A slightly bitter opening. The spices meld nicely and continue throughout. A light fragrance sits close to the skin.

The lemon citrus in here is nice, but it has too much nutmeg spice forcing an imbalance.
Actually, I found it very similar to Durbano’s Citrine with a peculiar woodchippy rosewood feel that offset the citrus from being ‘snug’ and ‘safe’ because they weren’t implemented very smoothly the way sandalwood is most of the time.
The ginger also may have contributed to the spicy-foody pricklyness, sadly it ended up as a big disappointment as I was looking for something much smoother/warmer but still having lemons on the top.
I think maybe vanilla was much needed here to add a powdery creamyness to make things more appealing and mainstream. And had the amber also been a main note, maybe it would have smoothed out the spicier accords much more.
Olfactive studio’s Still Life or Allure Homme Blanche is still head and shoulders above the rest in this category for me implementing all that’s best of lemons/citrus, amber and hint of green effects (pine) while instead of opting for the ‘clashing’ effect of spices takes an equally risky ploy of incense – and totally succeeds.
But all in all, it’s basically a Citrine identikit; category: Offset spicy citrus.
Disappointing.
Scent: 5/10.
Quality: 9/10.

The beginning reminds me of Theorema Fendi, due to the big amount of summery lemon and nutmeg. Unfortunately lasts only 4 hours on my skin and is gone.
