In the game of spices, hot resins and precious wood, the composition of Harrods Agarwood highlights accords of nutmeg, black tea, saffron and violet, with dark and sensual notes of agarwood, sandalwood, labdanum and amber. The composition is deepened with notes of patchouli and the unique effect of suede lingering on the skin.

Yesss!! When i say oud i mean this! Very middle eastern and resinous. It is a very dark lush expensive oud scent. Not for the faint hearted, be ready to turn heads. I do get saffron a little but and patchouli also some tea but oh the oud! I remember when i would go to middle eastern weddings when i was a child and there would always be that lady that is classy and has gone far in her carreer and life and smells like it. She would spend a fortune for her oud wood incense and would spend about half an hour burninf that oud and layering her fragrance, this smells like that lady. It would be amazing if it was layers with oud oil or oud insence for like a very special night when you want people to notice you. warning: if you prefer your perfume sweet and floral and close of the skin, run far far away from this. I was lucky that i found a bottle with 70% off on harrods website for boxing day and bought it blindly. Oh im so glad i did.

I go this on ebay auction for a good price. For me it is nothing special because this scent is what we usually get from the local makers in the Middle East. As for the smell I really get the oud and tea. I can tell you the quailty of the oud is excellent and I guess that explains the price tag. I find the perfume suitable for women more than men because there is something sweet about it that I didnt like. I heard some reviews talking about plastic smell. I’m not getting it and I dont know what they are talking about !!
Upate: June 16. I’m addicted to this fragrance and it keeps growing on me day by day. It stays around me all day. Im in love !!

This one has taken time to grow on me. Quite demanding oud, resinous and strong on a very dry patchouli note. Black tea is prominent, so is the nutmeg. It lasts forever and goes “under the skin” for days after just one spray.
A very dark scent, not one for a hot summer day. What I particularly like is that it doesn´t turn sweet at any time in the drydown. Reminds me slightly of that pure, moldy patchouli oil that hippies used to wear in the 70-ies, only far more sofisticated. The musty aspect may turn some people off, myself included, but I´m getting to enjoy just that more and more. One wrote barnyard here, ok, but not like some skanky ouds, this is a lot “cleaner”.
And yes, it DOES numb the sense of smell!
Very dry and musty, but a gem for lovers of dark and sinister frags.
    8/10

One of the most amazing fragrances I’ve ever smelled. Dark, brooding, sensual, and stunning. Masterful composition.

Sublime. I could smell this all day, and would, were it not so eye-wateringly expensive. This is a super dense, chewy, almost syrupy oud due to the amber in the base. It doesn’t have any of that medicinal quality you might find in, say, a Montale. And as to be expected of an EDP with a prominent oud note, the longevity is ridiculous; easily two, maybe three days on your skin if you choose not to shower (gross). If you are a fan of the note, I HIGHLY recommend you hunt down a sample. I think Bond as a house is a little overrated, but they really knocked this one out of the park.

Picture M7 with a slightly more dark side.

This is my favourite of all time. On me it smells cool, fresh, expensive and sophisticated. To be worn with a suit. The oud note smells cleaner and fresher than the likes of Tom Ford Oud Wood. This lasts for a very long time. Go easy. My partner can smell this on me in the morning after I’ve showered. Just sublime.

Evil-dark, smokey oud, blackened and striking
WOW. This fragrance embraces the darkest feeling in an oud, even compared to Kilians Oud’s. I feel very grateful and lucky enough to receive this as a gift, and when I put it on I feel like it takes away a part of me, like a slow poison.. but after 5 minutes it hides in your skin as a bold, smokey-resin scent that’s soft in texture, and warm. You have to appreciate Oud’s for what they are and try it ON, so don’t bother if you’re just going to smell the bottle’s atomizer and make an opinion.
A real wicked one from Bond, definitely one to save up for and wear at anytime and any season in the evening.. to embrace the shade and shadow of this fragrance.

This is a heavy hitter. gatorNY is right on–wet wood and tea, but I would add, with the slightest touch of violet. I too am intrigued by oud and have several examples. I agree this if the best. Definately not for casual us.

Someone asked me to compare it to the Harrods Oud Pacthouli, and my instant response was less FLORAL, more ANIMAL. I get an instant zesty opening.. maybe the tea and then wet wood with the most feral notes…this is the most dangerous, risky part and may turn some people off. After a while, that aspect fades into an exquisite smokey oud…that is somehow very dressy and formal, yet also comfortable like a flannel shirt and a fire in a cabin in the woods. It’s easily my favorite of ALL the OUD offerings…and between me and my husband, we have TF Oud Wood, Acqua di Parma’s Oud, Le Labo Oud 27, NY OUD, Harrods OUD (HSLE), Harrods Oud Patchouli and Signature. So hot and sexy…I really need a cold shower after spraying this on!
