valentine’s Day, and we expect that the smell will be similar to the classic far away, who for many years has been my signature scent. Do not be mistaken, the smell is similar, but lacks this field, which is characterized by the classic version, it is smooth and subtle, sweeter. I think part of the reason is simpler compared to the previous version.
I like very much, but still prefer the classic stronger far away. Gold Edition may appeal to people who intrigued far away, but it was for them a little too heavy.
Bottle would look better, the whole effect is spoiled by shoddy black lettering on the inside.
Durability is satisfactory (min. 5 hours)
I do not buy this version again, because I love the classic installment far away, and I do not need two similar odors.

Second review – after nearly a month this is really growing on me. It’s a nice vanilla oriental fragrance with great sillage, but the longevity could be improved. Now I can really sense the coconut. 7 out of 10.

Came across an Avon catalog in a pizza shop and bought a bunch of things (who knew they sold placemats?!) Tried the scratch and sniff and ended buying this for $12 and I am very glad I did. I smell creamy, yummy vanilla and some kind of sweetness (something baked like?) all day. It smells expensive, I got complemented on it the first day I wore it and could still smell it in bed that night. For $12!! The bottle shape with the tassel is nice though I’m not really a gold person. I recommend this and I’m reading up on other Avon perfumes.

It’s been a while since I smelled original Far Away, but to me, it does smell similar to the original, but I pick up the ylang more. It smells like a cross between original Far Away and Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Ylang and Vanille. Definitely one of the best Avons I’ve tried!

  51. :

    3 out of 5

I don’t like, nor hate this perfume. The notes are too synthetic for my taste. The ylang-ylang is very loud and the perfume is a sillage monster – a single spray radiates within 6 feet. The scent is suitable for fall. I don’t know why there’s no golden jewel on my bottle, like ilustrated in the picture.

Its a softer version of normal Far Away!
    Love it! <3

  55. :

A ‘dressed up’ version of the original, Far Away Gold is soft, less boisterous. I get the feeling that this would have been Avon’s reformulation of the original if they’d done one. I’m glad they hadn’t and we have a choice.
I see myself getting more Gold before they discontinue it.

I smelled a sample of this a while back and surprisingly liked it. I’m normally not a huge fan of really powdery scents but this one pulls it off quite well. I love the vanillia ambery smell. It’s very warm and comforting. A very good scent for winter and it lasts quite a long time on me too!

Initial blast starts of rather pine like and reminds me of Avons skin so soft bath oil – but once it wears down it forms a jasmine/amber/vanilla bomb which is not as overwhelming as the original which I cannot wear myself as the coconut and orchid are so overpowering on my chemistry. There are hints of Dior Addict in here and a touch of Hypnotic Poison which come and go and I get a whiff of sugar cookies not unlike Shalimar minus the incense and tobacco notes – this is actually a very well blended scent and I am glad I tried it – I have a purse spray and when I first sprayed it onto the box I was repulsed by the SSS bath oil note and didn’t want to try it on for fear of offending others – Edit – I am less than a quarter through my purse spray and I am over this already it’s just too sweet vanilla creamy for my taste unfortunately could do with some patchouli/incense to bulk it up a bit in my opinion.

Seems like a fall fragrance. I might smell like a cookie.

Heavy jasmine and ylang – ylang, lots of mouthwatering coconut. Something also smells like honeysuckle. It’s a “golden” perfume indeed, it feels luscious and full. It’s exotic and tropical.
It’s too flowery for me to wear and enjoy, so I’ll stick with Far away exotic from the Far Away series.

To sum it up: Vanilla with hints of floral. I will totally repurchase!

I tried this fragrance from a card sample given to me by my Avon lady. It is just enough fragrance to swipe on your wrist; those adorable little glass sample vials are getting harder to come by! Fortunately, a swipe on the wrist is enough for this fragrance. Far Away Gold is very similar to the original Far Away; and by that I mean, it’s like eating a sugar cookie by candlelight. It’s sweet and rich, with the perfect balance of floral and vanilla, loaded with amber to smooth over all of the edges.
Far Away Gold is nearly identical to the original, but if pressed I would say it is smoother and a bit lighter or more subtle. It still has good longevity and solid sillage, but it is not the mad sillage monster that the original is; nor is it quite as long lasting. I don’t know if I’m influenced by other reviews, by the Avon description or by the “Gold” name, but it does seem a tad higher quality in ingredients and blending; that and the subtlety makes for possibly a more wearable scent, especially for those who found the original too brash. I don’t smell much coconut at all in the original; it only became apparent to me once I was aware of the specific notes. I think Gold has even less coconut than the original, and possibly more amber and less vanilla.
Far Away Gold reminded me of how much I really like the original Far Away; I’m not persuaded I need a new bottle, I just need to pull out the old one more often. For those who don’t own the original, give this one a shot. Especially for fans of Casmir or Hanae Mori or other vanilla-centric florientals, I highly recommend either Far Away Gold or the original Far Away. Don’t dismiss Avon–this is a gorgeous long lasting scent.

A tribute to 20 years of Far Away, this has the coconut and vanilla like the original Far Away, but minus the ‘powder’.

I hate the original version. This one is very similar but I quite like it. I guess the note which irritates me it gone 🙂 IMO Far Away Gold smells more sophisticated and richer.

    My huuuuuuuuge disappointment!:(
Far Away Gold is nothing else but Far Away deprived of its beautiful, sweet white floral notes which are replaced by more irritating yellow floral and eventually complemented by hideous amber. If there was anything in Far Away that irritated me a little at times, this is multiplied at least by 5 and perfectly displayed in Far Away Gold. For some, however, this might bring on the opposite result – maybe Gold will be much more interesting and wearable for you?… 🙂

Far Away Gold smells very similar to the original. I haven’t smelled them side by side, but the similarity is very obvious. If you have one, you wouldn’t necessarily need both. This is a very, very powdery perfume. I smell vanilla, some florals, possibly a hint of coconut, and heaps of powder. If you don’t love powder, you may want to stay away. This is a warm, dry scent, so it seems perfect for cooler fall weather. Wearing this in warm weather may get too cloying. I find this scent surprisingly both strong and long lasting. I sprayed one tiny spray of this about 5 hours ago and it hasn’t faded on me at all. Worn lightly, I like this very much. It’s warm and inviting, and feels cozy.

I tested 4 fragrances: this, EnJoy by Jean Patou, Hypnose Senses, and John Varvatos. Avon Far Away Gold was one of the first 2 I applied. I waited about 30 minutes before applying the other two. It has now been an hour and a half and this one is the only one that still has some gumption. The rest are quieted down to close skin scents. Go Avon!

To my nose this is like vanilla pudding made with coconut milk, garnished with white flowers, somebody nearby is eating a juicy peach. It’s not SWEET like there’s sugar so it’s a diet pudding. If I didn’t look at the notes I’d think there was some buttery tuberose, maybe it’s the ylang ylang? Definitely resembles the original Far Away but
