I’m so happy to have this little beauty!! I’m also so sad that it’s discontinued and very hard to find because unfortunately, this is such a perfect casual-sexy perfume featuring one of my absolute favorite notes (tiare) and I say unfortunately because I only have a very small bottle and have to treasure what I have, rather than wearing it frequently, which is what I’d love to do. This is so well blended that it’s really hard for me to pick apart the notes, but I definitely get tiare on top of a smooth base of vanilla and amber. There is a soft spice to it (I’m assuming that’s the chili, although it’s a lot softer than I expected, I would’ve guessed it was black pepper but I love it) that gives it some kick. I won’t say it’s my favorite perfume ever, but it’s very pretty and I do wish I had more bottles. Bonus: it lasts ALL day long, and my skin eats perfume. Even Angel and Shalimar are gone after 8 hours max on me, but this is going strong 12 hours plus and still has great sillage. Impressive!

This is a very pretty perfume that my older girl friend let me borrow. I loved it and I think she forgot about it and I asked her if she didn’t want it anymore and said I could keep it LOL This is a beautiful floral amber scent. It’s like a little Russian peasant girl in a little apron picking flowers in a field. It’s so beautiful. It opens with paprika if you like paprika it’s here. There’s also a little citrus like orange juice courtesy of mandarin. There’s ginger, possibly some cinnamon or cardamom. The spiciness begins to appear after the citrus wears off. Not too spicy but spicy nonetheless. The real attraction for me is the absolutely gorgeous white floral Tiare gardenia smell. It’s my favorite flower the Tiare flower. It’s tropical and very rich creamy and almost like a tuberose. O my God. The tiare is the dominant note and I would go as far as to say this is the best Tiare flower perfume I have ever smelled. The base notes are amber and vanilla. Long lasting and fragrant, mature but girly at the same time. I love to wear this when I perform in evening gowns as a chanteuse. This is sooooo good. Mmm.

Discontinued…too bad, such a pity! Luckily I stll have two bottles. It is such a treasure! Starts fresh and a bit harsh but very quickly turns deep: tiara and datura flower (not listed here but listed on other fragrance sites and on the packaging). Then ginger comes into play, spicy, flirty and just a tiny bit sweet ( paprika, vanilla?). Enourmous longevity and good sillage. Dark, mysterious fragrance, colour purple….good for night wear.

Fragrance Review For Nikita by Slava Zaitsev
Top Notes: Mandarin orange, ginger paprika
    Middle nots: Tiare
Base notes: Sandalwood, amber, musk vanilla.
This wears nothing like Maroussia and it feels like Maroussia’s kid sister. Sweet, floral, vanilla. Beautiful. It’s fresh citrus and sweet ginger, paprika and delicious vanilla. On a spring day the scents come out and leave behind a sweet cloud of perfume. It’s the kind of fresh short lived citric opening I like. For the most part it’s a white floral scent of tiare flower, plumeria or a gardenia. The dry down is vanilla but there is just enough amber and sandalwood to keep it long lasting and fragrant. It’s a bit like shampoo sometimes but I don’t mind that. It matches up with some plumeria scented body lotions I have. Absolutely beautiful and sweet innocent spring time fragrance for feminine girls who want to smell like tiare flowers.

One word to describe this scent: UNIQUE. It is very boozy (it smells quite like sweet liquor), masculine, spicy, hot but icy (because of the paprika) at the same time as soon as you spray it.
Then it settles to a nice creamy and femmine scent. Lots of soapy tiaré, vanilla, amber and sandalwood.
I bought a 30ml bottle for 6 Euros, a bargain! And the scent itself is way more expensive-smelling than a lot of other compositions. It is very sophisticated, femmine, elegant and not mainstream at all.
Comparing it to Maroussia (a personal favourite of mine) it smells less retro and less dramatic, not animalic at all, but both scents are very femmine, classic and soapy.
The purple box and bottle are gorgeous. Both are very similar to the Maroussia ones, but the bottle of this perfume is covered in violet thin glitter and the writing on the bottle is different from the one in the picture. It is purple and the letters are smaller and rounder.
I love this scent. I hope I can try all scents from Slava Zaitsev if they are so good.

I really adore Maroussia (red) bottle. I would really love to try this one.
Does anybody know where I can purchase this fragrance in the U.S.A.? It has so manly notes that I love in it. I will be so curious about it, until I find it.

Anyone know where I can buy this?

Another beauty from Russia – sweet and spicy, based on unusual combination of tiare and paprika with vanilla, its very pre-Christmasy to me, when all best things are still ahead – Christmas tree and bright paper of the presents, sledges and simmering pot of mulled wine afterwards in big company of friends. Happiness is only real when shared.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review on my favourite fragrance yet! After many years of trying Maroussia, her big sister, I could not wear her anywear near me. This is why her little sister surprised me even more (‘is this from the same house??’). Bought it for 5 euro’s in The Netherlands, so if it would go wrong, I wouldn’t regret it at all. The only thing I regret now, is not buying a whole tray of it.
Everything Nikita is about, I love and adore. It’s warm, slightly herbal, sweet and the price for the quality is insane. The vanilla is on top, but in a little spicy way thanks to the paprika and ginger. The Tiare flower gives the floral touch. The best winter fragrance I’ve come across. The sillage is huge, but around me she is soft and creamy. The closer to me, the more spicy and ‘alive’ she becomes. Wears up to a full day on my skin, a record!
Sadly, it now has been discontinued. But, this is the first bottle I’ve bought a back up of yesterday. It was the last one in the store sadly enough. Winter won’t be complete without Nikita around with her warm aroma any more.

Wow, just received it from ebay…it’s amazing!!! First of all, I also found some similarities with Crystal noir, but there’s something more! On my skin, the mandarin-orange note is very noticeable at the beginning, and then I can smell the note of tiare and vanilla, but also the datura! This isn’t listed here, but it’s present in the fragrance’s composition (I read it on the perfume’s box!). So it’s a dark, warm, oriental floral fragrance; the base note is very ambery, powdery, long lasting, perfect for winter. I’m so happy I’ve discovered this beauty (I’ve bought it out of Italy, you can’t find it anywhere here 🙁 ), but I wish I have taken a larger bottle 🙂

I got this parfum today and payed 3,95 Euro for 30 ml.
My first impression was very positive, I find this perfume very similar to Versace Crystal Noir. A warm, winter fragerance for me. Also i thought there would be some coconut notes in this perfume, it smelled a little bit like it, I find.

A blind buy, don’t like it very much, the scent is just not the one for me.
    I like Maroussia more.

Bought a miniature of both Maroussia and Nikita on the same day due to them being on sale. Knew about Maroussia it was a much appreciated fragrance, but Nikita was a guess.
Upon wearing it for the first time, the first thing striking me is the very strong presence of tiare flower and not much else. You’d almost need to sit over at more than an arm’s length to appreciate it as it is on the brink of being annoying.
I can’t notice the paprika powder note but the presence of sandalwood and vanilla is quite obvious.
All in all, it’s a nice fragrance but I’m more impressed by Maroussia.
Well over 6 hours after first application the scent is still very noticeable, actually so much so it becomes cloying and I’d almost want to wash it off: clearly a case of ‘less = more’. While I can apply most fragrances twice or 3 times in the same day to notice its evolution from top to base, this now can’t be done unless you want to mix up the notes or feel overexposed.
A full 10 hours into the drydown, vanilla is the most persistent note of them all.

For people in the Netherlands, Wibra is now selling it, €5 for 30 ml.

I like Nikita, but only after wearing it for a while.
I really like the smell from the beginning, but I always tend to get horrible headaches when perfumes are harsh in being floral, and this is the case with Nikita in top and heart. When reaching the base, it’s more of a vanilla with a very soft floral scent, which makes my headache fade. At this point, I really start to enjoy Nikita. Lovely fragrance, just annoying that I always get a headache from flowers.

Finally, after months of searching, I have my bottle of Nikita. And I am ecstatic. It’s this warm, floriental vanilla wonderland. It’s like my favorite blanket. I am head over heels, and now dreading hotter weather–because it’s strong. Sillage is excellent, it has now lasted 8+ hours, and it’s beautiful. So worth the wait.

We know “Authentic Maroussia” (green bottle) – And “Maroussia” (red bottle). Both very pleasant and recognizable. (especially the Authentic).
Now, I am introduced to “Nikita” and hear it’s similar to Crystal Noir by Versace. So, high hopes!! But, imagine my disappointment when I finally smelled it and recognized it as the exact copy of what my “Dove Silk Glow Shower Cream” smells like. It is now forever associated to me with Dove soap. Not bad, but not what I expected this perfume to smell like either.
So, without further ado, smell the Dove Soap and you know what Nikita smells like. I have Crystal Noir by Versace and to my nose, it smells not even remotely the same.
Shame, but since I paid a bargain price for 30ML I won’t lose sleep over it. I’ll just use it before bed to compliment my Dove ; )

and oh yes, it’s too bad that when you get the gift box, you don’t get the original zaitsev trademark bottle…:(

The tones remind of B.U. Black Diamonds, and possibly a little of Gabriela Sabbatini too, although it’s been too long since I’ve smelled that. So, the scent itself is nothing new. The composition reminds me of the one from Moments by Priscilla Presley, it starts of mysterious then has a fresh heart and then comes together. Well, moments did/does, Nikita doesn’t, everything abruptly stops and you have a soft, but musky end smell. The dry down as someone said earlier is okay, nothing special though, it really reminds of B.U. Black diamonds or slightly Perspective woman by MEXX. Even though I don’t like musk in perfumes, I still wanted to give this a try. So I’m keeping it. Good for when you go out for a party, just wait 5 more minutes before you go outside, cause the musk can be a nose full at first use. The fragrance, bottle and presentation are exactly what they should be, kinda like moschino, no big surprises, very direct. I got the gift package, unintentionally, and the body lotion is a pleasant suprise, cause you don’t smell the musk so much!

I bought the EDT on ebay from the Netherlands and I find it disgusting. Smells like cheap departmentstore fragrance and makes me a headache. Not at all to compare to Maroussia.

I´m in love with this perfume. So special, it is like “Crystal Noir” but it is elegant! I feel coconut, a comfortable vanilla. I can´t live withou it!!

For all you people going nuts to have this one (like I was) and you just don’t seem to be able to get it, it really has a lot in common with amor amor tentation!

I got today my cute little bottle of NIKITA and i m blown right away yet by the first sniff. awesome spicy and fruity, never smellt something like that, so dark, so mysterious, so feminin and sexy! wow! have to try this tomorrow on my skin! review following.
how to find? indeed not an easy to do mission. for me it was a lucky punch on a french trading site from a privat person.
guess in france it’s availe in many stores. but in internet quite difficult at least!
add note: quite unsatisfied about the drydown… 🙁 not than remarkable than the opening hmmm and staying power is weaker than expected. 🙁
this sits unfortunately really too close on skin 🙁 it would be so beautiful if it was a little stronger… maybe should layer it by applying twice.
i’m tendig to buy amor amor tentation instead…..

I’m trying Nikita for the first time today, I bought it unsniffed and so far I’m enjoying it… the first notes are spicy and then it’s all about the tiare flower, a very strong note blended with amber and vanilla.
I can’t barely smell the musk or the sandalwood!
If you love tiare flower and want a strong scent of it for Winter (and not that tipycal exotic and tropical scent of tiare that is used in Summer), you must try it!
For now is a strong, heavy scent with a fantastic sillage and lasting (I’m wearing it since noon – 12.pm)and I already received a compliment from my bestfriend!
I’m realy enjoying this one… now it will have to pass the boyfriend’s oppinion!=)

Oh, people. I bought this one today after a quick sniff. Try this, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. The vanilla and amber come out so wonderfully in this. I also smell the paprika, which is an exhilarating touch in this. Lovely, lovely lovely. And like Maroussia, this scent does follow you, despite being soft. Use with moderation!
    Edit :
It’s been five hours now, and it has dried down to a nice vanilla with amber. Very, very good.
I’ve gotten a few PMs about where I’ve purchased this. If you live in Europe and the Dutch store chain ‘Kruidvat’ exists in your country (I think it is limited to the BENELUX, sadly enough), you should be able to find it there for a mere €15.
