I just found this on e-bay for a very reasonable price, and since I love everything Louis Féraud ever designed, I took the plunge to try this scent. On me, to start with, it seemed so light that I could barely smell it. So I sprayed on lots. Then, as it warmed on my skin the woody notes mixed with the lighter floral notes, esp. peony. Very refreshing and charming. It does much better on me in warm weather. Looking forward to some balmy evenings in late spring and summer to enjoy envelopping myself in this veil of loveliness!

i do smell some similarities with the ” L´feu d´issey” from Issey Miyake. This is a spicy-sweet perfume. Quite a lot of pepper inside it, but i like it in a small doses and for the short time. A very dominant bergamot note in the opening, unlike int the original “parfum de Sens” from Feraud. Then it transforms into spicy-peony-fresh scent. For me the drydown is the best part: woodsy-spicy-fresh. Really nice.
I would like to wear it during spring and even better during autumn. This is rich and deep fragrance, with a great peony note that makes a good company to the peppers.
Nice but not favorite. At least it is not a common scent which i really appreciate.
And also a good lasting power.
