Description

Guerlain Homme Intense (Eau de Parfum Intense) appears on the market as an improved, deeper and more sensual version of the last year’s Guerlain Homme edition, created by the perfumers Thierry Wasser and Sylvaine Delacourte.

The composition of the more intensive Guerlain seducer is also blended by the principle of dualism – human and animalistic, emphasizing at the top notes green aromas of mint, rhubarb leaf and narcotic rum. The heart of the fragrance is a floral bouquet of geranium, wrapped up in the woody base of patchouli, cedar and vetiver.

The bottle of Guerlain Homme Intense carries the same modern form as the previous one, made by Pininfarine out of metal and glass. The new edition is formed out of dark – grey glass and dark – grey metal plate, pointing out the more intensive and stronger aromas. It is expected to be available for sale from September 2009 as 50 and 80 ml EDP.

This perfume is brilliant. I didn’t buy it the first time I came across it. I had only put a spray on the back of my hand and had left without buying it. On my way back, this perfume grew on me. And it just got better and better as it dried down. Came back again to buy it.
Beastly performance and an amazing complement getter. Very manly.
I think it will always be in my collection.

They say that people can remember things best through scents and this is true. That’s why I pick up a new fragrance every time I go to a trip. When I smell versace eros i’m in Rome… by smelling Givenchy blue label I’m in London again and so on… I wore this beauty in Amsterdam..now everytime i smell it I feel completely free… it isn’t a uniqe scent but very pleasant….a strange generic if you like it. If it fits your skin, you will love it. For me… it’s the scent of freedom…of course it’s an individual impression. Here’s my advice…whenever you travel pick up a new scent…and after that, that scent will bring you the best memories.
This scent is so lovely….what more can I say about it…. give it a go.

I am 25 and this is not dated at all
This is modern, classic and pleases others
This is grown up,classy and should not be worn casually without a nice outfit.
This is likely not to appeal to the JPG ultra male or PR one million crowd
This is dense, full and complex, green, boozy, some woodyness, and maybe some earthiness, yet still has a aromatic feel overall
    Masterpiece

I have the old version since 2 weeks.
I’m not getting any Mojito vibe in this one, like I get from L’eau Boisee. Nor is it intense. Find it to be quite disappointing compared to the other 3 Guerlains that I bought recently.
So are the Habit Rouge EDT and Habit Rouge L’Eau far stronger in terms of longevity and projection.
It has been fairly hot since I got it. So far I find this one to be quite timid. Kind of shy, skin scent for my weak nose.
It’s a pity because the scent itself is nice, maybe even kind of chic.
I guess for those people who have no issues with weaker parfumes, like for example most of the Guccis I know, this could work out very well.
Maybe my appreciation will change with time.
And maybe the new version is really intense. I hope so, since that one is more expensive.

The spearhead of the guerlain homme line. Very green, the opening is very generic but then you feel all its quality. mojito, cane sugar, rhubarb, lime and very sweet vetiver, ideal for summer evenings. moderate stillage and does not last long to be an EDP. I have the bottle with black glass, it should be the second version. By any chance can someone tell me if the one with the steel front, the first version, is different from mine?
    Rating 8.0

This was my scent for “best”, but now, it’s lost it’s allure for me, especially with the ramped up prices.
Some people say there’s been a reformulation. If that’s the case, Guerlain can stick it.
They were a classy company, but now, everything seems as if it’s about margins, and they make their cost cutting very obvious.
Putting virtually everything in similar bottles is a massive own goal.
Even the very poorest Arabic companies put Greedy Guerlain to shame with their bottles and longevity.
Anyway, there’s plenty of good stuff out there.

I got this one for 30 $ / 50 ml discounted. I only had from this homme series the boise version which I didnt like so much. It was too pencil shaving smelling for me.
But the homme intense version was pleasant. Fully fledged refreshing citrus-green-woody that is mature with a playful twist. Real EDP concentration that lingers around for decent time.

    Sentence Summary:
This is lovely. I get the Mojito vibe of the original plus a good amount of rhubarb. This is still fresh, but lasts longer than the clear bottled version. I don’t get as much Rum as others mention. Starts fresh and then dries down similar to Rochas Homme to my nose, a kind of froth off coffee with fresh mint. I really like this. Lasts longer than the original, but still not long enough.
Overall rating 9/10 (Nearly deducted a point for the sprayer though)

One of my favorite fragrances !
What do you get ? A sophisticated, understated, yet complex boozy fragrance with some modern greenness. This is certainly alluring and could be seductive. 25 to 40 age group here and more of a night time fragrance IMO.
You get the rum, mojito lime smell, you get tonka, you get smooth honey blended in. Resinous wood and vetiver give the scent a back bone and masculinity.
The mojito lime is bright and invigorating (Although slightly sharp) and lasts for 30 minutes to a hour or so on the top before it settles down. Now the well blended rum is more balanced with the mojito and beautiful. As this dance progresses the resinous wood joins and eventually the vetiver , all in harmony and all on time.
One of the best fragrances in my collection and I will cherish it in the original dark glass bottle. love, love, love.

Mojito in a bottle! Great summer fragrance by Thierry Wasser, minty and boozy with good longevity and projection, very seductive and a complement getter. Feels a little different than other Guerlains but great in its own way!

This is the kind of scent that on the opening is very powderry, but then it dries down to be a very sophisticated citurssy perfume. This is very fitting on a dressed up formal occasion at night. A very elegant masterpiece from guerlain!

WEaring this frag for the first time today!!
It smells like old spice to me for most of the time!! just after few sprays rum and mint notes were dominating but later after 20 mins or so spice started coming out ..
It has very low projection on me..Asked my wife and she didn’t even feel i was wearing any fragrance..
Its best to be wear at work where you are not a boss but a junior or mid level person.. Because of its after shave kinda freshness its gives a sense of naive.
Its a good summer fragrance than winter even after it has winter notes like spice and rum in it..
Another occasion it can be wore is if you are going for brunch on sunny day in summer. you dont want to dominate your fragrance but smell good and fresh..
    Definitely a morning fragrance.
Not long lasting i think its been not more than an hour and its started fading out already..
FYI,My body temperature is normally higher side and its snowing here

EDT at best nowhere near EDP. (ridiculous) clearly mislabeled or production error.
Bought a tester for 40.00 and I am kinda annoyed because it is not worth that. The worst performance of anything I have ever tried. 3.5 hours and its 100% completely gone no skin scent at all. The first fragrance that I can def. see needing multiple bottles.
The opening is great and that last bout a half hour which is really nice. The heart reminds me very closely of Prada Luna carbon which is also about a half hour. after that it is the faintest of skin scents only good for close intimate encounters after which it completely disappears around 3.5 hours. For me, I mostly get minty, rhubarb in the opening with floral notes in the middle and a light vetiver vibe throughout. The base notes are hard to pick out with skin scent dry down being so faint, its barely discernible.Practically non existent dry down it might as well not have one listed. I mean should I really require my nose to touch my arm so I can smell the dry down?
totally worth it for first hour as long as you keep applying and have a case of this stuff.

I recently blind bought this fragrance in the new bottle/packaging along with Guerlain Ideal EDT, Gucci PH2, Bentley Absolute and Burberry Brit Rhythm Intense. It is my least favourite of the bunch. It’s not a bad fragrance by any means but, in my opinion, it’s a bit.. well.. meh. Far too understated for my liking. A bit boring if I’m to be honest. I could certainly live without it. There’s also something in the dry down that doesn’t agree with me. Something slightly off-putting. Colin Maillard describes this fragrance as being “deceptively generic”, so perhaps there’s an aspect to it that I’ve yet to realise and appreciate. But, for now, it’ll be joining my Gucci Guilty and Gucci by Gucci Sport on the shelf of seldom used frags.

I’m wearing this right now. All i can say is that Guerlain Homme Intense is a very very nice fragrance. it is warm yet refreshing. very versatile. would suit pretty much all situations and all seasons. Guerlain Homme Intense can be worn in cooler months due to it’s warmth. But is also perfect for summer due to it’s freshness. But although it lasts long on the skin. it only projects for about 30 mins. 1 hours if you’re lucky. too bad because it smells beautuful.
    scent 10/10
    sillage 7/10
    projection 4/10
longevity 9/10. as mostly a skin scent.
this is my perception of this delicious fragrance.
over all score 7/10. it looses 3 points due to less than average projection.
i will buy another bottle if they don’t reformulate it or water it down.

  23. :

invigorating opening very fresh slap of citrus & mint. then it settles to rum and woodsy notes then you’ll get the vetiver in the dry down. this is one of the most versatile fragrances, it fits almost every situation, solid fragrance that i’ll keep getting it after finishing every bottle, I tried the other flankers but this one is the best, it is worth every penny.

over rated, after all the reviews I was
expecting something very special, it is a young people perfume, not very masculine.

  27. :

Amazing fragrances! Less formal than I thought
got a decant and I was in hurry to spray it in the best
    weather conditions (hot spring/summer days).
It start with a blast of minty rum lime and mojito smell. Then, rhubarb make it a little bit fruity and the vetiver with the hint of cedar give a masculine edge.
Great for casual and formal event at day and night, I do not recommend for office for some reason (ahah). Maybe too strong for a main casual scent, I would go for the original or L’eau boisée for this purpose.
Great longevity 8+ hrs and nice projection.
compliment getter, expensive and smell expensive
it lost point on versatility factor
    So 8/10,

This thing is growing on me more and more. Its such a giving fragrance.
I blind bought this having smelled the EDT version. At first I thought, Oh my god the mintiness and greenes is killing me. It smelled versy synthetic and chemical at the beginning. But after a while I started to get this sweetness, this woodiness which at the beginning was so overpowered by the strong mint/green punch. This honestly is such a well blended fragrance, it keeps surprising you and everytime you wear it, it throws something new at you. For the spring/summer season, this is a 10/10 from me

  29. :

This wonderful juice begins with a vibrant green vetiver garnished with mint and other green notes that I can’t pick out.
After about 20-30 minutes, the green aromatic character of the fragrance gives way to a powdery gentle rum toned down by the mojito notes.
Unfortunately for me, the fragrance doesn’t have much longevity beyond 2 hours and the sillage fades into a skin scent.
Too bad for me, I really really enjoyed the short adventure this unique fragrance introduced. If nothing else, I’m sure you will too!

  30. :

    Masculinity In A Bottle.
Starts off with a fresh blast of Lime, Mint and Vetiver. Slowly the lime fades out leaving the mint and vetiver as the alcohol notes come into play. This is where this fragrance shines, has almost a new car leather vibe to me. A very dry scent, almost powdery, not very sweet but extremely masculine. Highly would recommend this.

I can only enjoy this fragrance on test strips as the vetiver makes it smell too powdery on my skin.

@jettison> sure, you can revisit and review the scent as often as you can, but just make sure you wash your nose well before posting here again, as I don’t want to hear again about your not getting the notes right. “ZERO rum notes. that’s a myth” huh? Use Domestos please…

  34. :

The very scent that sparked my adventure on Guerlain-land.. Very nice scent… might be a little bit heavy (nice heavy, that is) to some nose; but for me, it is just perfect. Silage and longevity are rather average for an EDP; I got probably 3-4 hours max before it became skin scent. Over all, a very nice buy. 8/10

  35. :

They’ve standardized this line using the same bottle design, and suddenly I’m not as interested. Is that weird of me? I was kinda digging the older formulation design I guess.

  36. :

    4 out of 5

I had high expectations after reading most of the reviews here, I do own l’eau and l’eau boisée and I absolutely adore them. They smell so natural and high class. Maybe because they toned down the mojito effect with the new reformulation, on my skin I get only powder, I did expect at least to have a great drydown, but no, after an hour I didn’t smell anything, very disappointing…

  37. :

    3 out of 5

    I love the scent.
    I love the price.
    I hate the performance.
For an EDP I only get 3-5 hours at best, then I have to re-apply… That’s not good, but the scent is so great I’ll definitely keep wearing it.

  38. :

    4 out of 5

    (New bottle design/formulation)
I can drink Guerlain Homme EDP. It smells like a nice mojito drink which is what it’s trying to be and does so very successfully.
Very nice scent as expected from Guerlain. It opens minty fresh with some rum and some lime,as it dries down you start to get more rhubarb fruity/floral vibe and some vetiver.
Think fruity scent but the color is green. For me the scent is very unique, and has good lasting power at between 8-10 hours.
The scent is not a heavy projection scent but rather lingers on the skin, so when the body heats up a little of it come off.
I could easily smell it on myself for the first 6 hours, after that it plays hide and seek, showing itself when you least expect it.
What i like best is the fact that it is playful yet has a mature sophisticated feel. I would say anyone age 20 and up can wear this. GH can be worn any season although best for spring and summer. can be dressed down or up so very versatile.
I am surprised this does not get the recognition it deserves, while other colognes which are nowhere near as good get a lot of attention.
This is one you have to use for 1-2 weeks straight to totally understand, one of those scents the more you wear the more you like leaving you addicted to the smell.
This will be in my collection for a very long time, and i have been through 5 bottles of this in the EDT strength which is now discontinued.
EDP is the next closest thing which i’m happy with although the opening lime note in the EDT is nicer in comparison to the EDP, the dry down of the EDP is stronger and more complex so it’s a fair trade off for me.
    Scent 9/10

A very pleasant and well blended green-woody scent by Guerlain ! Opens up
really fresh with mint and then rum comes up to soften it and keep it warm till its transformed into woody in the dry down by the vetiver and cedar, but still remaining fresh, clean and floral ! Thumbs up

  41. :

Very nice mint opening, and it gets even better as the rhum note makes way. This combination bears an elegant yet playful vibe. The floral drydown is excellent, although by the time it comes out, the scent tends to be sitting close to the skin.
It’s not a groundbreaking fragrance by any means, but it still is a welcome addition to any wardrobe
    7.5/10

I got a 100 ml of new bottled version of this. Compared to my previous bottle they definitely toned down the mojito effect, scent became much more versatile and pleasing for me. Longevity is great, more than 12 hours on my skin, first 2-4 hours with enough sillage. Previuos version was a 9/10 for me, this one deserves 9.5/10.

  43. :

    3 out of 5

3 years ago, i got sample of this juice and i remember loved it, elegant rhum – woody combination with the Mojito vibe in the background. Recently i bought the full bottle (2015 batch) and i can tell that Guerlain has messed this up..still like it ,but now it smells more powdery, and they toned down mojito, which made this fragrance unique..the older version lasted 6-8 hours on my skin, but the newer just do 4 hours (30 minutes projects and then becomes skin scent), ..it’s amazing how reformulation could ruin the masterpiece 🙁
    6.5/10..
After months , i changed my mind a little bit..it’s still intense..and not as weak as i thought, it grows on me…but still i miss those mojitos. The drydown is very similar to Dior Eau Sauvage Extreme (.. turns out they share several notes )

GHI is extremely refreshing & uplifting with its beautiful combination of crispy smelling herbs, freshly crushed mint leaves & the brilliant mojito vibe. Despite its not being a groundbreaking composition or a niche masterpiece, it succeeds in feeling quite distinct with its cold herbal freshness and its kind of metallic & scratchy at first but classy & elegant at drydown, boozy-vetiver accord.
A great choice for literally any occasion, any mood, any climate.
    8/10
(Honestly, I do not like comparing fragrances since I truly believe that this should be left to the experts. Nor do I enjoy being malicious in any way but considering my amateur perception of the presentation, the quality, the performance and of course the price of this scent on one hand, and many expensive offerings I have tried from renowned niche houses like for example Creed, on the other, I am baffled).

Guerlain Homme Intense is an incredible beauty of exquisite green herbaceous mint with boosting of boozy notes of mojito along with rum notes that lead to forms a sweetness cubefresh scent that created from lime splash. The booziness here is so masculine and seductive but so fresh. Its not like a fragnance that had whiskey notes which usually so sweet and gourmand, it was feel like fresh elegant rather than bubble gum. You can wear this in summer day but not cloying at all. There’s no doubt this is could be your choice to date with someone you love without worries to get a horrible smell.it is perfect by all mean, wonderful for all occassion, and great for all situation.

Wow, I love this fragrance, is a unique and a master piece by Mr Wasser. Projection is strong for 3-4 hours, the sillage its good and longeivity is 8+. For me its a solid 9/10 its a well blended fragrance.

Ahh mojito…no one does it better. I absolutely love this scent and it’s a huge compliment getter. A classic from Guerlain that works for any occasion any day. The performance is excellent and I get a good 8 hours from it. If you’ve never tried a Guerlain frag I would start with this one. I can’t recommend this enough!

  52. :

excellent scent by guerlain unlike l” homme ideale this one has a real class and smell neat and nice!
Marvellous scent, one of my all time favourites.

  53. :

    4 out of 5

Guerlain Homme Intense is a wonderful boozy fresh scent. The dominant note is an exquisite herbaceous mint which recalls the freshness of a cocktail or herb garden, rather than a cheap household cleaner. The mint note forms a key part of the mojito accord, along with rum, lime and a splash of sweetness, reminiscent of a muddled sugar cube. The booziness here is fresh, rather than liquor-drenched. I don’t pick up any rhubarb, but there is a touch of woody vetiver and a pleasant powderiness that helps GHI feel elegant rather than sharp, as the notes might suggest. There’s no doubt this is a Guerlain.
I haven’t tried the original, but if GHI is anything to go by, it’s a great scent. Longevity is average for an EDP but projection is good for the first few hours. It’s a clean, uplifting fragrance that would work just as well at the office as it would as a casual weekend scent for the spring or summer.
If you like Cartier’s Roadster but find the mint-vanilla contrast a little off-putting, give this a try. GHI is a more cohesive, balanced and nuanced scent.
The packaging is excellent. I have a recent 50ml bottle which comes in dark glass, rather than the earlier metal-plated flacon. If you like the Pininfarina design, be sure to pick up a bottle soon – it’s being phased out in favour of the tall Habit Rouge/Vetiver bottle.

GHI is way more pleasing, wearable and modern then older Guerlain men’s fragrances also GHI is the SAFEST Guerlain men’s perfume, nothing generic or boring just so smooth, sexy, fresh and clean scent, it is also extremely versatile and long lasting, 10 hours easily with gentle glow in the end also what I love about it, that it smells beautiful from the opening to the end and does not change on my skin. Bravo Mr. Wasser!!!

  58. :

Very distinctive and classy. Green and grassy and woody , elevated and slightly sweetened by mint and rhubarb in the most refined way. The mint is truly green and damp and aromatic – no sugary sweet mint like you would find in Versace Eros ( a scent I happen to like, for what it is …). The vetiver is something else – acrid, pungent smoky grey bitterness.
Deliberately understated but a deceptive presence – it’s there more than you think – !
Mature, as others have said . Really would work at the office I think – fits lots of situations though . Formal and clean casual.
This one really grew on me.

One of the perfumes that got me into the Guerlain craze and fragrance collection in general.
    This is simply amazing.
Yes, it is a fresh fragrance, but this is not your typical generic fresh fragrance, this spells distinguished, sexy, mature…’cool’, so to speak.
lemon-mint all the way with a hint of rhubarb in the heart and adequately faint cedar in the drydown, great performance on my skin with good sillage.
Marvellous scent, one of my all time favourites.

This is simply the best blind buy i made until now. The reviews worked for me. It’s a very classy, elegant and laid back perfume. I find it quite soft, very aromatic and green. In the opening you can feel a smell of freshly cut grass, but that goes away quite fast. I don’t detect much mint, just a hint of it. Generally I think it’s very well blended as I cannot really separate the notes. It works like a whole for me.
It’s gonna be amazing for spring and summer afternoons, predominantly special occasions. I imagine this as a wonderful scent to take with you while travelling in the Greek Islands, visiting places by night. I think it would work great for day too, but it’s not a very casual fragrance.
You could say that it fits the more mature crowd, but i can easily imagine the 20+ wearing this, if they want to appear confident, elegant and sexy.
As for projection, until now it seem to be below average. I don’t have many expectations from longevity, since everybody generally complains about it. However, the scent is heavenly. 9/10
EDIT: Skin longevity is about 7-8 hours in total. There’s decent projection in the first two. Even though i barely bought one bottle, This is the first time i feel like i want to buy more and more just in case apocalypse comes

I really want to love this one, but I’ll get to that…
First off, this smells of excellence. It has a rich, smooth, velvety texture as it enters your nose. It’s deep, with lime, lots of green, and woody base. This scent is the definition of classy. This is one of my favorite things I have ever smelled, fragrance or otherwise, ever. You can wear this one dressed down, but the smell makes you envision a classic suit and tie – suave and elegant.
Now for my hatred of this masterpiece.
For an EDP concentration, this is utter rubbish. I was expecting in the ballpark of 8hrs with this one. NOPE, NADDA, ZILCH! 3hrs, maybe 4 tops. Sillage is weak too, after the first 30 minutes you’ve gotta be right on top of this to catch a whiff. What a let down. I’ve got aftershave that lasts better than this. Not most, but every EDT I have out performs this.
If this performed how it should at the EDP concentration, it would easily be my new favorite scent of all time. However, no matter how magnificent I find it to be, I’m horribly angry every time wear it.

This would be a perfect signature scent for any guy. It’s not flashy, it doesn’t scream out, it’s not super sexy. It’s just a high quality, excellent frag. Highly recommended.

Heaven in a bottle. Very nice blended scent with a cozy opening which IMHO is very synthetic. After that, the drydown develops in a spectacular way, I detect much Rum, Geranium and undertones of mint. In the base notes, the vetiver stands out and feeling a bit of woody notes. The Perfume does not last so long in hot summer days, sillage is very ok in the first few hours, after that it dries to the skin and fades out. Longevity ~ 8 hours in summer and 12 in colder days with projection to an arms length in the first few hours. It is a nice casual scent which goes well with almost every occasion, from a date in the city to a wedding or other formal events. Recommended for mature people and it definetely worth evey dollar. I would rate this scent a 10 out of 10. I’d say that it is one of the best mainstream fresh boozy scents you could buy out there, easily a blind buy.

I would like to re-review this scent as in my previous review I commented on the lacking performance. The original review was written in the summer – warm weather, longevity was poor.
    Now for the HOWEVER…….
Now that I am wearing this fragrance in cooler conditions, performance is so much better. Eight hours is now achievable, compared to two in the heat. I have found a new love in this scent and thoroughly enjoy wearing it in the newly-upon-us autumnal weather. The combination of mint, rum and vetiver is extremely pleasant for me and, so it seems, others around!
So I won’t delete my original review as I will probably have to leave it alone again when the warmer months beckon. But here’s to the next 6/7/8+ months (it is England) of enjoyment!

I really like this but it smells too similar to Guerlain L’Homme L’Eau Boisée for my liking.
UPDATE: 2 hours later the scent is GONE!! What the heck? L’Eau Boisée lasts all day for me, so far I’m very disappointed in this EDP.
Update 10/16/2015: The dry down is different from ‘Eau Boisée. I sprayed 4 of each on my arms and yes a few hours later the ‘Eau Boisée is going strong. I prefer ‘Eau Boisée by far!

My favorite in the line after Guerlain Homme L’Eau, this Parfum is more viscous and substantial than any other version of Guerlain Homme. It opens with an almost-oily combination of mint and rum which smells very fresh and natural and surprisingly smooth. With Homme and Homme L’Eau there is a bit of a synthetic edge to the fragrance, but I don’t find that the case with Homme Intense. The rhubarb note in effect creates a darker backdrop–a solid heart accord merging freshness with lower, fruity tones serving as a bridge to the rum and mint. The rum is unapologetic and immediately apparent when the perfume is applied, but it never dominates or gets out of control, so I wouldn’t say this is a “boozy” fragrance first and foremost, though it has a boozy element. Finally, Homme Intense without a doubt has the best dry down of the entire series. While most in the Homme line sort of vanishes into a clean, though ethereal white musk, or Boisee into its solid and crisp vetiver (which is very good), Intense becomes warm and rich in the base, with deep wood notes blending with an amber-like accord, providing a kind of oriental finish to this fresh, aromatic scent. Think Guerlain Homme but darker, richer and more luxurious, and longer lasting with greater complexity. The rhubarb note accented by florals creates a deep, aromatic quality, while the mint breathes freshness in the top, and the rum creates something of a viscous sheen throughout. As the dark woody notes emerge and pair with amber, the fragrance comes to a satisfying and appropriate conclusion.
Projection is on the stronger side of moderate and longevity is between 8 and 10 hours. Feel ranges from casual to semi-formal and seems appropriate for almost any situation or age.
Thumbs up and now available for a very reasonable price. Recommended.
It’s also worth noting that the Guerlain Homme line is quickly becoming extinct. Already Homme L’Eau and the original, Homme, have been discontinued. If you enjoy Intense, it may be wise to pick up a bottle while you can.

A minty rum fragrance fused with vetiver makes this my ultimate night time fragrance for the summer nights, though it can be worn during the day as well. Lasts a good 10+ hours on my skin with decent sillage.
    Another Guerlain masterpiece !

I don’t know why I always steered away from this one. A Guerlain fan like myself and in love with Guerlain Homme, I never decided to try the intense one. When I finally decided to try it, the tester was already empty but I managed to squirt just a little bit of juice out of the bottle.
For me… It is too similar to Guerlain homme. A little “Darker”? Idk but it’s DNA is absolutely there. And the scent is wonderful. You can’t expect that the liquid contained in that black bottle and labeled intense is a fresh, summery, minty fragrance. I can detect the rum and a bit dose of vetiver.
