Description

After the successful signature perfume launched in 2009, Kim Kardashian presents her new fragrance named Gold in 2011. Gold is a luxurious, rich and opulent fragrance highlighted by the tagline that claims it to “Transcend Ordinary”.

Gold is a luxury that stands the test of time, a universal symbol of sophistication and glamour. Like a stunning piece of precious jewelry, Gold lends everyday style a surge of seductive sparkle and timeless beaut.”, says Kim.

The fragrant composition of Gold, intended for hot summer, begins with a rich burst of bergamot, grapefruit and pink pepper. The heart includes a floral bouquet of jasmine, tender rose and dewy violet. The addictive base blends patchouli, sandalwood, amber and creamy benzoin, all wrapped in an elegant and warm veil of musk.

The bottle and the box retain the original form, emphasizing deep golden tones combined with black. The fragrance is available as Eau de Parfum in bottles of 50ml and 100 ml.

To me it smells very citrus heavy which gives it a masculine feel. Smells vaguely like CK Euphoria and I also sense a little generic feel of either Betsy Johnson and/or Avon far away infinity. It’s got that chemical feel to it, it feels very synthetic but still pleasant. Definitely an evening fragrance because I enjoy classifying fragrances by season and situation.

I wore this yesterday for the first time. This perfume is interesting! It smells really pretty when I was sniffing my arm. But then I would be not paying attention to it and doing other things… And I would smell a men’s cologne. then I would sniff my arm and it smelled pretty. Then later not paying attention again, I smelled men’s cologne. I don’t know what this perfume is doing… But it’s definitely pretty, and interesting. LOL

MmMm! This smells soo good! Oriental Lovers dream! Also a little unisex tangy dark and sexy. I wish she would revamp this to where it lasts long. I have to spray 10 sprays or more to get longevity. It lasts 2 hours on my clothes. I’m going to get the lotion next hopefully it will hold. I’ve been wearing it with victoria’s secret amber romance. Love this xo

Another example of why a perfume should not necessarily be judged by just sniffing the nozzle/sprayer. This was a blind buy for me and when I took it out of the package and sniffed the sprayer, I thought, oh boy..too masculine for me (and I am a girl who will happily wear a men’s fragrance now and then). But I spritzed a couple of spritzes on my forearm and my initial thought was, this definitely has an 80’s smell for me. I actually kind of like it, but I tend to like/love 80’s smells. Definitely a unisex type scent. A warmth and yet also a sunniness peaks through (I guess it gets that sunny vibe from the bergamot).
Note-wise, I pick up the amber, the bergamot, the benzoin, and sort of a white musk. The patchouli is also definitely detectable on my skin/to my nose, but it is not too heavy on the patchouli, it just gives this an earthiness. I pick up the pepper note, as well. The sunny note I pick up that peeks through I think is the bergamot, for sure, which also kind of lends a wee bit of a clean scent. Surprisingly for me, though the grapefruit is voted the strongest note, I do not pick up a specific grapefruit scent about this at all.
I am taken a little bit by surprise by this one. I kind of wish I had gotten a larger bottle, but where I ordered this one from only had the small 1 ounce bottle. But I kind of dig this…the 80’s smell, the sunny warmth yet the clean-ness, the slight unisex scent…this one is one of my more successful blind buys, and I think is a keeper, in my book, even if ‘just for now’. 🙂

To my nose, Gold is more “sweet” than “spicy”. So it is considered more “feminine” than “masculine”!?!?. However, I can still see that some men may pull it off successfully as an unisex fragrance, depends on the chemistry.
I did not get a blast of grapefruit. I got fresh and very gentle bergamot from the opening (the very note that makes most perfume a unisex one, I think), and then it quickly turned into a bundle of joy with fruity/citrusy/floral spicy sweetness at the same time, like a good “cocktail”. Lastly, the wood and amber base showed up and nicely warmed up the whole composition (I am SUPER picky with fragrance that has strong amber as it does not work on me most of the time, if it is not incorporated in a certain ratio. Amber in Gold, however is a LOVE for me. I am extremely surprised and pleased). There was no turning back for me now. I was already cozily wrapped up in this surrounding comforting scent.
Third time is a charm! I have to admit that I enjoy KK fragrances a lot, as this is the third perfume that I love from her line. Happy purchase for sure!

I’m not sure how this Kim K Gold landed on my radar, but I’m glad it did. I kept going back and forth on the reviews here on Fragrantica and YouTube. I finally pulled the trigger and I blind bought a 1oz bottle for $8.
I know Gold is listed as an “Oriental Floral” but this is a Fruity-Floriental for me. Better yet, during the drydown, I find Gold to be an entirely unisex fruity floral. Truly, one of the first unisex fruity-florals that I’ve ever encountered.
The top fruit notes of “bright sweet fruits” truly last around a long time. The opening was like Tropical flavored Life Savers – there was pineapple, mango, and maybe a cream soda flavor. In addition to the melange of fruity nuances, Gold also opens with a very tame powder facet. Trust me when I say the powdery accord is tame, because powdery accords get on my nerves quickly.
Finally, the tropical tinged fruits make way for a fresh spicy, sweet musky, and blonde-woody base that tangle with tame clean-florals that I can truly describe as “sexy.” Sexy is not a word I use regularly to describe a fragrance, cuz it’s overused, misused, and rather vague. Saying something is sexy is so subjective. With that in mind, I will go out on a limb and say that I find KKGold to be “oh so sexy!”
The reason why I find Gold to be unisex is, because it is not hyper-sweet, hyper-fruity, or hyper-floral-y. The drydown is absolutely unisex; the drydown is something along the lines of YSL L’Homme or its flankers. It doesn’t smell like those fragrances, but it’s in the same “realm” with it’s fresh spiciness and woods.

in the opening this was a sweet, fruity vanillic scent; as it dried down, the florals became present in the middle; in the base it is about the amber, benzoin, musk and patch; in a way this reminds me of Guerlain Shalimar Souffle Intense

    Absolutely divine
The lasting power is 10 hours
    The silage is amazing
    A gem!

    as a crazy benzoin fan
    this perfume is fantastic !
this indeed resembles Glow After Dark
but GAD is more sourly fruity and sticky
this one is lighter and airy
but still has a good longivity
    grapefruit is very dominant
    also benzoin and patchouli,
no amber notes for my nose
and a bit unisex for sure
actually this reminds me of “laura biagotti for men”
    more than GAD
the same citrusy benzoin woody scent
    Glad I bought it

I agree 100% with @Sammi_co review now that I think about it does smell like “lavender scented carpet deodorizer” LOL AND after its been vacuumed. Oily & powdery. This is fall winter perfume. Don’t use it in Summer else it can be loud now that I think of it

  11. :

I dislike the other self-named KKW fragrances, as they’re both harsh on tuberose and gardenia notes. Whilst I can’t say that I really enjoy this softer edition, I will say that I don’t actively dislike the Gold edition – it has a bit more depth compared to the others, and is more original.
I think Gold leans a bit on the masculine side and there is just something about grapefruit being combined with pepper and patchouli turning bitter and almost acidic on me. This means that the florals remain undistinctive on me, and the sweeter notes don’t develop fully on me either.
I also can’t believe that Gold is intended for ‘hot summer’?! The patchouli is strong and makes the fragrance too warm for me to want to use it in warm and bright weather. The staying power and throw are both impressive for a perfume that can be bought for under £10 though – I even could smell it after washing a tee that had some on.

This is actually a really beautiful perfume.
It has a really masculine vibe to it but it is very wearable
This is very warm, citrusy, sultry and unisex all at the same time.

” Gold is a luxury that stands the test of time, a universal symbol of sophistication and glamour. Like a stunning piece of precious jewelry, Gold lends everyday style a surge of seductive sparkle and timeless beauty.” Really? I had quite high hopes for this one, it being an oriental floral. Bummer. It is a typical eau de celeb: too harsh and too sweet. Headache-inducing. Luckily I have only a 10ml bottle….

I just got my bottle from ebay. Waiting for it to “dry down”, but so far it has a very manly scent, could totally be unisex. Probably because of the woodsy spicy notes. Right now it smells like I have been making out with a man and his cologne rubbed off on me! lol. Being single, I would not want to go out with this on, because I may give off a scent that I have been around a man and am not available! lol I don’t want to be doing that when I am “looking!” 😉

I’m very rarely a blind-buyer, but I just blind bought this as I am IN LOVE with her original, and after that one I had such high hopes! This was a bit of a let down for me. I’m still trying to understand this scent; I definitely get the grapefruit, the pepper, and then the amber + woods, but it just kinda smells really indistinct and certainly not a stand out to me.
The Gold shower gel is lovely and fresh, moisturiser is good too. I guess I like this, but it’s nothing special. Theres something about it that also reminds me of the Glade wax melts called Cashmere Woods. So maybe ill use this as a linen spray or wear it to bed.

Thank you for the tip off @corkscrewcurly. Argos still have it for sale so I bought one and indeed it is a gift set with lotion and shower gel, what a bargain! Absolutely love this, it’s a gorgeous rich, warm Perfume, I like it better than her original. Perfect for upcoming Autumn.
Update: Had this 2 days now and my goodness it’s glorious!!! What a gorgeous perfume, it’s going right up there on my favourites list, well done Kim Kardashian.. whoever you are xx

I thought I was buying 100ml from the Argos outlet on eBay for £11.99 (free P&P) but a huge box arrived containing body lotion and body wash as well!
UK buyers take note – if you love this, check eBay Argos outlet.
Shame I don’t like it – oh well, first blind buy that’s gone wrong in a while…
ETA I sprayed once in the crook of my right elbow about 7 hours ago. When I decided I didn’t like it, I washed it off. It’s STILL going strong. Kudos to the manufacturer, but…
Will someone please explain why perfumes I don’t like have such remarkable staying power????
ETA I gave this to my daughter (I sprayed a little on her wrist to try it, without mentioning the name of it); she loved it but admitted she probably wouldn’t have if she’d known under whose name it was released… When someone complimented her on her perfume and asked what she was wearing she replied that she couldn’t remember because she was too embarrassed to admit it was KK.

Very nice surprise as I didn’t expect much from this and I only bought it as it was on sale. Perfect blend of citrus and honey creates perfect combination of creaminess and freshness at the same time. Sillage and longevity are moderate but for the price you pay that is expected. Finnished my 30 ml bottle and now on a hunt for the new one!

  19. :

    4 out of 5

I bought this as a blind buy as I love the first Kim Kardashian scent. Whilst I like the smell of this I don’t want to actually wear the scent. The bergamot scent really dominates, overpowering the floral notes and makes me feel like I am wearing oranges. The body wash is great and I reckon the scent would be delectable in a candle or shampoo.

This smells like something I have smelled before but I can’t for the life of me think of what. ( UPDATE: reminds me of Adrienne Vittadini) I get quite a bit of citrus and patchouli, those are the strongest notes for me, I get some musk and a tad of sandal, the amber isn’t really as prominent as I hoped but it’s there. I don’t get the masculine vibe but I love masculine women’s scents and my version of masculine is pretty darn manly lol all in all I think this is nice , the silage is pretty close to the skin and I’ll have to see how longevity is but it looks like Kim Gold, while not a love, is a definite like

Man… this is great. I’m really surprised it isn’t more popular! From the reviews I’ve read, the lack of marketing/commercials, & the fact this is ALWAYS on clearance, I’d say it’s her least popular fragrance. That surprises me. I am also surprised by the perfumes it’s compared to here… not seeing the similarities at all. Now, for the record, I am not a Kim Kardashian fan AT ALL but her perfumes have suckered me over to the dark side. lol
This fragrance reminds me a lot of Chanel Chance and a little of Coco Noir. Perhaps a cross between the two? Take a comparative peek at the notes and you’ll understand why. It has the Pink pepper/Jasmine/musk/grapefruit/patchouli combo of Chance, And the deep, Balsalmic Rose and heavy patchouli of Coco Noir. Imho, Gold is BETTER than either of those though. Infact, Gold is what I had hoped Chance or Coco Noir would be. (I’m a huge Chanel fan so this is very tough to admit.)
I can see where some people might be picking up a hint of masculinity but it’s honestly not like it’s “too much.” This would have been more aptly titled “KK Noir” than Gold in my opinion. Because it does have that darkness that I think some are construing as masculine. The patch, woods, pepper, benzoin & dark rose does give it that heavy, intense, and what I would call, Dark vibe. Grapefruit can also lend that sense of masculinity to some noses.
I can’t believe I am saying this but I am totally impressed by Kim Kardashians fragrance line. It’s awesome! I think KK is one of the best celebrity perfume lines available today. I wish that she would focus on profiting off her actual talents like this versus selling herself, sex appeal, and nonsense but I digress. I’ve been told once I smell wonderful, and asked twice what fragrance I am wearing while sporting Gold. I was almost embarrassed to say it aloud lol. But it seems that men really like it a lot. I get a similarly freakish occurance of compliments on her original self titled Tuberose/Gardenia bomb fragrance.

This reminds me of that lavender scented carpet powder my mum used to put on the floor before vacuuming. I know that sounds insulting but I don’t mind it. I don’t necessarily like it either. I have to say though that jlo’s glow after dark is a boozy patchouli bomb that is great value. Smells gorgeous and lasts. This is NOTHING like it. I’m very surprised to see them being compared.

  23. :

    5 out of 5

I really really like it but it doesn’t smell like ‘gold’ to me. Nor was it as masculine as I expected. It draws it’s masculinity from overtones of BATH & BODY WORKS men’s lotion I had called DARK AMBER. but hat’s where the masculinity ends. It is a powdery amber with bergamot and papaya pink pepoer. I am also getting a papaya note not listed. Also a little goes a long way so one or two spray is enough. Its not an overwhelming or sickly fragrance at all or when over sprayed. It just has a rich in your face accord.

LOOOVVVE at FIRST SPRAY!!! I’m really happy with this! I wore it to the office (work) and it lasted all day. I love the initial spray all the way to the dry down. It’s a nice relaxing and comfy (like I’m at home on the couch reading my fave book) feeling!
I never in a million years thought I try a Kim Kardashian fragrance BUT upon sampling in Perfumania her original fragrance and this Gold one, I was really impressed! I have the 1 ounce right now, but I will definitely buy this again and hopefully in the big bottle and I already recommended to one of my perfume collector friends who’s just like me 🙂
I’ve read about her True Reflection scent, I would really like to smell that one too OR I may just blind buy it based on the reviews I read and the experience I have with this perfume 🙂

This grapefruit with bergamot hh god help me i cant stand this combination ,i thought its not that bad but i was wrong ! The bottle its nothing special at all like the others her perfumes ,the longevity its maybe 2/3 hours !Nothing gold ! I highly not recommend !

I like this fruity-floral scent. This one has a little masculine drydown. Normaly I don´t like that, but it actually works well with my bodychemistry. I think it works very well as a fall/winter parfume, and as an evening scent.
The lasting power is about 3-4 hours.
I´m not a Kim K fan, but she do know how to make a parfume, that smells quite nice. Well done, Kim K.

I don’t care for citrus dominant scents and gold was citrusy in the opening but in it’s own special way.not a fresh, sour, zesty citrus.it’s creamy- citrusy.a sweet grapefruit with a hint of spicy bergamot,I don’t know what made me give it more time.I can’t smell florals as individual notes here.warm, balmy benzoin, powdery amber, creamy woods and moldy patchouli which blended very well with spicy citrus(I feel also something fruity but I can’t put my finger on a specific fruit, maybe apple and some berries )I really want to know whether I’m too much in love with celeb scents or they’re far more better than what most of us expect.to be honest KK gold is interesting, not what I’d like a lot but many people seem to consider it a sexy scent.it smells very different with my other perfumes and that was the reason I bought it butwhen it dried down to a gorgeous powdery scent I started to like it more
KK gold is balmy, likable and opulent but with a fresh twist.for me it was very difficult to guess it’s notes before checking it’s pyramid.I could only say it’s a blend of exotic fruits and creamy woods but after checking it’s notes I csn see traces of most of them but they’re all melted in each other. It’s a fragrance for grown-ups.not a childish one by no ways.there’s something slightly masculine here but it doesn’t smell manly by any means.there’s something classic though it’s a very modern scent.it IS intresting
Thanks goodness I can’t get much patchouli here,I can feel it there but it doesn’t bother me.this is a mild weather perfume,to be more specific a fall perfume(also good for last summer days, cool summer nights or end of winter)I don’t think it’s a good idea to wear it in hot summer days
Longevity is moderate but sillage is heavy during first hour, then calms down to a warm, rounded scent with moderate sillage, final drydown is soft and powdery.it’s a versatile scent and even wearable for school and university but it’s better suited for evening wear,it’s a successful buy and I’m happy I tried it and gave it time.
BTW k.k gold’s bottle isn’t golden as in picture.it’s black with golden text and spray and black cap.it’s scent doesn’t make me think of the color gold at all
    ❤❤❤
    Edit:
What it smells like from distance is way better than closely smelling it so what wafts around you is nicer than what you smell while wrist sniffing.when I sniff it closely from my skin, mix of moldy, humid patchouli, balmy notes and grapefruit has a weird, syntethic undertone and makes me think of a melted candle but what radiates is beautiful, even kind of fresh

On first sniff, I fell in love. Here was a rich floral bouquet with depth. The amber smells so regal and delicious. It was warm, gorgeous and absolutely captivating. I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist and my mom laughed and asked me to go back and pick it up from the store.
I, however got distracted by something else and I’m glad I did. Half an hour to forty minutes later, all I got was powder. My regal amber floral bouquet had disappeared and in its place was powder. Sweet baby powder.
I’m not saying it’s a bad fragrance, it’s just not for me.

  30. :

    4 out of 5

Gold! A fitting name, because the luscious peppered grapefruit sweetness conjures up that color sense. Amber is another goldeny smell, and makes this fragrance delicious.
I loved this when I tried it the first time, but I don’t think it’s really summery-at least not in my triple-digit neck of the city. Even though it has a citrus opening, I personally don’t find it refreshing but I do think of it as being heavy, sweet, and decadent- more like a fall or winter treat when I want something sensual and warm. This may lean unisex, especially for men who love amber and citrus.
I will probably crave it’s richness then and reach for it more often when it gets chilly. It’s longevity is Medium- 5 hrs. This is delicious, heavy, and sweet citrus-amber goodness.

I really think this is a lovely fragrance. I bought the coffret set on Perfumania.com, which came with four of her fragrances. I was immediately smitten with her debut fragrance and this one. The dry down, however, reminds me of something I already have, which is Betsey Johnson by Betsey Johnson.
Update: longevity isn’t that great on this one.

  32. :

    3 out of 5

This is a well done scent. It has an overtness to it that screams “Celebrity”, but is well composed and has quality ingredients. I get lots of Bergamot and Grapefruit PEEL in the top. Spicy, Rosy, Pink Pepper features not just in the heart, but throughout the composition. While the Jasmine lends a gentle sweetness, and the Rose creates a nice roundness, I can’t find the Violet at all…its only contribution is a faint powdery quality. The floral heart gets mowed over and obscured by the strong base notes, which are the real stars of this show: Benzoin, Sandal, & Patchouli.
I find it interesting that this was being marketed as a “summer” fragrance. The dry citruses, maybe, but the rest of the composition plays as a unisex Amber, and one with punch, at that. This one reads autumn or winter to me.

  33. :

I received this as a gift and I was very confused at it at first. I’m not one to delve into citrus scents as they’re too heavy for my liking and headache inducing.
There isn’t much to this perfume. It’s a surprising good citrus based scent but it has nothing special to it. First spray is heavy grapefruit and bergamot I’m assuming (it’s hard to make out what notes this scent is producing). It dries down to a citrusy floral, I can only smell a hint of violet though.
On my skin this barely lasts past an hour. Which is disappointing. I don’t dislike and I’m not over the moon about it. I’m gonna leave this as a work and running errands smell.

  34. :

Fresh ambery patchouliness. This could be a unisex perfume because it smells rather masculine. It kind of reminds me of Calvin Klien Euphoria, in the sense that it’s a deep, musky, spicy oriental kind of smell. Euphoria is wayyyy better though! KKG is nice. It’s mature smelling. I like it. Lasting power could be better though…it got hard to detect after a few hours.

At first this was like/dislike but now its love! I got a bottle through a swap (which leaked so bad in the mail its empty). Luckily I just found one at Burlingtons! Love this so much! So long lasting (its been 8 hours and I still smell it!). The most prominent notes are Amber and grapefruit for me with slight patchouli.

Intense grapefruit opening with just a touch of red pepper.Beautiful and loud the Patchouli and Amber then take center stage. When this baby starts to dry down the benzoin and sandalwood seem to dance on my skin.Im not getting any of the florals and just the tiniest bit of powder.Excellent silage and longevity.Patchouli lovers rejoice!

Gold starts off like a sparkling citrus summer morning with the grapefruit and dries down to a peppery amber and sandalwood summer night. Even in the dry down the grapefruit sparkles through, a reminder of the sunshine and heat of the day.
I don’t get much floral from this perfume, but it doesn’t matter. It’s gorgeous.
Clearly, this perfume to me smells like summer. Probably a California summer, balmy, breezy, and with palm trees (and I am nowhere near California) but I’ll take what I can get. The heat only adds to this fragrance and makes it better, deeper, and richer.
I wish it lasted longer. *sigh*
On a side note: I didn’t intend to own this, but a friend bought it for me from the U.K. thinking it was KK’s Pure Honey (I have yet to find Pure Honey at retail in Canada. If anyone knows where to find it, PM me!). Regardless, what an amazing surprise Gold was!

This is a confusing scent to me. I really dislike the top notes ! Once it dries down I love it though. This lasts about 7 hours on my skin. I just don’t know why I dislike the top notes. I love the bottles though. They are very good looking. So easy to hold and look great on my shelf. The box is gold … pretty fitting for the name. Kim you need to release more summery fruity scents. This gets a 7/10 from me xo

Not sure how to feel about this one for myself. The first time I tried it, it smelled warm, glamorous, sultry, luxurious, and modern. The next time I tried actually wearing it, I got a very powdery, old-ish, heavy dry down that I didn’t like.
It opens with a very fresh, sparkling grapefruit scent. It immediately smells very sweet, and then goes into a amber/patchouli/musky warmth. Sometimes I get something similar to baby powder, and the dry down has been fairly powdery on me. I can sometimes pick up a very light floral, but not often. The grapefruit will occasionally peek through. On me, it seems very heavy, almost syrupy. I’m kind of sensitive to patchouli (since I’ve known a lot of people who overused it), but I mostly get a very strong patchouli note on me (the most prominent note to me). The sillage and longevity were strong on me and could be overpowering, and I wouldn’t recommend wearing much at one time.
When I smell it, I get the image of fancy women in glittering dresses in dim-lit casinos or nice bars, drinking champagne. On certain days I will like/love it, and then on others it’ll be too heavy and I’ll really dislike it. I think, overall, it’s really gorgeous, but maybe it just doesn’t fit me or work with my chemistry?

Smelled this recently and I must say it was very interesting. It has a fresh, peppery citrus opening and it develops into a warm amber scent. I must say this smells extremely similar to Angel Eau de Toilette on my skin, which I never liked. It’s certainly a love or hate fragrance, but it is definitely unique and I appreciate it for that reason. Could definitely be pulled off by a man, it has something masculine about it.

I once said I would never buy anything branded by this woman – but I had to have this! It is sweet, but not too sweet. Fruity and floral in a good balance and it smells warm to me. I find a lot of celebrity scents are very sweet and rather “young” for me – since turning 40 I’m moving away from overly-sweet scents and generally that means avoiding “celebrity” scents. But this had enough depth to it to be wearable for an older woman, and my husband liked it enough to insist on knowing the name of it. (I can’t compare it to any other of the KK line, as I haven’t tried any of them. I might in the future though!)

Say what you want about Kim Kardashian! However, her perfumes are really good – for the price this is a steal!!! I am very surprised that she didn’t go with the typical celebrity fruity – sugar – strawberry scent that almost all of the celebrities go with. I am surprised because she is so commercial and seem to want to sell everything from water, make up to diet pills that has her last name attached. This is a perfume that will suit a woman over 30 – someone with life experience and ambition. The smell last for about 3 – 4 hours and it is very close to the skin the final last 2 hours. You can really smell the pink peppers, amber and woody notes (??). Even if it has amber, this is very fresh smelling and up lifting. I would still use this as an ordinary day perfume because it does not project that far way. This was a great buy and I would recommend to try this one out and even give KK ´s perfume a try – you just might get surprised.

I just got this and I love it.I’m really impressed by her perfumes. She does a really good job. I would say this is a perfume for all times of the year. Its sweet but not too heavy for the summer.
Sexy and sophisticated. Glamorous. This is a perfume that tells you never judge a perfume by who makes it. I’m not the biggest fan of Kim k but you can tell she puts a lot of self effort in making her fragrances.

this one is too strong for me. All I could smell is patchouli & gave me a headache & wanted to puke. Sorry Kim, this is not for me. I ended up put in brotherhood bin. Hope someone will like it.

I purchased the Koffret Kollection which included her original, Gold, Glam & Love.
DAMN! This is one sexy perfume! Gold is very warm and sensual. It is beautiful blend of amber, benzoin, grapefruit & patchouli. I feel this is the fragrance you would wear when you are all glammed up and feeling strong, confident and want to make an impression. Lasted about 5-6 hours on my skin and sillage was very good.
Overall, a beautiful perfume! Definitely one to wear on a late night date or with your significant other. I’m very impressed with all of Kim Kardashian perfumes. I feel that Gold is the sexiest of the Koffret Kollection. Highly recommended!

Very interesting how the reviews vary on this parfum. Some people hate it, because it is too strong for them. Then there are people like me, who like it! In fact, I really like it a lot! I do not find it cheap smelling at all! I actually find it to be quite expensive smelling. I have A LOT of different perfumes, a lot of celebrity brands, and I know what some cheap smelling ones are like. This one in particular does not smell cheap to me at all. I am not a fan of strong smells that will make me sick. I am a VERY sensitive person to smells. If I do not like it, trust me, you know it. This one is good for me for some reason. It works well with my body chemistry. I am a 20 year old male, and I feel that I can definitely get away with this scent. It is definitely a masculine friendly smell. But at the same time I find it feminine friendly as well! It is pretty elegant. I would say this is meant for a fragrance lover or someone in their 20’s and above. I would not recommend this for teens and younger. It is more of a mature scent, and that is what I think a lot of the negative reviews are coming from. You have to have a taste for this perfume, and I definitely do. I was so happy because I purchased my first bottle of this at Sears for $11.25 which was such a score! I bought the biggest bottle available, 3.4oz 100ml bottle! I honestly loved it so much, that I purchased the same bottle again at another Sears location for the same price! 🙂
If you like a mature yet elegant scent, then I definitely recommend Kim Kardashian Gold for you!

I’m sorry Kim, but I am not a fan of this perfume. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rest of your perfume line, but this is the ONLY fragrance I’ve tried in my life that I had to wash off after a few minutes. I tried several days, but just want to puke whenever I try it, literally. I just can’t stand the loud, artificial grapefruit. Loud balmy, artificial grapefruit at that. It’s ok, I still will gladly repurchase all of your other fragrances 🙂
