Description

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette is a new version of the first perfume by designer Elie Saab, feminine and elegant Elie Saab Le Parfum from 2011.

“I come from a Mediterranean city bathed in heat and light, surrounded by vibrant nature loaded with fragrance. One scent stays firmly in my mind, that of orange blossom. The house where I grew up was surrounded by orange trees and when the breezes came through the branches they brought their ethereal fragrance with them”, said Saab.

The scent is sharp and sensual floral – woody. This version is also signed by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian who pays tribute to the designer’s memories of the Mediterranean and the scent of orange blossom in the air, so that it is the key ingredient of the composition once again. Aromas of mandarin tree blossom provide tart freshness to the heart of orange blossom and gardenia, placed at the base of vetiver, rose and honey.

The silhouette of the original bottle became “slimmer” for this edition. The fragrance is available as 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette.

Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette was launched in 2012.

I believe E.Saab L.P. EDT is one of the most sophisticated perfume I ever had in my collection. I recently emptied my bottle with a little regret, above all I miss its orange blossom note.
    Classy, elegant.
It blowed gently around me, in discreet but evenly tenacious manner. Never excessive thanks to that bit of honey.

Elie Saab is one of my favourites and I have several of it. The Le Parfum EDP,Girl of Now and Elie in White however are too strong for my nose so this EDT version is just perfect. Got this bottle today and it smells exactly like the EDP to me but not as sharp, its softer and more floral with a creamier hint of honey. Fresher also. Very summery spring scent and office safe suitable for daytime.

Just super lovely. Very smooth blended and elegant summer scent. I got everything in it in a well balanced ratio, not a single note stood out more than the others. I love how rose note played out in here. This flanker simply has a beautiful performance on my skin. It is lighter, more airy, more wearable, and less “sharp” than the EDP, but still remains as a creamy white floral fragrance. A VERY nicely done one from Elie Saab.
And of course, they had to discontinue it 🙁

I love this fragrance, it is so gorgeous, elegant and sunny but unfortunately it gives me a terrible headache. There is more gardenia and honey in this than I expected but they work really well with all of the other elements. If you are sensitive to some fragrances, be careful and test this one a few times before committing to a full bottle.

I suppose that this was the scent that revived my interest in fragrance and made me curious to try new creations. About 5 years ago I decided to get myself something for Christmas. The first whiff of this made me think, oh no this is much too strong, flowery and sweet. But as the day went by I liked it more and more. It was very different from anything else that I had. Against the advice of a colleague who didn’t like it, I bought it!
Everytime I use it I brace myself because at the beginning it comes on as a strong sweet orange and floral scent. Haven’t really gotten used to that after all this time! It does calm down quite quickly thank goodness. The sweetness of the honey lasts very long and together with the white florals gives off a jasmine-y vibe to my nose. Sillage is not terribly good but as long as I can smell it on me I’m happy.
There are only a few ml left in my bottle now. I was going to hoard it but instead I have decided to use it up and enjoy the last few sprays. Perfect for the end of winter and the start of spring.

This is the best one from all Elie Saab fragrances. It’s a shame, it has been discontinued.

The creamiest orange blossom ever. The rose is light but noticeable and I think the creaminess is from the gardenias and honey. Slightly peachy from the effect of the mandarin blossom, as it’s sweeter and fruitier. It smells like orange jam and honey flavored yogurt. Heavenly and smooth.

In theory this is ultra-feminine and no guy should wear this. I don’t want to scare any ladies by claiming this is unisex or masculine because this is anything but. This is a clean, sparking, effervescent flowery beauty that every woman should give a try. However, I wore this on a fluke one day and I got a ton of compliments. I even asked one woman who commented if she felt I smelt feminine at all and she replied “no, you just smell GOOD”. Looking at the notes maybe my skin brings out the vetiver and turns the orange blossom into straight citrus. On me it has a clean, soapy just out of the shower feel. Again, I am talking about the EDT. I have not tried the EDP and something tells me it won’t work as well on me because the vetiver note is absent. Anyway this is now my secret and I’ll just keep wearing it and taking in the compliments.

An iconic fragrance. Instantly recognizable and a crowd pleaser. Compliments all round whenever I wear this, even when I can’t smell it myself. Honey and white flower sweetness. Sillage is 8/10 and longevity is 10/10.

I’m sorry but this smells to me like my teenage daughter slathering herself with cheap perfume to hide the cigarette smell of her.
I smell tobacco with cheap floral perfume covering it
    sorry

This EDT has better longevity and sillage than most EDP I own. But it isn’t overbearing. Very elegant feminine scent, absolutely love it!

This is such a gorgeous scent and my favourite out of all the elie saab line.
Firstly it reminds me of a confident and seductive woman, she knows how beautiful she is and doesn’t let anyone bring her down.
The mandarin blossom is key in this, its crispy and zesty and gives the perfume a citrus kick, which to me makes this perfume more sexy compared to the other flankers, which i see as more mature and elegant.
Gardenia is strong and smooth and the honey isn’t too intense. Vetiver also ads a dry almost spicy touch.
So all together i think the notes work wonderfully and create an amazing scent.

I was initially attracted to the pretty bottle and tried this in a department store. I then received a bottle as a Christmas gift. Oh dear, after a couple of uses I sold it on. I felt it was so heady, thick and smothering. I like light, fresh and floral scents and this is not one. I ended up feeling extremely nauseous when wearing this fragrance. I just don’t find it pretty in any way and if I smell it on anyone else I feel sick then too. Absolutely hated it.

Wow! this fragrance is absolutely beautiful. Very sophisticated and elegant; mature but in a fun and inviting way. A little goes a long way, perhaps even one spray. I regret having taken so long to try this lovely perfume.

Oh this perfume is addictive. I received a sample of the edt and was immediately in love. I did not hesitate to buy it when I could get my hands on a 90ml bottle for a decent price. Not my standard practice, because I have not worn an eau de toilette in years. Normally they don’t last on me. Honestly, that is a bit of an issue with this one too. After 3 hrs the sillage is very soft.
Yet since the scent is so lovely, it doesnt really matter. I just bring a travel bottle with me to freshen up on the way. The mandarine jasmine blossom combo with a touch of honey is simply divine. The fresh, sweet scent makes you feel happy. I still want to test the eau de parfum properly as well. If it is comparable to this one but with higher sillage and longevity, it will be among my favorites.

If this is the paragon of “old ladies’scent” old ladies rule!!!!! This is a beautiful, crystaline, well balanced, pick me up perfume that makes your (summerish) day brighter and colorful. On my skin mandarin blossom is the main note followed by orange flower, honey is very soft, and Elie Saab EdT is light and airy. It is quite different scent from the EdP, I love them both but like this best. Pity the poor noses that can’t really feel this treasure !!!!!

So_much_friggin_white_flowers! I sprayed it on with no knowledge of the notes. I’m all for orange blossom, but this is horrid. I’d suppose it’s the gardenia. Screeching, stingy, so strong it made my eyes water. Not for me, apparently.
But, today I learnt I do not like gardenia. I made a promise that I would learn something new everyday, maybe this counts.

  22. :

    5 out of 5

This is a lovely, crisp, beautifully crafted white floral. It’s sparkling, fresh, light, delightful, sunny, and polished. I am getting a lot of gardenia and citrus–I’m surprised lime isn’t listed because I swear there is a citrusy element somewhere. I do understand how some could find this “masculine,” as it is highly refreshing and invigorating, not powdery or sweet. I barely got any honey at all. If I could compare it to another scent I would say it’s something of a marriage between Hermes Un Jardin sur Le Nil–think fresh, green, and springy–and a toned down, honeyed Chanel Chance.

  23. :

It’s warm, sophisticated, not an ordinary fragrance. It is strong and hot sweet at the opening. I love how it’s melts in my skin making me feel very feminine and calm.

  24. :

    3 out of 5

On me it never felt masculine, Elie Saab EdT is a pick me up scintillating fragrance that is so joyful, light, soft but like a cloud that follows you. This is one of the best white florals out there, the honey is much less strong than in the EdP. Can be used in all seasons, but in extreme heat loses its longevity. The only drawback on me is said longevity, 6 hours on cooler days 3/4 on hotter. Apart from that it is a most beautiful scent.

Well, this turns out to be more complex than I originally thought. When I first received this and tried this (blind buy), it screamed unisex frag to me, at best. I wore this for the day and initially I found this to disappear within a couple of hours, becoming skin scent. Almost smelled masculine to me. So this went to the back of my fragrance collection, a tad disappointed in this.
Well………Fast forward: We are now around the holidays, I decided to pull this out and try this again. I no longer get the strong unisex scent from this. I would describe this now as a mature (not old lady) fragrance, one that is great for a woman who is comfortable and content with where she is in life. Not overpowering. Sillage and projection are moderate. Longevity is quite good, lasting a good 8 to 10 hours.
I don’t know what happened or why this changed in the few short weeks that I’ve had this, it is still in the cooler months, but I now quite enjoy this fragrance. It is far more feminine than the first day that I tried it, yet not girly-girly. Soft and lovely. I do find I need more spritzes of this than I typically use with a fragrance. I usually use 2 or 3 spritzes of a fragrance, and with this, I find I need about 5 or even 6 spritzes to get this to have the projection I want (and even then, it is moderate projection). So, this is obviously not a room-filling fragrance. Just a lovely soft projection and a very slight hint of sweetness (which the subtle sweetness only pulls through for me after about 4 hours). I can’t discern any of the notes on their own, I do not smell this and think ‘orange!’ and I do not detect rose on it’s own nor any of the other notes on their own; so the notes are cleverly blended.
I do appreciate the vetiver in this, I think that is what keeps this from becoming too girly for me. Definitely growing on me and has already become a ‘like’ fragrance for me. I think this is a great year-round fragrance, and also suitable for day or night. A like that is fast becoming almost a love for me. I am so glad I gave this one a second chance!!

What I’m noticing here with all the reviews is the amount of positive ones that are given so many ‘thumbs ups’ and all the large bunches of balloons they’ve acquired from happy readers…….
    Fantasic! Wow!
With SO MUCH positivity ‘oozing’ from this page, I MUST try this too, so I’m in for a 10ml purse spray blind buy.
(very affordable – found these on Ebay @ $15 )
    Thanks guys and gals. 🙂

Feminine, airy, sophisticated and elegant.A beautiful light white floral with the sweetness of honey.
Honey and orange blossom make a perfect couple.I can’t detect any rose.
Perfect for daily wear in all seasons. It’s even better to me in colder days.

Is it me or really this one smells almost identical to Stella by Stella Mccartney? I mean both smell great but I was given a sampler of Stella and 2 weeks ago I got my first Scentbird fragrance of Elie and they both smell the same. I’m so confused

I love the scent for a everyday perfume, but on my skin it has no sillage at all and it rapidly fades. I literally have to rub my nose on my arm too feel something right now, and got it all over me 4 hours ago.
I own the l’eau couture, it’s soft to but the sillage it’s way better.

I was walking in the park with my family and my aunt kept remarking that she could smell something beautiful. We all tried to figure out the source, until everyone realized it was my perfume. Intoxicating and gorgeous, this beauty is strong without being too strong, sophisticated while not cold, elegant and absolutely delightful.
It lasts almost the whole day and has moderate to low sillage. I’m going to stock up on this beauty.
On me, it’s predominantly white floral and orange blossom. Sweet, without being candy like, the sweetness stems from the flowers. Masterpiece 🙂
I’d say try before you buy. This could become too sweet on your skin.

I just purchased my bottle and I absolutely love it. It is both sophisticated and playful. Even I, a person without a well-developed “nose” for perfumes, do pick up on the orange blossom and gardenia. I can smell rose, as well. However, I feel that the rose fades to the background a bit over time and the orange/gardenia really carry throughout the day. This scent outlasts my other fave, Oscar’s Live In Love. Elie Saab is noticeable, but not overwhelming. Wear to the office during the day, dinner in the evening. Very wearable. This scent is definitely my new fave.

  32. :

On me, this is white florals (orange and mandarin blossom) all the way: sharp, bitter, even smoky, not sweet. I don’t detect any honey to cut the sharpness. It remains the same from opening through dry down, which has lasted all day – 9+ hours. But it is somewhat addictive. You will want to buy it and have it for when you are craving it. It will be my white floral break from my new love of gourmand scents.

  33. :

    3 out of 5

Blind purchased based on bren400 review and I love it. The top notes reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez for her(pink bottle) but the dry down takes on a character of its own.
I detect orange blossom, and honey which is quite wonderfully blended. Awesome for spring and summer months due to the tangy orange blossom. Sillage is moderate, longevity about 8-10 hrs on me. Anyway, love it:-D

I believe this is my 2nd review. Mmmmmmmmmmmm-This is PURE sophistication in a bottle! Thanks to fragrantica, I found another love! The sweetest, strongest, longest wearing, and heaviest in sillage fragrance in my wardrobe. I tend to fall in-love with only floral/fruity/fresh/woody fragrances, and this has been the ONLY sweet exception since Incanto Charms in 2010 & Escada’s Rockin’ Rio in 2004. Though I gravitate towards this one in autumn, winter, and spring. I like to wear it when I’m all dressed up. One shouldn’t be allowed to wear this in a t-shirt and jeans…it DESERVES more respect than that. If you REALLYNfeel like you have to wear jeans when you choose to wear this, then wear them snug fitting, and throw on some stiletto boots or some pretty strappy sandals, some jewelry (mentioned especially for those that aren’t used to wearing any) and you will KILL it! I take a whiff from the bottle when I miss it. It gave me a headache while riding a 25 minute ride in a cab on 2 different occasions, but that hasn’t stopped me from wearing it! I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS AND I REFUUUUUSE TO LET A MILD HEADACHE TURN ME AWAY FROM THIS BEAUTY AND HEAVEN OF A SCENT-MY GOODNESSSSSSS!!!!!! It will always remain in my top 5!!!!! It is just THAT good, guys!

I found my bottle of Elie Saab Le Parfum EdT at the TJ Maxx in a gift set with the body lotion. There was only one left and I snapped it up whilst looking around just in case someone grabbed it before me. All my loves in one place, orange blossom, rose and gardenia. I adore this one for so many reasons and the main reason is how it is masterfully blended. I can’t really pick out any singular notes, but I think I have fallen in love with vetiver. I’ve smelled vetiver in other perfumes and did not like it one bit. BUT this dry down is to absolute die for and I think it’s the vetiver. On my skin, I get the spiciest, sexiest, rich, deep scent. Also, I never ever get compliments, but this one does. BOY OH BOY! I’ve found my ultimate perfume love, finally. All in all, if you see this at TJ Maxx, buy it. It is worth every penny.

I don’t like the EDP but this I love. On my skin it lasts 6 to 7 hours with moderate to delicate sillage and its main note is the mandarin flower which is heavenly with a little honey and rose. It is a sweet scent because of the honey , but naturally sweet, not cloyingly or vanilla-y. I could almost swear it had musk (ES Edt has that Narciso vibe but even better). Also it is not bitter or annoying. On me it is amazing and haunting and not heavy like the EdP !!!!!!

  37. :

in the top note, i can smell the freshness of mandarin and orange, unfortunately it doesn’t last. in the heart notes i can smell gardenia and honey. these compositions are heavy and strong. gardenia and honey are blended together make it very sweet and flowery. in dry down, vetiver and rose are too light and tiny, almost nonidentical. sweetness and flowery vibe make it young, fresh, sexy, elegance and naughty.

I love all the elie saab fragrances i have tested til now,le parfum intense is my best but this orangy floral soul purifying scent is my first and best choice for spring,it smells just like spring but it wearable year round in mild temperature
It starts with fresh orange and rose and follows by it’s creamy floral heart, soft orange blossom and gardenia sweetened by honey,a modern floral with enough citrus freshness and enough sweetness, depth and personality
It is bright, sweet, femminine, truely beautiful,a true compliment getter, lots of men and women are gonna ask about your lovely perfume, it’s also very versatile, great for office and date, even a lovely bride perfume, longevity and sillage are more than moderate,
If you want to smell ladylike, elegant, clean, youthful and sexy the same time go for it,it’s very simple and unique the same time,it also can make a great gift for a young, classy lady
There are some fragrances I recommend everyone, this one and elie saab couture are my biggest spring recommendations

This reminds me of my home town in the late winter, early spring when the days are just starting to get warmer and the orange trees are in full bloom. Big orchard grooves of orange trees filled with the heady scent of blossoms and the constant hum of bees. It only feels right to wear this in that winter to spring transition when it’s still a bit cold but there is a promise of spring in the air.

  40. :

Super tangy and tart! On my skin it’s much more orangey/citrusy than floral. There is also a musky undertone that works well with my chemistry. Though it is definitely fresh, it’s not as light or effervescent as I was led to believe based on the reviews here. I like it and consider it a successful blind buy but I don’t wear it that often. Maybe things will change when the weather gets warmer, as I purchased this in late November. Hopefully the fragrance will bloom beautifully in the super humid Japanese summer.

Beautiful, light, orange & mandarin blossom scent. Gentle, charming, cheerful like a ray of sun. I can easily imagine wearing it at the Mediterranean coast in late spring. My new love or more precisely, old like & new love in one.

Less musky and more floral than original EDP, lasting too, very recommended.

It’s nice nothing more nothing less. Far from the intoxicating smell of the EDP which I prefer because it is much more close to the real smell of the orange blossom I got when I visited Sevilla.

    Orange blossom sawdust.
Sherapop was right!! This fragrance is ISO E-Super central! The bitter peppery cedar is unquestionably the center or heart and base here, so if you’re not into that, avoid the this one at all costs! The top notes are orange and a very hygienic modern orange blossom. I really think Cedar or ISO E Super should be listed in the notes since it is such a major player. As it is, the note list is misinformation. I detect no Rose, and no vetiver at all.
I’m glad I have this because it makes me smell pretty, put together, and normal, but it is not my preferred orange blossom because of the ISO E Super. The best most realistic and beautiful orange blossom I’ve ever smelled is Zagara by Santa Maria Novella. That one is absolute favorite.
    Update:
This smells really great if you don’t press your nose to your wrist. The fake cedar is way less apparent (though still noticeable) in the sillage. This one is going to work out after all.

I have come to realize orange blossom, orange, mandarin, etc is just not for me. There is a big BUT with this fragrance because although Le Parfum EDT is not something I plan on wearing a lot, it’s only because I’m just not an orange-y/orange blossom person. It is not in any way a reflection on the fragrance. The scent itself is gorgeous, the way this particular type of perfume is supposed to smell. It’s not candied at all, it’s perfectly balanced, and it’s not synthetic smelling. It never gets boring, but it’s not weird or unusual. Le Parfum EDT is what the other orange blossom fragrances wish they could be. Just fabulously fresh and sparkling, with a touch of sexiness, just a whisper or fleeting caress. More and more, I find myself curious about all things Francis K. If I was indeed a fan of the orange blossom/orange type notes, this would easily become my signature, steep price tag or not.

My new favourite for summer months. Cannot wait through this winter season!

  47. :

Bright, pretty floral. I feel like there’s a tiny citrus note that keeps it fresh instead of being too one-note on me. It’s one of my go-to fragrances for the work week. Where I live it gets to be over 100 degrees for more parts of the year than I care for. This is a fragrance that I can wear when the weather’s that unforgiving without worrying that my scent is going to cook into something that smells too strong and offensive. And yes, this sounds like a silly little superficial comment — but the bottle sure looks pretty on my dressing table!

Got this for a steal at Marshalls. A blind buy that absolutely did not disappoint! I am considering this as a summer signature. Beautiful, clean, sparkling orange blossom, honey in the background and a tiny bit of rose. Great longevity and sillage for EDT. Can’t quit smelling my arm!! Just lovely!

  49. :

    5 out of 5

This is a sparkling and truly beautiful scent! It’s unbelievably long lasting for a EDT and works just as good layered with Elie Saab EDP as on its own. It’s got just the right amount of sweetness as well as it’s dewy fresh and effervescent like honeyed champagne. You can’t help but feeling beautiful and classy when wearing Elie. If I HAD to choose I would go for the EDP because it’s deeper, but they are both stunning and different enough so that you can justify owning both. A classic!
    + my boyfriend LOVES this!

  50. :

This scent just screams sexy, it’s one of those fragrances who can ‘say’ it without having a musky undertone or a sensual vanilla in there. The flowers have been blended beautifully, it’s such a beautiful fresh smelling scent, the honey is somewhat detectable but I really think the orange blossom flower makes the perfume. It’s absolutely divine. The projection is amazing too!

  51. :

    3 out of 5

Effervescent, sweet, elegant white floral, like a chilled glass of Riesling on a sunny afternoon. Mandarin and orange blossoms lend a slight tartness that keeps the honey from being too sweet (although this is overall a very sweet scent, it remains fresh). Sillage is decent, as the top notes are a bit high-pitched, but it mellows out quickly. Longevity is short to moderate. The bottle is beautiful–the refracted light captures the luminosity of this bubbly scent.

  52. :

Blind buy and thank God I love it! Nothing wrong at all with it, just soft fem fresh perfume, nothing synthetic on this one…lovely. I got the purse size with refills and it is a very clever little bottle that when you twist it’s cap, it goes down and becomes compact. All great!

  53. :

I was recently given a free sample of this when buying something else.
To me this smells like a mix between Neroli Portofino by Tom Ford (citrus flowers), Petit Guerlain (honey), and something from Narciso Rodriguez (musk).
A simple, but nonetheless lovely white floral.
Absolutely decent sillage and staying power.
I don’t really get much, (if any) gardenia, rose or vetiver from it though.
I guess this means the notes must be well blended!
Thumbs up from me for this one!

There are some perfume brands which make me fall in love and I just must get them all, doesn’t matter, if I already have one version of the scent. And Elie Saab is one of those brands (along with TM Alien, Feeries by Van Cleef & Arpels etc.). First I bought Elie Saab Le parfum EdP, then Couture, then Intense, but I still kept dreaming of EdT (just tried to convince myself not to buy, because of all the Saabs I already have). But I couldn’t resist anymore… And I’m happy!
Of course, the perfume keeps the original vibe, all that sweet honey and aromatic flower melody, but the EdT has its own personality (let’s say so) too. It opens with a fresh, even citrus hug. I was ready to swear there was a bit of a juicy orange present (and then I red about the mandarin blossom). And this mandarin blossom is gorgeous! It makes the scent more summer friendly, fresher, more transparent, slightly bitter too. A bit of juiciness to all that delicious, thick honey composition. I think this perfume is also milder, maybe even more feminine than EdP, if that’s possible (there’s no patchouli, no cedar in it, but more flower notes).
It reminds me a warm, calm summer evening after a really hot and sunny day. The flowers are smelling more intense, the wind is waking up, the last sun rays are caressing my skin and the night is coming and releasing all my desires…

Aside from the EDP, this is my hands-down-full-stop favourite EDT of all time. Even when up against Elizabeth Taylor’s Diamonds and Sapphires (my spring-summer everyday) and Elizabeth and James’ Nirvana Black (my Year-Round, anyday-everyday), this comes out on top. I have been obsessed with it since I recieved a sample back in 2011 at the launch of the first Sephora store in my province. I’ve wanted, no, LUSTED after this ever since. And I finally got it about a month ago for $50 at Marshalls (a STEAL!) and I admit I love it as much now as I did then, I am almost terrified to wear it and use it up, but I know if I don’t it’s going to go off (the sample I got in 2011 went off in about 3 years). Utterly recommend it to anyone who is serious about their scents. Or someone who wants a perfume that seems to almost smell like a story. This would be a perfect scent for a wedding or anniversary or any really *special* occasion. But for now, I’ll stick to spraying it when I’m home alone and can’t choke anyone out with it.

Two things stand out in my mind when I wear this:
1- when you really love something, it’s hard to describe it. The notes, the feeling, the admiration. I can’t describe this too well beyond that I love it.
2- some perfumes smell like clean, out of the package toilet paper. I read this somewhere here as a review of I forget which fragrance. So weird, right? But I get a hint of that in this, my summer signature. Clean, uplifting and soft (but not mushy!).
When I had samples of this and the EDP, I sprayed one on each arm and had my darling sister and my loving husband smell and tell me which one they liked best, if at all. My sister gasped and said “that is your signature!” when she smelled the EDT. My husband agreed it was the better of the two. I was hoping for the EDP, in theory, because it has the stronger honey note, at least in the description and votes here. But it is true that this dries down to an even more complex scent than the EDP which remains quite linear on me. And a surprise to me is that I think the Rose is more pronounced in this EDT form. I crave it. Even if I use a different scent for the day, I always spray this in the evenings, just for me. It makes me happy, and it relaxes me. I never want to be without it. (I doubt if I’ll even say that whole toilet paper bit to anyone else, but hope it’s understood here, lol!).

I like this one. At least I do so far. It’s light and a bit sweet, but I think I can also smell the flowers. I think it’s a safe work-scent. I am also trying out La Petite Robe Noire on my other arm, and whereas Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire is heavy and dark (a bit masculine to me), I think Elie Saab Le Parfum Eau de Toilette is light and feminine.

This is no EdP orgasmic honey-jasmine, but nevertheless it is a light echo of it. It’s not so sweet–it’s orange flowers in a nice and classic base. This signorina is more demure and carefree, more wearable and less sexually charged then the EdP. I bought it as a purse spray with perfume refill bullets. This scent is classic and distinct without being objectionable. She is smiling italian woman in expensive shoes. Orange flower is the star here, far surpassing any and every other note by intensity and longevity.

I’m not hugely into florals (except Miss Dior EDP), but this is very nice. I can’t see myself buying or wearing it, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves florals. The dry down is especially nice.

After my holiday in Italy I loved the smell of fresh orange blossom. Searching for fragrance reminding me of the Orange trees in Italy I found Elie Saab EDT and I love it. It is so femine, fresh and long lasting that I still (after 4 days) could smell it on the paper. It is exactly what I was looking for – fresh orange blossom mixed with mandarine blossom and a little honey sweetness. Perfect for spring and summer.

The glamour of authentic middle eastern notes. Not oriental! Purely Middle eastern. This is how the garden of a wealthy Arabic family would linger in the soft air.

Bride in a bottle!…Elie Saab EDP has been on my want list forever and while recently in UK I bought this one at TK Maxx… I was a bit worried about it being EDT but was very surprised it holds its own…my skin usually drink in perfumes and I wear some heavy hitters…this keeps sending wisps of fragrance up to tickle my nose all day. The first minute or two it is a bit sharp but quickly it settles down and is a breathtakingly beautiful blend of mandarin and orange blossom but still tempered with woody notes and smoothed with honey. The gardenia adds a classy backbone to the scent as the day goes on….when someone hugs you they will swoon. Love it!

My personal favourite from Saab. The EDT is just so pretty and feminine.
On my skin, the perfume begins harshly, until a beautiful sparkling fizzy orange blossom emerges that’s been very well-blended with the lovely sweetness from the honey. It’s very refreshing and never cloying. The scent then becomes smoother, creamier and fresher, which I think is the gardenia and finishes with a wonderfully soft dry-down. And patchouli haters rejoice – for there is none in this composition 🙂
Gorgeous floral sillage that’s soft to moderate in strength; lasts for about 4-5 hours. I think that this perfume is ideal for a hot country, although I personally can’t wait to wear it all year round 🙂
UPDATE: Sadly, with repeat wearings this one has developed into something a little plasticky, that reminds me of play-doh. This won’t be a purchase for me 🙁

It’s nice, I had a strap and that smell lasted about 2 months, very nice but I would not buy it just because, that this smell doesn’t fit my personality.

Does anyone remember Knights Castile soap? That’s what this smells of.
