The “Reminds Me Of” section has this right: it smells like Le Male without mint, Cuba Gold with a bit less wood, and less so 360° White but still close with less florals and powder. It has a bit more cinnamon than all of those. In short, I would be exceedingly happy if I didn’t already own all three of the above listed fragrances. As is it’s a bit redundant. It’s great but really it’s just Le Male Lite. If you don’t own Le Male then by all means pick this one or Cuba Gold up and save a little money. Well worth the $13 I paid for the whole 3 piece gift set (fragrancenet) but it’s just not unique. All that said, it still does smell very nice and I like it a lot.

wA great scent on its own but very similar to 2 popular colognes ! Those 2 being Le Male and Prada Luna Rossa Sport.
Before going into comparisons I’ll describe this on its own. Gentlemen is a very creamy, soapy, aromatic, fougere that once it dries down also gets slightly powdery. I really do enjoy this scent as it’s very relaxing, warm and inviting !
As I mentioned earlier this is very similar to Le Male and Luna Rossa Sport(Which is also a more modern take on Le Male) but whereas Le Male is loud, musky and very sweet this is a more subdued version. I imagine Gentlemen is what Le Males bodywash would smell like.
Performance on me is 4-6 hours with moderate projection for an hour and then your left with a nice scent bubble after that. This is a perfect office scent or for a job that your in close quarters with someone as long as you stay with 2-4 sprays.
Also worth noting is that for a cheapie it’s actually pretty well blended and smells more expensive than it is. However in the drydown (about 3 hours in) it does start to fall apart and slightly reflect its price point as the scent is pretty much just vanilla at that point.
Overall rating —7.5 out of 10 ! Very nice scent for the price point. I’m so glad I rediscovered this as the first time I wore this my fiancée immediately said she liked it ( she also thought I was wearing Luna Rossa Sport)
Sidenote— Great Dumb reach for work, relaxing or running errands when you want to smell nice but don’t want to use your more expensive frags.

Like other’s have mentioned, this fragrance is very much a clone of Jpg. It’s a lighter version imo but not bad at all for the price. It reminds me of a flat Rootbeer soda for some reason. I blend it with Cuba Gold and it projects better and last a little longer

What an awesome oriental. Spicy floral with overtones of cinnamon, lavender, vanilla… and what seems to be the illusion of sweet almond. Very long lasting on my skin. Warm and inviting. Comforting. Don’t hesitate to buy on the blind. At 10 bucks, if you don’t like it enough… I am sure someone you know will. It is one of my favorites now… I went back and bought a few more bottles so I won’t run out.

Great fragrance! The opening note is a nice mix of soft anise and cinnamon. The dry-down is a powdery, musky (gourmand) aroma. On my skin, it last almost for 12 hours. You can’t go wrong with this juice. I am quite surprise because it was a blink buy at a great price.

JPG Le Male BUT creamier, vanillic, and softer. Less of a musk vibe here. lasts 2-3 hrs. You like that; you like this. Review fin.

This perfum for men reminds me of JPG Le Male! Right off the bat, I smell the floral, woodsy, almost zesty soap-like fresh scent. After the dry-down, a soft powdery scent lingers on. I bought this 3.3 oz bottle at TJ Maxx for $9.99. Not bad for the price. I’m not sure how it will wear, this is my first try, but it’s nice enough for the money! I think this is more of an evening perfum than a day perfum. I will see.

fujiyama follows in the vein of….lomani…adidas…in the sense that…its great quality low priced parfumes which make the experience of fragrance buying soo fun and un condesecending…this shit is awesome…
oh yea..economy priced and almost a dead ringer for le male…its actually warmer n spicier in many ways…

Not bad for the price..but its nothing special. Nothing that makes you really wanna put it on. I wouldnt buy another bottle since this one will probably never run out. I dont hate it..but I’d rather reach for almost everything else in my collection first. I was asked if I was wearing le male…and that kind of bothers me

Saw this at TJ Maxx a few times and finally picked it up based on the notes and reviews.
I’m always leery about buying fragrances that are geared toward males, but I tend to not like unisex ones and most women’s are too floral for me. I love cinnamon and thought this would be a good buy.
One first spray, I get a lot of lavender and woods. Then I get hints of violets but nothing strong then anise comes into play and maybe a little musk and it all blends together. It has a soapy quality to me and it borders on being too masculine for my tastes but fades to a skin scent very quickly and didn’t even last on a tissue I sprayed it on. No cinnamon at all.
I’ve had this on a half hour and the scent is almost gone. This will be a return.

As many of you may know, I do average joe type reviews with no notes since I don’t have a great nose for individual notes.
I picked this up last week for $9.99 at TJ Maxx in a gift set. This set included a 3.4 oz bottle of fragrance, aftershave, and shower gel. I only researched the juice for a minute on this site and saw people said it was basically a Le Male clone. I figured for $9.99 I couldnt go wrong. This juice does indeed open up just like Le Male. Gentleman basically is IMO the child of Le Male and Pi by Givenchy. This juice is the best of both. Definitely a fall/winter fragrance. Gentleman also had more longevity on my skin than the latest Le Male formulation. The projection is decent. Especially for the price you can’t go wrong. If you had a good formulation of Le Male and it’s your signature scent, Gentleman would be great to keep in your truck or gym bag for days running errands or hitting the gym. I am going to do this to still get the Le Male scent but save on my bottle. For guys new to the fragrance game, pick this up. $9.99 you can’t go wrong.
    Price: 5/5
    Scent: 5/5
    Projection: 3/5
If you see this at TJ Maxx or any other discounter, grab this up!!

A late 1990’s release, the company is deliberately misleading about the specifics of release dates to avoid litigation, as this is highly indebted to JPG’s Le Male and YSL’s original Jazz. It seems to be a compromise between both. That being said, usually Fujiyama’s are watered down copies of other solid 90’s stalwarts. That certainly could be said for the original Fujiyama Homme, a less complex 2-4 hour max copy of L’eau D’Issey Miyake. This one is different. It’s not synthetic, #1. It’s very well balanced and blended for its MSRP and the craftsmen behind it deserve credit. You’ll smell natural anise and cinnamon. #2 Longevity is stellar for its price point, 5-8 hours after 5 testings in late fall on my skin, exceeding the new formulation of JPG’s Le Male. #3 Nice three-tiered development on this one. Starts off with a nice balance of cinnamon and lavender right off the top, ten minutes later the anise makes itself welcome and 30-45 minutes later the vanilla and anise form a nice organic middle. The dry-down is mostly woods and musk with leftover anise and vanilla in the mix. Solid performer, given the power of some of its ingredients, this is very subtle and soft and can be worn at the workplace or used as everyday cold weather fragrance. For $9.99 at discounters across the USA, if you are looking for an affordable and reliable oriental, this is a great option.

I love this fragrance specially the price makes it even better. The only thing i do not like is that you detect a slight smell of figs. the dry down smells similar to Cuba gold. I have not tried it in the winter/fall which is the season that this fragrance calls for.. Will for sure udate when that time comes. I purchased mines for under $20 dollars i beleive for a 3.4. Cant wait for the cold season to arrive. I would recomend for anyone over 28 if they want something sweet but a little on the strong side and does not want to break the piggy bank. I give this a 7.5 out of 10.

Smells cheap! It seems to me like a knock-off of Jean Paul Gaultier.

Purchased this also as a blind buy from Marshall’s. Had good reviews on youtube as a cheap well done fragrance and they were right! It is really a nice scent… not real complex but the cinnamon and vanilla comes through like a champ! I did try Burberry London also this week when shopping and it kinda reminds me of a cheaper version of that, but by no means compares at that level! For $9.99 you cannot go wrong! Like someone said below it holds it weight to some more expensive fragrances. I think I’m going to enjoy this!

I came across this in a gift set at Marshall’s for $14.99. I figured I’d pick it up since I needed some new aftershave and shower gel. When I got home I gave it a spritz.
My first impression was that this reminded me of another inexpensive brand that I picked up at a Ross – Cuba Paris, except without that pipe tobacco note. And, by relation, JPG’s Le Male.
The initial spray gives that heavy floral aroma but after a few minutes there is this nice even blend of lavender, vanilla, and cinnamon. As it dried down further I sensed a bit of the musk. While the sillage is not there – arm’s length at best – it is a nice body scent that has that fresh appeal and the longevity isn’t half bad. I think it is well worth the fifteen bucks.
I particularly love fragrances like this because they allow me to save my favorites for special occasions while still wearing something I enjoy immensely.
I have considered using this in conjunction with JPG knock-off Jean Rene, like spraying Jean Rene first, allowing the initial alcohol smell to dissipate (maybe 5 minutes) and then applying Fujiyama Gentleman (or Cuba Paris) to get that stronger projection like in Le Male.

This one is interesting, and I only did a dab sampling so it may be better than I think it is at this point. It begins with very strong violet and lavender, along with a rosewood type of woodiness, sort of Green Irish Tweed gone awry, but it doesn’t smell terrible, just unbalanced. Not sure how long this opening will last with a normal wearing but I’d guess somewhere in the half hour to hour range. I don’t get strong anise, but over time the opening gives way to a basic, though nice smelling oriental base (a touch gourmand, really). Does this sound like a great idea to you? I prefer GIT because I want that kind of opening to persist for a long time. If I want an oriental or gourmand I already have plenty I really enjoy to choose from, and so this one doesn’t really have much appeal to me. However, I could imagine it having a small fan base who do like this idea.

It’s not bad for the price. I love cinnamon! But it was a blind buy so I’ll probably give it away.
