Wore this last night got 10/10 complements from two women.
I personally like it alot its very rich smelling and exotic.
    Worth a blind buy imo..
Please please Please ONE spray ONLY… MAX TWO SPRAYS….
this can become cloying and nauseous to some women.(Because I got excited and sprayed too much after seeing the other positive reactions.,
8/10 for me. I wish the rose was more intoxication like a fresh rose. Its a bit heavy at times

This is very nice rose fragrance, and completely unisex without any doubt. When I smell it I can also find frankincense as well some reviewer mention about mint, actually it’s frankincense as when smell it, it gives you cool vibe to your nose.
There is something in background put me off but I am not sure what is it!
Overall good fragrance with moderate projection and performance. In my personal opinion it shines more on woman’s skin than on man’s skin

A very light ‘golden’ scent and i cant even smell the oud.
It is shortlived on my skin and more like a skin scent. Quite a pleasant smelling fragrance.

Some of the reviewers have awful taste no doubt. Wonderful fragrance , very masculine and long lasting.

A lovely waste of plastic and metal: Synthetic aoud note a-la montale/mancera and a synthetic sweet note that smells like a generic air freshener.
And to say the SA sprayed this by force over my Enigma of Roja Dove…
    Total scrubber.

Wearing this again after a few years of storage and forgot about it . Like wow . It’s very powerful . Floral honey leather rose woods and some leather vibe . Very alluring scent . High quality oud in this . The opening is very powerful and in your face But The Drydown is when this shows it’s magic. Be careful on the trigger this can go nuclear lol

Her yerde kendini rahatlıkla belli edecek tarzda.

    Please Help.
I just got my bottle of mancera gold intensive aoud From NOTINO. As soon as I spray it, somehow I feel it’s kind of oily. And the rose dominates very much everything. So I’m somehow skeptical about authenticity of the product, for the reasons I mentioned above. But other than that, it smells good.
    Thanks for any reply.
    Thank you.

The woods and rose and Aoud are just beautiful! And not overpowering like a lot of orientals. This is lovely.
I have 100+ niche samples for swap within Europe – get in touch! Updated spreadsheet of samples on my profile.

Received a small decant of this from a great fragrance connoisseur-Bbjr, thanks again friend! Upon receiving the sample, this stuff smells so good I decided to buy his bottle; thanks Bbjr!!!
Gold Intensitive is a great fragrance…it opens with a fresh rose with some geranium followed by some woodiness. There is a fresh aquatic aroma that envelops, hence Voyage in the name- a sea type fragrance mixed with the white musk that blends very well. As it dry’s, there is the Amber that causes everything to culminate…reminds me of Tom Ford’s Noir. I’m not sure if tobacco is in the list of notes, however there is the smell of tobacco that hovers and adds a nice touch to this aroma. Nice fragrance; will give it a few wears in the week(s)..
    Sillage is great.
Projection is ok, but the verdict’s still out…as well as longevity.
    Overall, a stunning fragrance!
    Update:
This fragrance over time changes for the better; after an hour you get a slightly different aroma, after that hour it changes again….wow!
Projection; sprayed this yesterday and I can still detect this juice today!
Sprayed this on about 5 hours ago today and its still projecting….like the energizer bunny, keeps going and going!
    Longevity, impeccable!

This is an absolute winner from Mancera. While the rose/Oud thing has seemingly been overdone, this one is another off the beaten path variation on the theme. The rose, musk, and Oud combine perfectly in my opinion. I’m picking up saffron for whatever reason but that’s just probably my defective nose. Either way, it’s a great fragrance and one I’ll be reaching for often.

Pipernigrum- this is a fantastic cologne and probably it doesn’t work with your body chemistry or either you have a really bad taste.

This really surprised me as all rose-ouds I’ve tested are rich, slightly dark and definitely to wear on autumn or winter.
This is a fresh oud! The first blast was weird and unpleasant, actually. It smelled like an insect repellent we used to spray on ourselves while being on swimming pools when I was little, it was called Autan.
About 10 minutes later it calms down and it becomes better and better, to me a little like masculine shower gel, but not like a masculine perfume. Then the rose and oud become defined and beautiful. This is definitely golden! Bright and sparkly a spring oud! I love it!

This was a blind buy based on reviews here on Fragrantica and a special buy on Beautyspin. I am thrilled with this fragrance! It is a beautifuly blended juice-soft oud and a sexy rose! If this one is typical of Mancera fragrances, there will be more in my future!
I can’t think of anyone really disliking such a pretty fragrance! When I first sprayed it-ahhh, so nice! My husband who normally ignores my fragrances (he says they all smell like soap or powder) commented on this one saying that it was very good on me-that’s epic!
Thanks to all members for their thoughtful reviews that led to my purchasing Gold Int. Aoud! It’s 4 oz. of beautiful juice!

This stuff is gorgeous! It smells just like NY Oud minus the red plum and orange zest accord. A much cheaper alternative and I really like it. The rose, oud and musk are in perfect balance. Unlike in other fragrances that feature oud, the oud in this composition is gentle and not medicinal. Gold Intensitive Aoud is a great fragrance and if you like Bond No 9’s NY Oud you won’t be dissapponted with this one.

Excellent scent by Mancera: the perfume house that recently impressed for its originality. And this perfume, together with Sand Aoud, is one of the best; powerful, recognizable, attractively unisex, bewitching….you can feel all the precious woods that give off all their aroma, guaiac firsthand …….. a drug. Try it.

Fine oud fragrance but smells too floral, rosy and feminine for me. The quality is great, as I already said about Manceras ouds – they feel super clear, aromatic and bright, fresh, airy. Can’t go wrong with Mancera, just have to find the one for you.

this is a review about the 2014 formulation of mancera purchased in dubai at blomingdale for about 140 us$ for 120ml edp
i am a mancera fan ..i find this one a bit watered down.. compared to the older manceras.. its a more rosy.. bright..crisp ..translucent..lucid.. manceras lacking the depth and intensity and velvetines and almost oilines of the older 2008 formulations..
manceras still holds its place high among the niche trend of frenchy oudy conotations..an oud that actually makes you feel serene.. and divine.. without the utter agresseviness of the sever oud harshness ..mancera plays it right.. with the fine mixture to tame oud doun.. for both the oud users and non oud users..i mean for the western noses.. who are interested in oud ..with a twist.. oud with a sophistication… oud with a story..finer oud that doesnt repeal..
every mancera takes you in a jounrney.. back in time ..or even to the future.. of oud in a happier place ..oud in a less cloying sufocating sense..yet not too modern.. that it destroy its heritage ..its just the right oud rose amber musk etc connotation.. of everlasting perfection.. of oud across nations.. across cultures.. across genders…mancera truely bridged the gap ..and surpassed so many 3 and 6 digit niche bottles.. for their quality and longevity and silage surpass many ..
the smell is unique.. royal.. crisp ..sophisticated ..and some how modern ..yet true its its past..
for some reason i am smelling alot more rose ..on this particular gold edition ..(believe it or not i am not a rose fan ) and i am still in awe and admiration of the mancera line..oud needs rose.. to be lighter.. even brighter.. and fuller.. oud on its own cant survive(for western noses) without the rosy touch ..which brings it back to life..as if rose is the yin ..the female.. moon.. energy.. and oud is the yang..the male.. positive.. sun.. energy..together they make everything in harmony…oposites attract ..and compliment one another.. just as in rose and oud they bring out the best in one another..as in the yin and yang..light and dark..
the perfume is almost a clean taif rose scent.. with a hidden touch of precious oud ..its full.. crisp..bright.. lovely.. takes you to another place and time.. fills your heart with joy..uplifts your spirits.. the kind of scent that makes you want to sing songs of joy.. its in a higher frequency ..not a dull perfume ..its a full.. almost sweet.. from the roses.. not sickly so..it is a festive perfume..you can blend it.. layer it.. use it on its own.. you can defenetly use it with bakhour.. to accentuate it.. and add depth ..not that it needs any extra help.. it is just divine on its own.. but it is a multidimensional.. scent that can be versatile…

This is one of my bedtime fragrances.
The mix between oud and rose in here is just so smooth without overpowering.
    Tender, sexy, gender-neutral, relaxing.
Longevity is about 12 hours or more.
    Rate: 9/10.

hmm got mine . it smells a little woody like a sweet woody the woods listed are true . theres an amber note in it . what i get though is a spicy dark honey aroma with woods and tiny amounts of flowers . its wearable and pleasant i feel comfortable wearing it , the oud is smooth in this not as loud as ” the aoud “

This is my first Mancera. It was a blind buy purely
based on the recommendation of Splash Fragrance,Mumbai.
I was very skeptical about Mancera until the fragrance
    was delivered.
This has turned out to be my best blind buy so far.
The bottle and the contents are very luxurious.
I find it extremely wearable. I think aoud/woody notes
are not as loud as some other rose/ouds and aoud here shines in the background, the way it should. Not very long lasting though.
(may be because of the hot Indian sun)
A friend said you smell of rose and tobacco and I don’t smoke.
Another one got just very nice woody smell and no rose.
Yet another friend said he got sort of creamy rose.
    Easily unisex.
5/5 stars for the scent and 2.5 for longevity, projection.

“Voyage en Arabie Gold Intensitive Aoud by Mancera 4.43 out of 5 based on 28 ratings and 10 user reviews”
I am not surprised to find this ratings below. Here is my personal take on this perfume.
Rose-Oud combo perfumes are all out there in the market. Sometimes I feel tired of wanting to hunt those perfumes with these compositions and I did have some of em and mind you, I am happy to sniff and wear. But late last year I came across with Mancera over ebay and found this 60ml up for bidding. I have no idea what Mancera perfumes offer but since I like the bottle and the bid is low, I took the chance to tune in and join the auction. I won, hefty $60.00 for 60ml, not much contenders, very underrated. So I waited for two weeks or so until I claimed at the post.
Since it was winter and I knew that rose/oud notes worked well at cold season, I waited until evening, until I am off from work, to test drive this one, outdoors.
Open the bottle, oops it is a turn cap, impressive. No loose parts on cap and sprayers, double impressive. Now it was time to spritz, good, it is really unused. First blast, alcohol, the usual, some citrus, a bit fresh, not sour, not bitter, just a normal citrus aroma that died in seconds.. Now unraveling slowly is rose, like a ghost, making a stealth, coming out slow, taking its time, making me mesmerized and thrilled. The mark of this beast is obvious on my skin. Rose still is manifesting, not too strong, not cloying but like a beautiful woman stripping and swaying in my brain as its beautiful scent captivating my sense of smell. It is “a rose like no other”. It is not that dirty rose, not the too light and too many mixes of notes nor the blatant/loud one. It is majesti, grand and very smooth… The madness kicks in as oud comes out like a twin to the rose, another unraveling in stealth, like a black panther lurking around a lovely teasing, swaying goddess (the rose) but waiting to devour anyone that comes near. Imagine. These two have been presented with respect. They knew their ways in creeping into my nose, skin and sense of smell. They are playing my mind and they surely will toy at yours. I would rather have this masterpiece underrated but gods can’t be caged. Because after some time, you shall witness the release of the “Kraken” in this perfume. I found other notes over dry down kicking in like amber and musk, even mint was there, mentholated this majesty, these twin of contrast. Try this on your clothes also and see after 5 hours or so, that a familiar hint of a marvelous “black” perfume can be smelled on your fabric. The beast and goddess were great smelling “stealth” by scent, monstrous sillage and longevity. Compliments, well I have em, many times when wearing this but again, depends on how your skin would blend with Mancera Voyage en Arabie Gold Intensitive Aoud.
I never regret every single spray of this masterpiece. I urged you guys, keep it underrated. I want to feel gods lurking on my sense of smell before devouring my spirit every now and then. Make me suffer and smelling like one of them gods… I want some more..

Mancera anyday over Montale in terms of Oud scents.
The price here in the Middle East (tax free of course) is comparable to/ less than Chanel and even some Estée Lauder perfumes, plus you get 120mL!
Most of Mancera is very well made and long-lasting. Amortised over 3 years of almost daily use… worth every ‘penny’, ‘halala’, ‘qirsh’ whatever currency you choose.
Plus you’re not paying for exorbitant international advertising schemes with skinny girls and bulimic boys.
Quality is in contents, not bottle design and glossy pages.

Oh, I’m talking about the VOYAGE en ARABIE Gold intensive Oudh!
    And btw, PRICE is unbelievable.

  31. :

    5 out of 5

I had abhorred Oudh for as long as I can remember: bizarre memories of mean aunts and dowagers! And affluent playboys. What didn’t help was the tsunami of ersatz Oudh products that sear the nose, cause upheavals in entrails and leave you oxygen deprived, at best. TILL I ENCOUNTERED MANCERA. And now, nothing else engages. Winter days, frosty nights, monsoon downpours or spring breezes, Mancera is with me. I am the happy owner of at least 5 Manceras and I must say the ingredients are all of the highest quality. Much as Oudh knocks you over, used with a measured hand it’s marvelous. Which is what Mancera is all about.
Regarding the notes… Citrus is negligible, rose very much there, coiled quietly to come alive by and by, woods predominant. Suhaesa is right, Mancera does not get the attention it deserves, perhaps they want to market it quietly, it’s a status thing etc. here in USA no hope of getting it, but Selfridges in London will deliver, I think, and they have the entire line. In my opinion, it’s the best Oudh on the market, Montale coming in second, and lacking the collosal longevity of Mancera. Omg, once Golden Oudh has rested for a while, it begins it’s magic, releasing those hidden florals mentioned in the notes list, creating that rarest of balances that noses endeavor to pursue.
A big thank you to Fragrantica and it’s reviewers. I have bought my favorites blind but based on these reviews and my own gut feeling. So far, success!

I have a love hate relationship with this fragrance, this is exactly how I feel about it: I LOVE IT! I HATE IT! I’M OVER IT! I LOVE IT!
The beginning of it just kills me, it remind me straight up of a dental office or a hospital, through that hospital smell I can smell a really nice rose, so think of a dental office with a vase of beautiful roses standing in a room.
About an hour later it begins to smell very beautiful, like a very expensive rose, it’s very gentle and it’s the same kind of rose smell that Roses Vanille has except there is no sweetness of vanilla.
Everyone raves about it’s longevity, but on my it’s about 2-3 hours, but I haven’t ever tried a perfume that stayed longer than that on my skin, and I’ve tried many many Niche brands, it’s just my skin.

i am a fan of all the mancera line.. when it comes to oud based perfumes made out side the middle east or the far east , i think they(mancera) have got it right…very fine.. very sophisticated ..not vulgar in any way ..extremely sultry.. and velvety.. very full.. round.. full bodied ..perfect for winter ..the oud and rose complement each other in unimaginable ways ..its as close as you can get to authentic oud and taif rose authentic oil Arabian elixirs from Riyadh the heart of Arabia ..where the queens and princes all smell like this.. with the addition of saffron and musk and ambars and cambodian ouds..
i dont think mancera got the popularity it deserves ..for me the juice is just perfect.. and is actually reasonable in price.. and even cheaper than some of its counterparts from the new oud trend from famous european companies..the longevity and sillage is extremely potent ..
mancer s line is niche to me ..i think its made to suite the elegant sophisticated taste of royalty and the elite ..and fine perfume lovers ..yes its strong and long lasting but not in offensive ways..
its a lovely perfume among the light nonsense we live among these days i think its worth every penny you spend on it .. at least you will stillabeable to smell it hours after you ware it and others will be intrigued and will definitely ask you what are you wearing?

Once I decided that I wanted an Oud based perfume, I headed straight to Selfridge’s in London and stalked their perfume counters for an afternoon. I had had many chats with perfume shop assistants about Oud and fragrances in general and was determined to splurge on something of superior quality. I asked the lady in Selfridge’s to let me smell everything they had with Oud and without prior investigations, I fell in love wirh this one. It is amazing. Strong yet elegant, sexy without being vulgur. It smells divinely luxurious and not a day has passed without me receiving compliments on it. A real beauty.

Actually I wanted to describe ‘Wild Fruits’ by Mancera, but it is not here:(. W.F. seems to be sparkling, exploding or so, which could hardly ever be unnoticed by those around us.
I got a sample of GOLD INT.AOUD, and it made it possible to use this scent from time to time and have some ideas about it. My first impression is that it does smell luxurious and is intended to get on well with both men and women. I found it a kind of one-piece fragrance and very complicated indeed. Not sure of the rose being dominant, I can feel its according with the wood and musk, especially one hour later after the opening (I mean, the musk is prominent then). It is as bright as the fashionable wear, as bold as a socialite.
