Cool Water Davidoff for women of Davidoff

Share:

Description

Ten years after the successful launch of Cool Water for men, women’s version was finally released. The scent is very calm with aquatic notes that remind us of ocean breeze and cool sea-water, fruits and woods. Top notes are luscious, cool and aquatic with Citrus, Honeydew Melon, Quince, Pineapple, Lotus and Lily. Heart notes are gentle flowers; May Rose, Jasmine and Muguet. Base notes are Musk, Vanilla, Peach, Sandalwood, Orris and Vetiver. Cool Water was created by Pierre Bourdon in 1996.

    Fresh and nice. A bit fruity, a bit sweet. Soft and comforting. Good for a relaxing summer.
    The opening is more melon, later the lotus becomes the dominant note.
    Reminded me a bit of Curious by Britney Spears, but this one is better.
    Highly recommend for people who like water flowers or shampoo-like scents.

    My hubby loooooves this staff.
    I HATE it!
    It smells really cold and like all 90s with lack of taste or thought.
    I remember this smell following me around at school as everyone seemed to be wearing it as a must-have for some reason.
    It’s fresh, unoffensive and quite generic. Doesn’t look like it’s been put much thought into this creation in the first place. There is no sex, fruits, passion, no mystery or conversation between notes. It’s simply plain like a deodorant.
    I tried to use it during the Summer as a refresher but it sits on me like unfitting clothes with really long sleeves spreading around like a cloud. Even if I apply only a tiny bit of it, this smell would follow me till the end of the day; it sticks to my clothes to my hair to my skin like a film of an old soap; I was clean after a shower and now I’m all dirty again.
    People love it, I get it! But it doesn’t work with my skin whatsoever.

    Absolutely smells nice
    This was my “First Love” back in the 90′
    Very sweet and clean
    Too bad there’s too many clones out there
    So the magic’s pretty much gone ..

    I sprayed this about 3 hours ago and there is still a faint linger. It’s fresh and cooling on me, inoffensive but hardly special and although my partner declares it to be fruity I could only detect this in the top notes. As it settles down it has a powdery trace, that smell you associate with new-borns. I’ve had this bottle for ages now, I get it out when its summer, wear for a few days then put away. It will last a good few years yet so I can’t see myself re-purchasing but if you like cooling & crispy light scents then this is for you

    The top notes are lemony and floral clean (lotus or magnolia), after few hours it dries down to lovely fruity scent (peach, raspberry). What makes it exceptional is that impression of squeaky cleanliness and freshness that follows you like shadow from start till the end. You shouldn’t avoid it because it was made in 90’s. I think most perfumes from Clean brand smell pretty much similar and they are not considered “outdated”.

    After so many years since that bottle came out,
    yes, the good all times with the aquatic’s, I have bought it and one day about 7 years back I didn’t like it so this is my first perfume that I threw it away in the trash bin, believe it or not.
    Those days when I have the time I make a research and have a thread for men’s aquatic’s etc.
    This snapped on my mind and I bought it just to see what the problem was and hated it so much…I must say I have no bad memories while wearing it back in 90’s.
    I think I wanted to try this perfume again.
    So I bought it and now I really like it.
    First the citruses come up and about a quarter that “pink” smell something like a pink Aspirin is jumped up.
    I was like in a thriller while waiting for the pink vibe that I remembered to show of it’s present.And oh Yes!!
    It is EXACTLY as I remembered it.
    I can’t feel any huge reformulation but
    now the lemons come up rather the pink vibe.
    I sure will rock my new 100ml bottle for everyday and I’m so happy that I find it again!
    My problem was that I could not stand the raspberry and the melon.
    I do have some kind of a nausea after some hours because I read many of the comments before pull the trigger and everybody are complaining about it’s longevity.
    So, I made a bath and felt a little bit nausea…you cannot trust only the comments and the best thing to do is to try before buy.
    4 spritzes are just fine for me!!
    V
    PS:I have to try the 20 flanker of this one for sure.
    Yeah…they are darn too many O.o

    I decided to revisit this 90’s classic. I still like it! It’s cool and light with a very fresh “just out of the shower” smell. The fruit notes add a touch of sweetness. A good choice for everyday summer wear.

    I tested this today and can almost not smell it. Now about half an hour later I barely smell maybe some citrus? Its kinda masculine and not sweet and aromatic at all. I cant really understand that this creation appeals to anyone…

    I love the ‘just got back from a swim in the ocean’ feel this has. I live far from the beach now and when I am homesick I spray Cool Water and I feel right at home, nostalgic, and warm & happy inside. Thank you davidoff.

    With how much I love Cool Water Wave, I was excited to try the original.
    And I think I would’ve liked Cool Water if I’d tried it first, but having had Wave first, this one just doesn’t quite compete.
    There’s a sour, almost sweaty note that comes through, I assume it’s the Calone. I do like that it’s sharper than the Wave flanker, I want to see what it’s like to layer the two.
    But for me, anyway, Cool Water is “nice,” and Cool Water Wave is “Cool Water, except better.”

    This is very aquatic and citrusy to me. It smells like water sports and the kind of scent people would wear when going to the gym in the summer. It smells clean and fresh.
    This is an alright fragrance. The longevity is moderate on my skin and the sillage is soft or moderate.
    This fragrance is not up my alley – I don’t dislike it, but it’s not something I would consider repurchasing. I’m more into a fruity and fun fragrance from Escada.

  13. :

    There’s nothing aquatic about this fragrance, it’s very fruity in fact. All I can sense is a gaggling mix of melon and pineapple.

    Just received a bottle, and I like it well enough. Unfortunately, some note(s) is making my eyes sting. I also have Cool Water Women Coral Reef, which does not make my eyes burn, and is much fresher and lighter than the original. Glad I got it, but like it as opposed to my loving Coral Reef.

    This fragrance beloved by the masses is simply not for me.
    Smelt in the bottle I loved the fresh and slightly masculine vibe of this fragrance. However, once I bought and tried it on, I was left with a chemical smell that smelt terrible on me. Worse than many drug store variety perfumes.

  18. :

    This scent is not for me.
    It makes me think of spoiled fruit, toilet
    freshener and old overchewed juicy fruit gum.
    When I was a teen everyone seemed to be wearing this, and to me it was torture. It acually makes me feel unwell.
    The scent does not live up to the name, there is nothing
    “cool” or “water” about it.
    Nope, nope, nope..

    Bought this during the summer and it was okay. I wore it tonight (50 F) and I actually like it better. Funny how that works sometimes. It is fruitier without as much of the ozonic/aquatic vibe.

    Took me a while to get to sample this classic. And I was curious what the fuss is all about.
    I had my answer pretty much at the opening of this scent. I would get juicy watermelon, slightly spicy and masculine, yet amazingly refreshing and dancing together with lotus which makes the scent well rounded one.
    The drydown brought more of the notes to my notice, honey with a touch of vanilla somewhere far in the background not to make it overly sweet or sticky for summer.
    Fresh, aquatic and uplifting summer fragrance. Well done here!
    To me 8/10.

    Fresh, youthful, clean, bright, “freshly washed” scent. A timeless universal fragrance. One step above what a child perfume would usually smell (in a good way).
    Cannot go wrong with this in the summertime. And a good bargain!

    I hate the opening.. somehow i just hate any perfume with pineapple notes in it
    (like christina guilera)
    On me pineapple smells too sharp and overpower other beautiful notes.

    I wore this in college, my bottle was a gift from one of my sisters. I wouldn’t wear it now, but I really enjoyed this perfume in the early 00’s. Layered with lavender lotion was a particularly good combination as I recall.

    I had forgotten how good this smells!!!
    First spritz, smells a little masculine but then it turns into this fruity, sweet, comforting fresh smell.
    To me the drydown smells like peach, pineapple, Downey fabric softener and brisk fresh air.
    It’s lovely!
    I’m wearing it in the middle of winter and it’s perfect.

    Cool Water is not my favorite, but I like it more then I don’t. The thing about this fragrance is that it smells too artificial and sharply acidic in the bottle, but relaxes more into a bright, oceanic scent on my skin. I enjoy the men’s version a little bit more, however, the cologne smells nothing aquatic.

    (review from a man, tested on my girlfrined)
    There is not too much „cool water” feeling in the bottle. In the version for men really appear the summer and sea feelings, but in the women verison not really. What is positive, this is a real chameleon scent, chaneging in every hour, and you can really feel the top/middle/base notes. The top note is a real lemon parade with melon and quince (this one is so delicious), this the best part of the perfume. The mid is a little bit generic… common flower scent with some water lily and lotus. After the flowers gone, the fruits got attentions, especially the peach and the raspberry. Not a bad scent, but the mid notes are too boring, and not fit into the conception.
    – Summer, daytime scent
    – Sillage and longevity slightly over the average, maybe 5-6 hours
    – Safe blind buy
    Scent (open, top-mid): 7.5/10
    Scent (drydown, base): 7/10
    Sillage: 5.5/10
    Longevity: 5.5/10
    Uniqueness: 7/10
    Versatility: 6.5/10
    Total: 6.888/10

    This fragrance doesn’t smell anything like the vast ocean, but it mysteriously has that kind of aura. It’s an expansive smell that performs beautifully in a heat wave. I know this perfume is so 90’s, but since it’s not worn by many these days, I feel special when I have it on.

  35. :

    Cool Water will forever transport me to 1998. In junior high I had a pretty badass Adidas backpack that I thought made me look like a cool raver. I had a bottle of Cool Water that opened up inside one day, completely saturating the inside pocket. My bag smelled like Cool Water after that.

  36. :

    3 out of 5

    A ’90’s classic I never understood. Didn’t liked it then and don’t like it now.
    Of course, taste is a personal matter. So I’m always very careful and the fact I don’t like a perfume, doesn’t necessarily makes it a bad fragrance.
    But I’m sorry, I’ve got nothing good to say about this perfume. To me, it smells very, very generic, too sharp and industrial. And that’s not only on my own skin. I was around in the ’90’s, so I’ve smelled this perfume on many different persons as the aquatic-lovers were either wearing CK One, Tommy Girl, L’eau D’Issey or Cool Water. And I could very well understand the first ones, but Cool Water? Nope. To me, the synthetic, even more or less metallic note, in this one is more likely to give me a headache than any other (too) sweet perfume. I’m sorry… .

  37. :

    Ocean. Breeze. Salty air. That’s how it starts. But later it turns into something sweeter, like still spring water with fruity flavor. I can feel melon and raspberry. I love how it lasts on fabric. Honestly, I haven’t expected Cool Water to be so intense and long lasting, I sprayed it on my wrists and I could feel it next day on my sleeves. Hail aquatics from 90’s, they are potent.

  38. :

    3 out of 5

    For some reason this perfume smelled better to me when it first came out. Im sure it has been reformulated. Now it smells like men’s aftershave in my opinion. But to be fair, i really dont like very aquatic fragrances anymore.

  39. :

    5 out of 5

    This one is so strange. I keep it in my collection due to its iconic 90-es status and I like to smell it from time to time, but on my skin it sometimes it has sort of strange industrial marine smell that I just can’t stand. And sometimes it’s just salty cucumber/melon/water flowers mix. I believe this should be the calone that plays tricks on me. So I’m stuck in this love-hate relationship with Cool Water. It has the freshness that I need for the summer and in the cold months I love to simply smell it and remember days in the sun on the sea side. That’s how it smells on me – skin warmed by the sun with some salty drops of sea water after day in the sea. This one calls sailor’s adventure. That’s why my husband loves it so much on me.
    On my skin Cool Water is unexpectedly long lasting and on my clothes it lasts forever.

    A beauriful and light perfume which fit in the hot days. I love it!

  41. :

    4 out of 5

    I do not like this scent at all. I wanted to try it although I don’t like aquatic scents. To me it smells like cucumber but in a bad way (must be the melon combined with something else) in a powdery musty way with a sharp edge. To my nose a very unwelcome combination.

  42. :

    4 out of 5

    I get confused when I look at these notes. This scent is so aquatic and fresh! It’s not cool in a icy way like menthol or eucalyptus notes can be. It’s cool in a clean, floral way. The result is very feminine but still casual enough. I want to take a deep breath when I smell it.

  43. :

    5 out of 5

    This is a scent that’s just aynthetic but unlike the Cool Water for men it’s a bad type of synthetic !
    It’s not the worst scent in the world but to me it smells like the body mists you can get at Victoria Secret that aren’t very well constructed.
    What it does smell like is a fruity,aromatic scent that to me kind of smells like rotten strawberries.
    Performance on this is a redeeming factor so if this does smell better on your significant other you will at least be getting your money’s worth as this projects moderately for the life of the fragrance which is 6-8 hours which isn’t bad !!!
    Overall rating— 5.5 out of 10 !!! It had potential but just doesn’t make the cut…
    Sidenote— This smells very similar to CK One 2013 !!! I forgot like Cool Water Woman slightly better though

  44. :

    3 out of 5

    I love light aquatics and the initial sprays of this are delicious. Unfortunately it lasts about 30 seconds on my skin and then it’s gone. All I can do is use it like a body spray and then add a little of Coty’s Adidas Moves for Women. At least I have the first few seconds to enjoy the Davidoff. Wish it lasted longer on me.

  45. :

    5 out of 5

    Nothing out of the ordinary. Smells good but not great. Fresh and clean but not too feminine. Nothing earth shattering. Goes beautifully when layered with Bath and Body Works Moonlight Path body cream though. A must try combination especially for work during summer!

  46. :

    5 out of 5

    Starts off fruity but as it dried down, it was reminding me of something yet I couldn’t put my finger on it. Then it hit me. The drydown of this is like Ivoire by Pierre Balmain (the 2012 formulation not Ivoire de Balmain from 1976) minus the powderiness. If you like Ivoire, you will most probably like this. Wears well for an eau de toilette with decent longevity and sillage.

  47. :

    3 out of 5

    Very fresh, summery scent. Reminds me of the beach, sun-bathing, swimming. It is slightly masculine but that doesn’t bother me. I like wearing it on days where I know I’ll be outside a lot. It also works very well paired with Country Apple body lotion from Bath and Body Works, as the lotion compliments the fruitier notes in Cool Water. Lasts 6-ish hours on my skin, longer on clothing.

  48. :

    * These are my personal experiences/thoughts with this fragrance. Yours/others may differ. *
    Initial – citrus + calone
    Drydown – lotus + jasmine + lily of the valley + musk
    Duration – 4-6 hours
    Projection – moderate
    Experiences – A very strange scent on my skin. Cool and refreshing, but I can’t help but think of scented tampons/feminine pads when I wear this. It’s not unpleasant, but the mental scent association keeps me from wanting to wear it again.
    Quick Thoughts – feminine hygiene products, clean, aquatic

  49. :

    5 out of 5

    A watery woody floral musk, if that’s possible. Unusually for me, this melon note actually pleases me.
    Sort of a cantaloupe, sweeter melon, plus a tame calone which is not too marine, just hazy and like a cloudy morning, plus watery transparent florals and some kind of woody dry notes similar to the ones I find in Noa. The musk is always there, but not overpowering.
    Very gender-neutral, very transparent, very abstract and artificial watery floral but well done. Not too strong but persistent.
    Reminds me of Noa in its transparency but less cozy and more “clean”, transparent and vaguely fruity/juicy.
    An odd scent, out of my usual, but which actually intrigues me.
    To re-test. I am not sure if I would buy it or not, but it intrigues me and makes me come back to re-smell it.

    I own a sample.

  50. :

    I bought Cool Water (and D&G Light Blue) as blind buys because I need something clean and crisp, without being overwhelming, for work. Normally, I am a big scent kind of woman…I like them big, bold, complex, etc.
    Surprisingly, I liked both of these fragrances. They are different enough to justify owning both.
    Cool Water starts out aquatic but quickly adds a little depth with some light spices and florals. The melons attribute a fresh, fruity scent without being overpowering. Cool Water is a feminine, delicate fragrance that makes you feel like you just stepped out of the shower.
    I cannot believe I have skipped this fragrance for so long! I always thought I wouldn’t like this, or it was too common, so it wasn’t even on my radar. I was wrong. It is wonderful for these hot, muggy days. I can see always keeping a bottle of this for summer.

  51. :

    4 out of 5

    This is my No. 1 summer fragrance; but, for some reason, it doesn’t get much love here on Fragrantica – I mean, its current rating is 3.35?! While some hyped-up overpriced shite easily scores 4.5 and more?! It is easy to underestimate this juice, packed in a humble blue bottle, but I’d like to emphasise how innovative, influential and popular it was in the mid-1990s. Trust a genius perfumer Pierre Bourdon – the man who created Kouros – to perfectly execute the task of creating the freshest, most pleasant summer scent ever. It’s a rare combination of white flowers with a delicious vitamin cocktail that contains relatively uncommon notes of melon, pineapple and quince; it’s clean, breezy, juicy and energising. While I haven’t worn it continuously in the past two decades, this is one of the rare fragrances that I have repurchased several times. Another bonus is that nowadays it is ridiculously cheap.

  52. :

    3 out of 5

    That’s an amazing classic go-to staple for summer. It’s watery, a bit green, fruity, a bit sweet, juicy and fresh at the same time. Very complex and simple at the same time. It’s not like the sour and masculine Light Blue. Although it contains lemon, it’s not sour at all. I feel the raspberries,pineapple,melon and peach very yummy and juicy. Also the musk keeps it fresh and clean. I couldn’t characterize it flowery. Especially after a shower it’s amazing. I still wear it even in gym and it keeps me fresh. But I basically wear it daily in my job every summer without being cloying. My mum hates perfumes and it’s the only one that likes and sprays in her shirt sometimes.

    Good classic unisex fragrance. Its aquatic, slightly spicy and very cool and marine. very refreshing

  55. :

    4 out of 5

    Update: This smells very unisex to me (which I like) so I let my younger brother have a spritz before a date with his girlfriend, since he really loved the smell on me. Apparently she did too, and wouldn’t stop hugging/sniffing him the whole time lol. And this is a girl in her late teens. So to the menfolk our there, don’t be afraid to play around, with “women’s” perfume. The idea of gendered products is a bit silly anyway. Wear what you like.
    ~~~~~
    Cool Water has a distinctly 1990’s feel which is part of the appeal for me, personally.
    Around 1998, my mom had a shower gel that was meant to be used after laying in the tanning bed that smelled a lot like this, and I would sneak and use it to enjoy the lovely scent.
    This feels very summery, and smells like a fragrant and expensive high end sunscreen or suntan lotion, and the pool/beach. There’s a bit of a salty note in there that really pulls it together in my opinion, but it may just be my chemistry. Pineapple and lotus are very prominent on my skin, and the entire composition just works so well. Classically aquatic; clean and refreshing without being sterile.
    I have to say this is my favorite fresh/aquatic fume and it was my first “grown up” fragrance, and I still use it a lot in hot weather. Been a favorite for a long time, and the projection is perfect for this type of scent. Longevity is also outstanding. I can see how some may see it as dated and do seem to remember smelling this on many young adults as a child in the late 90’s. Received my first bottle as a gift in 2003, with my mother knowing I was more into skateboarding than makeup or barbies so it’s great for tomboys or those who detest the girly/floral sweet fruity stuff that’s en vogue. I think it’s perfect for all ages and genders, and timeless. Clean never goes out of style.
  56. :
    5 out of 5
    Cool Water has a real sentimental value to me. That’s the perfume I used for my first all night disco outings, and the next morning what I could smell on my clothes was a concoction of sweat, cigarettes and Cool Water.
    The fragrance itself is far from sexy party scent. It’s a sweet, fresh aquatic, and I like that there’s no sour or salty note in there. Maybe more suitable for the gym, nonetheless very lovely.
    Now I rarely use it as I can never find a good time for this scent, but I always have it in my collection just to sniff straight from the bottle and travel back in time.
    Have a new fond appreciation for this perfume, it is 100% acquired taste. I thought it was weird at first but grown to like and appreciate its subtlety almost like relaxing in a pool room. It is very light….but am not sure if that is conditioning or genuine liking…
    I am in love with this perfume, it might become my new signature. It’s aquatic, fresh and exciting. It’s a hard scene to describe but it’s one that I’m truly in love with. I’ve had so many compliments on it and feel like it’s an impsssible perfume to hate. For such a small price as well! Could not recommend more.
    Smells like a freshly emptied plastic pool lol…
    Nothing more nothing less
    I plan on using this perfume as a base for my gourmands that I feel are missing water or citrus elements (cake with no juice)
    Save your money!
    This smells like the early phases of a really good perfume but the notes/work isn’t complete and something is grossly missing….
    This is always my go to perfume for warm sunny beach days. I like sweet perfumes, but this one has stayed on my list for over 10 years now. Smells so nice and fresh and almost smell the melon in it. It would last on my skin all day long and won’t change the smell even after a swim in the sea. LOVE IT !
    It’s very light, very generic. The top notes are ozonic and watery, and there is virtually no change throughout the wear, even with the strange base notes such as mulberry. As your day goes on, it won’t change scent at all, what you feel at first whiff is what you get.
    I used to hate this manly one years ago as a teen, it smelled like men’s deodorant.
    Now my tastes have widened and I can appreciate notes without having to love a perfume nor even like it.
    I like this as an option, I would put it between Issey miyake without the sweeter melon notes, to Bvlgari men’s aqva range – the blue bottles in particular.
    Cool water isn’t dry like Bvlgari, it’s wet like Issey.
    Very inexpensive where I am so it’s a good option if you’d like this sort without it price tag.
    aquatic
    ozonic
    fresh
    Some rounded marine note going on. It’s not crisp and fresh like some of the l’eau scents are.
    Not your typical fruit type or floral, there may be white flowers hiding in there which might be why I’m not detecting the floral as it blends into the aquatic marine ozonic fresh vibe.
    No sharp edges detected, I think it still has a unisex opening.
    An aunt has this and it’s softer and more floral on her.
    I have an on again, off again relationship to this perfume. It was the very first scent I ever bought for myself, a blind buy of a ridiculously cheap 3.4 oz tester. I had never smelled ozonic notes in a scent before, and my 18 year old self was enthralled. But then I wore Bulgari Black, and wended my way through lots of other scents over the years, finally deciding after 2013 that I was not an aquatics person. But here’s the thing; although during cool weather the lemon opening can feel strident, in the dry heat of Arizona summers it is refreshing. The light, bright floral heart goes from laundry-like to sweet and clean, and the overall experience is much better. So if you are in the mood for a cheap fragrance that is specifically summery, in a lemony vein (like D&G Light Blue) and not cloying in a fruit-syrup way, then the original women’s Cool Water is definitely worth trying.
    This gives the appeal of a sexy woman, fresh out the shower, dressed and off she goes for the day. When people come into contact with her, she is clean well taken care of person. Probably wealthy but laid back.
    Classy and tasteful European is what comes to mind. Your WILL NOT see any animal print and gem stones on this lady.
    I received this from my uncle as a christmas present so many years ago. I didn’t like it very much at the time, being a young teen and all, but now it’s a nice, fresh exception in my perfume closet full of sweet fragrances.
    This doesn’t smell very much like flowers to me, I have always thought of it being an aquatic. Usually I HATE anything aquatic, but this I even like, so I guess the flowers are responsible for that. Very fresh, definitely for summer!
    At least on my skin this doesn’t leave much of a sillage. It stays very close to the skin and that’s a shame, because I would like others to smell this too. Doesn’t last very long either, a few hours at most.
    Cool Waters is one very common fresh/aquatic/water flowery perfume. If you have never smelled this, you will not be missing anything! There are plenty of other fragrances of this kind to discover.
    I forgot all about I have this one. I´ve had this one for about a decade, and today I found this in the back of my closet.
    It´s like meeting an old friend. Smelling this brings me back to a summer of fun with friends, going to the beach, having a picnic with my boyfriend. Bonfires and walking hand in hand with my boyfriend in the evening.
    It´s a great parfume, for when the weather outside is hot, and the Longevity is about 6-8 hour on my skin.
    An iconic summer scent. I recently bought this on a whim after always spraying it in store, and I’m glad I did. It’s a fresh, breezy scent, part of the ozonic/aquatic craze of the 90s with others like L’eay d’issey, only this one has more of a citrus combo with a fruity emphasis that really comes through for me. Uplifting and elegant, and the bottle is one of the more attractive ones out there. Perfect for summer.
    Extremely popular in the 1990s, I get the impression that this one’s being underrated nowadays. It may not be as iconic as other popular females from the 1990s such as Angel or Eau d’Issay, but just because it keeps quieter in the background doesn’t mean it’s a worse perfume. I like the coy femineity that this one suggests, which pretty much sums up what the 1990s were about. Seen from today, it’s a radical break from 1980s scents such as Samsara or Boucheron just like grunge rock was with 1980s pop such as Phil Collins or George Michael.
    Perhaps the most typical 1990s scent you can get.
    I mostly would wear this on autumn. It makes me happy and confident everytime i smell it, maybe because i associate it with one of the most beautiful moments in my life. I can understand why some describe it too artificial, but if you have the chance to really understand this perfume even its not complicated it is kinda vintage and nostalgic takes me back when life was simplier and feelings more real. I might just be subjective, but overall i cant see this being an going for beach perfume, its so more suitable for adventurous windy cool days. Its a perfume you would wear when u wanna be fresh but really relaxed about youre no makeup or anything sophisticated look. Also, it tends to smell like urine on some skins because of aquatic note that dont match with them chemistry, but i wouldnt blame this on the composition itself.
    There’s no bigger fan than the Davidoff Cool Water for men than me but I also like this woman’s version. It’s not a terribly sophisticated scent and in fact quite simple, fresh, feminine no nonsense. It has just enough of everything to please both mature and young perfume wearers. It can be used as a skin freshening fragrance and as an after shower scent like an extension of your body lotion. There’s nothing particularly complex or engaging about this scent. It’s classified an ozonic
