Description

Flowerbomb Nectar is the new member of the Flowerbomb fragrance collection from Viktor&Rolf. It represents a magical and surreal journey into the heart of the flower and an intense and fierce explosion of fresh and metallic accents and an intense floral agreement.

Flowerbomb Nectar opens with an unusual and “explosive” note of gunpowder accord that brings a freshness and slightly metallic feel. It features a floral syrup in its heart, made of notes of orange blossom, jasmine and osmanthus. The composition dries down with notes of benzoin, vanilla and tonka bean. It is made to be an intense scent for the evening, more intimate and mysterious that the original.

It is available as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum Intense.

Flowerbomb Nectar was launched in 2018.

    This smelt gorgeous to me

Flowerbomb is my favourite perfume, so I was very excited to hear about the new release.
It is as special as the original, with less prominent patchouli and a more syrupy opening.
I think I never had a gunpowder perfume before, and, at the first sniff, before knowing what it was, I perceived it as a slightly aldehydic, ozonic note.
It is amazing and I can’t recommend it enough to sweet lovers.
    Well done, Victor & Rolf!
Thanks to my boyfriend, I am now a proud owner of a 30 ml bottle and you can’t imagine how happy I am!

I love this with a passion. It’s so much deeper, sexier and not as innocent as the others. The classic is modest and elegant of a floral bouquet with that sweetness, bloom is more care free, but this is sultry. Even after showering I can smell it on my skin. The tonka bean gives it that warmth and cassis the depth. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Even though it’s hot here, it’s still easily wearable. This will most likely be the “it” fragrance of fall winter.

I’ve been through a bottle or two of the original Flowerbomb so was curious to try.
The florals really get up my nose with this one, and I’ve discovered resin gives me a headache. The sweetness is there but the jasmine and benzoin make this unwearable and overpowering for me, and I so wanted to love it.

  5. :

    5 out of 5

It sits too sweet on my skin. I am a person who doesn’t like to smell like candy or sweets and actively avoids scents with that emphasis. The one exception I make is vanilla to a degree as without anything on, I have been told I smell like that.
It might work for someone else but it isn’t me.

I’ve been using a sample of this for several days. I love this. It’s like Flowerbomb on steriods. It’s super sweet, much sweeter than the original, with a distinct slightly metallic smokiness. The smoke really sets it apart from other candy scents. To me it smells like what I wished Pink Sugar smelled like, smokey candy floss. If you like the original, you might not like this one as it’s way sweeter and totally different in my eyes. It’s missing that creamy, herbal patchouli and tea smell. If you love super candy gourmands you will probably like it. I wish I could afford a bottle 🙁 The performance is much better too, I get a full day with minimal sprays out of this whereas I need to re-apply the original.

I love this! Am I the only one that thinks this smells like Killian’s Love, Dont Be Shy?

Received a sample size of this and instantly loved the scent! originally never thought to try Flowerbomb so went into this with no preconceptions or even knowing what Flowerbomb smelt like. the longevity of this is crazy I spray it in the morning on me and can smell it all day. A good 10+ hours before you need to re -spray which is one of the main things I look for in a fragrance. It sticks to the skin and doesn’t tend to overpower others or be headache inducing. The scent itself is sweet and has an almost deep undertone to it – which would be the note of gunpowder, its feminine and heavenly. Such a divine scent that differs from anything I’ve smelt before. cant wait to purchase a full size of this.

  9. :

It is really a “bomb” because of the patchouli and gunpowder.
Great sillage and longevity as a result. Tonka and vanilla bomb too. Delightful sweetness but can be overwhelming after a couple hours…I had to wash it off and that was not an easy task! Very strong actually! On the gourmand side, no doubt.

Oh, Nectar. You drew me in with your gunpowder note, then gave me…well, just a more sugary Flowerbomb. Now, I like Flowerbomb. A lot, actually. And the idea of Flowerbomb with this dusty, dirty gunpowder accord really appealed to me. Maybe other people get this note, but on me this really just lived up to the Nectar name -which isn’t a bad thing, I suppose. Flowerbomb is already pretty damn sweet, but if you want sweeter, you will probably enjoy Nectar.

  11. :

    5 out of 5

A more sugary, more intense, longer lasting version of Flowerbomb. Whether something like that appeals to you is anyone’s guess. Get a good 12+ hours from this. Very sweet.

@ Germany i wore nectar today and was literally chased by a bee. My girlfriend who was with me was crying laughing. I should have listened to you. Anyway, a lovely creation by Viktor and Rolf.

I am not too impressed with Nectar, it is a sweet powdery scent, with a bit of a metallic undertone…it certainly smells pleasant, but nothing outstanding…I can see it more a for younger crowd ..I was never a fan of the original Flowerbomb, Nectar takes a different direction, with a floral powdery vibe, but it has been done many many times before..not one I need to have., but lovers of sweet perfumes might enjoy it..

Nectar is a must have for all the flowerbomb lovers. For all the gourmand lovers and all the women that like to smell rich and classy and sexy !!!
So this is basically a more deep, sweet ,sexier Flowerbomb. Instead of calling it intense they called it Nectar. Rumor has it that the purple intense version may get discontinued in place of the new Nectar .It is a great name as it is the flowers nectar instead of the flower, honeyed up , sexed up , spiced up and much sweeter as original Flowerbomb. Nectar is the gourmand edible twist to the original .The patchouli is still massive , which I love! Gunpowder I cannot smell , I am familiar with real gunpowder growing up in a hunters family and I cannot relate it here.
    I smell zero sulfurous notes.
I do smell the cassis , the vanilla and the patchouli! It’s a stunner !
Watch out ! WARNING ⚠️ bees ( and men ) will attack you , maybe BEST worn on a night out or in the cooler months.
Growing on me so much it moved to the top shelve ,lots of compliments from my husband and family. I like it quite a bit better than the original.
Along with prada femme , my favourite right now.

Angels are not innocent. They’re one of the most mischievous creatures in mythology.

  16. :

    5 out of 5

Why do I keep thinking that the Flowerbomb perfumes smell like sexy angels? I know, I know, sexy angels? What is this girl on about. there’s no such thing as a sexy angel, angels are sexless genderless and innocent.
But I’m telling you, this smells like a sexy female angel.
Like the all loving hug of a beautiful female fairy angel.
Edit: Just got it for myself. The 90ml bottle is ridiculously tiny!!

First of all, I will say that I am a BIG fan of original Flowerbomb. I also own Flowerbomb Bloom…which, sadly is just kinda “meh” for me. Well, while at Sephora last night I sniffed Nectar. And….SORRY…did not like it.
It goes on like FB…then turns to “melting plastic” smell..(maybe this is the gunpowder effect?)…so what’s left after that passes (if you can make it til then..) is the drydown which is just Flowerbom reg-u-lar smell.
IMHO…not worth the hefty pricetag !!! I will say it is “different” and more modern,(for lack of a better word).
I will pass on this one….AND Bloom as well, for that matter, and stick with the original fab Flowerbom edp.

  18. :

The combination of patchouli, vanilla, and gun powder in this fragrance creates a whipped silky quality that’s quite unique. It’s also very long lasting. This will probably be a ‘must have’ for me.

I hate to be the voice of dissent, but this one was a huge no for me. Got a sample from Sephora and it smells like the original Flowerbomb mixed with formaldehyde. Such a disturbing chemical sweetness that I knew immediately was benzoin (reminded me of the benzoin in Prada Candy which dominates that fragrance on my skin) mixed with some weird baby powder/pink bubblegum note that I know now is orange blossom mixing with tonka. Through this fragrance, I now know without a doubt that I cannot stomach benzoin and orange blossom is the sickeningly sweet bubblegummy scent that I’m getting in a majority of new releases lately (while neroli smells like honeysuckle on steroids). I was really hoping for something different (Flowerbomb ends up a patchouli bomb on me), but this is way out of my wheelhouse. I could, however, picture a coroner or mortician wearing this, LOL!

i think i detect some sorta blackberry smell in iy. could be the atchouli mixed with myrr. it remindse of salvatore ferragamo mysteriousa , the black bottle.

I have always loved Flowerbomb, but Nectar is much better. I really can’t get enough. This is another scent that I find addictive. You can really smell the tonka, benzoin, patch, vanilla and gunpowder. Now that I know what gunpowder smells like, anyway. lol. The gunpowder is what really made this perfume, in my opinion. It gives Nectar a more mature, sensual feel. It is a warm spicy sweet scent with great longevity and sillage. It has quickly become a fav of mine. Now, let’s just hope that they don’t discontinue this one like they did with FB Rose Explosion!

  23. :

I am really intrigued by this one, even tough I hate Floerbomb and all the other Viktor & Ralph fragrances, especially BonBon. That gunpowder note is badass. If this is actually spicy and mysterious as most people describe, I really feel this will be the first V&R fragrance that I may enjoy.

  24. :

Tried it at Dillards today. The opening notes are a sweet fruity floral, but they dry down into a powdery scent with a hint of floral. If you really get your nose up right next to your skin, there’s a tinge of a chemical, cough-syrup scent – possibly my interpretation of the gunpowder note? At a distance, it’s not terrible, but it’s not not for me. I’m not a fan of the original Flowerbomb, but I do like the top notes of Nectar more.

  25. :

I was absolutely delighted to see that Sephora just started carrying this, so of course I had to order it right away (another blind buy). I have and love the original Flowerbomb, and based on the reviews and notes, I knew I’d love it. And I was right!
Flowerbomb Nectar is absolutely delicious! I have never smelled gunpowder before, but I actually do get that metallic, smokey note in the opening. It develops into a sweet, sultry, ultra sensual grown-up candy scent that will have you continually sniffing your wrists. Projection is heavy for the first few hours, then settles into a moderate cloud that others can still smell on you. Lasts for ages, especially on clothes.
Somebody below said this reminded them of JPG Scandal, and I must agree. They aren’t the same at all, but they have the same vibe and I love them both!
If you like the original Flowerbomb, you will almost definitely love this, too. What a beauty.

I saw Flowerbomb Nectar for the first time today at Dillard’s. I tried it on and loved it automatically. I own Flowerbomb anyways and love their perfumes. Now imma have to get the Nectar. Sweet & Fruity!

Finally A flower bomb that I like
Sweet Candy Biscuity scent with a little bit of fruit
    My taste 🙂
and agree with one of the reviews ,
This perfume does match the name BOMB
The perfume just explodes with sweetness the moment you spray it on.
Considering buying it after the disappointing reformulation of my fav sweet scent BS fantasy

I got a sample of this and I think it smells wonderful. It does kind of smell like candy, I really want to get a full bottle.Neither of my sisters like the smell, but that’s fine with me. It’s totally me! I just wish the projection was better. I hope by Christmas they’ll have it in a gift set.

I’ve tried it on enough-I had to buy a full bottle today.
This is Heaven in a bottle! Different than anything that’s out there and the name is perfect for it. Sweet, delectable, delicious and daring. I also fell in love with Flowerbomb at first smell when it first came out, and did not think I could love this new one better but I do. They are very different!!
This is not an overpowering floral for me, thank God. Something in the notes bring it down/softens it, to a floral I can easily wear.

I Have to add that I’ve been on the hunt like most of you for my signature perfume for years now and I think I’ve found it! I was literally laying on the grass giddy as a seven year old in the sun smelling this lol it’s so seductive and addictive , who cares about the men! we just will want ourselves lol

Yes. I´m surprised. In fact, Flowerbomb Nectar has nothing much to do with original Flowerbomb /which is too sweet & cloying to my taste/. Nectar is different. It´s still sweet – but it´s a different kind of sweetness – it´s delicate, rich, warm & smooth. It´s a perfect blend of natural vanilla aroma, light /not medicinal/ patchouli, white flowers & honey-sweet resins. It´s like a cloud of sweet & fluffy comfort.

  34. :

    5 out of 5

This one is definitely recognizable as one of the Flowerbomb family, but I prefer this version over the original Flowerbomb. The original smells like sharp sweet tea to me, while this one is smoother, vanille-patchouli-tonka scent. It’s almost as if they combined the best part of BonBon and the original Flowerbomb to create Nectar.

  35. :

    3 out of 5

Ahh just got my sample yet to smell but several people say it’s sinilar to pink sugar because of a cotton candy vibe? Balloon me id you agree

  36. :

    5 out of 5

The bottle is gorgeous, the scent, however, not so much. Your regular flowery notes with a hint of fruit on a strong base of clean detergent powder. Projection, longevity weak in 20 degrees Celsius weather. I would sadly nor recommend. It also lacks anything that would make it a stand out in the crowd. The original is SO MUCH BETTER.
Don’t get me wrong – it’s a pretty scent, but it lacks in the performance, originality, wow department 😉

  37. :

    3 out of 5

Pretty generic and in my opinion not much different than Flowerbomb. Not my cup of tea both of them.

  38. :

    5 out of 5

I just got this and it is beautiful. You can totally feel the Flowerbomb DNA in this, but this one has more depth. I can totally feel the benzoin and patchoulli notes, which are beautifully done. I also smell a similarity with JPG Scandal and was somehow surprised there was no honey in this. It is sweet, indeed, and the name Nectar is very fitting for this scent. The longevivity and sillage are wonderful as well. A beautiful scent, all in all.

I bought the biggest bottle blind on eBay before it was even available in the US.
It wasn’t a wise thing to do, as I am ultimately not wowed by Flowerbomb Nectar.
Specifically I don’t like the opening, smells of sugar in the way these hard fruity candies smell when you first put them in your mouth, it also reminds me a bit of some sweet Arabian oils (again, in the opening) like Dalal.
The gunpowder is a gimmicky accord here I feel, and I have to really try hard to smell something resembling it in FB Nectar. From the mid notes down it’s getting better, and a bit more complex. Has some undertones of Flowerbomb but also a lot in common with BonBon. It will take me ages to finish that 3 oz bottle

  40. :

Very very sweet and sticky blackcurrants, like Ribena. Not for me I’m afraid.
Sampled it again and it’s growing on me, which actually says quite a lot for the fragrance as it couldn’t be further from my comfort zone if it tried!
Ended up buying a small bottle. I am weak. Sold it, it just wasn’t me.

  41. :

    5 out of 5

This is sweet and I love it!!!
The sillage is soft/medium on me, but it LASTS.
I can still smell it on my jacket from when I tested it weeks ago. It’s does share the same DNA with the original flowerbomb, although this one is way more refined and silky. I have a very hard time dissecting this, the notes are very well blended! I didn’t know what to expect from the gunpowder note, but to me I got a kind of “cold” metallic feel from it, it’s hard to describe, but it fits into the mix just as well as the rest of the notes! But the perfume doesn’t come off as cold to me at all, it’s warm and full bodied.
I actually love the original flowerbomb too, but this is just seriously magical. Absolutely the name “nectar” is fitting. It’s like all my favourite sweet things put into a cast iron pot and slowly cooked down to a concentrated pink, thick, heavenly syrup…

    *Really* impressed with this one.
My girlfriend and I tried it out while we were out shopping- thinking we weren going to be underwhelmed (because we sort of were with the original Flowerbomb) and it stopped us pretty much in our tracks.
Sweet, floral, candy scent that might be cloyingly sweet if not for the smoky metallic gunpowder (and yes its definitely there) and the patchouli. In the end it comes off as perfectly well balanced and one of the best candy/floral/sweet women’s scent I’ve come across. Addcitingly good.
The price is a little steep, but the projection and longevity (along with the scent itself) make it worth the money.
    9.5/10

i sprayed some on myself in Sephora and…I fell in love! in fact i think this smells better than the original Flowerbomb, definitely way sweeter, flirtier and girlier! i prefer Nectar of course! while the original FB smells sultry and seductive, Nectar is fresh! sweet! not cloying!

  44. :

This is by far my favorite perfume out of my collection. I’ve had this for approximately one week and can not get enough of it. The original Flowerbomb was good however I do find that the Flowerbomb Nectar is so much better. I can not stop sniffing my wrists throughout the day. Not to mention it has amazing longevity and silliage. I just may have found my new signature fragrance.

@ prettyswag your review convinced me to purchase a bottle and let me tell you, this scent is from the scent God’s!!! Someone mentioned candy hearts and yes it’s definitely smells like candy. Lovely from beginning To end.

My oh my this is scrumptious! Very sweet!with a teeny bit of smoke?its GOOD! I would love a fb of this! Yup. Slightly reminds me of Flowerbomb,,,but there’s that Tonka! ❤️❤️❤️ It’s perfect for any age!
    Super well blended! Bravo V&R.
I smell a burnt sugar note too..wonder what pink sugar layered with Original FB would smell like?
Edit..tried the layering! Pretty darn close! Try it!

OMG i just got this in the mail today & this scent is delicious & out of this world !!!! its the best scent i have smelled in a long time………..its like i want to eat my arm lol……..its that yummy smelling lol do i dare say i love it more than flowerbomb (which is a signature of mine ) ok i will…………i love it more than flowerbomb lol………
ok so im not the nose expert like a lot of fragranticans lol but if your someone like me & u go & read the ingredients u may think gee this doesnt sound good lol but dont be fooled lol…….after i read the reviews i thought i will give it a try & boy im glad i did…………ITS JUST AMAZING – SIMPLE AS THAT !!!! as far as what notes i pick up on oh lord lol………i would say vanilla & benzoin strong contenders on my skin, florals of coarse but creamy powdery florals & not sure what gun powder smells like but it must be doing something right lol cuz i still want to eat my arm lol or at least sniff it to death lol
so i would say its very similar to the original flowerbomb but deeper & creamier & dreamier 🙂 if ur a flowerbomb fan u have to get this – u will not be sorry :):)

At begging it was really nice, aromatic, vanilla-y, sweet, soft, cozy, sexy. With Flowerbomb ‘gene’, but much better. Someone told me that it reminds tea, rose tea. Later more and more patchouli came out… it started to give me headache and made this perfume less special and interesting. Quite strong and long lasting (mostly due to patchouli). Use very little. Great start, if only not for that patchouli later…

Soooooo good! One of the best new releases in recent years. It’s like the opening of Diesel Loverdose EdP meets Flowerbomb, but very well done. The licorice note isn’t cloying or nauseating like it can be in Pink Sugar. This fragrance is sweet, addictive, classy, sexy, really well done, not cheap or sickening. It has good longevity, too. The bottle is also adorable. Really yummy fragrance all around, except for the price.

Flowerbomb Nectar is so well blended that it´s hard to smell the different notes, exactly like BonBon. If I have to pick any of the notes as prominent it will be the cassis and the benzoin. It has a tone of burnt sugar that is wonderful and it must be the benzoin talking. Nectar is absolutely fabulous with it´s spicy, balsamic yet sweet aroma! The original Flowerbomb is not my cup of tea and I think it´s a little unfair that Nectar is a flanker to FB since I don´t think they share anything and Nectar is so very special that it shouldn´t have to be a flanker to any perfume. I´m quite taken by this scent and maybe it´s going to replace my favourite BonBon as my signature scent. Viktor & Rolf really produce wonderful perfumes with high quality. Nectar is a little more expensive than most EdP but since one spray is enough to last all day, probably because it’s an EdP Intense, I can´t complain about that. The bottle is a beauty and I´m kind of sorry I didn´t buy a bigger bottle since it deserves to stand out on my shelf where I keep all my precious perfumes.

Flowerbomb Nectar is all about Blackcurrant.
And has huge strength and sillage.
Even though I love strong perfumes, Flowerbomb Nectar with its super sillage and strong blackcurrant note scared me at first. I didn’t think we were going to get along. I used to own Lacoste Sensuelle which also has a strong blackcurrant note. Although it did smell nice. It had very weak strength and sillage. Yet I found its blackcurrant note very sickly sweet. That’s why I eventually gave Lacoste Sensuelle away. And that’s why I didn’t think myself and Flowerbomb Nectar were going to be friends. But I was so wrong! After two weeks of wearing Flowerbomb Nectar on and off two days at a time, I have fallen head over heals in love with it.
Comparing Flowerbomb Nectar to the Original Flowerbomb.
Every now and then I smell the DNA of the Original Flowerbomb in Flowerbomb Nectar. And just like the Original, Flowerbomb Nectar has little to do with Flowers. Apart from that, the two perfumes differ greatly. When I wear the Original Flowerbomb, I always find it to have very weak strength. Maybe a little more sillage than I can smell on myself. But overall – Weak! On first spray I do like the Original Flowerbomb. But over time during the day it becomes more and more sharp, scratchy and cold smelling. I Hate Musk, and the Original Flowerbomb has way too much Musk for me. The Original Flowerbomb always ends up giving me a headache.
    Flowerbomb Nectar is completely different.
Just one or two sprays to start the day off with. Although Flowerbomb Nectar is super strong, it also has a lovely softness to it as well. The blackcurrant is neither too sweet or too tart. I do smell Patchouli and even some Musk. But either they are a different kind of patchouli and musk to the original. Or it’s the blackcurrant in Flowerbomb Nectar that turns them magically warm and wonderful.
Even when I’m in bed I can still smell Flowerbomb Nectar (Even when I wake up the next day) giving me a warm hug.
I think Flowerbomb Nectar to be an Autumn, Winter, Spring perfume. But that won’t stop me having a go at wearing it in summer. I couldn’t possibly hold out until Autumn.
    Love It!
    Edit!
    Forgot To Say…
I don’t smell anything that I could say was Gunpowder.
Although I do sometimes get a sense of a bit of Liquorice.
Vanilla is in just the right proportion. Yes you can smell it’s there. But Flowerbomb Nectar is not a vanilla pudding perfume.

  52. :

For me this is heaven. The Patch is smooth the Tonka/vanilla is deep and every note is well blended. Sillage is moderate which is my preferred sillage and the longevity is good. This is gourmand at its best. I also get wafts of burnt sugar vibe maybe the benzoin is causing that.

I thought it gonna be another lame edition …
GIRLS THIS IS SOOOOOOOOOO UNIQUE .. sweet vanilla damn sexy fragrance

the packaging is cute different than any other flowerbomb
    eassssy 9/10 scent for me

I got to try this today! I love the bottle. It’s like someone took the original FB and smashed it, lol. This is a sultry, sexier version of flowerbomb. The patchouli is definitely there but this is spicier. The tonka bean is strong! The sweetness is also more prominent in this with vanilla. People compare original FB a lot to BBW sensual amber but I feel like this one is a much more similar dupe of SA. It smells almost exactly like it!

This is damn yummmy!!!! My bday gift to myself! Sexy , sweet blackcurrents rt out the box i can smell soon as i opened it and this has a hint of Jasmine from original hinting through it and this is Not like no Jimmy choo. Everything is blended well and yes its sweet but sexy sweet , plummy jasmine floral fruits and lasting power is 10/10…Dont need to over spray ….worth it. I love the original as well. This will be nice for fall. This shyts on Mon Guerlain fragrance…if you want sexy grown soft deep lasting sweetness! Yes its the BOMB!!

  57. :

    3 out of 5

To me, this is a summer relative of the more fall-like Jimmy Choo EDP. I smell sweet, maybe a hint of fruit, and that potting soil type patchouli. This one isn’t as much toffee and pear, more just a general hodge podge of sweetness, but the balance with that fresh, sharp patch is absolutely similar.
As exciting as the gunpowder accord is, I don’t detect it AT ALL. At least not any of the kind of gunpowder I grew up smelling. Perhaps am I not familiar enough with the scent on its own, I only associate it with the smell that comes right after a bullet is fired and the shell discharged, in which case there is a kind of metallic, burning smell, almost bitter. Nothing like that here.

Ohhh, that’s absolutely fantastic perfume! Reminds me of a really good ice wine 🙂

the smell reminds me of the smell of a tropical fruit – Custard Apple, with a hint of gunpowder/smokiness that makes it more sexy, as opposed to being completely sweet and youthful.

This is a recognizeable flowerbomb flancer due to its strong patchouli note. Compared to the original this is a softer, sweeter, more mature and a bit restrained. Kind of the opposite of the words I expected to use for something called “nectar”. Don’t be fooled though, this is a complex and elegant blend.
The main notes I get are patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean and gunpowder. It is truly deserving of the “bomb” part of the name. It is pretty well formulated in the sense that it lasts for a full day.
I didn’t like the original, and I’m not a fan of this either. Mainly because of the strong patchouli. However, I’d advise people who like patchouli to try this. It really has some potential.

This one is definitely “sweeter” and also different than the original Flowerbomb. It is more “mature” like a “well seeped tea”. All the notes are cohesive much better in this composition. The original DNA is there but not by much. The “licorice” vibe in the dry down actually sets it apart. Beautiful, creamy and smooth Tonka Bean, Vanilla and Patchouli. It is sweet, but not “fruity”, or “nectarine” sweet as its name Nectar. So don’t be alarmed 🙂 It is intense but not heavy. That is a plus for me. All the floral notes came in last and settled, stayed lingered on my skin…like forever. Such a positive fragrance!
I could see this one somehow “relates” to the “Poison” line of Christian Dior (due to the “licorice”), and even some Mugler perfumes (as mentioned in one previous review in here). But Nectar is far more sophisticated than those.
It is, without a doubt, on my list of well done and expensive perfumes (for scents, quality, and price).

This is kind of a bit Mugleresque in it’s approach, complex, strangely gourmand and a little exotic. The fruity opening is osmanthus heavy but soon descends into a thick, chunky fragrance of patchouli and tonka but it’s not a creamy sweet vanilla all the sweetness is provided by the heart note of cassis, which isn’t a straight forward sweetness. The drydown surprised me a bit because I found the opening a bit feminine and too reminiscent of recent, black orchid style fragrances but with far less class like a Marc Jacobs Decadence for example. However, the drydown is a quiet, balsamic affair much more unisex and with a blackcurrant note of cassis and even a hint of liquorice. I quite liked it, despite an obvious and overtly female focused opening which would be sickly after a while it changes to something softer and more balanced.

I really enjoy the new flanker Flowerbomb Nectar. It’s clearly in the Flowerbomb family, and it’s sweet and modern, but I think it has something original about it.
The gunpowder note is very noticeable to me. It makes me think of sparklers and small fireworks, and also of the ammonium chloride inside of Turkish Pepper salty licore candy. It’s very wearable though, as it’s tempered by the sweet, syrupy notes of vanilla, tonka, patchouli and something slightly fruity, maybe coming from the cassis leaf or the apricot-like osmanthus flower. The name “Nectar” is a good match for this lush fragrance.
It dries down to a warm and balmy scent.
It’s quite strong and very longlasting. It doesn’t have the airy floral and tea notes that lift Flowerbomb EDP up, so it’s richer, deeper and heavier in comparison to the original. I loved Flowerbomb as a teen when it was new, but today I would rather use this Nectar.

I don’t particularly enjoy anything made by Viktor and Rolf, to me Flowerbomb and Bonbon smell similar in that they smell of sugar and alcohol, however, coming across this specific offering has me changing my mind! There is a milky, creamy element going in within Nectar that isn’t present within the other two and I am blown away by how it fits into the composition. You can tell they are from the same family, but this flanker is on a whole different level, I seriously wasn’t expecting to love it THIS much. The staying power is also crazy, lasted a whole day and a shower, which to me, justifies the price of the fragrance and the motive behind buying it.
If you hated the previous V&R offerings, try this one, as it could be the one for you 🙂

i have tried it. and I think it smells like all the other sweet sirupy Perfumes like Poison Girl,LVEB, etc. which where released the last years.
The DNA of Flowerbomb is discernible, but it smells more girly and sticky sweet.
I must wash it off from my back of the hand. So much sweet and unpleasant smelled Flowerbomb Nectar for me.
I imagine I smell a bit of Licorice.
I prefer the Original Flowerbomb much more than this.

I wanted to try this one for some time now, but I most definitely did not expect to like this one at all, let alone like it so much. This one is seriously underrated. Somewhat difficult to describe the notes individually, it’s all blended so nicely – although patchouli is definitely not ve
