I kept buying this circa 2006 until they discontinued it …I went through quite a bit. After searching through hoards of honey perfumes for the sake of both pleasure and nostalgia, a few of which came semi-close, I finally found a room spray that is IDENTICAL to this. Brings me right back …so calming, so serene, so light!

This is indeed more of a body mist than a perfume. It’s alcohol free and is basically water. However I find the transparency and lightness is part of what makes this perfume a refreshing delight. The fragrance is more of a sparkly lilac with its natural honeyed aspects accentuated. Not many scents have succeeded in making honey so very fresh and reminiscent of spring. Even other white floral-honey perfumes can be too heavy or sweet, not this one. I want to bathe in this wonderful water. It’s youthful, nostalgic, transaprent, dewy, refreshing, naturally sweet, lovely.

This is the most beautiful, calming, serene, happy, childhood memories bringing smell. If only it lasted longer!
However it’s so beautiful I could cry.

I was/am so attached to miel – why they always discontinue the best fragrances, I will never know.

Sweet honey with nondescript scents probably some vanilla. It’s a honeycomb beeswax and honey combination but not too strong, more like a honeyed dessert. You might also compare it to honey scented hand soap. Sweet and delicious. It’s too bad it’s been discontinued.

Silly me, I never knew this was to be used as perfume. I purchased this when my son was a baby and used it to freshen his bed linens and blankets! It has a beautiful light floral and sweet, honey scent to it. I just recently found half a bottle of this shoved to the back of my other linen sprays and essential oils, so imagine my surprise to find it on here. Yippie, yippe, joy, joy!

Step out of the bath, spray the delicious honey water all over your body,,,.remove the silver pin from your hair ….and let the elixir of the bee’s float into your tresses.
Wrap yourself in your softest robe…….a cup of hibiscus tea waiting on your night table.
If ever a scent was made to wear to bed, …..a fragrance you wear just for you. This is the one and only!
It’s a little something you do alone, that makes you feel light and beautiful …like your favorite silk camisole, that only you know you are wearing under a sweater you borrowed from “him”.
A true feminine ritual, one that I truly miss.
Like a faithful lover, that one day evaporates into thin air…….
Like a thief in the night L’Occitane took him away…..never to return.

I truly loved this fragrance. I loved it so much that I wore it on my wedding day – it’s a sweet, simple, innocent fragrance. It was VERY light and didn’t last long, but if you were close to the person wearing it, you could smell it. I miss this one!

Lovely single note honey fragrance but so LIGHT. And you can’t find it anymore which makes me sad. I don’t even wear it now, just use it to spray a light bulb if the room smells bad 🙂 So innocent it would be a good first scent for teens.

This is one of my favourite light, cosy scents. Just beautiful! I smell powdery sweet honey, blossoms warmed by the sun, heliotrope flowers, and alyssum.

I bought a bottle of this five years ago. I am very picky about scents, but I distinctly remember testing it at the store and falling in love! I still have the bottle, but now there is only about a millimeter left. So sad to hear it has been discontinued. I have not found anything else that has the same delicate qualities as this scent has.

I have enjoyed my bottle, and now it’s almost to the end … very soft, pure, and light honey. It’s a pale golden kind of scent. Like, you walk by and someone thinks, “do I smell a slight breeze of honey around here?”
It doesn’t last long, but that’s because it’s very delicate.
Sweet but not cloying at all.
    Bye, honey.

Smell like honey, honey & honey! Yes, real honey in the honey pot scent. It’s so shame that L’Occitane decided to discontinue it. It’s one of the lovely scent in the world & the packaging (box & bottle) is the best I ever seen. I have last bottle so I use it not so often as I can’t buy it anymore. T T

This is one of the best honey fragrances I have encountered in an extremely long time. It’s got a touch of sweetness but not overly sweet. It reminds me of creamed honey. Not the sticky store honey with the sweetness that almost screams “please add lemon!”, but the creamy kind in the gourmet specialty stores that says “aaaahhh, this is the good stuff”. It makes you want to just bathe in it because it feels so special. If you want a honey fragrance and you can get a hold of this one. Go for it! You will be proud of yourself that you did.

I just found this in the back of my bathroom cabinet; I had worn it years ago & had forgotten about it. It’s a shame it was discontinued, because it had such a lovely fragrance. Light, but with a lot of staying power, perhaps because it is alcohol-free. Best of all, it still smells great, and the bottle is about 2/3 full.

A nice light honey scent. It was meant to be a children’s scent. Unfortunately discontinued like the complete Miel Range. Why????

One of the loveliest scents in the world. The skin cream was an absolute godsend , gentle, cool, kind and utterly moisturising, leaving behind the unique fragrance of Eau de Miel. The fragrance itself has absolutely no longevity or sillage, which is a great shame, as it would be so good to share with a stranger or two. I have had the good fortune to attract a chap who practically superglued his nose to my shoulder to continue experiencing this lovely fragrance and let slip a desire to have at me with a spoon, so I suppose it does what it says on the tin. Oh to have it back again! 🙁

Something in this perfume reminds me “soap”. It´s very good and the box (cup of ice cream) is so wonderfull!!

100% Honey. I have a bottle but wore it more when my kids were little. It smells like alyssum, of course, and I LOVE alyssum.

they discontinued everything that has to do with bees because of the declining population. Peta was down their throats.

Like to spray it on my hair! But with a light hand, otherwise the hair becomes a slicky mess!
    It’s a pity it’s discontinued.

I bought mine today at L’Occitane shop here in Rio de Janeiro. I asked the girl at the shop if it was going to be discontinuated and she confirmed the information. Lucky me that I got my bottle. Just in case, I bought a second one, that is still untouched.
And I have to say, the box is so cute!!!
A very light fragrance, the smell of honey is delightful: Sweetness and tenderness are words that matches.
I figure this like “honey water bottled”, the smell is very natural.
Being an alcohol free, the sensation on the skin is strange: the liquid is sticky, but the sensation is over once it dries on the skin.
When I used Eau de Miel I sometimes spray some on my hair (the text on the box says that it can be done), but it gets a little fizzy. Guess its the price I have to pay to smell good (lol).

I would really like to buy it, but at the moment I don’t have enough money. I love almost every l’Occitane product…it’s a pity that they are so expensive.

It’s non-alcohol scent. Children could use it as well as adults. Very tender sweet honey scent, I prefer Honey and Lemon edition. Suitable for summer, like a compromise to an older sister (honey and lemon edition).

Hmm at least for me it seems to be very lasting and yes very strong honey smell.
