The rhubarb note set against the vetiver makes for a pleasant struggle. At the very top, your nose wants to defer to the rhubarb and go light and pleasant – but the vetiver isn’t having that. Rhubarb is like the little brother – getting ready to snitch on the older brother, vetiver, for stealing a pack of cigarettes from the gas station. I have no idea what I’m talking about. It’s a nice smell – I really enjoy it. Multiple arm sniffs have occurred.

This is another extremely moorish fragrance, like byredo pulp its fruity in a pulpy kind of way but this one is a lot lighter with the ginger and florals. Makes me want to smell my arm all day but unlike pulp it goes quickly – after a good twenty minutes I barely smell it and have to reapply. Love it, but for this price it should be lasting a lot longer.

شاید این یک عیب باشد که میتوان به راحتی از کنار محصولات مارک باکستون گذشت ، و شاید هم یک امتیاز باشد چرا که همه به راحتی از کنار آن ها گذشته و فقط شما میتوانید با کمی دقت از رایحه عطرهای او لذت ببرید و این یک لذت صرف فقط و فقط برای شما خواهد بود .
شروع این عطر با رایحه ای ترش و خنک آغاز میشود و برای لحظاتی شما را به یاد عطر بسیار زیبای Aedes de Venustas Eau de Parfum خواهد انداخت . این رایحه ترش و خنک و با طراوت (ریواس ) که با حضور زنجبیل کمی ادویه ای شده ، حضور زنجبیل از طراوت و شادابی عطر کم نکرده در ادامه با حضور نت های گلی در قلب عطر کمی از حس ترشی عطر کاسته و عطر ملایم خواهد شد . با حضور نت های پایه همچون وتیور و نعناع هندی عطر تغییر رایحه میدهد و از این مرحله هنر عطار در تغییر رایحه وتیور بعنوان نت پایه اغاز میشود . وتیور در هنر عطاری رایحه ای تلخ ، چوبی و بی احساسی داشته ولی عطار با تغییر رایحه ان با سایر نت ها رایحه ای بسیار زیبا از ان را در کنار سایر نت ها استخراج میکند.
این عطر را وقتی با دقت تست میکنید تقریبا ترشی شیرینی تلخی تندی را احساس میکنید در عین شادابی و طراوت ملایم بوده در همین حال هم حس تلخی از ان احساس خواهید کرد( وتیور ) هم حس ترشی و شادابی ( ریواس ) و در کنار رایحه مگنولیا کمی هم حس ملایم و شیرینی ، را احساس خواهید کرد .
رایحه عطر در حالت کلی : خنکی و ترشی ریواس در کنار تلخی وتیور . حالت ادویه ای و تند که بعهده نعناع هندی و زنجبیل خواهد بود . رایحه ای با ترشی ملایم و قدرت تلخی بعلت حضور نت های نعناع هندی و زنجبیل قوی تر خواهد بود در کنار نسیم ملایمی از مگولیا که زیاد مشهود نیست ولی حس بسیار کم و ناچیز شیرینی در ان احساس خواهید کرد .
عطر بسیار مناسبی برای فصل تابستان بعلت حس شادابی و خنکی و کمی هم پاییز و بهار بعلت وجود نت های ادویه ای و تلخ .

Imagine the opening of the new Aedes De Venustas EDP, green, fizzy, kinda “sweet and sour” and you’ll get an idea on how Devil In Disguise strikes “upon application” (D&S docet). The fragrance darkens quite a bit during the middle pahse and the drydown. A patchouli note (not the earthy quality) joins the party and together with a woody-musky accord give birth to a terrific dridown which is not very far from Mohur by Neela Vermeire and a sort of Jubilation XXV minus the incense.
There’s the typical synthetic quality of many of the Buxton’s compositions. It’s quite pleasant and give the fragrance an extremely modern vibe. Beside that, Devil In Disguise smells much more like a Duchaufour’s ctration than a Mark Buxton’s but I guess these guys influenced each other quite a bit during their collaboration with Comme Des Garcons.
