Description

The American house of Express is launching a new fragrance for confident women, ideal for evening goings out – Express Glam.

Express Glam is a chic, oriental floral fragrance that opens with black currant and mandarin vodka. The sensual heart is built around jasmine and lily of the valley notes, while the base closes with praline, creamy musk and white woods.

The fragrance is designed and bottled exclusively by Express – in elegant glass flacons with a modern twist. The fragrance has been available on the market since 2012.

This smells surprisingly good for a cheap perfume. It goes on a little funky, but as it dries down, I catch wafts of a light, airy sweetness that is quite delightful. Who’d a thunk it?!

This is copying the sweet, gourmand trend of fragrances on the market today like Fancy, LVEB, Flowerbomb, etc. but I like it more than half of the other perfumes that are of the same gourmand vein.
The great thing about this scent is the gourmand fluffy lightness it has and the way it envelops you in a cloud of white vanilla musk that is a hint floral but the chocolate and black currant really stand out beautifully…in the right weather.
It is a warm weather scent for me which is too bad because I don’t crave sweet scents all that often, and I use this sparingly in the Summer which is why I am selling it!
However, on the occasions I have used it, it is super comforting and the sweet musk stays clean while projecting beautifully in the heat.
It reminds me of Bath and Body Works Forever Midnight.

y’know the paper perfume tester things in magazines? i stuck one of those, for this scent, along with some large shipping bubbles into a purse that had become misshapen.
fast forward a year and a bit, and i went to use that purse and absentmindedly rubbed the perfume tester on my arm while unstuffing the purse.
imagine my shock when the fragrance turned out to be quite nice!
so i bought an actual bottle and it arrived today – and it’s amazing.
it’s been out longer than the Forbidden perfume from Victoria’s Secret, but they’re quite similar (on me) even though the notes listed couldn’t be more different.
i hate jasmine – it almost always smells of poo to me, and currants smell like cheap flea collars. so if i hadn’t already smelled it, the notes listed here would’ve totally turned me off of it.
the bottle vaguely reminds me of something a Liz might’ve put out in the late 80s, but i don’t buy perfumes for the bottles (although sometimes i buy bottles because they’re pretty, even though i don’t want the perfume!).
in short? don’t dismiss it because it’s from Express, or because it’s cheap. if a vanilla cream soda sounds like something you want to smell like, try this. ♥

I think I might have to purchase this fragrance soon. It’s just musky enough to where a guy can wear it as a sweet cologne. The name “Glam” really suites it well as the smell of espensive vodka can be noted with the delicate touch of lovely black currant. Lily-of-the valley is a little intensive giving the vodka its sparkling touch without being straight up tonic water. Like I said, it’s lightly noted but gives this fragrance a spring time like feel. The dry down is still light and fizzy with the musk, praline, and woods giving it a more serious after party that says “I’m going home famous”. For the prices online and the sheer, espensive “glamorous” satin sheet vibe you get from this flanker, it is a must buy.
UPDATE: I ended up buying this beauty off Ebay for less than twenty dollars. I’ve gotten the full experience from it today. This scent does last all day, though it remains close to the skin. It was a pleasant aroma to breathe in as I sat in class today and then continue into work. The day is done and I still have a faint trace of it still left on my skin. I can say with confidence that it makes you feel glamorous and beautiful all day.

For a scent from a clothing store, I really really like this! It is one of my favorite scents. On me it lasts all day, you can smell it but it has a soft smooth quality, and I think it is very sexy and sophisticated, not too sweet, slightly gourmand, a little woody, slightly floral, just right! I hope they never discontinue this. I actually can’t think of any other scent out their right now that smells like it : )

Pretty nice safe scent coming from Express. Smells sexy, light, sweet and floral. Best from Express so far. I can really see a sexy girl in a nigh out wearing this. For my personal opinion I recommend trying out Glam. For its performance I can’t say.
So I will reate for the smell only. 🙂

I tried this in the store and liked it but noticed it quickly faded. It would be a steal for its price if it held up. It’s been 4 hours since I sprayed it and I barely can tell its there and I’ve not really been active (sitting in a cool room).

I smelled it when I was at Express store recently. Its a nice gormand, totally different from Love Express(which is very fruity). I do see “Glam Express” as a bit more adult and glamourous but its still a very light scent. Quite plesant though-its sweet, fresh with just a hint of powder(to my nose it doesn’t smell floral at all and jasmine and lilies are MIA). However lasting power leaves a lot to be desired-it only lasted about 40 min on me. I didn’t expect a long lasting scent but if it was, i would have considered buying it

I love this fragrance. It is light and sweet.

It is a more mature scent than Love Express which was very sweet and teenybopper (imho). Very generic, though. Nondescript bottle as well.
