Description

An opulent perfume for women, a perfume with unusual and magical components; a cold, strict and elegant fragrance for daily and office use. An energicetic wave of the top awaits you with the notes of green tomato leaves, red orange juice and cold vodka. The floral heart is composed of water lily, orchid and daffodil. The composition closes with the mild and pleasant notes of birch and tulip. DKNY Women was launched in 1999.

DKNY Women has been my summer signature for the past few years. Just a few sprays creates a cool, crisp bubble to guard against sweltering hot, humid days.
The tall, angular bottle looks like a modern skyscraper, and yes, the scent inside reminds me of a cool, shaded urban rooftop garden. It is citrus without sourness, aromatic green leafyness without an overly herbal or vegetal funk. The vodka note is prominent and adds a modern edge.
I have LOVED this perfume. It’s so refreshing, and has helped me survive the worst heat and humidity. Alas, I have to admit that both of my back-up bottles are now starting to turn. The top notes are off, and there’s a subtle “old-LILY” undertone, much like EL Pleasures smells when it turns. So here I will say farewell, and enjoy the last few good mls I have left. It’s a sad day.

I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I’m looking for the original formulation of this perfume. The one in the holographic packaging with “DKNY” on the cap and “WOMEN” discreetly on the lower part of the bottle. All I can find in the stores, is the reformulated version with “DKNY” in big letters across the bottle. If someone knows of s reputable online retailer, I’d appreciate it.

I’m totally confused by the DKNY Women Energizing & DKNY Women separate listings ! I have an EDT in a clear bottle (on the the box it says “energizing” & on the bottle it just says DKNY Women. Then I found a good deal on an EDP gift set. The EDP is in a frosted bottle – it also says just DKNY Women on the bottle but the matching body lotion says “energizing”, & so does the gift set box.The SA I bought the gift set from assured me it was the “original” DKNY Woman perfume. Also, the box pictured on THIS page actually does say “energizing” on it too!….Anyway, I’ve now come to the conclusion that Women & Women Energizing must actually be one & the same perfume.? Comparing the EDT & EDP with one on the back of each hand, I think the EDT may just be slightly more fresh/bitter in the top notes.
As for the scent itself, well it’s lovely (on me). I can’t add more than has already been said. Fresh but not sour/screechy citrus (I get mostly orange). It’s slightly sweet but manages to avoid the “fruit in syrup” effect . The tomato leaf & vodka provides a nice counter balance & adds a little bitterness & “bite”. It’s like a vodka & orange on ice. As the top notes fade it smells just fresh & clean. I don’t smell any leather, as it progresses it softens a lot & unfolds to more floral/green/woody. THEN I sprayed this on my son, on him it’s horrible. It smells like pungent sharp industrial strength cleaner, just as the negative reviews here describe it. It’s like a completely different perfume on him. So I believe in the the “skin chemistry” theory with this one, for sure!
This perfume probably wouldn’t appeal to those who like their fruits super sweet & sugary or with a gourmand twist (I don’t) – so for me a perfect fragrance for work.

To be completely super honest :
I’m the one who gave you a thumbs up to give you the ‘full balloon’ effect.
I was looking forward of blind buying it today for me , and thankfully tried it first .
Citrusy Toilet cleaner is about correct. It stayed like this the entire time.
Just didn’t click with my skin chemistry.
For the ones that have this dkny working out well…. enjoy !

It is summer where I live and I decided to pull this out again. I have the bottle that comes in that pretty holographic packaging and the bottle is frosted, says ‘DKNY’ on the lid and ‘Women’ on the bottle itself, just as the one pictured here. There is a newer formula that has DKNY in large letters that take up the whole bottle. I believe my current bottle is the same formula that was in 1999 and the early 2000’s when I first discovered it because it smells exactly as it did then and the lasting power is unbelievable. I’ve heard the reformulation in new packaging has been watered down, but what’s new?
Women is bright and the most energizing fragrance I have ever worn. I don’t even pay attention to the negative reviews because I know how great it is for me. It’s my go-to on extremely hot days and for the gym.
Smells like a glass of something sparking and cold, mostly citrus dominated which comes across as grapefruit to me. Tomato leaf gives it a bite of bitterness and the woods balance it well. Cassis adds a nice green touch. Unique and fresh and a long time love.

I have to defend this perfume as it’s gotten a lot of harsh reviews and I want it respresented by someone whose body chemistry agrees with it. This fragrance is so evocative, I had to avoid it for years after a breakup because I wore it with my ex-boyfriend’s sister. Oddly enough, I saw someone else said something similar.
I don’t smell dish detergent lemon or vodka. When I put this on, it smells like citrus sunblock and mellows into a freshly showered, zesty laundry scent. Completely fresh and devoid of artifical sweetness. If you don’t like cupcake scents or sweet dry-downs, this is ideal.
This is one of those perfumes that if you wear it enough, it literally becomes part of you. You start to sweat it and your clothes smell like it, your room smells like it. It eminates from me, it doesn’t just sit on my skin, nor does it choke people around me.
The staying power is excellent and certainly present in a commanding way, but isn’t so forceful that you’d ask what perfume it is. Instead I think a person would assume you burn this candle all over your house or do your laundry in it, or washed in some amazing soap. It just soaks into you and drifts outward. Truly intoxicating in a feminine, clean way. If you want to sweat excellence when taking the world on, sprtiz this.
    Cold, hard elegance indeed.

Years ago my neighbor came by to visit, I was all of 22 years old, she was 50 something, my windows were open. I caught a whiff of her perfume and almost fell over! The only way to describe it was intoxicating!!!!!!!!!!! I asked what it was and (after saving up) went to Dillard’s and bought my own bottle!!!!! To me it smelled “salty” and I can’t say the saltiness was a chemistry thing because it smelled that way on her AND on me!!!!!! I wore it faithfully for years. Seeing our age difference I would classify it as ageless. Very unique smell. Truly unforgettable

    Yeah! let’s explore the city!
Such a dynamic and exciting combo of mandarin orange and tomato leaf.
Fresh, oh so fresh and uplifting.
And there come the calming notes to the rescue, so we don’t loose our minds completely 😉 Cassia and waterlily keep us grounded so we can plan the day properly.
Dry-down is smooth, thanks to the sandalwood and jasmine, and helps us relax in the evening where we stay in that modern apartment, overviewing the city lights, resting after this exciting adventurous day.

This is the ultimate “kick-butt” summer perfume – crisp, cold (in a good way), clean but edgy and fun. Perfect for an office environment as it commands respect but is inoffensive. I would definitely wear it out on a summer night – its actually quite sexy and will make heads turn – no nonsense!

  11. :

The epitome of fresh and zesty, this scent is all hard edges and clean lines. This was my signature scent for 5 years, I adored the bright citrus notes especially in summer. There is not even a hint of warmth in this perfume, not that I could detect anyway, it starts as it means to go on…the drydown is as crisp as the top notes.
Somehow my skin chemistry has changed and this gorgeous scent now feels cloying and headache inducing so it is with a fond wave that we part company.
It truly is a unique perfume if it works with your own chemistry and with good projection and silage of about 5 or 6 hours it’s a gem of a scent. This would work for the office or a night out for those who don’t love all the sweet chocolatey scents that seem to be in fashion just now.

Citrusy. At times too strong on a hot, humid day. I love the scent of tomato leaves. Which is why I had this perfume. But its not quiet the tomato scent that I was looking for. Though this is definitely a unique scent. Not your usual mainstream fruity-floral-citrusy scent. A must try. Can be a signature.

I can totally feel the orange and lemon. Super fresh, perfect for those hot humid days. Good projection but not long lasting. It will really make you feel good though

How could I forget about it ?!
It’s one of my first, greatest fragrance of love!
Perfect combination of juicy oranges with bitter mandarin – broken with fresh, green tomato leaves.
For me,it is an explosion of happiness and energy.
Absolute refreshment for soul and body. It is optimistic and positive. When I have it on me – I’m smiling. It introduces me to a blissful mood, stimulates, rejuvenates, and above all raises my spirits. I really love it. Great for hot weather or a night out! It has very good lasting power and sillage.
    I want it again!

Smell that did not fall into my liking. I had a sample for a few months, I was trying to wear it in cold weather, rainy weather and April when it was first sun, and it smells the same in hot weather. Strong orange peel, such a reliable citrus. I do not feel on my skin amber, rose or any other similar.
So fans of oranges and citrus I recommend, I do not fit. Durability relatively good 5 hours.

Does anyone know if this is discontinued? I can’t seem to find it anywhere. I’m seeing the Energizing version but not this original. I wore this when I was 19 and 20, so I would like to have a bottle for olfactory memory trips.

  17. :

An opening of fruit and floral notes, a drydown of warm, earthy notes. This is a soft, comforting, creamy fragrance. Not overwhelming, it would be perfect for hot weather. A good anytime, anyplace “go to”.

  18. :

    4 out of 5

A very nice, aromatic scent for summer. Tomato leaf, orange and cassia are the most prominent notes.
What’s the best in DKNY Women is the longevity, 8+ hours on my skin, with the light sillage.
Fresh and elegant, it’s perfect for work.

  19. :

    4 out of 5

To me, DKNY Women is a great focus/energy scent. It’s just amazing. Fresh, green earthy, zesty. This gives me that laser-focus feeling. Not only a summer citrus for me. Great rainy scent; blends perfectly with the smell of rain.
It begins with this cool, herby-citrus edge. After that, it relaxes, but still keeps an edge. That’s it’s character. The smell of dirt/earth helps it stay grounded. The orange is prominent and so refreshing mixed in with that (tomato leaf) green earthy smell.
Then it gets softer, more clean soft flowers tiptoe in, but the initial character of the opening is still there. Yes, As it relaxes it gets a clean laundry vibe. The laundry of THE MOST INTERESTING WOMAN IN THE WORLD!
I am delighted that I found this. Its special. It’s a happy green energy smell- can’t help but love it.
Longevity is very good on me-just gets softer after 3-4 hours but still whispering with a soft, pretty dry down. Try this if you like earthy, quirky, citrus, crisp, laundry/clean scents!

Loved this at first smell when it came out in the 1990’s! And oddly enough grew an aversion to it following a break-up. He had to go — and so did the bottle!!
Time passed and luckily so did that aversion!!
And after a few years of searching (couldn’t find it ANYWHERE for a good minute), I scored a bottle of the wonderful juice at Perfumania’s Madison Square Garden location!!
SOOOO HAPPY!! JUST A SPRITZ MAKES ME SMILE LIKE THE CHESHIRE CAT!!! That beautiful, fresh, green, sweet, and clean summer favorite of mine!! We’re back baby! I’ve missed you!!

it is by far my most beloved fragrance; since 2001 l have in my collection and once and awhile l change to another perfume in order to keep my nose accurate; otherwise l would constantly wear this fragrance. For me, it is more than a nice perfume, it has a positive therapeutic effect.

This perfume is for me absolutely great, it’s my signature! I bought it at the end of 90ties and since then i love it. It’s like a refreshing shower in hot days, very clean, light and sparkling. Citruses, vodka, tomato leafs, what a great combination!

It is a happy green scent. Crispy, fresh, elegant with a modern twist. Goes well with balerinas and sneakers. I guess Jackie O would wear it while in NY.
Can be worn in all year round but in it’s best on Spring crystal clear morning

Absolutely HATE this. Smells like alcohol!!! Just cheap n nasty. Gives me a headache when I smell this on someone. Just yuck!!!

  27. :

On me, not a floral fruity at all. Something like a herbal green aromatic citrus mixture, which I think I will love as soon as warm days arrive.
The first impression when sprayed on my skin is of crushed green aromatic leaves. Very green with something oily and very aromatic, reminding you of fragrant herbs but not identifiable with any herb I know. Then the citrus appears, while the green aromatic part stays strong. Beneath it all, I can feel something making the perfume rounder and more beautiful.
If I had to guess, I would believe this perfume to be one of the 1970s green unisex ones. Fresh, very green, almost metallic. Good for city dwellers, good for running in a field. Energetic like a run in the morning.
It’s on my to buy list, possibly as soon as the weather warms up 🙂

I have only tested on a card so far but found it sharp, loud, metallic, twangy and sour. Almost the olafactory equivalent of walking blindly into a lamp post. It will take courage to go back and test it on skin..

Like fresh, bright, crisp scents but are tired of the grapefruit/yuzu note which can get a little bitter and snooty? Then consider DKNY Women; it is very fresh and crisp, but uses the tomato leaf note to give a fresh and very green, lightly earthy vibe. Lightly earthy, not heavy, just a counterbalance to the citrus notes. There is an herbal quality and a young woodiness as well, with the faintest spring flower accord. A light, inoffensive, ‘office friendly’ kind of scent that is not boring or generic. I quite enjoyed my decant.
Edit: this relaxes into an interesting dichotomy – the fresh citrus stays, lightly, and a pale heliotrope creeps in, a really lovely floral that is very feminine and relaxing. This scent truly has some great layers!

A fresh clean scent … I personally would use it for the gym or for a hot day for a pick me up feeling of freshness… It is not so special though …I like aqua di geo far more!

I was actually stunned by how different this fragrance was the first time I smelled it. It is so many things at once that I cannot really describe it in a narrative way, I just have to throw out a bunch of adjectives: futuristic, urban, metallic, rainy, ethereal, late 90s…
I am so surprised to see reviews on other sites that dismiss DKNY Women as a bland citrus scent, or an uninspired laundry-musk scent. There is definitely citrus and white musk here, but I think they are well blended in to a composition that includes brisk greenness and watery, minimalist florals. The drydown is also softer and gentler and wears very nicely on skin. And to top it off the frosted skyscraper bottle is perfectly representative of the fragrance inside.

  33. :

I mostly pick up the lemon note. Very odd to not see lemon as an actual note in the description. I am testing this on a mild winter day, but perhaps it is better suited for warmer summer months. It is not unpleasant but I am not sure I would want to smell like a lemon. If you don’t like citrus notes then pass this one up.

i loved Les Belles de Ricci (now discontinued) when i was young. Now that i grow up i have been looking for something similiar ever since but of no avail. The tomato leaf there was appetizing!
DKNY women has tomato leaf so i blind brought it. At first, i was delighted. This is no similar to Les Belles at all. This tomato leaf is green, but i love green frangrance. However, it almost immediately gives me very very bad headaches for almost a whole day.
    terrible.

An unusual(in the best way!), gorgeous, energetic & vibrant citrus summer scent! Always reminds me of a time I used to live near a white sandy beach in Sydney, Autralia.
Starts off a bit loud but give it a few minutes and it settles down into an orignal aroma that I never smell on anyone else.
Like fresh laundry, citrus zesty fabric softener..totally in love with it. Have been using this scent since 2002.
    Most definetly my signature scent!

This is one of those perfumes that make you feel freshly showered no matter what state you’re in. It’s bright and lively but elegant and sexy. I don’t have a very refined nose but there’s definitely some sharp citrus followed by what I can only describe as a rainy summer. It’s feminine and sophisticated, like a perfectly tailored white oxford shirt.

  37. :

This is a great energizing citrus scent — no sharp edges or bitterness to the citrus, but not overly sweet either. Lovely daytime scent for work or casual wear. The distinctive leaf note makes it more unique than most citrus scents.

A few days ago I bought this perfume, because of all the reviews I read … And I’m delighted with it, it’s fresh, herbal, vegetable and citrus. Initially I get very juicy tangerines and a strong presence of tomato leaf, then is a soft citrus. I find that I do not get neither expected sillage nor longevity, but it´s very nice while it lasts. It´s a very special fragrance, and I don´t get it related to anyone I own. Totally recommend it!

I started to use perfumes in the 80’s, where it was all about the “big” scents, often oriental, woody and musky. Ysatis, Opium, Poison etc. If you wore these scents they “came into the room before you did”, enormous longevity and sillage, often considered “sexy”. DKNY was the opposite of all that. Ultra-citrusy, light, sharp, watery, green and floral. It was like a breath of fresh air, and I loved it. Maybe it wasn’t “sexy”, but it was happy and optimistic and it started my love of those kind of scents, especially the citrus and green. I think it’s funny that I wore the “ladylike” scents when I was in my 20’s and the “young” scents when I was in my 30’s and up. Just goes to show how much history/trends affect you.

I have always loved perfume and cologne, remembering scents forever and comparing them to their scent doppelgängers! This scent, DKNY women is my favorite scent-one that can’t be compared to! It’s only fitting my first review be of my signature scent! Never having found anything close, I am intrigued by the perfume by SHE where six people said it reminds them of this perfume! It is crisp and very strong. I smell grapefruit, a powerful scent I love-that I now know is tomato leaves, and vodka! I love Love, LOVE this scent! I get compliments on it and will continue to since I wear it often! It is not sold at Macy’s etc, but I would still buy it on Amazon or Ebay for the price anyway! Perfumia and other perfume boutiques still sell it. It projects and lasts! I love picking up a jacket and smelling that invigorating scent from days before! I wear this so much that my jackets have DKNY as a signature scent too lol!!! 😀
    Other citrus favs
So Fresh Sugar Lemon (like zesty lime margaritas) Sephora
I love love/D&G Light Blue. Smell VERY similar and 1st is less than half the cost.
CK one summer 2014: Ebay, Amazon
*new try CK one summer 2015: like, has a cucumber and mint vibe along with the citrus but finishes more masculine
*new try DKNY summer 2012: LIKE! citrus tonic smell-try if you loved Lancôme Aroma Tonic!

My cousin was on her 2nd 100ml bottle when she suddenly got tired of it and she gave it to me. For some reason i only smell the mandarin/tangerine notes and nothing else, not that i don’t like it. And, despite the fact that everybody believes it is a summer scent, i have classified it on my fall/winter ones, since it is then -november- when we have/eat mandarines (at least in my country). I have some left, only the colour has changed a tad and it smells old…but i still like it!

An abstract cubist masterpiece of a perfume!
It’s a bit too aggressive at first, but give it 10 minutes and it calms down quite nicely.

  45. :

    3 out of 5

A lovely, very summery scent. It’s not my usual cup of tea, I like the darker, woodier florals, but this is a nice change of pace. It opens with a strong tangerine/grapfruit note, proceeds to a greener tomato leaf (which is really cool), and then dries down to a lovely fresh floral that mingles very well with the citrus. I’ve only worn it once or twice at the minute, as it’s winter and I got it for Christmas, but I plan on wearing it more often as the weather warms up.

  46. :

One of my favourites. When I first sprayed it I waited and thought, hmmm just a fresh lemony grassy scent, well ok…but then as it was drying down some unexplainable notes came and charmed me to the point I fell in love with this hidden treasure. Very special composition, develops great on my skin, really feel fresh and energized after wearing it.

  47. :

I loved this scent so much! Juicy blood orange with a slight bitter note. Can’t really detect the vodka because my attention is all taken up by the wonderful citrus and tomato leaf. It really wakes you up and refreshes you when you spray it on. Works wonderfully in a hot tropical climate. Have been trying to look for a replacement bottle but no luck so far.

A Bitter Sweet Symphony. Refreshing, modern, simple and complex at the same time. It’s not an ordinary fresh smelling citrus perfume, not at all. It’s crytal clear, it’s delightful, it blossoms on the skin as the hours go by. The sleek, frosted glass bottle fits the juice wonderfully. This is how you imagine a waterfall would smell like. This is how you imagine the song by The Verve would smell like. This is how you do a great citrus scent, ladies and gentlemen.

Not a bad perfume, would prefer less tomato leaf reminds me of being in a greenhouse fulled up with tomato plants

I went through at least 4 (small) bottles of this when I was a bit younger, ages 18-25 maybe, when I only ever had one scent at a time. So I obviously really loved it.
I’m not experienced enough to pick out notes, but there’s something in this that (in combination with the citrus notes?) makes it smell a bit like fresh sweat, but in a good way, which I’m apparently really into. The tomato leaf maybe?
That makes it sound like I don’t agree with all the other reviewers who have called this a very clean scent, but I do. It’s just that it’s clean in a sour/sharp way that appeals to me much more than that other, laundry-like way.
I’d like to find something similar in another perfume, because I seem to have outgrown this one, or else the formulation has been changed. Either way, whenever I think about buying it again, I decide against it after testing it at the store.

  52. :

I realy love this perfume. It´s like fresh mountain rill, so cold as far as frosty. It reminds me washed laundry and grass.

Really extraordinary scent! I liked it when I was younger, and now I like it too…
It is fresh but strong, citrus but sexy, green but not that innocent! Outstanding scent for an outstanding woman.
For me it’s too powerful and invigorating. I prefer a lot softer scents. However, I must admit that this scent is a good one. Like a bowl of citruses!

  54. :

Just one tiny spray is too much for me. It is an acidic sharp smell and wayyyy too strong.

  55. :

I have never found a perfume similar to this anywhere else. I first smelt it on a colleague, and as I love unique scents with monster sillage, I bought it along with the body cream and shower gel. I’ve only ever had compliments and heads turning.
The only other scent that comes close to this for me is Issey Miyake’s L’Eau D’Issey, not D&G Light Blue, which I hate with a passion. Now THAT smells cheap and synthetic to me, much like Angel.
DKNY Women is a bold fragrance, confident, fresh and in-your-face. You can’t ignore it. It teases, intoxicates, challenges the status quo of sickly sweet scents in gaudy bottles.
Needless to say – despite the hefty price tag, it’s my signature scent.

Leaving the office unbearably hot day, I got this perfume as a shell of sour citrus (orange, tomato leaf and tangerine) I’m ready for a drink with friends in the city! I am happy with a lasting fragrance. Transmits security and joy.

  58. :

I agree, this scent is very extreme citrus.
For some reason I enjoyed this as a young teenager… 12 or so. Something about the brightness and the sharp citrus was suiting as a tomboy in the early 2000s.
    Nowadays I wouldn’t touch this.
It does bring to mind a salted citrus ring on a martini glass.
It’s sharp, sort of stings with its dryness factor, has a bitter tangyness with a subtle sweet edge. Very bright.

  59. :

    3 out of 5

This is extreme citrus. I sprayed it on a bus and someone said ‘Who eating them oranges’. Hahahah! On my skin, there is a very very slight musty, musky, dusty pinch and the rest is dominated by oranges and oranges and lemons and limes. I must tell you that I even felt as if there was Vodka somewhere in its notes. It actually made me feel woozy. All in all, it is an energizing, perk-me-up smell, mixed with some vodka and dust. I like it!

The fact that I like this scent is strange – mostly I choose the more floral perfumes / eau de toilettes.
But this is fresh, and I smell tomato plant in it. I love the smell of a tomato plant. I was very sorry to see the bottle empty one day.

there are not many scents i really dislike, but this is one of this case – smells too chemically, nothing naturally in it.

this is very different and odd. it’s very floral yet also very citrusy. it’s got a split personality which comes together with the wood notes and especially the tomato leaf. those 2 notes bring this together but also brings out the oddity. i like this, and i’ll wear it this spring, but i have to admit it’s not a big favorite.

I did the mistake of believing an SA who told me “Women” and “Women TO GO” are the same. Stupid me, of course they are not the same.
I prefer “Women TO GO” to “Women”.
The difference is mostly in the drydown. At first both fragrances are similarly wonderfully fizzy and crisp, cold in character. After that, the drydown of “Women” is dominated by thin synthetic amber + maby a bit of patchouli, which happens to be among my least favorite accords.
The drydown of “Women TO GO” is different. The crispy and cold flowery scent melts and it becomes powdery and very lightly oriental, lacking the amber. I don’t adore “cute” scents, but here, I like the specific way a cold and sharp fragrance evolves into something warm, soft and cute, yet doesn’t loose the original nature.
They are labeled accordingly here in Fragrantica. “Women” is a Fruity-Floral, and “Women TO GO” is an “Oriental-Floral.

This was a comforting signature scent for me for a long time before I ran out of it and moved on to other fragrances. The sweet and sour tangerine-like scent of it worked very well for me in the intense Florida heat.

I liked this one, it was unusual, but it worked on me nicely enough, However it was not my favorite scent, it was almost too unisex, leaning more toward masculine, but still I liked it. It is one that should definitely be tried out before purchasing though, not recommended for a blind buy.

There was a girl at school (this was about 12 years ago) who wore this everyday, and it was absolutely her signature scent – anyone that smelt it knew she was nearby!
It smells exactly how it’s been described in the reviews below, but I noticed that no one else mentioned a hint of chocolate. Or maybe it’s just me? Not sure lol but I definitely got a subtle hint of white chocolate along with the citrus, every time she walked past!
We were all obsessed with this scent, and i’ve always wanted to buy a bottle for myself. Might just have to!

i do not like this fragrance, smells more like room spray to me, couldn’t wait to wash it off, felt embarrassed wearing it, had to look for another fragrance to cover it. if somebody wants it, i’m up for a swap.

This is absolutely refreshing! Vodka, oranges, salty tomatoes and greenery, cassia mainly are the most prominent here. I’d think that would smell strange but it really doesn’t; combination is simply perfect. Backstage florals add shampoo-like scent quality. Sophisticated and lady like.
Not to many DK scents I like, but this one is exceptionally good! Good morning wake up and smile:) that kind of a scent.

I love this perfume but I could never, ever wear it. It belongs completely to my best friend. This is her signature scent and she rarely wears anything else. Such a beautiful fresh and citrus-y smell, something in the background reminds me of the discontinued Les Belles De Ricci Liberty Fizz.
It’s such a fresh, clean and summery fragrance, it lights up a room. It cuts straight through darker and murkier scents and whenever I smell it, it reminds me of my friend and all the silly fun evenings we’ve ever had.
This is perfect for any age, I don’t think anyone can go wrong with such a clean and sparkling citrus.

DKNY will always remind me of my youth in the nineties! Its nostalgia in a bottle for me, reminding me of my former love, and carefree summers in London in his open top car, trips to the coast and fun times together.
Its slightly woody, yet fresh, like warm rain on a summers day in a forest, if that makes sense. Its quite sharp and citrussy at first, but settles down after a few minutes and is long lasting.
This fragrance is very distinctive, nothing else really smells similar in my opinion. I think this is a good thng, because so many scents these days seem very “samey” sweet, powdery etc. I can detect this at 50 paces, its so recognisable.
I think this could be worn by a man or woman, as its not too sweet, or feminine or floral. It can be worn day or night, but works best in summer.
I’ve had a couple of bottles of this, but would not buy it again, I went through a phase of really liking it, but I’ve kind of grown out of it now.

This is just way too sharp on me, it made me sneeze several times within a span of 5 minutes of wearing it on my pulse points! This screams lemons & tomato leaves all the way which apparently my nose isn’t too keen on. I think this is one of those fragrances where you either really like it or you just don’t. One of my good friends uses this as her signature fragrance, it doesn’t seem to be that strong when she wears it. I definitely prefer the DKNY Summer 2007 edition over this one.
