Description

Designer duo Dolce & Gabbana launched their first perfume Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme in 1992, followed by its male equivalent Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme in 1994. Rich floral character of the feminine edition and aromatic – fougere for the masculine one, this perfume pair marked the decade of the nineties. In 2012, the designers have decided to “return to the roots” and to re-launch the two fragrances.

“It’s not so much a reedition as it is a fine-tuning,” said Gabbana to wwd magazine. “We altered the bottles a bit.…There has been an evolution [of the brand] since the Nineties, Domenico and I were much younger then — we’ve really matured a lot.”

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme reedition is of aromatic, dry and floral character and opens with notes of tangerine, bergamot and neroli. The heart consists of lavender, sage and pepper and the base includes tobacco, cedar and tonka accords.

The advertising campaign is shot by Mario Testino in Sicily with famous models Laetitia Casta and Noah Mills. The fragrances are available from July 2012 – as 40, 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette for men.

Baby powder to my nose. Comforting scent. lavender heavy and tobacco in the back.

I have no experience with any batch of D&G Pour Homme before 2012.
Although other reviewers mention the citruses and tobacco as being the major players, oddly enough, this comes off more floral to my nose. The lavender and neroli are the stars of the show. I barely get any pepper, and while the citrus is definitely there, all of that subsides quickly.
What you are left with is a gorgeous soapy floral fragrance. I could compare it to other neroli based fragrances like Neroli Portofino Forte or even Dunhill Icon, but it takes a different turn. Rather than being bright and tangy, this is far more soft and creamy, like a luxury bar of soap.
I am a big fan of these types of fragrances, especially for the office or casual wear. However, I do have other soapy frags that are superior, like Mugler Cologne, Prada Infusion Domme, and Prada Amber Pour Homme. What this has going for it though is the floral element, which has this air of innocence and calm, unlike so many other fresh soapy frags, which tend to either be zesty or sporty.
The sillage and longevity are nothing to write home about. It gets close to the skin after about the hour mark and lasts 3-4 hours after that. However, if you spray it on clothing, it lasts quite a bit longer and has a fresh out of the dryer quality.
I give it a solid 7.5/10. Well worth having as part of your collection if you like smelling fresh and clean.

@fauzyzacky – You can not have a 2010 bottle of a 2012 fragrance. You should post your review under Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme (1994).

This one surprised me! My brother gave this to me and I kinda of just put it to the side as I looked at the notes and saw citrus. Citrus just doesn’t play well with my body. Guess I’m already sour enough! Well, I was getting ready to go to bed and figured what the hell, I’ll try it and if I don’t like it, it’ll wear off overnight. The opening was exactly what I don’t like, citrusy. But, it wasn’t overkill citrusy so it wasn’t bad. The dry down though was really quite nice! It’s a sweet tobacco scent that I am really enjoying. I’ll be wearing this more now. Pleasantly surprised.

Another example of how reformulation is exaggerated by reviewers. I have a UK bottle and subsequently bought an Italy made version due to the reviews by some Youtubers scrutinising the current formulation. There is a subtle difference, but nowhere near how these reviewers put them. Performance-wise both versions are not that great and as for the scent, there is a little bit more depth in the vintage version in the beginning, but after 15 minutes I can hardly tell a difference. A good scent after all – but not worth pursuing the vintage version at all for its asking price. If performance ever were an issue, just bring a decant and reapply.

I have the UK version and it’s the only version that I’ve smelled.
Starts off with a powdery creamy airy lavender and unsweetened citrus combo. I notice the lavender way more than the citrus. This part of the scent stays throughout the experience while the Tonka and tobacco slow burn their way into the scene and add depth. I was in the car with my lady directly after I applied a heavy application and asked her opinion on it she said it smelled fresh but not powdery and she said it was smooth and enjoyable. I get lots of soapy powder but maybe it’s different for the wearer? Either way this scent gives off an occasional waft of fragrance as far as 8 hours into wearing it if you move the right way. Really pleasant in the heat and in air conditioned environments. My favorite part of the scent is when the tobacco and Tonka kick in it really gives the powdery freshness a sexier edge. You could wear this fragrance any way you want to and it will work other than bars, clubbing, or picking up girls for the night. This stuff smells more classy and family man vs sexy but there is a sexyness to it. In a t shirt I hit my chest all 4 sides of my neck and then a pump to the front of my shirt and it is still inoffensive. With this being so popular I expected one note to really pop and stand out but this stuff is really well blended nothing ever really pops at any point just a nice soft scent where everything works together. This is not a “damn you smell good” scent this is a “what is that it’s nice” scent. I’ll definitely get my use out of it at work year round as I feel that’s where it’s best suited. I got a 75 ml for $20 from a local guy around me couldn’t pass it up and happy to have it.
    Update:
two sprays to the chest of shirt two sprays to each shoulder of shirt and two sprays to back of the neck gets me about 2 1/2 to 3 hours of great uncloying performance which dries down to a very solid moderate scent bubble for another 6 or so hours. I got the tip from a review I read on this scent somewhere and it works great. Tried it with Pure Havane and it works great for that scent as well. I’d never try this method with most scents but for your softer more natural smelling scents I highly advise you try it!

    First thoughts after testing in a store;
This is not a bad scent at all, in fact it’s quite nice but…
…it’s to my nose rather different to the original which was a sillage & projection beast!! This one just seems far more reigned-in, some would say bland or safe. Original was just stronger in every department with a beautifully powerful lemon note and more tobacco in the dry-down.
After an hour or so there are more nods to the original, more than in the opening in my opinion. Two nice scents but really they are not identical twins, more like cousins, or half brothers perhaps and I much prefer the older release, one of my best buys of all-time, wish I could find something closer to that!

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme is one of the first fragrances I owned. It is incredibly versatile and one of the two fragrances I will reach for when I’m in a hurry and don’t have time to think about my cologne; it’s old reliable and a dumb-reach.
Does this scent wow me and others? Yes in that it is an outstanding excellent citrus-floral-woodsy scent and it’s one of the few colognes that you’ll feel comfortable wearing in any setting and at any age; from getting married to being buried…and everything in between. No, it’s a tad-bit cologney and may not be well loved by those just like the sweetie-freshies.
The performance is solid in that projects moderately (which is fine for this type of fragrance) and it lasts on my skin for 7-8 hours so I’m good from dusk ’till dawn. A must have! The more I wear the more I love this fragrance. It’s a timeless gentleman’s aromatic fougere. While I greatly prefer the original Made in Italy release, both the Germany and UK versions are quite good to me…just brighter and don’t perform as well.

Today I bought 75 ml of the UK version for nostalgia reasons as the new one which is for sale has clear liquid and slightly different feeling. I like very much the UK version because it’s full with tobacco which I love. Beautiful scent..

Laundry detergent that’s what I get from this. I have the germany bottle. Lots of lavender with some citrus and tobbacco. moderate longevity don’t know about projection I never spray enough to garner compliments or complaints just enough for me to enjoy.

I saw this scent with almost white transparent liquid so I’ve tried. I remember it with yellow colored liquid.
Well, it looks like very much like the old version, in the air is the same smell but from up close there are minor differences which make it worthless of buying it if you have experience with the first and the second reformulated version.
The biggest difference is the nice tobacco note which is more toned down in comparison to the yellow colored liquid. This was the only reason for me to buy it. The new smells nice, has more lavender and smoother/lighter tobacco note, it’s almost the same but it’s not for me anymore. Low-moderate performance overall.
I’ll try to find the previous yellow version (it’s easy here) to shape better opinion.

First the facts, there are three types of D&G pour homme. First the vintage, made in Italy, then the reformulation, Made in Germany and finally the re-reformulation Made in Uk, France, etc. My review is for the Made in Germany frag which has the bottle cap similar to the vintage.
The scent is divine, a definitive masculine scent, from the fresh citrus opening to the tobacco/ woody dry down. However it is a minimalist fragrance at best, sits very close to the skin with non-existent projection. Longevity max 3 hours. Maybe its a bad batch from 2012 don’t really know, but my high hopes were vaporized immediately….

I have had the opportunity to try the new formulation made in France, and how I know? Because was written “ made in France” my experience based on my vintage bottle 1994 made in Italy; it is different at beginning, I realized a little citrus but after one hour half it become closest the vintage but not equal because the tobacco note.
If you guys love the vintage the closest thing is Uomini boticario, this perfume is identical the vintage bottle with less longevity.
I have vintage bottle and I did tests with people and nobody could barely distinguish each other I sometimes was impress how it is identical.
You guys can find it at amazon, if you have any question let me know.

Probably my greatest fragrance I’ve ever had and ever will, well the 2000 version anyway. I have bought a vintage bottle with about 30ml left in and refuse to wear it unless I’m at a wedding. Liquid gold in my eyes, just wish they still made the original version instead of the new formulation.
Why fix something what hasn’t broke..?? I bought the newer bottle for my wedding day just under 4 years ago and soon as I opened it I was gutted it wasn’t the same scent, was very weak and bland.
The original is going for a lot of money now on EBay, Amazon, fragrancesamples etc. If they knew this they’d bring out the vintage version
    Vintage scent 10/10
    Projection 10/10
Longevity 7/10 but just reapply anyway

Of the 3 D&G (The One and Blue Light) that I tried in a store, this seemed like the most unique, aromatic-citric and less sweet-powdery of all, so I decided to purchase the set.
The fragrance came out immediately once the box was opened, inundating the room. I never tried the original formulation, but I really like this one: It’s very pleasant and both fresh & warm. It’s not overtly strong or overpowering, but it does linger in a soothing way; specially in closed spaces. Think “calmly delicious”, but noticeable for sure.
It takes some time to fully dry out in the skin, which is good, because I love the initial notes the most. Once it does, it’s projection is reduced to a 20-30 cms around your skin and it last for around 7 hrs.
Haven’t fully tried it yet (in clothes), but it probably will become my signature scent. I would not recommend it for very young persons, though: It’s neither strident/sharp, nor a sport type, much less a “show off” one. But I do think it would work fine in most situations, since it’s a mix of classic/formal style, yet a bit carefree.
The fact that it does not have many copycats, and it’s definitively not common here (Latin country), it’s a major plus.
The set looks posh and the crystal bottle has a vintage feel. The gels were made in Germany, while the proper fragrance is from UK (2016). The sticker says that it has a life-limit-after-opening of 36 M, which would be 3 years.

2 months ago I decided to buy dolce gabanna pour homme, the scent of my youth in the 90‘s.
Since then I probably had only 2 bottles of the reformulated ones.
As a ordinary fragrance buyer I would never thought that something called as reformulation even exist.
But every time I sniffed the sample in the store something was not right. It was not like the scent from the end of the 90’s, beg. 00’s, so I refused to buy this perfume.
Nevertheless, 2 months ago the nostalgia grabbed me and I decided to buy the reformulated one, accepting the downgrade.
The shipment arrived from a german online retailer.
After a couple of days using it, I started to ask myself how the hell did I experience a complete different smell with the testing bottles in shops for the last 15 years, as mine was scent vise completely the same as the original from the 90’s.
I knew there was a german and uk version as I read it on fragrantica. Took my bottle to read it up and was surprised, it was not made in germany, nor UK or Italy.
It was made in FRANCE!! Longevity and projection very good. 100% satisfied.

Never smelt the original formulation, but the US reformulation smells mighty nice! Pour Homme and Light Blue are the best releases from D&G.

I have the UK version. Yes they changed it.
At least they came out and said it!!
It is spicier yes..the top notes are not nice
After 30 minutes it smells wonderful..like the vintage. I remember how gaudy and monstrous the original was. Everyone can cry over the “new” version. More for me!

  20. :

    4 out of 5

The good and bad about both. I like the fresh spicy of the reformulation. But the reformulation doesn’t have the longevity of the vintage. I still prefer the reformulation. They made the scent better IMO. I dont feel either have an amazing project.

This fragrance can be found on eBay for 30 bucks and with that being said this is the best cheapie on the market right now,and don’t listen to that reformulation b.s. it’s a great scent that last 8 plus hours,i would advise to blind buy this,a solid 9/10

  22. :

    5 out of 5

I see quite a few people have been commenting that there is no big difference between the reformulations of this fragrance so I have to say that that is simply not true! Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme has had very substantial reformulations! The original “Made in Italy” formula is quite different from the following “Made in Germany” & “Made in UK” formulas which are not actually that different from each other.. With that said there is now a new “Made in France” formula which some have said is new & improved, yet I have not had the chance to try out this new juice yet which is why I am calling on anyone who has tried the new “Made in France” juice to let us all know how it compares to previous formulas! Thanks..

Ok original versus reformation. Who is going to notice the difference accept for us frangrance-heads??? So either way we are winning because this frangrance is just to close in either era. It’s good and unique. However, I prefer the new reformulation because its a tad spicier. Which gives me a good winter sweet, spicy, green, and unique frangrance. And I don’t notice this fragrance on many men. This is my next frangrance.

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme is now being “Made in France”.. There is a rumor going around that there has been another reformulation & supposedly the new “Made in France” juice is better than the previous “Made in UK” juice.. Some have said that this new juice is closer to the original fragrance from the 90’s.. If any of you guys have tried out the newest “Made in France” bottles than please update us so we know if there is any truth to these rumors..

  25. :

    5 out of 5

There is no obvious difference between old and new….just the people who always judge the reformulations so badly. Is the same scent and if there was no internet, no one would noticed anything bwtween the two.

  26. :

    5 out of 5

Great one. Best thing about it is it’s versatility. You can wear it anywhere at any time, in suit or casual clothes. I wear this one in the gym sometimes. Clean, classy and inoffensive. What else do you need ?

  27. :

    3 out of 5

There’s a lot of heated reformulation debate about Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme. I owned an original bottle in the 90s with the sticker and wore it for several years.
My 2016 UK bottle smells identical to my nose and I get 8-12 hours out of it. So if you were a fan of the original at least give the new juice a try, not everyone is disappointed in it. I actually like the new bottle better as well, I was never a fan of the sticker label on the old one.
Back then the scent was a ‘like’ for me and not love and it still is. The lemon/top notes in this are a little harsh and took some getting used to for me. It’s one that I get a craving for every once in a while but I don’t wear it very often.

  28. :

    5 out of 5

This is a good fragrance. I had to let it grow on me because it was not what I was looking for. But once I got my scent bias out the way I have to admit this scent is top shelf for the price. I wish I was matured enough in fragrances to speak to each individual ingredients. But I will say this fragrance is very well blended and smooth with no chemical vibe in the background. This is a unique fresh spicy green fragrance that plays team ball with all its other ingredients. It seems to move the dominant ingredients around.
It takes you on a high of a unique fresh spicy green, but once you get to the top, it smooths it out with the other ingredients, that play so well together. This is a great experience.

Very nice scent. Very versatile i guess for many occassions. Opening very nice and immediately you can smell the citrusy notes. Lavender also very notiveable in the opening. During drydown one can easily smell the tobacco , which by then remembered me very clearly of the dolce gabbana intenso. Sillage is moderate and also got complimented by it. Performance is moderate. All in all this is a very nice fragrance especially for everyday use. Rating 7.5/ 10

  30. :

    3 out of 5

It’s sad see this formulation, compared with the Italy bottle indisputable, less projection, longevity, weaker, citrus and not too tasteful as the old formulation as an alternative go by uomini from boticario at least it has the same smell of course not the same longevity such as 11 to 12 hours but perhaps you will find such as 8 to 9 hours with 2 good hours in projection until become a skin scent.

  31. :

Just a great overall and versatile scent. This is my go-to, don’t-want-to-think-too-hard, scent for most occasions. Classy and fun. There aren’t too many situations this won’t do you well with.

Got my bottle today, UK version
Use it at the cold night here in tokyo i have no problem talking about projection and longevity it is a good blind buy for me. Smells like a fine bar of soap fresh and clean easy to wear imagining that your getting out of the shower without rinsing your body soap

    Dear all,
    Please hands down!
I never owned this one but, when I can, I like to test it and I always have to admit that this is a great scent.
Without any doubt, this has been conceived for a real MAN ! (for that reason now this fragrance doesn’t have a lot of success).
Smooth and strong at the same time, the tobacco here is so well balanced with the other ingredients and the performance is good.
To sum up: for over 25 MAN only; is not sexy is just GOOD; ideal with a suit.
    Overall: 8/10
PS: if you don’t have enough money on the market you have a decent Pull&Bear replica but please take into proper account that the quality is far away from the original one.

  35. :

Definitely not a scent for men…For women only tbh. It smells very comfortable and smooth. It feels like you just showered and still have slightly smell from the soap. This would be a perfect scent for women at night.

    4 out of 5

This is my first review on fragrantica.com so I thought what better place to start than with my first signature scent.
I first wore this fragrance back in 1997 and I’ve been wearing it ever since. It was my signature scent for almost 10 years!
Despite the reformulation Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme remains an outstanding fragrance and has rightly become a classic.
I think the main difference between the original and the reformulated versions is performance with some other minor differences. It’s essentially the same.
The opening is very zesty and citrusy with a little spiciness with notes of cedar peeping through. Bergamot, neroli and lavender are present. As it dried down the tonka bean and cedar come through more strongly. With the tobacco note it becomes very sultry and sexy but never cloying.
As I mentioned before the dry down is less forward with the reformulated version – you get less of the sultriness and more of the citrus and spice. A bit of a shame but it remains a classic and I’ll always have it in my collection.
I think it suits older guys more although I started wearing it when I was 22. Ok for the office but great worn at night. I take it on holiday to Thailand it’s just right for an early evening stroll along the beach and then a meal.
    Performance (reformulated version)
    Moderate longevity: 5
    Moderate sillage: 5
The scent: One of the best out there 9/10
Overall: A true classic but has lost it’s edge with reformulation. Performance has suffered also.
    8/10

    reformulated version:
Wonderful, safe and very versatile scent, but unfortunately doesn’t last too long, and doesn’t have outsatanding sillage. I am a little bit suprised when I see that most of the voters voted for this is a 4 four season scent… I think it’s perfect for late spring / summer / early autumn, but too lemony and calm to use in winter time. As I mentioned, the scent is so wonderful, great combination of citruses-lavender-tobacco and tonka. The opening is a little bit boring (but very good) citruses with a hint of neroli, but the mid notes and the drydown is amazing. 15-20 minutes after the opening the perfume become a very pleasent, the lavender dominates with a hint of pepper, and later arrives a tobacco with the tonka bean. And here is the reason why not good this scent in cold weather: the drydown is very similar to Davidoff Cool Water! If the perfume has stronger sillage and lasting power it will be perfect, but hell, I still love it! As most of the reformulated scents this one is also lost all of his power.
    – spring/summer/autumn day/nighttime scent, very versatile
    – Sillage and longevity bit better than average, longevity around 6 hours
    – Safe blind buy
    Scent (open. top-mid): 8.5/10 (x2)
    Scent (drydown, base): 9/10 (x2)
    Sillage: 6/10
    Longevity: 6/10
    Uniqueness: 8/10
    Versatility: 9/10
    Total: 8.0/10

i have an acquaintance i see from time to time and he always wears some perfume which makes me want to discreetly suggest he should change.
one day i ask him what he wears and he says “well it’s the dark blue velvet gabbana”.
    i was literally shocked.
i remember this scent from the 90’s and it was a easily recognisable, beautifully soft, camomile-honey like scent. very naturally smelling also.
this modern reformulation is downright horrible.
i literally can’t stand it on him. it smells urinal and completely synthetic.
then i went to perfumery to check it from the sample and – voila – that’s the same smell i was getting every time i see him.
this should be displayed directly in a museum of reformulation horrors.

Not sure if I am just imagining this but the latest Made in France version smells much better than the UK version. Silage and longevity have also improved. Ik was so impressed that I purchased it.
One of my all time loves, a very comforting citrus lavender.

  40. :

    5 out of 5

This is for the Made in Italy version. A classic, slightly sharp, masculine scent. Lavender dominates the top with some citrus. Tobacco and woods come through on the drydown. Definitely has a distinct, early 90s manliness to it. Once likely a solid daily scent, I think it’s more for the evening and date night today. The newer version has more citrus and feels more modern and is a better daily scent.
Longevity is average on my skin (5-7 hours) with good projection for a few hours.
An 8.0/10 for me. Classy, elegant and not impossible to find. I got mine for $45 on eBay not too long ago.

I love this on my hubby. Giving me peace. I think becouse of the linden scent. Why its writing sage?! I drink both sage and linden tea all winter. And i’m pretty sure its not sage. I’m writing this right after the first sip of my linden tea. Because the smell reminded me that parfume.
    Does anybody thinks its linden?

I grew up with the original Made in Italy version of D&G Pour Homme. Got my first bottle in the late 90s. I remember around 1999, a girl was giving me a haircut and asked what cologne I was wearing. I told her it was D&G and her only comment was, “Hmmm… It’s… strong.” I think I had used two sprays earlier in the day.
When you are in your teens or 20s, you may want to announce your presence regardless of how little substance you bring to the table, and the original was definitely good at that. Now, I am older and hopefully wiser, and grateful for the toned down nature of the Made in UK formulation. The original DNA is still there, but at my age I want my words and actions to speak for me, not my scent.
    I applaud the reformulation.

At First I thought I love it…but now I’m trying to, this scent is just too clean and giving you a nice guy kind of vibe, I’m using it as an indoor scent and when I just want to stay home, read books, clean the the house and wash do the laundries then when my mom arrives from somewhere she will become very happy because she doesn’t need to do any house chores at all.

Too bad the lavender makes a bad impression in this rather great perfume. It could have smelled much more better without the lavender.

First, i did not like it in the beginning (uk version) but after several wearing i began to like it especially after the dry down which it converts to that dry, powdery, comforting, slightly sweet scent. Totally elegant, classic, mature, well putted scent.

Recently I’ve been trying to go through my collection of fragrances and wear a different one each day. It had been a while since I’ve worn Dolce & Gabbana Pour Homme. Today I kept smelling my shirt…thinking, what cheap fragrance does this remind me of!? Then it finally hit me! Reminds me of a lot of Deauville Blue by Michel Germain! I’ll have to compare the two later today and give an update…stay tuned.
    *****UPDATE*****
Yup. Very similar! Except that D&G Pour Homme stays strong while Michel Germain Deauville Bleu dries down to a really soft and light floral soapiness. I would definitely put both of these in the exact same category. I found my Deauville Bleu at Ross/Marshalls for somewhere in the $10 – $15 range for a 2.5 oz bottle. Definitely worth a try.

A really pleasant men frag suitable not only for summer but also for spring and fall in heavy winter would be weak.
I speak for the lattest version eau dr toilette made to uk.
The opening is really good the sillage is ok you walk and you enjoy it other people really like that smell they get only the last is poor after 2-3 hours is almost gonne,it stays to skin but the projection is almost zero i think D&G shoult work on it.
For casual daily use not so formal age from 25 to 45.
Don’t expect very masculine but for sure not also feminine it’s a good frag i believe nobody is gonna regret if choose it.
    scent: 10/10
    longevity: 5/10
sillage: 8/10 (for 2-3 hours after that is gonne)

Has anyone tested the new Made in France version? Any thoughts?

This was an instant favorite. I only know this current formulation. My bottle was made exactly one year ago.
I’m very happy with this refreshing, office-friendly, sophisticated juice with harmonious fire and music dancing around two of my favorite notes: cedar and tobacco. Lasts all day with moderate sillage and projection.
Bonuses are a classy, weighty bottle and a box with a velvet-like texture.
Why did I wait so long to try this?

This one has grown on me by leaps and bounds over the last two months since I have acquired it (I traded a buddy for some Gucci Guilty Black.)
I wish there was a way to give a +200 to the one note that you REALLY smell, because, in this case, it would be cedar. I can’t understand how cedar ranks so lowly in the fragrantica chart. It’s lower than tonka, which I get zero of. I sense some sweet vanilla, like vanilla ice cream, but not the raisin-nut bread with vanilla frosting smell of tonka.
Cedar, then sage. Then black pepper (which, to me, smells like sweet burnt rubber, which I rather like.) All tempered with lavender and neroli and mostly mandarin and lemon citrus notes (barely). Maybe a trace amount of cardamom, maybe a trace amount of sandalwood. There you have it.
And regarding tobacco – I know there are lots of different tobaccos out there. Mine is from Eden, and, based on my experience with what tobacco absolute smells like, it is merely an accent, not the #2 most prevalent note in this juice.
And regarding reformulations – just stop. You folks are like my dad going on and on and on about why Mickey Mantle was soooooo much better than Mike Trout… maybe he was, maybe he wasn’t — who knows, and who cares, because Mike Trout is pretty damn good, and he’s alive and playing tonight and probably going 3 for 5 with a homer and 3 RBIs.
And regarding those who say projection/ longevity is an issue – I think this one lasts a long, long time. Today I applied one spray each on chest, neck, right wrist, back of neck, and top of head, at around 8:15 am. At 12 pm, I was asking a woman at work (who runs the fine fragrance counter at Nordstrom), if she could smell me, because I could still smell myself and I was self-conscious about it. She said that I was good to go…. So, if I could still smell myself 4 hrs after application…. You be the judge what projection/ longevity is like.
Very classy, soft scent. I’ll keep it around I do believe.
EDIT – I just checked and this is the only fragrance I voted as being suitable for all four seasons, both day and night. So there’s that.
